I am a solo hobby dev from Australia making Mighty Marbles - a physics based marble game where you are the level. There is music in the game too but I turned it off so the SFX was clear!
Yesterday I posed this and got feedback the marble on plastic sounded a bit too much of a thud and the siren for the copter was a bit much so I tried to fix. Did I make it better?

toby fox's experience as a composer and his talent for making good, unique music is i think what was the tipping point for undertale in terms of influence and popularity. the game's writing itself is what is truly loved and it's the genuine heart of the game, but i am convinced that if it had had "worse" music it would have been only an indie hit rather than one of the most influential games of all time. it was the music that gave it the necessary vitality to explode

A few months ago I made a crappy prototype of a game that didn't exist which I thought should exist. I shared it with reddit and it turned out people really loved the concept. Here I am today will a super fun family friendly game! My marble run contraption game, Mighty Marbles is going into early access Jan 9 2024. It based on classic games like screwball scramble and mouse trap but in a video game world.
