サバ Saba - Mackerel
I got to try mackerel for the first time I visited Japan and it tastes so different from the freshwater fish we have in Austria. I really like it! It goes great with rice! Unfortunately, mackerels are very hard to get in Austria. Do you eat fish?

I'm working on a full package design for these, but thought I'd go ahead and share the main designs! Heavily inspired by older printing processes and '60s children's illustration.
I'm going to show them as fruit leathers, but they'd also work really well for some other product categories I think... maybe a seltzer water or gummy candy.
The illustrations were made in Fresco, where I also drew the lettering before transferring to Illustrator to create vectors for each one. I'm planning on making a whole process write-up (/lite tutorial) later on, but if you have any questions about these in the meantime, ask away!
