vincent’s philosophy of love based on his absence of taste is really interesting, like the fact he only kills Manon because he thinks utilizing her in the cooking he feeds to rody will physically infuse the dish with love….since rody adored her….. Rody not eating the food he was given prior having the impression all his previous leftovers felt self absorbed snd devoid of love which is ironic for a chef who’s main job is to provide for other people. Vince has never done that. the bistro itself doesn’t cater towards the customer with its premade menus and he chases a way to find that selfless kind of love especially after he sees how loud and passionately Rody cares for Manon, he tries to express it in the only way he physically knows how. we have one character whos caring to a fault, dedicating their entire existence to serving someone else and putting their priorities above all else and another character who has exclusively lived for themselves thus far and even while trying to express love through cooking can’t do it outside of his own interest and need to accomplish creating something that feels selfless and genuine.

DANNY PHANTOM PROMPT!!

Danny has been adopted by the ancient of space, which was super cool and all, but came with it's own set of problems. Danny was changing, physically and mentally. Before his ghost adoption, Danny had assumed that his experiences were 'normal'. Technically they were, technically the feeling of otherness was Clockworks fault. Technicalities were NOT a Danny problem right now though.

The problem right now, was Danny staring directly into the sun as the moon danced it's way to cover it. This was not supposed to be a problem. Danny was not the only one observing this astral phenomenon. He was the only one floating towards the sky though.

He did not expect to go ghost out of sheer instinct, and he could only thank the ancients that he wasn't out in the streets. He was at least partially covered in some dingy alleyway, ya know, like a gentleman. Which is great and all, but there was also a reason he was in a dingy alleyway, and that reason may or may not have guns.

TLDR;; Danny has been recently adopted by the ancient of space, this is super great and super cool but it has lead to situations™ the latest of which being triggered by a solar eclipse. Danny, while being chased by either his parents, the giw, or some sort of supers (dcxdp my beloved) is frozen by the eclipse triggering some sort of transformation that sort of cements his status as ghostling of the space ancient

I feel like I've word vomited this,, and it does NOT make sense but I am NOT caring right now. Maybe it will make sense later but I'm also in class right now so no dice 😍

So I have this idea for a Hazbin Hotel au and just hear me out okay.... CO PARENTING AU

Like the hotel residents are just chilling when the doorbell rings and Charlie goes to answer it hoping that it's a demon that wants to be redeemed but no it's a little baby wrapped in a fuzzy pink blanket

Charlie freaks out, y'know as you do when there's a baby on your doorstep, and she calls the others over

Angel is the first to respond he squeals and picks up the baby Nifty climbs onto his shoulder to get a closer look

"Can we keep it?"

Husk facepalms (mostly to hide his smile because Angel looks so cute with that baby)

Vaggie is horrified and continues refusing to let Angel keep this baby

Angel just goes on a whole rant about how her parents left her there and he wasn't going to abandon her (he's really going for guilt tripping them tbh) In the middle of the rant he thrusts the baby into Vaggie's arms and she just stares down at this baby and you can see her fall in love right then and there

Charlie is watching this with heart eyes because Vaggie looks so soft right now

Sir Pentious is just like "Sssso are we keeping it?" (He's not very good with kids)

Spoiler alert: they kept her

I've been thinking about this way too much so here's what I think they'd be like as parents

Most of them in the same boat where they're good with kids but being good with kids and raising them is a whole nother story

Vaggie: is a little too strict at times and is probably the one saying you can't have too much sugar. She didn't really have a childhood so she's trying her best to give the baby the best childhood she can while also keeping her safe and probably being way too overprotective

Charlie: is spending as much time with that child as possible. She never wants her to think she's being abandoned and wants her to know that they love her more than anything. She's basically just trying to be there the way her parents weren't.

Angel: His style of parenting is very different from Vaggie's. He's not strict at all he just really wants to be liked. He's still a good parent though. He's basically trying to give her the childhood he didn't get and is definitely overprotective. He's terrified of what Valentino would do if he found out about her which he knows is irrational because she's got the most powerful family in hell but he still has nightmares about it. He will definitely bring the baby into his bed a lot of nights instead of leaving her in her crib. He talks to her a lot in Italian and sings her lullabies.

Husk: He's an amazing father. He's logical but chill enough to be a good middle ground in the middle of all the crazy. He's basically the kind of parent we all need. He's very intune with others feelings and always knows what's wrong when she's crying.

Nifty: She takes on a lot of the important stuff like changing and bathing her. She's tiny and can't actually pick the baby up but she's a surprisingly good parent anyway. She's still Nifty though so she's definitely making toys out of roach corpses and entertaining her with those puppet shows.

Sir Pentious: Okay this man has no idea what he's doing at all. He's not very good with children just because he doesn't know how to interact with them but he shows love in his own way. He's the one that makes her crib and most of her toys. He's definitely the one that teaches her math and science when she's older and they would probably invent together too.

Alastor: He wanted absolutely nothing to do with this baby. He was against bringing her into the hotel all together but eventually he warmed up to her. It starts when everyone else is asleep and he hears the baby crying. After a minute of contemplation he decides to go see what's going on. He ends up rocking her and humming his jazz music until she falls back asleep. He starts doing this every night (someone has definitely walked in on him doing this but nobody mentions it to his face). He's the kind of parent that takes a vow like "I will protect you to my dying breath" y'know some crazy shit like that

Lucifer: He's there all the time helping out. He's the kind of grandparent that would brag about his grandkids, he's showing everyone pictures of this baby it's honestly embarrassing. He's really doing his best to make up for not spending enough time with Charlie. He's also the only one who knows anything about children like they wouldn't even know how to feed this kid without him.

the more it goes on, the more I believe that while I hope for jupeter to be endgame, they should not end up together together at the end of the show

as in, I'd like it if they chose to be at each other's side actually taking it slow (not Carte Blanche slow) and recovering, I think Nureyev needs to understand what being alive as his own person means to him and Juno needs to find his place again once all that is over

what will Rita want to do after all this is over ? is the plan to go back to their home, or is the homesickness bearable enough to keep on exploring around, get a small ship and rest out there for a while ?

what could Nureyev even begin to think about doing ? how could he simply stay still after 20 years of always being kept on his toes ? what to do with an entire future ahead of you with no obligation, no debt, no reason to keep moving ?

maybe they find a common goal again, because they can't stay aimeless, they find other injustices to quell, other rotten systems to dismantle? they keep roaming around using their skills a little bit longer, helping people, before they feel like they've deserved a proper retirement either together or apart

idk, but what I do know is that I don't want a happy ever after after all that, I want them trying to build something for real, and maybe it'll work maybe it won't, that's life

I want them to try though, because their relationship not getting a chance would go against the spirit of the story being told

Strange hc time. Ghost/Soap/Roach.

Soap's dad is a deaf chiropractor and has been deaf all of Soap's life, so Soap therefore knows sign language since a young age.

(Inviting Mute!Roach into this equation) When it comes to a 22'verse Roach most people kinda make him friends/lover with Ghost first. But I think given the circumstances Soap and Roach would get along like a forest fire. And especially since Soap would be even easier to communicate with. That means when Ghost meets Roach he'll learn more than the basics that he'd already know. I actually like this idea with 09' Soap better because of the potential for petty arguments.

Soap and his dad have similar attitudes, so when they're arguing, if his dad is fed up with the conversation will close his eyes and cross his arms. The chiropractor part, is mostly because having a family member that is a chiropractor is both a blessing and a whole vibe. Like some people don't trust chiropractors and I saw this post earlier of soap being untrustworthy of chiropractors...so that's amazingly ironic. My cousin will offer to crack any and everyone in the family in half, so Ghost gets a win here.

His dad (Let's call him Davis) likes being a chiropractor because he "Can't hear the scream of pain." And "It's not my problem unless I fuck 'em up." He asks them if they're fine and they'll do a thumbs up.

Soap brings Roach home and he and his dad hit it off immediately. Davis adopts him on the spot and jokes, "What a wonderful lad, you didn't have to get me a friend Johnny." Ghost however needs to get his game up. Half-deaf boyfriend who has a deaf father and a mute boyfriend? -1 point. Can't even read his lips...he wears a mask.

Eventually Soap's hearing leaves him with having to use hearing aids.

So Davis, Soap and Roach will have complete signed conversations with each other and leave Ghost in the dust to try and figure it out lmao. (Soap's mom will translate for him.)

Anyway, here's the video that made me think of this. This would definitely happen too.

I should be asleep, instead I’m theory crafting for season 2 of Hazbin Hotel. RIP

Ok, so. Gonna talk real quick about Alastor, Lilith, and the 7 year gap here. I think we’re gonna find out more about what exactly happened 7 years ago that caused them both to go MIA, or at least the situation surrounding Alastor when he went MIA.

In another post I did, I figured based off Zestial’s line on the rumors going around, that Alastor probably disappeared around extermination day. And based on Val and Vox’s reactions to Alastor coming back, it seems like they don’t know why he was gone either.

Now, we have confirmation that the Vees are gonna have a much bigger role to play in season 2. And coupled with the torn picture of Vox and Alastor, I think we can confidently say we’re gonna get some backstory on Vox and Alastor’s relationship. But more importantly, we’re gonna see what the fuck happened when Alastor “almost beat” Vox at something, 7 years ago, before Alastor went MIA. At least from Vox’s perspective. And THAT should shed some light on what the fuck Alastor’s whole deal is, maybe even why he disappeared for 7 years.

Cause Vox’s whole attitude in Stayed Gone makes it sound like he won based off a technicality, or that it wasn’t a complete certain win. And the comment on how Alastor’s a coward makes it sound like he ran from a fight, but if Alastor did actually run from a fight with Vox, Vox wouldn’t be acting like the devil’s knocking on his doorstep, and more like during his verse in Finale/The Show Must Go On. If Alastor suddenly went MIA, and Vox didn’t know why, that’d explain why Val called it his win, why he’s so uncertain about his win, why he called Alastor a coward even though he seemed very nervous about Alastor being back. Because Vox is super confident when he actually saw Alastor run. So this suggests that he doesn’t know why Alastor went missing 7 years ago -> he wasn’t responsible for Alastor going MIA.

Tl;dr: season 2 will shed some light on the Vox vs Alastor thing 7 years ago before Alastor’s disappearance and help us figure out what the fuck is going on with Alastor.

There is no other band like MCR. Like I'm not even joking. I like a lot of music but no other band makes me feel like MCR does. It's like fucking meth or something. Like MCR is it's own whole experience. It was made to be listened to from start to finish with my upmost attention on it. MCR in a playlist is good, great even, don't get me wrong, but just listening to MCR in full, through a whole album (or all of them) is a whole different experience and it's just AMAZING. Finally putting these ideas into post form

so we know how the overlord is commonly accepted to be scared shitless of zane, that being the reason he put three anti-zane villains on his council, because he killed him for a lot longer than lloyd did. But i think there might be some more to that. See, the overlord knew of the prophecy and thus the possibility of losing to lloyd. So maybe he kept a backup plan, choosing a place that would allow him to come back easier for the final battle, which is where borg tower was built which enabled his return, and maybe even keeping some of his powers in reserve for that. He was still weakened of course, but he had a backup plan. And then after his fight with lloyd, there was no more prophecy as it had already come true, so there was nothing stopping him. This is where Zane comes in. Zane was never destined to defeat the overlord. And this was already the overlord‘s backup plan, so when Zane defeated him, not only had he no way to return for a long time, he also did not expect it. That is what i believe to be one of the main reasons the overlord was so scared of zane, thank you for coming to my TED talk

Kurzer rant über eher persönliche Probleme mit der Uni unter dem Cut

Ich hätte nicht damit gerechnet wie beschissen ich das Studium finden würde. Und don't get me wrong, ich liebe die Inhalte. Die Themen machen mir Spaß, ich befasse mich gerne damit. Ist ja eh eher ein Interessenstudium als irgendwas übermäßig karriereorientiertes. Aber ich komme einfach nicht mit der Universitäts-Umgebung klar. Dieses Herumsitzen in Klassenräumen und Stunden vor'm Laptop fühlen sich nur wieder an wie diese beschissenen Jahre des Corona-Abiturs. Ich bin viel zu aufgekratzt für den Scheiss. Gut, deswegen habe ich ja eh angefangen wieder mehr Sport zu machen. Aber das ist nicht vergleichbar mit dem Maß an körperlicher Auslastung, die man durch einen Arbeitstag in der Werkstatt erreicht.

Ich habe konstant das Gefühl zu wenig zu tun, mir nicht genug Mühe zu geben und nur herumzusitzen. Am liebsten würde ich weiterhin die Vorlesungen besuchen und gleichzeitig schauen ob ich mich mit meinem alten Beruf in kleinem Maße selbstständig machen kann. Ich komme nicht gut mit diesem Pseudo-Stress durch theoretische Prüfungen und Hausarbeiten klar.
