Failed to marry lover, Pakistani man walks to Indian border to 'Get Shot'

Love can make a man to do anything. Now and then when one is in love , they even can self-harm. Be that as it may, what Pakistan's Mohammad Asif did was something extremely odd. Heartbroken over not being able to marry his lover, a Pakistani man chose to walk to the Indian border thinking a BSF bullet would kill him. The 32-year-old is now jailed. He was gotten by 118 Battalion of the Border Security Force on Monday near Mabboke border present and handed over on the Mamdot police, BSF authorities said on Wednesday. Asif told the security powers that he walked towards the Indian border hoping that a bullet from the BSF army would kill him. He said he wanted to hang himself but changed the mind as that would not been the correct during the sacred month of Ramzan. An occupant of Jalloke town in Pakistan's Kasur district, Asif was in love with the sister-in-law of his elder brother Atik-ur-Rehman. Asif chose to end his life after twice being denied to marry her. His family and that of the lady opposed their relationship, as indicated by his record. He said both loved each other and wanted to get married. In any case, the lady was compelled to marry another person. At some point back, she got divorced. Once more, Asif begged his family to give him a chance to marry her, yet they cannot. Asif is from a well-off family that possesses around 25 acres of land and he has cleared his senior secondary exams, Station House Officer (SHO) of Mamdot police headquarters, Rashpal Singh, said. It was such an ordeal to create these paintings in a matter of 5 days. The amazing non profit NGO team Make Some1 Smile worked with such enthusiasm. They dedicated their time to assist me and another young artist Mr Naveen. The day and night efforts from morning 10am to 3am in the middle of the night reaped this colorful result. Kudos to the young selfless hearts who said had never touched a brush in their whole life but still painted the way they were directed. I had need down with fever for a day and could not catch up, but It would not have been possible if not for these young beautiful souls who were on video call and got the ideas ans finished the artwork. Finally they made it happen on the republic day as decided. It's been four years since "MAKE SOME1 SMILE" has been formed and the works they have done towards our society is commendable. This project was done on the walls of a school of specially abled children. We even made the kids involve in this. An amazing experience of lifetime for me and the perks were the feeling of goodness. Thanks for the appreciation and honor from the team make someone smile and the faculty of the special school Dr Kanti and Mr Harish. In a statement released on Tuesday afternoon, the Indian Army revealed that three people – an officer and two soldiers – were killed in a “violent face-off” with Chinese troops in the Galwan River Valley on Monday night. “During the de-escalation process underway in the Galwan Valley, a violent face-off took place yesterday night with casualties. The loss of lives on the Indian side includes an officer and two soldiers. Senior military officials of the two sides are currently meeting at the venue to defuse the situation,” the Army’s statement said. These are the first casualties at the India-China border in 45 years, since 1975. In 1967, in a clash in Sikkim, 80 Indian soldiers are 400 Chinese soldiers are estimated to have been killed.
