rio who wakes you up in the morning with a kiss on your nose and a cheery compliment, your breakfast placed in front of you. he watches you eat it with stars in his eyes, yearning for your approval. he practically jumps out of his skin when you ask him why he’s just standing there and not sharing this breakfast with you, and he’s all too eager to climb into bed and share your warmth (and food.)

rio who takes you around town while you run errands, insisting that he should be here for you in case something happens. he swings your hands back and forth, humming a tune you don’t recognize. you catch yourself staring at him and look away, even though you know he wouldn’t mind. he’s such a beautiful soul, so devoted and good to you, it makes you feel like the luckiest person in the whole world.

rio who whines when you try to feed yourself a sandwich you picked up from a vendor for lunch. his puppy dog eyes are something you can’t resist, so you sigh and give him your sandwich. he beams like you just told him you love him again, and he feeds you your lunch. if your hair threatens to fall into your face, he tucks it behind your ear with the softest brush of his fingertips against your cheekbone. it’s enough to make you pause, but he’s still smiling and motioning for you to keep eating. It's a bit embarrassing, but so long as he’s happy, you’re happy.

rio who turns bright red when you kiss his cream of dessert off his lips while you laugh. you know it’s not fair to tease him, especially when he’s been waiting for years for you to say you’d fallen for him too, but his flustered stumbling and wide eyes are too adorable to resist. he pulls you close and hugs you tightly, and for a moment you swear you can feel the yearning he stored away in his heart for you.

rio who dances with you in the streets when he hears live music, who sweeps you off your feet in a clumsy twirl (mostly on your part, though he doesn’t comment on it.) he spins you around and holds you close, reveling in your smiles and laughter. he wants to cause as many of your smiles as he can. he wants to absorb your laughter into his skin. he wants to be anything and everything that makes you happy because it’s the least you deserve.

rio who tucks you in at the end of the day to make sure you don’t get too cold at night. he stays for a few beats longer than he should, just staring at you and replaying the day’s events in his head. it’s selfish of him to want it all to happen again, but that doesn’t stop him from yearning. he leans over and kisses your forehead, only to freeze at the soft murmur of his name. you thank him for helping you to bed, as tired as you were, and kiss his cheekbone softly before smiling up at him.

and just when he thought he couldn’t love you any more, you prove him wrong.

Swap AU:

Vox's Goetia (we need a name for him...umm because he's where Vox gets the extras for the fight against Heaven; got any ideas?) looks like a Griffin. He's got a Lion lower half and eagle upper half but his colors are shades of blue. (You see why Vox proposed that deal.)

The crew work on defense for days. Vox goes to Lucifer to ask about Angel weaknesses and informs him about Adam's threats against Charlie and the Hotel, and that's how the hotel crew gets informed of angel weaknesses. Lucifer tells, after all why should he keep Heaven's weakness a secret when they're coming for his daughter?

Vox then puts a big order of Angelic steel in for Carmine, paying extra to have it arrive early, which it does so he and Pentious can build turrets and drones to shoot down the exterminators. They have a blast.

Also: fun facts:

Vox's sensors and subconscious relax and recognize Alastor's scent as safe, even though Vox himself cannot smell anything. The sensor's database has recognized certain scents as family (Husk's, Vel's, Val's) lover's/husband's (Alastor's) little sister (Charlie's) my duck loving liege lord who might be my friend too? (Lucifer) the crazy exorcist chick whose now treating me with kid gloves--IT WAS ONE PANIC ATTACK! (Vaggie) Val's weird Spider who keeps taking photos and I know is stealing my shit (Angel Dust) The Best Little Engineer That Could (Sir Pentious) The Engineer's less then steller sidekicks 1-8 (Eggbois) the chick that keeps blowing up the wall (Cherri Bomb)

Angel Dust does do more then steal. He brings in Alastor's cooking to the Hotel, and Vox who does miss homemade jambalaya jumps at the chance to eat it. Vox just devours it. (Of course Angel lied and told him it was set aside for Niffty and Velvette for working so hard. He wasn't going to tell him Alastor had been waiting at the door of V-tower with the large Tupperware bowl with strict instructions that only Vox got what was inside.)

Vox actually turns in early--he'd been stressing out with Adam's threat laying over him and the thought of a true death coming for him hasn't sat well, but the warmth of good food made him sleepy and he goes to bed. He's barely asleep when Alastor joins him, gently petting his rabbit ears and murmuring his undying devotion to sleeping Vox's ears.

uhhh. drawing from the demons of the ars goetia grimoire, seir could work as a name? according to his description, seir can go to any place on earth in a matter of seconds to accomplish the will of the conjurer (possibly explaining how vox can use him for errands and such), and hes not a particularly evil demon. he's also a prince of hell, so that makes his and stolas' relation even closer since there seems to be only 7 of them in the ars goetia grimore

HAHAHA awww bonding time with pentious and vox!!! i still stand by the fact that i think vox should get to say kys to at least ONE other person in the swap au. i simply believe my wife should be allowed to cyberbully whoever he wants <3 also i imagine lucifer would show up to help with fortifications too, no? i just cant see him leaving his daughter and friend alone to deal with the fallout while not leaving the palace... though admittedly, i am a bit biased from what electric mentioned.

You can see Vegas is a bit confused (and a lot of frustrated) but still he doesn't grasp what's in front of him.

gosh. this episode was Mad and Tasty and Dark and what i've been WAITING for. like. YES to people who are Mafias and Criminals finally being selfish and manipulative and ruthless and clinical and having a moment of vulnerability and then having a mask behind the mask.

vegas gave me ALL of that. and if that was just a Hint of what vegas could be like with porsche first (no mattee how bad i am, if its for the person i love, i'll never hurt his feelings.), then tawan (mary me), then the devotion he is going to show pete? the way he is going to worship pete? oh my god.

but yes. this incessant NEED to see vegas CRY. and i mean CRY. SOB. WAIL. when he realises what loss of power and control to pete feels like and how cathartic that is for him. he wants to be a leader and chases after his dad's approval and acceptance of him whilst making sure his little brother remains shielded and lives in a way he didn't. but then pete comes. and pete just lets vegas be, whatever that means. how's vegas Not going to feel something close to BREAKING at that?

and so that torture scene? is the first time they're eye level, looking at each other, seeing each other. head to head. even if pete's tied up, he's still got the same power here as vegas, because pete RUINED whatever vegas had initially planned (again, control, and the lack of it vegas has when it comes to pete), and pete THRIVED in seeing vegas like that. he took pleasure from it. he mocked vegas for it. he laughed in his face about it. he didn't even need to utter a single word. and vegas needs to do something to hit back and counter with. and, guess what, it still didn't work.

and when i tell you i was PACING around my room because FINALLY. we got to see pete!!!!!! he doesnt hesitate to point his gun at vegas or porsche for even a second. he doesnt hesitate when porsche points the gun at him. he doesnt hesitate when he makes his intentions known to kinn, knowing full well that he could die. he doesnt hesitate to laugh at vegas. he doesnt hesitate. and it was so worth it.

and now next week? i honestly cant wait and nor can i even IMAGINE whats in store for us. there's so much they've changed up from the novel, so who knows what's in store!!!!!

personally i interpreted it that way!! i Think thats what was intentionally gone for but sometimes its hard for me to differentiate my personal interpretations of jedidiahs character with the canons actual implications lol . speaking with my own personal interpretations of the text: though i think he had some issues beforehand obviously like i dont think it was The Singular reason why he left (his complex relationship to lucille ((who presumably is also christian since college jedidiah seems pretty sheltered in a very specific way where id be surprised if both of his parents werent christian)) definitely speaks to other reasons why he would be distanced from the faith) ive always gotten the impression that it was Largely due to what happened to sydney - first of all its generally common for religious faith to be shaken after something bad happening to a loved one bc of the feeling of like why would god let this happen to them . and when thats followed up by the shit jedidiah had to do to save sydney and the fact that he had to and is continuing to have to play god and seems to have like . VERY large control of the timeline at the VERY least at camp here and there to an almost deity-like degree and had to do things that he finds so horrifying he cant even Look at sydney or Talk to sydney without being horrified w himself . i cant imagine hed be able to cling to the religious devotion he had after all that . if jeddie hadnt left the faith Before all that (which he doesnt seem to have tho i may be wrong) i just dont see any way that all that shit wouldnt have ripped him from it

Corpse Husband x Reader (Gender Neutral)

Summary: The colors are not always seen but rather felt. Just like Y/N feels the colors through their best friend and boyfriend Corpse. That’s how they realize that what they can’t see is the most beautiful and genuine feeling in the world. The feeling of knowing something and someone so deeply.

Requested by my dear friend Lulu, who you might have known as greenieofshield. Unfortunately she’ll never get to read this fic and I’ll never forgive myself for not putting it out sooner but I’ll also never forgive the universe for being so cruel as to take her away so early. She was one of the best people I’ve ever met, always so full of optimism, always there to brighten up my day and make me smile. Always so strong and brave, never falling victim to the hate she received despite not being deserving of it. The world lost an angel the day she died and I as well as so many other people will forever miss her.

For what it’s worth, Y/N has never asked people to describe the colors to them. In their eyes that seemed like the equivalent of poorly patching up a wound: they could hear thousands upon thousands of descriptions of each color and still wouldn’t be able to imagine it. The descriptions would only make that worse to them. So to avoid feeling even more like they’re missing out they never asked.

However, that doesn’t mean they haven’t developed their own way to ‘visualize’ and imagine colors throughout the years. They’ve tried loads of different methods, few of which stuck around and not for long either. That is exactly why they frequently used to tell their friends: “You can’t paint me a rainbow with black and white and shades of grey and expect me not to feel like I’m missing out on something. Paint me the gloomy sky on a rainy day and only then we’ll be even cause you’re seeing the same greys I am.”

Little did they know how drastically their logic was about to change in the following years.

Speaking of said following years - they met Corpse who became one of their best friends in practically no time. And within just a few months of that friendship’s blossoming, a romance sparked. A romance their friends would jokingly refer to as ‘romance of a lifetime’. Maybe it was said jokingly but Lord knows they weren’t wrong in saying so because the two were completely head over heels for one another -s till are to this day - and never shied away from showing it.

Y/N and Corpse met through Rae who Y/N was staying with while on a little vacation to Los Angeles. To be even more specific here, the two met through a game of Among Us, the game responsible for many wonderful friendships since its release.

“Guys, guys, guys.“ Y/N said after sparking up a bickering session for falsely accusing ‘blue‘ of faking a task in Navigation during the final round for the day, “Here’s a little rule of thumb for whenever we play together again: don’t trust me if I accuse a color instead of a name.“ It’s safe to say that statement rose a few eyebrows in the Discord call, the confusion serving as amusement to them before they explained themself, “Oh, why that is? Hm, I don’t know, maybe cause I’m colorblind.”

Rae who was in on the scheme the whole time and was struggling to hold in her laughter finally snapped while the rest of the players were left processing the information that had been dropped on them.

“But you practically kicked our ass every single round?!“ Corpse said, amazement and confusion in his tone.

“Expect the unexpected from this schemer, take it from someone who’s known them for a decade now.“ Rae said, winking at her friend from across the room. Not failing to notice the blush on their cheeks while doing so though.

“Corpse, are you calling me a good liar?“ They poked a stick at him teasingly, desperately avoiding Rae’s gaze which widened the second she realized why her friend was so flustered by Corpse’s remark.

“Practically a con artist.“ He replied to them with a laugh, earning one from them in return.

And so they practically conned him into falling in love with them with their quick wit, sarcasm and cuteness. If someone is to ask Corpse if he expected to fall for Y/N, he’d probably say yes.

“They were like a magnet the moment they entered the lobby and started talking.“ He said once on a live stream in response to a question he received in the chat regarding Y/N, “It wasn’t hard at all, falling for them. What took me a while was realizing it. While I was referring to them as ‘best friend’ all my friends were rolling their eyes and going ‘Sure, bud.’ Just took me a bit to realize why.”

Luckily, it didn’t take him too long to grasp what his heart was actually screaming at him. Good thing they came to terms with it so soon too, otherwise they would’ve driven their friends insane.

Anyway, enough about what happened and what could’ve happened under one circumstance or another, what matters is the ‘here and now’ of their relationship. And trust me when I say it has never been better and it keeps getting better every day.

The beauty of what those two have is in the tiny every day things that they do for each other, the good morning texts even though the other person in probably just in the kitchen making breakfast while the other cannot find it in them to get out of bed; or it’s laced within the calls between them when neither of them are home or at least one of them is out and about, busy with a task they’ve probably been putting off for far too long. Don’t get me wrong though, the romantic gestures aren’t rare either. Random gifts are exchanged by them on regular intervals but one consistent and super romantic gesture that repeats a few times every year (of the two years they’ve been dating) is Corpse giving Y/N a bouquet of flowers.

A detail Y/N couldn’t help but take notice of was the fact that the bouquet was always made up of the same flowers with only small changes to the arrangement of them and maybe some tiny ones added too. Unfortunately, they aren’t artificial so they couldn’t have kept them thought they wish they could’ve. That being said, it goes without saying that those flowers mean the world to Y/N, the gesture actually - they know flowers are a common gift to give but anything they receive from Corpse is so special and makes them feel like the only person who’s ever received such a gift.

And so they got curious, they had to ask. They had to ask the question they never thought they’d actively ask considering their view of the topic. But they still did.

“Hey Corpse.“ Y/N spoke up out of the blue, breaking the silence that had fallen over them while they watched the movie they were only partially interested in given how exhausted they both were from devoting themselves to their respective tasks and responsibilities throughout the last few days.

Corpse hummed in response, the arm wrapped around their waist doing a little motion as if encouraging them to continue, his gaze immediately traveling down to his partner.

“What color are the flowers?“ They asked, gazing at the bouquet - a gift they had received from him for their birthday a few days prior - in the vase on the dining table.

They waited a few seconds but when they didn’t hear nor feel any sort of response from him they couldn’t help but look up at him. Upon doing so, they saw his small smile as his eyes too remained on the bouquet. “They’re black and white.“ He replied eventually, “Black roses and white daffodils.“ His gaze wandered away from the vase and down to meet theirs, “I don’t want you to think I’m seeing them in their ‘full beauty’ while you only see them in black and white. You are seeing them in their full beauty and not missing out on anything. They are absolutely beautiful black and white as they are.“

As a response to his answer, Y/N couldn’t suppress the growing smile on their face no matter how hard they tried. So they didn’t try at all, they let the smile lighten up their face before speaking up: “You’re a wonder, Corpse.” They said, pushing themself as upright as they could to be able to kiss his cheek. “However, you’re wrong.” They say when they pull away, smirking up at his confused expression, “My world was black and white until you came into it. You’re all the colors, Corpse. Your love’s red, joy’s yellow, sadness blue, chaos green. Love red. You’re all the colors and out of all the people that have tried to describe to me how they look, you have managed to do that just perfectly without even trying.”

Little did they know that’s exactly what he thinks of them - their world is black and white because all the colors live within them. Because they are all the colors.

And maybe they both are, seeing as how they came into each other’s lives exactly like the rainbow after the pouring rain.

Osomatsu is the “eliminating” type of yandere. He will do anything to make sure his competition is not around, he will attack or even go as far as to kill his rivals. If he’s pushed too far he would go as far as to hurt you, or kidnap you. He would even go as far as to kill you if driven mad enough. The only reason he would do this is if you show any kinda hatred or just disliking towards him, or are dating // showing an interest in somebody. He would try really hard to get you to trust him and be close to him, so he’d be really upset if you didn’t like him for some reason because of all the effort he’s put in for you to like him.

“Oh… so you are alive!” He smiles, wiping the blood off his face. Whos blood? Yours? His? Or somebody else’s? That is the question isn’t it.

“That’s good!” He giggles, “I honestly thought I killed you…” he says, coming close to you and caresses your cheek, you flinch at this action. “Now that wouldn’t be good… would it….?”

Karamatsu is a bit of the dependent type to be honest. He is devoted to you, and only you. You are his entire world and you are all that he thinks about. He cannot imagine a world without you by his side. He is so loving, to the point of it being overbearing. Giving you an unreasonable amount of love letters, flowers, anything to woo you. He is extremely delusional, getting the wrong idea and thinking you being kind to him means you love him. Although he is relatively harmless, if you get him out of his delusions (which is by kissing somebody or just dating somebody and showing an interest in somebody else) he ends up killing the person.

You looked at him, mouth agape. He did what? You may need him to repeat that.

The blood on his hoodie though, the tears rolling down his face, it says enough. He’s telling the truth. He killed your girlfriend, totoko.

“I’m sorry!” He exclaims, “please stay with me still! Don’t leave me! It’s okay right? It’ll be okay! Please don’t leave me! I cant live without you!” He barks out a laugh, tears steaming down his face. He seems more bothered by the idea of you leaving him than the fact he just murdered somebody, but you’re too scared to move as he comes up to you, taking your face in his hands.

“We can still stay together forever my dear! Like we always wanted! Hahaha!”

Choromatsu is the obsessive type of yandere, he always wants to be with you, he wants all of your time to himself. He wants you to be with him and only him, only think of him. He is the type of person to have a shrine of you hidden somewhere, he has pictures of you, there’s red scribbles of everyone else in the picture with you, whether it’s simply scribbles or just “DIE” or “NO” on the faces, your face being circled with hearts on it, he has stolen your sock that he sniffs and sighs happily at. He has become so obsessed though, he needs you by his side always. He’s more than willing to manipulate you into staying with him, and he can be very violent towards others. He isn’t violent towards you, but you have the fear that he could become violent. He tends to monopolize and isolate you from others.

“Who is that person you were talking to?” He glares at you accusingly. “You KNOW how I get when I’m upset…” he says, getting close to your face. “You don’t want anyone else to get hurt do you? Another person dying? Because of you? Is that really what you want?” He asks, and you shake your head no, begging him not to do anything drastic.

He gives you a sweet smile, “good” he says, kissing your cheek. “D’aww! I cant stay mad at you…” he sighs happily, “I love you~”

Ichimatsu is a bit self degrading, believing he is not good enough for his muse. He is extremely suicidal, wondering why he even should exist in a world where he can’t be with you. He ultimately decides if he cannot be with you he will simply die. He guilts you into staying with him, saying “I will kill myself if you leave me” he is extremely jealous as well which will make him extremely violent towards any rivals of his. He’s harmful to even himself, but never to you. He tends to self harm, mainly because he feels he deserves it, but also for your attention. When you pay attention to him it makes him feel so good, even if it’s not the good kind. It makes him feel like you care? Give him too much attention towards the self harm and he might actually go too far and stab himself to death in front of you.

“Good news honey..” Ichimatsu smiles darkly, “I killed that douchebag you wouldn’t shut the hell up about!” He laughs at you stare at him. “Yes.. keep staring at me..” he says in almost a dreamy like state, is that drool coming from his mouth? The moment you look away, he’s quick to say “hey… look at me…” he starts out serious before he lets out a rather maniacal laugh. “There’s so much blood coming out… it’s all for you..!”

He leans in to give you a kiss, you can taste the blood on his mouth and what freaks you out is that you don’t know if it’s his or not. “Lets die together. So we can stay together FOREVER in the afterlife.. we can start with you.. or do you wanna do it at the same time? I have sooo many ideas..”

Jyushimatsu is the type to worship you and be absolutely devoted towards you. He will do whatever you ask of him, he is quite literally your slave. He worships you and he is the self sacrificing type as well, he’s willing to kill himself for you, he’s at your beck and call. However at the same time would kill you too, not because he’s jealous, not on accident, but for the simple fact that he loves you. He is overbearing and is by far one of the worst of them, I feel very bad for you if you have this yandere. There is no reasoning with him, he’s beyond insanity.

He giggles, as you look at him covered in blood. “Well of course I killed him silly!” He says it in almost a bashful manner, “I’ll do anything for you.. even.. killing for you… I wouldn’t mind dying if it’s for you! use me however you want!” He grabs onto your hands, “you can just count on me. You don’t even need anyone else! I love you more than anyone ever could.. since I’m doing so much for you.. could you do one thing for more?”

Your quiet, but nod slowly, you’re too scared to do anything else.

“Can you give me your fingers nails? Toe nails are cool too if with wanna give me them instead.. a strand of your hair too! Ooh maybe even a tooth! I want them so I always have a part of you with me.”

Todomatsu is a stalker. He stalks you on social media and knows an unsettling amount of information about you that you never told him. He’s very clingy and obsessive and he wants to be with you always, and always, and always, AND ALWAYS, AND ALWAYS. He wants you guys to be inseparable, he is the most likely to kidnap you. He would be the type to isolate you from others, and he tries to force you to love him if he thinks you don’t. He is a little bit obsessed as well though, he wants to know everything you do, he wants to know everything about you. He can be violent towards you at times though.

“It hurts?” He asked, as he kicks you to the ground. “That’s your fault! I send you like 70 text messages and you didn’t reply! What about me?! Why didn’t you reply?” He glares at you angrily. “Where were you?! What were you doing?!”

When you don’t answer, he finally stops and inhales sharply, “I wanna stay together forever” he finally says, “you’ll never leave my side. Not again. I’ll make sure of it. You don’t need other people. You have me. You only need me.”

thinking of bkdk in their late 40s when all their friends have already settled down with a family, izuku muses a lil forlornly how he would like to have someone to come home and katsuki just stares him dead in the eyes and says, "marry me then. i wont let you be lonely in that empty apartment."

the thing is bkdk are super successful heroes, they're the ranking no.1 and 2 and everyone knows their name but because izuku put so much effort into his career he never give himself the chance to meet someone and fall in love because the next things he know he's already 48 yrs old and still very single. as soon as he got right out of UA he had put himself right to work and hasn't truly stop since so izuku feels like he misses out on his youth, the flutter of first love, and now he feels like it's too late to grasp that chance again because he's too old to be stumbling around at love BUT here is katsuki suddenly telling izuku to marry him as though that would solve everything, solve izuku's worries and fears that he'll never experience love the way his friends had or knows what it feels to come home to a waiting arms that will comfort him after a hard day at work.

izuku first tries to laugh it off because katsuki cant be serious right?? but katsuki doesn't crack a single smile. "Do i look like im the type to joke about this kind shit to you?" he asks, voice steady and true. it is then that izuku realizes katsuki had meant every word he said.

but izuku still cant wrap his head around why would katsuki want to marry him of all things?? it is because they're both bachelor and wretchedly alone standing at the very top of their career where nobody can touch or hope to nobody can understand them like they do to each other?? izuku thinks that's a very dry reason to marry someone for the sake of convenience and not love at all because even though he'd devoted all his time to saving the world and helping ppl and HE'S OLD NOW but he still earnestly yearn to fall in love the ways all his friends had.

"If you needed company, we don't have to marry each other. I'm here for you always, you know that," izuku offers instead. "We're partners."

katsuki is silent briefly, then, he says, "You think i want to marry because you're convenience?"

Izuku blinks. "is that not it?"

"No," he says, all grave and serious, and for a moment izuku is breathless with realization.

"Oh," izuku replies, looking down at the table like it has all the answer in the world. "how long?"

"Since our third year at UA."

izuku jerks his head up, eyes wide with shock.

"what—I, wait, you can't mean that right?" he shakes his head as he flounders for the right words. they're both almost hitting their 50s now, so if it started in their third year then it would be 30 years of katsuki waiting for him, of pining over izuku and all that time was lost because of it.

katsuki press his lips into a thin line. "I have never lie to you."

"I—I'm not—" izuku flushes, because this wasn't anything he had plan for. who would anyway? no one would ever believe that katsuki has been in love with him for almost 30 years and izuku only found out about it now. even though katsuki has revealed the secret he has been hiding for 3 decades, izuku has no answer for him. he didn't notice katsuki's feelings for this long not because he chose to willfully ignore it but because he has never thought of katsuki in that light and that is the sad truth of it all. katsuki must have realizes that too because he doesn't press for more from izuku.

"i'm sorry," izuku says, mind racing to come up with a proper reply to katsuki's feelings because he deserves that much. "it's not you—"

Katsuki scowls. "shut the fuck up, don't even start that with me."

izuku quickly shuts his mouth, floundering for another reply that with save both of their feelings.

"Six months," katsuki says instead, eyes firm and never once dull since izuku has known him. "give me six months to convince you and if it doesn't work out we can get divorce then."

"you still want to marry me?!" izuku asks in disbelief. "shouldn't we like date first at least? isn't that how normal relationship work?!"

katsuki roll his eyes. "we co-own an agency, you have your toothbrush at my house, and we spent 18hrs out of 24 together almost everyday. our friends joke about us being a married to each other as much as to our work, we're each other's first emergency contact if something were to happen," he continues, straightforward like he's listing their grocery for today, "and i cant ever imagine wanting anyone more than i ever want you."

throughout this strange turn in their conversation, izuku realizes not once has he ever heard katsuki said he loves him but the way katsuki had revealed his unwavering devotion that lasts 3 decades and the dry, bluntness in which he spoken of wanting izuku, it's heavy. this hefty thing that katsuki has carried with him for nearly 3 decades, and in those years what izuku thought katsuki was just disinterest in any romantic connection because not once had izuku seen him look at another person, but it's because he has eyes only for izuku and nobody else.

izuku should have known never to expect anything less then 120% with katsuki because if there's anything that means something to katsuki, he would give it all and then some. it's humbling really, to be loved so fiercely and with such devotion that 3 decades is worth every second of it but izuku doesn't know if he's worth it especially when he's hesitant about his own murky feelings. he loves katsuki undoubtedly. they're partners in more way then one, but he doesn't know if he can love katsuki the way he deserves to be love in return, to return that same level of intensity.

"and what if the six months went by and there's nothing show for it?" izuku mumbles, hands clasp together under the table. i dont want to ruin this friendship of ours, he doesn't say. "what if you get bored with me and realized this isn't something you want now. what happen then?"

"you're stuck with me for life even if we get a divorce. i won't let you ever get rid of me either way," katsuki says, lips twitching with the slightest hint of amusement. "and if you're worry about me getting bored of you, don't. i fucking wont." It’s firm, assured, and completely sincere.

izuku thinks anybody with a half a brain at all would see this admirable man right in front of them with his unwavering affection and devotion that he had nurtured for 3 decades would be half way in love already, but izuku neither race or skip a beat; it remains dull and unmoved. maybe he's really too old to love like this. maybe, it's not that he's too busy to ever search for it like everyone else but because he has all the love for everyone but none ever hold a special place in his heart. for all of katsuki's sharp edges, his feelings burn ever so brightly while izuku has since been numb to his own emotions. to give too much to the world, to his job that he has never let himself fall freely and unconditionally. it's terrifying.

"what if i hurt you instead?" he says, quiet and severe. "what if in the end i couldn't return what you've given me?"

katsuki doesn't answer right away. the air around them tenses, threatening to suffocate them in the waiting silence. then a hand grab his and draws it toward katsuki's chest. "don't fucking underestimate me, idiot. i can and will make you fall in love with me in 6 months. 6 months is more than enough to make you realize what a fucking dumbass you have been the entire time for not taking notice of me while i have been looking at you for almost half of our life," he says with the cocky assurance that propelled him to the no. 2 position and beyond.

for the first time since this exchange had started and taken a strange, strange turn that left him his world shaken to its core, izuku's heart feels lighten. He stifles a giggle. "i still think we should date at least. marriage is maybe jumping the gun a little too soon."

"No." Katsuki's eyes narrow, and he squeezes izuku's hand firmly. "i'm not giving you any chance to escape from this. we can do all the dumb dating things you could ever want but we're getting marry first."

izuku tries to draw his hand back but katsuki remains undeterred. "Kacchan, please," he says. half begging for his hand back and half pleading against his insane idea. who in their right mind would ever marry first then date each other?! That's just not how it work! yet, katsuki is an unmovable fortress against increasing izuku's distress.

"deku," he says, thumb running across izuku's knuckles in a soothing circle, "give me this chance. let me prove it to you that i can do it. take this leap of faith with me and i won't disappoint you. trust me with your heart like you trust me with your life and i promise i will keep it safe."

izuku draws out a long, lingering breath that leaves his head heady with a dawning realization. "o-okay," he finally acquiesces, shaken with the knowledge that his heart suddenly doesn't feel safe at all for the first time in a long time in the hands of the man in front of him. bakugou katsuki is dangerous, but to the tender beat of his heart.

Katsuki's lips stretch upward into a small, precious smile that rarely see the light of day, leaving izuku breathless just for a moment. "we'll go get the marriage license tomorrow."

"tomorrow?!" izuku shrieks.

maybe he has been wrong all along, maybe you're never too old fall in love and experience it for the first time and that sometimes the things that matter the most to you are always worth the wait even if take 3 decades and katsuki always been more patient then people give him credits for.

But it’d be the end of your study session and you’re about to leave and he’s been wondering why it seems like maybe you’re not interested? He can’t tell so he’d just be like, “do you like me, too? Or am I making you uncomfortable? I’ve been waiting for you to let me know how you feel but you really haven’t said anything, so.” AND YOUD JUST BE LOOKING AT HIM LIKE 😳🧍🏻‍♀️ and you’re blushing hard so he’s like ok obviously she likes me? And he would kind of tilt his head in your direction and raise his eyebrows waiting for you to answer, cause he still wants to be sure. And you’d hold your books tighter to your chest and nod so fast. 7. Black Dog - Arlo Parks: ok so this song itself is more intense than for what I’m writing for it and what it inspired me BUT this is really how Tsuki feels when he sees you overworking yourself. He can’t stand to see you stress so much over something, especially if it’s school, and then see you push your own limits in the favor of others. It’d definitely be a day where you come to his house to study but when you guys get there instead of pulling out the stuff from his bag he just sets it down and walks over to you and pulls you into his chest. After holding you for a while, he pulls back and makes you look up at him with his hands on your cheeks and leans down to kiss your forehead. “Are you ok?” It’s such a simple question but it really hits home and it’s one of the first times you guys simultaneously realize how much you care for each other. And you’d just hug him tighter and he decides nap time holds a little priority over studying right now.

8. come out and play - Billie Eilish: as smooth as Tsukishima can be or as clueless as he is, he’s also a shy lover for sure. It will take him a while to be genuinely soft and let his walls down and be vulnerable and tell you how much he cares about you, he try’s to show it as best as he can cause it can be easier than looking into your pretty eyes that make him all nervous and choke on his words while he tries to tell you he loves you. So it’ll take some coaxing and you being patient, but he’ll get there eventually and become more confident with his declarations of love.

Like you’d be playing music in the kitchen while you two are cooking and this song would come on and normally he’s not a person who shows his affection much but this song would just get to him? Like he almost wants to cry??? He just looks at you, and maybe you’re humming a little, he really can’t tell but he doesn’t care cause you’re just so bright and gorgeous and the more he hears the song, the more his heart is starting to swell thinking of you. And so he wouldn’t be able to help himself. He’d just come up behind you and lean down so his head his resting on top of yours and his arms are wrapped around you. He leans down a little farther and presses a soft but long kiss to your cheek and just whispers how he loves you and hugs you tight one more time before going back to his part of cooking dinner; as if that wasn’t the first time he was finally able to tell you that.

Sure, like any couple you guys argue and it can be rough sometimes, problems can arise it’s natural. But Tsukishima would never be the type to say something he doesn’t mean or do anything to ruin the relationship, you’re his person and no matter how much you two argue he’d always be sure you know he loves you and you’re the most important thing to him, and you’re very aware of that.

13. I Think I Like It When It Rains - Willis: ok a little bit of angst! In those difficult moments, sure sometimes Tsuki does wish it was like how it was a while ago when the pining and awkwardness was still there and you would go home after studying and you’d both still be giddy and trying to calm yourselves down. Cause the pining and awkward feelings were easy to solve, but these problems are harder, they’re the ones you solve for the long haul. But once he takes a breather he knows this is so much more important and worth it, and he’s reminded of how much he really loves you.

I CHOOSE YOU - Adam Melchor: you really would be living in Tsukis mind rent free LMAO and while he was all grumpy at first at the fact he even wanted your attention he’s so happy now it’s so cute pls. Not only does he have to keep that ginormous labyrinth of a castle spotless and immaculate at all times and ensure that every event being hosted by the castle is going perfectly without a hitch, but he also has to take care of an overgrown man-child that is also known as the future king of the Devildom

Now, he has to make sure this...mess of a human doesn’t go stir up trouble anywhere?

Barbatos is a calm and collected man, but he’s still a demon; virtues aren’t exactly something they practice 

He would need to down three cups of melancholy coffee and squeeze a stress ball whenever he catches MC in her antics whether it is alone or with someone in tow

Somehow he’s the only one whom MC would find almost impossible to prank

Like she managed to catch Lucifer off guard once (that was her proudest achievement) but BARBATOS???? yeah, it’s like he has a pair of eyes on the back of his head or something

When she’s not up to her daily shenanigans, she would simply opt to help Barbatos out with some of the chores or preparing the treats for a tea party with the student council members and the exchange program, even though he’s mentioned that she should do no such thing

But knowing that this girl is constantly energetic and restless, Barbs agreed to let her help since he would not want to deal with her breaking some priceless antiques or getting herself in trouble with Devildom law again

She helps to remind him that it’s okay to be laidback once in a while and that he doesn’t need to be so uptight all the time

These two have an unusual friendship but it’s only good vibes all around ^^

Before she leaves the Devildom though, he would pretend that she actually managed to startle him with her last grand prank and the look on her face was worth his reputation taking a slight hit

She would 100% reel him in her plans and schemes and NO ONE (except the angels, they have immunity bc they’re babies :] ) would be safe from them

Despite all the fun they would have though, Solomon definitely treasures her as his greatest friend

I imagine life for Solomon would be quite lonely and he appreciates the constant joy and company that MC would provide him

He would definitely fuck a bitch up if someone dares to mess with his bestie 🙄

These two adore each other so much but they would be caught DEAD before they would admit that to each other 🤭

Simeon

When they first met, Simeon was so happy to find a person so devoted to God such as MC

He takes it upon himself to become MC’s guardian angel around the Devildom

He would helicopter them for a while and would (reluctantly) back off if MC finds it a bit suffocating 

(don’t be mean MC, he just cares about u alot that’s all :( )

This man is capital P patient

I mean, that’s a given with him being an angel and all

But seriously,,, one has to be in awe at how calm and collected he is even when MC would pull pranks that would cause a normal person to wanna punch the living daylights out of her

Eventually she would feel bad and stop pulling these pranks on him though, he’s just too sweet and she can’t take advantage of that </3

They would be really close though (along with Luke) because he would frequently invite her to pray the 5 essential prayers together with Luke or read the Qur’an together and it’s just wholesome vibes all around man 🥺

As angels, him and Luke would have such beautiful recitations of the Qur’an and I can picture MC frequently dropping by Purgatory Hall just to listen to him recite the kalimahs with the perfect tajweed (Non-Muslims if you’d like to hear an example, check out Sheikh Mishary reciting Surah al-Kahf, it’s beautiful man 🥺)

He would frequently invite MC and Luke out for walks too and these three would look so domestic together people often mistake them as a little family (much to the brothers’ chagrin and Simeon’s amusement)

Simeon has such a calming presence that he could even tame a chaotic MC down and have her sit still enough, it will be as if she turned into a completely different person

She would definitely try to tone down her chaotic energy around him, but she would NOT hesitate to verbal + cyber bully any demons that dare to bully her child

There’s a lot of Kwazii scenes that I really like, but the 3 right off the top of my head that I cant pick between would be these three moments.

In the movie, Grouber is talking about a mango or something and Kwazii goes, “Arrg enough about the mango! What’s it gotta do with Barnacles and Peso??” In the most dramatic and frustrated way possible XD

The second one, after they discover that Barnacles and Peso are in the caves, Kwazii says this. “Common mateys, we gotta hurry! If I know the Captain as well as I think I do.. he’s not having a great time down there..” With a worried expression. So friggin C U T E

The last one is when the Octonauts have to crawl through a tight passage way to get out of the cave. The Captain is stressing out and nervously says, “I don't think I can make it through there..” Kwazii then swims over and says quietly enough no one else can hear, “Old fear of tight spaces acting up again ey Captain? Don't worry, we’ll go first, then you can follow.” Like, Kwazii is the coolest friend ever. Comforting the Captain without making it seem like he’s babying him or judging him. Friggin love this cat man,

I read this and was thinking “Oh you know? Yeah that’s a pretty good idea. He’d be so worried and just trying to keep his cool and stuff.”

But then I thought “..well wait.. The Captain would most likely keep everybody calm and surly resolve the situation.... hmm.. what would happen if Captain Barnacles went missing instead?”

You see, everyone looks to the captain for guidance. So what happens if he vanishes? Imagine the panic they’d all experience when they realize that they’re on a time limit to find the Captain before his battery dies and he dies from heat stroke.

Kwazii is the Lieutenant, its his job to take over when the Captain is gone, but how would he hold up under that kind of stress? His best friend has been gone for more than 24 hours. The Captain always has a plan, yet Kwazii doesn’t even know where to begin! There’s so many possibilities for angst its crazy! 

Specifically of the water like, sky like, light, soft and pastel variety :}

Hmmm.... let me see.. I imagine since cooking is the Vegimals main job, to not overthrow the competition they wouldn’t participate.

Captain Barnacles would probably want to make his favorite food, Vanilla kelp pudding! Even if he looses the contest, he still wins to him because now he has an entire bowl of pudding to eat! 

Kwazii would probably whip up a Pirate pie for the contest for the same reason the Captain made pudding. Even if he looses, he’s still a winner because he’s got some pie to eat.

Peso would maybe make some cupcakes I think? But with like, very pretty and delicately placed frosting and sprinkles.

Dashi might make kelp kebabs, to everyone's surprise XD.

Tweak might make something that she’d call mud pies, when actually they’re these like cookie shaped chocolate chip fudge brownies.

Shellington would probably make something simple? Like a kind of pasta dish maybe?

Professor Inkling might bake some kelp cakes, but alter the recipe so they’re super fancy looking and packed with more flavor.

In the end I feel like Tweak would take the cake, but everyone is impressed with each others cooking skills and they all get to eat some good food in the end so no one’s complaining. 

Pff XD I remember that episode, poor Captain Barnacles. Peso has no idea what kind of black mailing power he now has over the Captain.

Hey, I don’t blame him. I was just as confused as him the first time I watched that episode XD.

Hmm.. I’m going to assume you meant one headcannon for Dashi, and one for Shellington separately..?

1. Dashi is the only crew member that can correctly use chopsticks.

2. When Shellington gets very stressed or scared, the only thing that really calms him down is to have someone hold his hand. It has everything to do with being an otter. Everyone knows this, no one judges him for it, and anyone offers their hand to him when they can see that he is stressing out.

Boyfriend Headcanons

Includes: Sakusa, Komori, Shirabu, Atsumu

Warnings: none - just pure fluff :) oh wait some swearing!!

✗ you have to be clean!! There’s no two ways about this. Of course you dont have to be super clean freak germaphobe!! (Extra points if you are because cleaning is his passion and he hates germs and he would love to share that with you)

✗ it takes a while for him to become affectionate, he has to ‘get used to your germs’ and all. When you are at home he will love to cuddle with you!! He particularly loves it when you are clean sitting in his lap while watching a movie! Because!! Then he can wrap his arms around you and rest his head on yours!

✗ one of his favourite dates is going shopping together... to the chemist. He likes having you with him as he looks through all the hygiene and sanitary items, often asks you ‘does this smell good’ because baby wants to be clean AND smell good. He will smell like a fresh bouquet if you so wish. Afterwards he’ll take you out to eat and pay for your food as a thank you.

✗ he’s in no way, shape or form fond of PDA. It makes him uncomfortable and he prefers to keep his private life, private. And you completely respect that!! The most he will go is the occasional hand holding or giving you his vbc jacket.

✗ he will make it clear he’s in a relationship though! He doesnt want his fan girls to continue coming on to him so he will tell them bluntly, it probably went something like this: ‘I am in a relationship with Yn. If you have a problem I dont care. Please stop trying to get in with me from here on out and dont touch Yn otherwise I’ll drown you in bleach.’ Wow isnt he just a charmer.

✗ he doesnt mind if you wear a face mask or not, but be prepared: he will refuse to kiss you until you’ve thoroughly washed your face. He does think your face is cute/pretty/handsome/etc so I think he’d prefer to see it.

✗ i don’t think hes one to be jealous or possessive but doesn’t like it if other people ‘contaminate you with germs’ so he’ll most likely stick around you to defend you from ‘germs’ so i guess he’s pretty protective. But not toxic protective!! He likes it when you come to his games and cheer for him!

✗ Komori is the softest ever! He loves you and he loves affection!!!! Bb is kinda clingy but its okay because he’s adorable and you love his hugs! He loves snuggling with you - face to face, while the both of you talk about anything and everything!

✗ he definitely loves it when you come to his games and he always gives you his jacket to wear! After every game when he sees you waiting for him in the foyer he runs up and hugs you.

✗ he lives to see you smile! Komori really loves when you smile! Please smile for him! But don’t fake it! Fake smiles make him sad! If he ever sees you fake a smile (and he can always tell bcz of how much he loves your smile) he will always make time to speak with you or FaceTime you to ask you how you’re going and if you’re okay. He doesn’t like his bb being sad :’)

✗ Komori really likes cute cliche dates! Sometimes you tease him about it but you can’t deny that he always makes them special - even if they’ve been done a million times before. Picnic dates and star gazing dates are a must!

✗ when it comes to PDA, he’s not necessarily against or for it, hes just kinda like eh whatever works in the moment. However!! Holding hands everywhere is a must.

✗ I don’t see him as the type to get jealous and/or possessive. He gives vibes that are full of positivity, so I feel like in a relationship with him he’s very trusting and understanding. However, if someone is flirting with you and making you uncomfortable he will intervene. Unless!! You have it under control, if so then he’ll just come up and stand next to you with a passive aggressive smile directed at the dude. If you don’t have it under control, he will come up and put a hand on your shoulder to reassure you and then he will talk to the guy. He starts off by asking a random question like ‘how’s the weather’ or whatever, and this usually confuses the guy because ‘???? Who’s this dude and why’s he talking to me so friendly’ anywho, he chats the dude’s ears off and the dude ends up leaving.

✗ he cant cook but can make he finest 2min noodles. Eat his noodles. He’ll be happy.

✗ being real, if youre gonna date atsumu you have to have to be able to take a joke. Please dont be offended. It’s just that he likes to joke around with you and 10/10 will point to something ugly and say ‘that’s you babe.’ He doesn’t do it to be mean!!! No!! He just sucks shit at expressing himself and therefore he teases you to show his affection verbally. He often says ‘I love ya’ to remind you because he knows words can hurt. He does his best to not be too mean :,) and if you ever look slightly sad because of something he said he will flick the switch and turn into a really loving bf. Hah simp.

✗ he wont admit it but he loves affection. Pda is a yes for him. Loves it when you sit in his lap or hold is hand or jump onto his back. He thinks you’re the cutest. You wear his jacket. Before and after games he gives you a sweet kiss on the lips, nothing steamy though thats for back home. He hugs you as a stress release. I know that sounds weird but he finds you to be so comforting and when he engulfs you in a hug and he can smell your shampoo/perfume he just feels really safe and loved and all round lucky to have you.

✗ Oh I know a lot of people have this hc about him only allowing you to cheer for him during his serves but I dont vibe with that. He likes it silent to concentrate so even if you were special (which you are) he doesnt want that game concentration interrupted, which you of course respect and understand. However as soon as his serves are up and its actual game time please cheer as loud as you want because he loves it when you cheer him and his boys team on!!

✗ mans is jealous, he doesnt like it when others get too comfy comfy with you. Like he knows you have other friends and he gets that but he does not! And I repeat - does not! Like it if they (esp opposite gender) get super touchy with you because in his head: ‘why get touchy with her/him/them when I’m literally right here???’ Oh yeah and he hates it when some weirdo is tryna chat you up, so to combat that he would definitely make his presence known. In scenario 1: ‘hey buddy can I have my girl/boy/sIo for a sec? Yeah thanks mate.’ Then he proceeds to kiss you harshly on the lips. Scenario 2: he walks up to the guy/girl/person and puts a hand on the both of yours shoulder. ‘She’s/he’s/they’re taken buddy, scram it.’ And the weirdo gets intimidated by that passive aggressive smile and the strong hand on his shoulder so they usually run away with a scowl right after they’re told.

✗ hes only soft for you behind closed doors sorry bb. Mans is a big simp. Even if he wont show it. I headcanon that he has a horse and knows how to ride it so sometimes he rides it to your house and calls you to come outside. You go outside and there he is, sitting on this large beast with a picnic basket, ‘hey babes wanna have a picnic?’ Ngl you’re surprised every time but go anyways. Omg imagine one day when youre at the picnic he’s all like ‘hey babes wanna see a trick?’ And youre like, ‘yeah sure’ so he gets on the horse and does idk something but then gets bucked off. Omg that shit would be hysterical. Brb gonna write a short scenario on this.

✗ wow ok I love him so much

✗ ok ok so we know Shirabu is smart (example in the timeskip) so he often stays up really really late to work on assignments and to study which means he can get very tired and burnt out esp when he has to do volleyball on top of all that. This is where you come in, you often visit his dorms (Shiratorizawa has dorms so thats the base for shirabu) and when you visit his dorms you bring lots of food - healthy foods to get his brain working but also snack foods to help him relax and release some of that good ol’ serotonin.

✗ when he studies but also feels like cuddling you find yourself facing him while sitting in his lap. You gotta move though cause he’s still working so you end up just cuddling into him like a koala. When he doesnt have to write/is busy reading he will wrap his arms around you and place a kiss to your forehead. He loves you omg, thinks you’re the cutest thing ever. IN FACT his home screen is a picture of you asleep, cuddling him in his lap. The only reason you’re not his lock screen is bc he has a rep to keep up in the club and cant have brats like goshiki knowing he can be soft or tendou teasing him for being ‘simp.’

✗ like atsumu, you gotta be able to take a joke because mans is a salt stick and loves teasing/roasting you. Ofc you do it back. Sometimes you team up and tease Kawanishi together. Please save Kawanishi, he does not want to deal with either of you, bb is tired from volleyball.

✗ shirabu knows he may not be the ideal boyfriend - he’s hopelessly devoted to the volleyball club and studies the life out of himself, so he often finds himself apologising to you and feeling incredibly guilty that he may have to cancel your date every so often. You make sure to remind him that its okay, that you knew what you were getting into when you started dating him and that you admire that he’s so determined and such a hardworker and that you love him. Every time you tell him he almost cries, he loves you.

✗ to make up for lost dates he will invite you to his dorm, or he’ll go to yours and the both of you will spend the day cuddling and snacking on food while watching movies. For him this is like killing two birds with one stone because 1) he gets to relax and have some downtime and 2) he gets to spend that time with you and just being in your presence relaxes him so much. Hhhhh hes so precious omg i love him. Oh and he’ll make sure to tell you that he loves you - it took a while for him to say it because he wanted it to mean something.

✗ when it comes to pda he’s not the most comfortable about it, yknow he just prefers to keep that to himself. But!! Will 100% hold your hand if you ask. Sometimes you don’t even have to ask! He just really likes holding your hand.

✗ now is he jealous or possessive? Yes he is jealous, i cant describe why. He just gives those vibes. I think it’s because he has a lot of self doubt and insecurities about being a good boyfriend that he feels like someone could just sweep you away. He’s self aware so he knows it’s his insecurities talking so he does his best to not believe and act on them but sometimes when someone is deliberately flirting and knows you have a bf he will be big mad. Full on walks up to the guy with an intimidating aura and roasts him. Ngl you find it funny because he’s spitting out insults faster than you could say supercalifragi- something i forgot how to spell it lol.
