chunky kuhli loach?

one of my kuhlis (left) seems pretty large. all the others are a normal kuhli loach size and shape (right) but this one seems… chunky.

anyone have recommendations of if I could cut back feeding & observe or if this one may be an eggy female? am I overthinking it? I’m still new to loaches so i just want to make sure everyone is ok! thanks as always!!

#I heard they benefit from rocks for breeding… I might add some more rocks just in case but I’ve heard it’s very unlikely for them to breed #in captivity #fishblr

Real haggis never submit to captivity. They'll rip out their own throat first. Some have even been known to spontaneously combust if caught in a trap. Hence the total lack of captive ones.

I loved the Zeus - Posedion conversation so much because it is the most sibling tm scene in the show so far (after Posedion intervened and stopped his brother from literally murdering his son). They're literally at war one second, there's some levity a second later when they decide they're on the same side and then the youngest brother has to rub in the fact that he won and that he's going to tell everyone else in the family ASAP much to the older brother's absolute annoyance as he rolls his eyes. Not to mention "Who knows about father?" "... Hermes " "So... everyone knows?" Hermes canonically being the biggest blabber in Olympus lmao.
