The difference between the songs made in the late '90s and the songs these days is vast.
Like in late 90s songs ,they were focusing on his /her only love of life and if they are not getting them in their life they are putting their 100% efforts to make them theirs...
For eg .
And songs these days are going with the agenda "TU NHI TOH KOI AUR HI SAHI"
"Aur poocho naa zara mere din ke baare mein bhi, bas itne mein sanbhal jaon, haan." At times all we want is someone to it a friend, family or a lover. Someone who asks us about the little details of the day, what did we had for dinner, what made us excited, what broke us today. :')
Does any Desi person have some cool/emotional/dance song in hindi that I can put in a Playlist for Pavitr (or for him and Hobie as a couple)??? Bcs I found a couple of songs that I really liked but my knowledge on this is very small.
So if anyone has any suggestions (better if I can find a translation online) can u plz drop some songs name in the comments??
You know that episode in The Big Bang Theory in which Bernadette and Raj do a parody of an Indian dance number? The lyrics do sound ridiculous . . . in English. That's the thing. I don't know why, but Indian song lyrics that sound absolutely bizarre when translated to English, sound perfectly normal, nay beautiful, in the original Indian versions of the songs. I guess Indian languages just carry the hyperboles and metaphors with a certain elegance.
P. S. When I say Indian languages, I don't necessarily mean that they are spoken only by Indians or by people of Indian origin.
Why is it always “you look so beautiful” and never “yeh chaand sa roshan chehra, zulfon ka rang sunehra, yeh jheel si neeli ankhein, koi raaz hai inme gehra. Tareef karu kya uski jisne tumhe banaya”
