Hope you all had a solid, productive & educational #Juneteenth & #blackmusicmonth New official American Holiday but alot of Black people been celebrating because like alot of our culture that others dont understand bern erased,supressed,told wrong.Truth passed down through Generations of Black families/historians. Alot of people dont quite know the meaning & importance or dont care.Facts; - Enslaved Africans names are not "THE SLAVES" They were taken from African brought many places not just America but #chattleslavery was worst form, longest running most inhumane example, genocide. Stop addressing as "the Slaves" They had names , families,cultures,religions , languages ! Revisionist history named our Ancestors "The Slaves" - Black people in America are not all decendants of enslaved Africans.Many came from certain regions of Africa,some didnt survive #slaveships thru #middlepassage. 1st came to ports of South Carolina. Ive been to these ports while on music tours performing near where kkk rallys & confederate flags are proudly celebrated. Theres still alot of emotional trauma/baggage passed down In the south and in our famililies who migrated west during Great migration "out of 400 years of slavery" Still recovering from extended violence, racial laws, attitudes, jim crow,segregation,redlining,prison system,discrimination post slavery - Lincoln gets credit for freeing enslaved africans but was not totally for it. Much was polical reasons. #Slavery made America rich. While exploiting Blacks and making us poor for generations. When #emancipationproclamation passed took months for u.s gov to reach southern states by horse some reached during week of june in teens 13th,14th,15th,16th ,17th, 18th, 19th the exact day is different for each region However slavery and black oppression was far from over and continues to this day. Showtime announced last February, just weeks before the COVID-19 lockdown, that Oscar-winning actress Viola Davis will portray Obama in Showtime's The First Lady. The reason black people can say nigga is because, if you look it up, Nigga means black king. But back in the day white people heard us saying it and learned what it meant so they up the hard R on it.

The reason people that aren't black shouldn't say the n word is simple,

You are not black

I guess it's different if your black friend gives you permission to say it. But if they do remember

They do not speak for all black people

Which means, you can only say it with that person.

Basically, what I'm saying is if you say the n-word and you're not black, you're in the wrong, obviously. But it's different when you do not know the actually gravity of it. But if you do Know the gravity, and yo dumbass still choose to say it. Baby don't be surprised when people start chewing you da fuck out.

Like seriously, people like Tana mongoose (whatever her name is) be whole ass crying after they apologized for they 3rd time. Like girl, I'm not going easy on you no more. Wipe those tears, bitch you know what the fuck you did.
