Hello friends, acquaintances, complete strangers, and foes, I have posted the first chapter of my new Sw/Sh fanfic!

This one’s set post-canon, where Hop is sent on a month-long survey of the Glimwood Tangle and forced to spend a month living with Bede and Opal in the process! Lots of exploration of Hop & Bede’s relationship as it was established in the base game, lots of Hop and Bede exploring their new roles as Professor’s Assistant & Gym Leader respectively, lots of the boys and their mentors, and an extra helping of self-indulgent Postwickshipping (Hop/Gloria). 

Special mention for me excessively googling British slang and probably being cringefail somewhere as a result, and excessive text messaging. 

Will try to update once a week, but... we’ll see.

After Hop's first successful presentation of his field work on the Isle of Armor, he's put on a new assignment by Professor Sonia: a month-long, intensive survey of the Glimwood Tangle. But when that survey necessitates staying with a certain stuck-up, white-haired gym leader and his peculiar predecessor Opal, things start to go more than a little awry, as old wounds open and old feuds re-ignite. In order to make it through the month, Hop and Bede are going to have to work something out, even if it means that both of them need to assess a lot of thoughts and feelings they'd much rather leave on the backburner. -- Or, Hop is about to have the (second) worst month of his life.

So I noticed that at first Bede has no shine on his eyes and seemed cruel in my impression at the early battles then Ma'am Opal happened and Bede's kinda glowing for me and he got the shine in his eyes (especially in rare trainer card💓😩) and I'm like "omg honey son you are so pretty/handsome ilysm development for reals 💞" at the near end battles with him *breathes in and out* Sorry for the rant huhu I kinda want to talk this out thank you uwu

NOOO UR RIGHT !!! HIS EYES GET SPARKLY WHEN HE BECOMES THE FAIRY GYM LEADER !!!!!! its so cute and a small touch like that really makes a difference.... bede baby !!!! he is finally happy !!!
