Hello guys! I haw officially published my first short story ever! I haw officially changed my fanfiction into its own thing. Its bitesize perfect for something to read during your daily commute. Here's the synopsis:

In the Kingdom of Sina, where magic intertwines with mortal ingenuity, Vernon, ‘the Loyal dog of Sina’ and commander of the special forces, faces the daunting challenge of managing the relations between Fae and human. A difficult task on its own, made only more troublesome by the crowned ‘Fox prince’ of the Aos Sidhe, who wishes for nothing more than to hunt the human down and make him his trophy… In more ways than one. Unfortunately for the Sidhe prince, his prey knew of the twisted laws and word games of his kin, providing a challenge the likes of which the elf had not seen since millennia ago, when the ancient hero of Sina scarred his face and froze his heart.

my gamedev work; i'm one of the leads over at Cetacity, where we make narrative driven games with strong visual direction, typically in the suspense/horror genre, where i was the lead writer and programmer for 'beary the hatchet'. i also release games outside of cetacity, mostly for game jams. you can check out all my games over HERE!

This year, after spending 2023 barely getting the tablet out of my backpacks, I decided to draw a year-long tribute to myself in the form of 12 drawings remaking 12 drawings I did in the past, each per month.

More information about that will be under the cut! I tend to ramble, so... yeah. TL;DR I remade an illust done for an old-ass fanfic of mine and now it's modern and following one of my fic verses again haha. For those who know my work/AO3 account, it's Glass Cannon Blues.

I missed drawing those three, it had been literal years since I last did!

January gets 2012, my first year actually knowing what the hell I was doing in a digital art program (back then, an outdated pirated copy of SAI). For it, I chose one pictured I've always meant to go back to, but only now gave myself time to actually redraw. This is "Parallel Lyra no Matryoshka!":

As you can tell, yeah, this is Hachi's Matryoshka lol, which is still a banger with a peak aesthetic to this day. I made this drawing based on my first actual fanfiction, Parallel Lyra, thus why it's Ethan, Lyra and Kris on this pic, as they were the protags of that fic.

This version is slightly different since I slightly modernized the concept? Ethan, Lyra and Kris are now their GCB counterparts, which is why their clothes have different colours. What's funny is that ParaLyra!Ethan and Lyra already had Meganium and Typholosion respectively (that was waaaaay before Masters was even conceptualized lol), but for some reason Ethan had red and Lyra green as signatures colours? Okay. Anyway, now they've got the colour maching their starters' types.

I need to get back to GCB man.

Capitalism is such a nightmare I don't want to work I have to write fanfiction

I purposely get up at 4AM to write in the early mornings cause it's the only time I can and I cannot go through life without putting my blorbos in scenarios that would make life so poinless

Anyway I'll try to get out the next chapter of WAYI either today or tommorow (probably tommorow though) and I think that HFC is going to be updated on Sunday as planned but it might not have illustations this time. I will try to make at least one though!

I wanted to just say that since HFC is a seasonal fic, it will be taking priority over WAYI. I will still update both to the best of my ability cause I really care about both stories, but yeah. Capitalism is kicking my ass and I have been employed for just a few days but I miss unemployment dearly. And even if I work I can barely afford life and things just suck, generally.

I also wanted to take time to thank everyone who interacts with my fics, especially the commenters! Your words always lift me up. You have no idea how much it means to me that I created something other people enjoy.
