"Jayj..."

You stalk out to the porch of the chateau where JJ is sitting with John B sharing a joint. He looks up at you through bloodshot, hazy eyes, and that goofy smile you love plastered on his face.

"Oh, what's up babe, you wanna smoke?"

"Mm, no. I was wondering if you would you peel this orange for me?"

John B looks at you, confusion all over his face, you can't peel an orange yourself?" He asks, you raise your eyebrows at him in response.

"It's just.... You even have fake nails... Oh, just forget it."

"Sure thing babe," JJ says as he swipes the orange out of your hand and you mockingly stick your tongue out at John B.

JJ takes a hit of the joint, inhaling deeply before he begins to talk as he exhales.

"If my girl wants me to peel an orange for her, I' peel an orange for her," he passes the joint over to John B so he can begin to peel the orange for you.

"Hell, I'll go out in the mangroves and peel every orange I find if that’s what she wants.”

John B's brows are furrowed now.

"We don't even have mangroves on the island," he starts before JJ interjects, "Fuck it! I'll go to Florida, then! You're missing the point, John B!"

Once he's finished peeling, Ju hands you the orange, his fingers sticky from the juice.

"Oh," you gasp, "my hero!" You say as you lean down and kiss JJ on the cheek before pulling his hand up and sucking on his fingers, giggling.

"How will I ever repay you?"

JJ smirks at you "I can think of a few ways..."

At this, John B stands up and flicks the joint into the ashtray beside him.

"God, you guys are gross, I'm going inside."

You laugh at John B, as you set the orange down climbing into JJ's lap.

"Didn't you want to eat that?" He motions to the orange.

"Mmm, nope. It was a test."

"A test?"

"Yup, basically if you ask your boyfriend to peel an orange for you — something simple that you should be able to do yourself and he does it, he truly loved you and doesn’t mind doing small gestures for you. You passed, obviously. I love you."

JJ shakes his head at you.

"Baby, I do not need to peel oranges for you to know I love you, but I would do it all day everyday if you wanted me to. I love you, too.”
