first thought is "adorable", second thought is "that looks horrible for your neck!" so he very slowly and carefully adjusts to lie back if possible so you can lie on his chest instead, wrapping you in his arms ("to keep you warm", he claims, which is partly true) and hoping you can't hear that his heart is about beating out of his chest 🥺 totally intertwines your fingers together and inadvertently causes you to nap way longer than you'd ever expected because he's so warm and comfortable!!

wakes you up getting excited and almost crying over cute you are. since he stirred you anyway he opts for picking you up to take you somewhere you can lie down properly if it's possible, wrapping you tightly in his arms and a warm blanket and telling you to rest well. relishes in cuddly time with you til he falls asleep too lol

wants to chide you for not getting enough rest before anything, but honestly just enjoys the feeling of vulnerability? like you sleeping on him, in his opinion, is such a big display of trust it warms his heart. moves an arm around your waist so you can be comfier and sneaks tiny kisses on your face when he's sure you're deep enough asleep it won't wake you :')

rigid as a board, forgets to even breathe, just sits a flusteted blushing mess and occasionally steals glances at your peaceful face. you probably fell asleep watching him gaming or something but the moment he felt your head on him he just ceased all movement. god forbid another member comes in cuz they're gonna be met with frantic whispered panic lmaooo

also a blushing mess, and when you wake up he tries to tease you but he's too flustered to do so all too successfully. he also takes the opportunity to tell you cheesy stuff he'd cringe too hard at saying while you were awake. you probably fell asleep on him while watching him write/produce because he goes for so long, and it initially makes him feel a bit guilty, but from there he realises he likes you sleeping on him and tries to bring you to the studio late more often (he isn't discreet, you start bringing a big blanket lol)

also wakes you up getting too excited, but when you grumble and wrap your arms around him to snuggle up further he just coos at you and gives you apology kisses all over your face and head. cradles your face in his warm hands because he figures it provides you better support. you feel like a very pampered cat, especially with the way he pets your hair with his other hand :')

either screams or almost screams. so ridiculously smiley about it. the members make memes about it and clown him about it for months (cough or years in jihoon's case cough) cuz they'd never heard him make such a sound before. can't resist wrapping both his arms around you, and if he's able he'll try to maneuver around the back of you to have you lie back on his chest. he figures it's comfier because he's broad (he's right).

another teasy member but he's probably teasing you while you're literally asleep just to distract himself from how flustered he is. takes a bunch of horrible photos of you from unflattering angles to send you later but accidentally falls asleep on your shoulder a week later and sees you get your revenge. spends the whole time wondering if he could reach your lips for a lil kiss but is too scared of waking you up to try 😭

first time he probably deadass draws random shit on your face with a pen as if he's a child and takes ridiculous photos. fears for his life every single day from then and legitimately starts struggling to fall asleep knowing eventually you'll get him back lmaooo 😭 otherwise likes to stroke his fingers through your hair and let you rest, maybe even taking the opportunity to whisper cheesy stuff he's too self conscious to tell you when you're awake 🥺 occasionally you hear them, but you keep them to yourself, for his pride and all :)

falls asleep on you too, pretty much immediately. the members have multiple photos of you sleeping on his shoulder and him sleeping with his cheek nuzzled into your hair. at some point your hands found each others' and it's cute but it also reminds you of those couple's remains from like pompeii or something where they're clinging onto each other 😭 he probably drooled in your hair accidentally too but you were both surprisingly comfortable for positions that looked so awful on the neck 💞 next time you try to aim for his chest instead though.

so torn between being shy and making fun of you that he ends up doing nothing but flailing a bit, red faced and unequivocally in love with you. he appreciates how homely it feels, how comfortable and natural (even if you do make his heart flutter and probably always will lol) and how much you trust him in sleeping on him like that. eventually settles for trying to lie you against him in a comfier position so you don't get neck cramp and ends up caged in a koala hold. he's not complaining.

Steve goes pink again. “You know,” he says almost ruefully, “I really think I’m gonna need an updated definition of that.”

Bucky frowns. “Of what? Punk?”

Steve nods.

“Oh, um.” Bucky thinks for a moment. “It’s actually a really cool music and social movement from the 70s, but then it kind of also came to mean social outcast or burnout or something, so the way I was using it was more of a silly derogatory thing.”

Steve nods, his eyebrows quirk. “Right, okay, I’ll take that.”

“Wait,” Bucky frowns, taking in Steve’s still tinted cheeks. “What did it used to mean?”

Steve’s blush deepens impossibly, crawling from his ears down over his chiseled cheekbones and under his collar. Before Bucky can stop it, the thought crosses his mind that he wants to see how far down it goes.

“It, uh-” Steve hesitates, swallows. “Back in the 30s it used to mean, like, a usually small, effiminate queer man.”

The words take a moment to register in Bucky’s brain, but when they do, his eyes just about bulge out of his face. “What?”

Steve just gives him another rueful, embarrassed look, one that turns amused as Bucky begins to dissolve into laughter.

“I- Oh my God,” Bucky breathes through laughter. “Oh God. I was- I’ve been calling Captain America a twink this entire time. Holy shit.”

a life update from me — i’ve been having the time of my life (minus some burnout from work but we won’t talk about that because it still pays the bills very well and then some), and i have long trips to japan with my friend and to australia to visit ti and steph coming up 💕 i have a fun work trip and a keshi concert with my friends including moon next month !! and i have two music festivals lined up for the summer already !!! dpr is coming to hitc nyc and i’m so sad that i’ll be out of the country when it happens but fingers crossed they come for the LA one ! and my friend just texted me a couple days ago about another music festival she randomly got tickets to so vegas here we gooo 🥳 and possibly a second vegas trip too that my other friend brought up today ??? also the usual weekend trips to LA, of course 🤩 omg and i saw jisoo irl up close at their concert and she is beautiful, and i can’t wait for her solo 🥹🫶🏻🫶🏻 and i’m currently blonde 🤧 my hair is really going through it like i first dyed it all lavender, then silver, then blonde, then i chopped it mid length and dyed it pink, then pastel pink, now it’s blonde, and it’ll be rose gold in two weeks !!! also i made like $5k from my investments and stocks, and i’m so incredibly proud of myself even though i know it’s not much compared to others :’) and i bought a chanel bag to celebrate my career milestone when i was promoted last year and got a big raise and bonus !!!! 🥳 i found the one i wanted after checking shops over the span of five months in like 8 cities and 5 countries djjdjkskd OH and i still hang out with els and she is still very much in l*ve with taeyong and jaehyun 💞 also blind boxes, specifically sanrio ones, have taken a chokehold on me thanks to els, and i’m still playing genshin so gacha addiction go brrr
