14. Meruem

Okay. There’s a reason why Meruem is at the last list. He’s an ant. He’s not even fully human FML. Can’t believe people wanna fuck this teenaged mutant ninja ant. Can’t even say those people are a furry because this ant has no fur. It’s a no for me. 

13. Illumi

The Illumi simps are gonna hack me for having him too low. I find him cute and has really nice hair that can be for shampoo ads... but his eyes... it covers 70% of his face. It’s guppy eyes. It’s like he wore those coloured contact lenses that enlarges the eyes. 

12. Shalnark

OKay. Shalnark is cute. He’s really one of the most good looking guys in the series. However, I don’t know why but his personality is kinda “ehh”. He’s a little psycho who controls people with his phone, but somehow his personality is overshadowed by a lot of extreme characters with Hisoka. Also, I try not to get too attached to him because of what happens in the current arc. 

11. Kite

Okay. This is weird but... I find Kite more attracted when he’s a red-headed female ant right now. Okay. I know I went all like “MERUEM ISNT EVEN HUMAN” but female Kite LOOKS human. She has freckles and all that. It’s real cute. But I’d say he’s a little lower because he doesn’t really have that “oomph” personality so-

10. Pariston

Now, talk about a character with FABULOUS presentation of himself. Pariston shows himself off with extravagance. NOW, that’s a personality. He’s like one of those celebs that are just so extra like Lady Gaga that it’s amazing. I know he’s underrated in the simping world, but he’s essentially kinda like Hisoka (who has a big simping fandom), only he prefers to play with people’s minds rather than fight people. 

9. Tserriednich

You might be wondering, why the fuck is he here? Okay, first of all, he reminds me of Hannibal who is by the way, charming. And yes I mean it in the Mads Mikkelsen AND the Anthony Hopkins way. Makes me wanna his Clarice but I’d rather have Theta have that spot. Secondly, he’s a prince so being his bride is literally a dream come true. Thirdly, yeh, Tserriednich is actually very handsome. Nice blond hair and that facial beard. 

8. Gon

He’s quite low on the tier because I had always seen him as a cute green mini-Ging. Personality-wise, he’s really sweet and I can see a lot of girls liking him because he knows how to treat women respectfully. He can even handle the crazy ones like Palm. His alpha side came out during the Chimera Ant arc and his adult form is hella attractive. 

Jokes aside, this character is really amazing as an MC. It’s sad that he gets overshadowed but I believe he’s a pretty unique shounen MC because most of the time, a shounen MC doesn’t kill or has a pretty much black-and-white morality. Gon Freecss breaks that stereotype and he’s truly appreciated. 

7. Leorio 

Listen to me. This man is supposed to be the type of man you’re supposed to marry. Doctor, loyal, caring and funny. This man is the total package. I think the reason why he’s a little lower in my simp tier is because well... he’s the type of guy that I will go for in reality. In fiction, that’s where all my crushes for crazy guys should be. My simp tier is based on my heart, not brain. 

6. Killua

Okay. I was down bad for Killua when I was younger. DOWN BAD. So down bad that it was scary. I sort of got over him now. But what can you do? Killua is simped by a lot of teenaged girls or women who had a crush on him since the beginning of time. He’s fiercely loyal, has white hair and pretty blue eyes, is a fun mixture of mischief and seriousness. He’s the type of guy you can count on to get out of trouble and one to always treasure you. I do think that if I ever meet Killua though, that he’d bully me to oblivion.

5. Hisoka

I kinda do understand Hisoka stans, but at the same time, I do not get them. Like him or not, he’s a very flamboyant character. He stands out of the crowd and he just have that unexplained charisma. 

He’s actually a really well-written character. He’s the balancing factor in the narrative of HxH. He’s like the joker in the deck of cards. Back to my simp tier, he’s very attractive ESPECIALLY with his hair down. There’s a certain aura that is addictive about him that I can’t pin-point. And for that, he earns my top 5 spot.

4. Feitan

I swear. This simping phenomenon actually manifested from Hiei. Yes, Feitan’s character blueprint, Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho. (The real OGs will know that Hiei is the character blueprint, not Levi). I know a lot of people compare him to Levi but let me explain why Levi and Feitan are alike: it’s because their character blueprint is Hiei. 

Anyway, Hiei is HOT. And to me, the hxh equivalent is Feitan, with a huge addition of sadism and emo-ness. Okay, that makes it even hotter. 

I have read some Feitan/Reader on AO3 and BOI. I enjoyed reading certain stuff that I never thought I would enjoy. I read a fic about Reader-chan getting whipped and basically all sorts of BDSM and OMG it’s heaven.

3. Chrollo

At first, I didn’t really care about Chrollo until he wore that tuxedo and let his hair down (Is it just me or a lot of hxh boys look good with their hair down?). HE LOOKS SO GODLY HOLY FUCK.

I’m 100% sure that his character blueprint for the hair-down is Koenma. He also gives me Tuxedo Mask vibes. Overall, such chivalry and handsomeness all in one man. Not to mention, that sexy sexy voice when he recites his fortune-telling. I would say he has the sexiest voice among all hxh guys. He is just that HOT and charismatic. I wanna see where he hid that Spider tattoo and scratch his back. 

2. Ging

Okay. Ging is hardly simp by girls. And I do not understand why?? He is motherfucking attractive. Even now. GAWD. I love him.

I think my attraction to him pre-started because he looks and acts SO much like my childhood crush Yusuke Urameshi from Yu Yu Hakusho. I know he’s an asshat but he’s a CHARMING asshat. Yeap, I said it. He is actually highly intelligent and just acts like a total haggard because he can. 

It’s not just when he’s young. I STILL think he’s hot even in his 30s. He’s not that old for me to me honest. I don’t care if he’s a decade older than me because I think that’s the appeal of it. I

It’s kinda sad that he’s not that popular because I need some Ging/Reader smut content. Like, I envisioned a smut fic where the reader is like in her 20s and is strangely attracted to Ging. He’s wildly confused over this but he’s seriously considering of tapping it because his old ass haven’t had any action lately. illumi slips into bed and cuddles up with reader and starts to think about their future together

 It was still dark out when illumi got home and decided to slip in through the bedroom window. There she was, sprawled out on the on the bed covered by the sheets that were thin enough that illumi could tell she was naked underneath. He moved across the room quietly making his way to the bed. He sat on the edge just watching her. He was resisting the urge to kiss her and wake her up. Illumi knew she often had trouble sleeping; she had woken up numerous times over the nights they had spent together screaming and petrified because of her nightmares. No matter how concerned he was, he knew better than to ask what they were about, but he always made sure to comfort her until she fell back into a blissful sleep. He always offered to use acupuncture to help her relax and she rarely let him; she wasn't very fond of it. Mostly because she was never the type to accept help.

              Illumi began to play with her hair lightly for about half an hour until the sun began to rise. Slight shades of pink and orange began to fill the sky, but it didn't even compare to the beauty he was already admiring. He was eager for her to wake up but he knew she needed to get her rest. Eventually he decided to act on his selfish desire and grabbed her hair and pulled it lightly so she would be facing him.

"mmmm....hisoka?" she said sleepily

                Illumi's heart shattered and a million thoughts of betrayal ran through his head. His head began to throb and he was feeling a pain he couldn't begin to describe. Hisoka? Why hisoka? Has he been seeing her while i was gone? Has he been in this bed with her? Our bed? Unconsciously his grip on her hair had tightened.

                 "ow! relax ilu, i was just messing with you!"  She closed the gap between their lips and kissed him lightly. "i've been awake for a little while now, i just wanted to tease you after you pulled my hair!"

                   She was already starting to regret her little joke, it was too cruel. If she had thought it through a little more she'd have realized it wasn't a good idea. Illumi was already the possessive type and the last thing she wanted to do was plant a seed of doubt in his head. It would make him resent hisoka, but maybe that could benefit her...? No, that would be manipulative and she wasn't manipulate...at least not anymore. Not with him.  She laid a few more light kisses on his lips then turned back around.

"aren't you going to get up now?", he said nudging her

"no way! i'm staying in bed all day"

                      illumi groaned and pouted. He wasn't the type to stay in all day being lazy and he hardly ever slept. She smirked and pushed her body up against illumi's chest. She knew he wasn't exactly happy about her plan for the day but he would give in to her wishes like always. she curled up into a ball and he put her arms around her. It made her feel small and delicate like a flower, like she could almost be vulnerable and let her guard down. This was a rare feeling in her life. She always wanted to to be as close to him as possible. He had the softest skin and slender muscles that she loved to feel wrapped around her. He also had the most addictive body scent. In all honesty, illumi completely flooded her senses and took over all of her thoughts. She was always at peace when she was being intimate with him, it all just felt so right. She felt like this was home, illumi was her home.   Of course she would never admit any of this to him but she was sure he already knew.

                     After a few moments, she was sound asleep and illumi wouldn't dare move. He knew she always slept best in his arms and he had already been away for a little more than a week now. He had been on a business trip. Well...business trip was the most pleasant way of phrasing it. He knew that she had killed many people and it wasn't anything that made her uncomfortable but he hated the fact that she knew of such dark things. He wished he could protect her from all of it. As he watched her sleep, he thought about his feelings for her. His all-consuming love for her. He spent every minute of the day with her on his mind; he even made himself sick worrying about her when she wasn't around. Illumi knew she was more than capable of taking care of herself, but that still didn't stop him from worrying. He wanted to spend every day watching over her. He desperately wished he could make every decision for her and control her every move. That would be the only way he could possibly ensure her safety and stop feeling so anxious. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible considering the way she reacted when he simply asked to put a tracking device on her. She was furious and he couldn't comprehend why, they had a fight that dragged on for days until he finally apologized.

         Illumi was trying to be less controlling because it wasn't good for their relationship but he couldn't help himself. It was the only way he knew how to express his love. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with her and he hoped she felt the same. This was the first time illumi had felt something so intense for someone...more like the first time he had ever really felt something. She was the light in his life and there was no way he could let her go, he had already spent his life living in darkness and he refused to go back. he was planning on asking for her hand in marriage soon and he would take her to his family home. She would be much safer there, but ultimately it was up to her whether she wants to move or not. Illumi hoped she would make the right decision on her own, but if she didn't he'd simply have to make it for her.

        The door opened flooding the room with light and a head popped in. Both illumi and the girl shot up on high alert to face the threat.

"ohhhh what do we have here? hehe Ilu you never told me you were such a ladies man", the man said in a teasing manner

"hisoka get out!! i'm trying to get some rest"

"oh yes, i completely forgot i had made the arrangement to meet with you today. You needed my help with a task?" Illumi slightly tilted his head to side in a curious manner

"you forgot..? oh i see. obviously your plaything has been keeping your mind occupied" hisoka smirked. He laid his mischievous yellow eyes on the girl and she began to realize just how exposed she was

"oh i'm sorry did you not hear me? i sAID GET THE FUCK OUT HISOKA!!! AND YOU TOO ILLUMI" the girl's aura flared and the men knew she was serious and hurried out before she decided to attack.

              She had met hisoka a few years earlier in her arena fighting days, but they never really got along well. He always managed to push her buttons and get on her nerves. Back then she had only gone to fight to earn a little extra pocket change and cure her extreme case of boredom and emptiness. At that point in her life wandering aimlessly looking for anything that would satisfy her and  make her forget, it didn't matter where her search took her. She was already skilled at nen and was proficient in each category; this allowed her to make it to floor 200 pretty easily. That's where she met the stupid, devious clown. She would never admit it but her battles with him taught her a lot and were extremely beneficial. She was able to improve her nen and find her speciality as a conjurer. The girl is able to conjure up a red dragon made of nen that can be used as a vicious offense and an effective defense. She named it "Shini" as a reference to the god of death which proved to be a very fitting name.

          She was a little angry at illumi for not backing her up and making hisoka leave the room but she knew hisoka was a good friend of ilu's even though he often denied having friends because "assassins have no use for friends". last time she checked assassins don't have any use for girlfriends either but here we are. She began to wonder what hisoka could possibly need Ilu for and why he failed to mention it to her. It seemed like her plan of keeping him in bed with her all day had already been foiled and her curiosity kept her up anyway so she wondered if she could go along with them. As if he read her mind hisoka opened the door

"you know...we might really benefit from your help"

Almost faster than he could react she grabbed one of illumi's pins on the bedside table and threw it directly at his head. Hisoka closed the door just in time and it barely missed him.

"I'll be ready in a minute", she sighed

Her lazy day with Ilu was just going to have to wait.

so, Chrollo would actually read quite a lot about autism, because: 1. He likes reading and 2. He cares about you

he'd always speak gently and calmly to you and try to keep you close to him, especially when you're outside and if he knows that loud noises and crowds may bother you and seem like too much

Chrollo always leaves your things alone and where you put them because he's seen how upset you were when someone sat in your usual seat on the bus when you went on a date and he had to ask the person to move so you could sit down peacefully (thankfully, he didn't have to try intimidating them or anything more drastic, this time at least)

if you're ever upset about something and he wants to comfort you, he always, and I mean always asks if he can touch you or come closer to you and depending on your answer, he'll do exactly as you say to help you feel better

even if you don't want him to hug or even come close to you, Chrollo's always willing to talk to you to better understand what caused you to feel this way and help you better

he will always make time to go to therapy with you no matter what and always wants what's best for you and your well-being

will always admire your memory, especially after seeing you gather several things that he's stolen and laid out to examine them (only telling you to be careful and not hurt yourself), only to see you come back after quite a few minutes and putting them exactly where they had been

Chrollo and the Troupe always take care of you and learn on the way and with your help and explanations on how to better help you

he always brings you presents and always looks for the best doctors, therapists and medicine if you ever need any

hell, Chrollo would probably even steal the moon for you (he'd try, at least)

Hisoka

Hisoka would be a bit weird because he's never had to confront with something like this before

but that's only in the beginning

our colourful magician will definitely read about autism and ask you about it, particularly after you got upset because someone insulted you that day and you refused to let him touch you

so he just sat somewhere farther away from you and played with his cards while talking with you in a much quieter voice than usual (that's reserved just for you) about whatever you wanted

also, he killed that person when he asked you what they looked like and you told him everything you could remember

just like Chrollo and even Illumi, he'll do his best to take care of you and your needs, whether you need something in particular or just another doctor's opinion on a new treatment

he's using Bungee Gum to keep you close by, even if you don't feel it, after you left the house one day and came back several hours later without Hisoka knowing where you were (he panicked, even more, when he saw that you left your phone on the couch)

but he literally felt like a weight was off his shoulders when he saw you unharmed, saying that you were bored since he left on some business in town

one of the few times when he hugged you and it was so quick and surprising you couldn't even complain

calmly told you that next time, call him, no matter what, because he'll answer anytime you call

Hisoka never gets angry when it comes to you, no matter how infuriating it might be for other people who are just too narrow-minded to understand that it's not your fault

it's part of you and he cares about you as a whole

also, fuck those people, he'll be right back he says as he kisses your forehead and draws out a few cards

Illumi

again, another weird one in the beginning, but it's Illumi, what did you expect?

always asks you if he ever wants to understand better what autism means and what it entails, especially in your case, because you know yourself best

will definitely look for the best doctors and therapists in the world for you

no one is allowed to say anything negative to you about your autism (or anything, for that matter), not even his family, mostly because they respect you and they know that you're strong enough because you are yourself and not only accepted that, but made Illumi fall for you too

you'll always have whatever you want and need, no matter what and no matter what the price is

always asks you how you're feeling, no matter what time of the day it is or even if you're not together at that moment and you're on the phone

since he is pretty honest and doesn't really joke around, you can rest assured that you'll always know what Illumi says without fearing that you misunderstood something

I have a feeling that you'll, at one point, meet Alluka and get along with her the best, even with the risk of Nanika coming out to play

but, surprisingly, she'll always treat you nicely and never ask for much if you ever wish for something

Illumi is slightly paranoid that something might happen to you, but you know that there's nothing to worry about

because of this, Killua will most probably also like you a lot and become your friend, which would mean you hanging out with him, Illumi and Gon, maybe even Kurapika and Leorio sometimes

may ask, also maybe prompted by Killua, subtly, to ask Leorio about advice and whatnot if he ever feels as if he needs to know more

you just need to know that you'll always have Illumi

and everyone else who managed to see what an amazing person you are and become your friends, by your side, supporting and loving you

and also that no one will ever mess with you unless they want to deal with that large amount of bloodlust

Sure!  I actually already did some for Hisoka and Pariston on my old blog, but for the sake of convenience, I’ll just repost them here (No, I’m not stealing someone else’s HCs!  I’m just reposting).  If you’ve already read those HCs on my other blog and want more, please ask ^^  TW: narcissistic, abusive behavior ahead.  If any of you are being treated this way by another person, get away ASAP!

Yandere HCs: Trash Quartet Edition

Hisoka

Okay so it’s actually very unlikely for the clown to become a true yandere because let’s face it, he’s probably never going to be able to obsess over and “love” a single person enough for things to develop to that point.

However, if Hisoka has decided that he really, really wants to ruin someone (ie: kill, break, maim, possess totally) then it’s possible he’ll get a bit obsessive.  Now don’t get me wrong: he’s still going to go off and do his own thing.  He’ll fuck, kiss, and kill whoever he wants.  Sometimes he might even forget about you for a bit.  But he always comes back to “play,” and god help anyone who gets in his way.

Hisoka won’t really care if this “toy” of his does their own thing for a while, but he would want your ruination to be reserved for him.  Imagine his obsession with Gon and crank that up to 11.

Yandere!(ish) Hisoka manages to be even more covered in blood than usual.

Stalking.  So much stalking.

Even though his end goal is to ruin you, Hisoka can act quite… pleasant around you sometimes.  Lots of teasing, flirting… some creepy allusions to what he wants to do to you.

So here’s the thing: Hisoka might not be planning on ruining you right NOW, but some mental torture is still on the table.  If he sees someone seriously flirting with you?  Consider that person dead.  Hisoka will straight up kill someone horribly in front of you, and then revel in your fear and revulsion.

He might even make a few halfhearted attempts to kill you right then and there just to watch you squirm.

You’d better believe his dick is hard the whole time.  “Seeing you scared like this is so delicious.”

Pariston

That whole spiel about wanting to hurt the things he loves should give you enough of an idea of what Pariston is capable of.

Okay so Yandere!Pariston happens gradually, at least as far as you’re concerned.  He starts out being so… nice.  And generous.  He’s always around to lend a helping hand.  Always smiling.  Always giving you compliments.  When he asks you out, you feel like you’ve won the boyfriend lottery.  

You’re so enraptured by his charm that you don’t notice how far apart you’ve gotten from your friends, or how little you call your family.  Sure, you gave up your career, but that was only after Pariston assured you that he’d take care of you!

It starts slowly, so you don’t really notice how Pariston keeps really close tabs on where you go, who you talk to.  He likes to do things like pick out your outfits and accessories, he chooses your perfume.  Soon you’ve become a perfect specimen of everything that Pariston wants.

Pariston will manipulate and straight up gaslight you when you start to realize that what he’s doing isn’t okay… and you’d better believe that he’s doing all those hurtful things on purpose.  But of course, Pariston will tell you that you’re being ridiculous- of course he wasn’t flirting with his coworker just now.  You must be imagining the scent of someone else’s perfume on his clothes.  How dare you think so lowly of him?

By the time you realize what’s going on, it’s too late.  Pariston has isolated you from everyone.  You have no friends, no money, no career.  He makes sure you know it, too, and he tells you in his mellifluous voice while smiling widely.

The scary thing about Pariston is, you never know when he’s really happy or angry with you, or if he’s just trying to get a reaction out of you for the fun of it.  He has you on your toes constantly.

Is he coming on to you, or threatening you?  You can never be sure.

Want to leave him?  Go ahead and try.  See what happens.

Chrollo

Chrollo is kind of a weird type of yandere.  He’s not really going to want you to be close by all the time.  He’s a criminal, after all.  You’d probably just slow him down.  But as soon as he gets back, you’d better make yourself available to him.  Friends? Other engagements?  Forget them.  Sure, the troupe will always come first in his mind.  But he believes that as far you’re concerned, he should be your priority.

Chrollo essentially sees you as a toy that he can play with as he likes, but he doesn’t want anyone else to play with you either.

It takes a LONG time for his yandere side to come out though.  On the surface, he seemed pretty normal at first.  You might not even have known that he’s essentially a mass murderer.  He was nice, sweet, and caring for the longest time!  Once you realize what he is, it’s far too late.  He’s figured out all your greatest fears, your hopes, dreams, what makes you tick.  You’re entirely in his control.

If he asks you a question about what you’ve been up to while he’s been away, answer truthfully.  He might be genuinely curious... but it could also be a test.  Tread carefully.

He can be so sickly sweet and romantic when he wants to be.  Is it genuine?  Is it a lie?  You’ll never know, but it does seem as though he turns on the charm when he wants something. 

Are you his partner or a hostage?  The line between the two is exceptionally thin and blurry.

Chrollo believes that you are destined to be together, so no matter how many times you reject him, or how many times you run away, he will bring you back.  He’s not in a rush to do so either... after all, you’re meant to be together (in his eyes, anyway).  

So basically, you might think you’ve seen the last of him and start getting comfortable with your new life.  Maybe you have a job.  Friends.  A new lover perhaps.  Things will be going really, really well... until out of nowhere Chrollo appears and takes all of that away from you.

You can tell him you hate him as much as you want, he won’t listen.  You can tell him how happy you were without him.  That won’t matter.  In Chrollo’s mind, he knows you could never be happy without him.

Chrollo has a way of getting you to apologize for things you should never have to apologize for, and he has made you see his forgiveness as some kind of panacea for all your pain.  

Once he’s made you feel completely psychologically (and perhaps physically) dependent on him, Chrollo will use his absence as a punishment/means of control.  He will ghost you for weeks.  Maybe even months.  He knows this destroys you, but he doesn’t care.  Doesn’t absence make the heart grow fonder?

Illumi

Illumi is the most straightforward yandere here.  He doesn’t really play many games with you; he’s made it perfectly clear that you are his and his alone.  Why is that so difficult for you to understand?  Do you need to be reminded?

Illumi is not above using his needles on you to bend you to his will, but he doesn’t want you to be a shell of a human.  At least, not yet.  That’s only as a last resort.  He’d rather you be devoted to him of your own free will (and perhaps with a little bit of... extra convincing) but if you remain stubborn, then, well...

He doesn’t see a difference between you doing as he says of your own volition and you obeying him because you’re too terrified of the consequences.  It’s all the same to him.

He wants babies.  All the babies.  Illumi is obsessed with carrying on the Zoldyck line, so if you have womb, you will be expected to use it.  Of course Illumi will see this as a way of binding you to him even more.

Did someone upset you?  Consider them dead.  Illumi won’t understand why you’re upset by him killing them, though.

Illumi does, in fact, understand human emotions.  He’s just not great at expressing them.  So instead of normal, healthy, romantic love you get Illumi’s twisted approximation of it.  He’s isolating you from all your friends and family because surely that’s what love is, right?

If you ever tell him no, or tell him that you don’t want to see him, or that you want to do something that he’s forbidden, he’ll just stare at you with those dead eyes of his and ask “why?”  And then you’ll be at a loss for words, and eventually you’ll end up doing what he says.

Illumi sees you as his property, plain and simple.  However, he doesn’t see how this is a bad thing.  Really, he doesn’t.  In his mind, you’re living in a mansion, you don’t have to do any work if you don’t want to, and you have his undivided attention and devotion.  What more could you want?

As Jareth, the Goblin King said: “I ask for so little.  Just fear me, love me, do as I say and I will be your slave.”

My Illumi Zoldyck Headcanons

Once again, because I accidentally deleted my post, and now I have to rewrite it from memory alone.

If you don't sympathize with dear Illumi, then you probably shouldn't read this because this is about to be me being soft, sad, and protective as fuck over my babie Illu.

So... these are headcanons that have been building up since I started Hunter x Hunter 14 years ago, back when I was 9 and I had the biggest crush on Illumi and Hisoka (yes, they creeped me out, but I still had a big phat crush).

I've been watching HxH reactions the past two months and I don't understand how people feel so bad for Killua and Alluka for what they went through but don't realize the other children went through the same, and how Illumi probably went through worse to turn out like he is. I refuse to believe Illumi was born as a perfect, obedient, murder doll.

So what I believe in:

• Illumi was heir for, at least, 10 years until Killua was born and Zeno and Silva saw more Zoldyck in a newborn baby than in sweet Illumi, who had too much Meteor City slums in his blood. I refuse to believe that Killua was chosen as heir solely on "potential" alone, what kind of potential does a baby have? Illumi was too dark for Zeno's taste.

• Dear Illumi was an only child for five years until Milluki was born. He had no one to comfort him, no brothers to rely on. He was basically a test child for Zeno and Silva, Kikyo probably didn't have much say on Illumi's upbringing. He was tortured, beaten, and punished until all was left was a perfect submissive and obedient murder doll.

• How many childish things were denied to him? Were his soft toys taken from him when he was dropped in Heaven's Arena and Milluki was born? Did he come back to a bedroom that was as alien as the new toddler in the house? Did he miss his plushies and his baby blanket? Did he come to a room that suddenly was bigger than him? Was all the softness taken from Illumi, and instead given heaviness in return? Was he smacked for crying? Did Silva break every bone in his little fingers when he tried to hold hands after he turned six?

• Did the butlers ever try to help Illumi like they did Killua? Did they turn a blind eye to the quiet child with the big black eyes? Was Tsubone's dislike for Kikyo-sama so great that it extended to lonely, sweet Ilumi who resembled his mother with his dark hair and dark eyes? Did she see so much Meteor Slums in him that she decided he wasn't worth more than trash? Did she ignore him when sweet Illumi's lip trembled and his eyes shone like onyx with unshed tears because it was better for him to "cry it out", or did she go to Silva to inform him, until all the tears were beaten out of Illumi again and again until he learnt to jam needles into the back of his head so he couldn't feel anything anymore?

• Ten years old Illumi who would play with five years old Milluki, who would look at him warmly and would make Illumi's lips twitch into what he no longer remembered was a smile. Illumi who snuck candies and snacks that weren't even poisoned to Millu after his training, who would get him soft toys, and games to play with, until Silva decided Illumi was too soft and spoiling Milluki too much and made him take over Milluki's torture training. Milluki who loved his "kind aniki" even after he stopped bringing him treats, even when he would whip him because Illumi came back bruised like a plum the first time he ever refused to do something. Illumi who later on gave Killua chocobos, and brought dolls and makeup for Kalluto who had a penchant for girls things, because no one had ever thought of bending the rules for Illumi even if they all did for his brothers.

• Did he go through training none of the other children went through? Was he forced through "seduction training" at the tender age of thirteen? Small, delicate Illumi with bite marks on his small neck and rope burn on his wrists, did Silva think it was too much after Illumi was so averse to touch and his eyes were so blank they seemed to swallow all the light? Did Kikyo say no more, not the other children, Illumi is the only one I will give to you to break? Did they ever notice the way Illumi's mind would wander, leaving behind a corpse? Illumi, so eager-to-please and wanting so bad to be loved by a father that didn't like him, that he would ask for seconds when he slapped him, that would press his forehead to the ground in forgiveness when he killed one of his special tutors before they even touched him?

• Illumi who is half out of his mind with fear all the time because which punishment will it be this time? What did his brothers do now, that Illumi has to take the blame for? What transgression did Illumi make this time? What will Kikyo take offense at now that the only thing that will calm her is raking her talons through her eldest's skin? Illumi takes job after job after job, because he loves his family so much but Kukuroo mountain is the setting to almost all his nightmares. Illumi who is so terrified because he takes punishment for mistakes he didn't even commit that he does not allow space for imperfection in his brothers because he doesn't want them to be punished too.

• Illumi, age fourteen, not even blinking as he was told he was no longer heir, Killua age four grabbing at his mother's skirt as his aniki bowed at his father's feet apologizing for not being good enough. Illumi understood the decision, he was not special, he could tell, no one had ever bothered with him as a child, the butlers never bent the rules for him like they did for Killua, his parents were not lenient with him like they were with Killua, and grandfather Zeno did not spoil. Illumi wasn't even jealous, he understood he was not special, he had been a weird, stupid, and ugly child, he wouldn't have looked at himself either. So he takes care and loves Killua over anything else because that's what he was told to do. That was his new purpose.

• He's fifteen and at a job when he meets Hisoka Morow. Illumi doesn't know it yet, but the man with golden eyes is the only one that will go back for him always, even when he doesn't ask, even when he doesn't want him to, Illumi can't have friends but he wishes for Hisoka, wishes he could have him.

• Sweet Illumi at age eighteen breaks under Hisoka in a way he has never done before, breaks in a way so vulnerable, so soft, he cries through it, and god, Illumi has never felt this loved before.

• Illumi is twenty two and coming back to the mansion on Kukuroo mountain after a job when he's informed Killua ran away. It's not fair, Illumi thinks. It's not fair because now it's Illumi who's being punished for his selfish little brother. Milluki is angry, Killua stabbed him, and didn't even think of the consequences of his actions, Killua never does. Killua never saw how bruised and bleeding Illumi came back every time any of them broke a rule.

• Illumi brings Killua back but Gon comes back for Killua, and Killua comes back for Alluka.

• Illumi is twenty three finishing a job with Kalluto when their youngest informs him he's not going back with him. Illumi feels rage and betrayal, another selfish little brother. Another one he doesn't fight because Illumi isn't skilled enough not to kill him. Kalluto leaves and Illumi is terrified, because he failed to bring back another of his mother's sons, and the punishment won't be pretty, slaps will not suffice this time.

• Illumi never thought leaving was an option, and it's not fair, because no one ever came back for him, or Milluki, or Kalluto, but at least their youngest was smart enough to leave and join the Ryodan, who would never let anyone come for their youngest spider. Illumi who came back time and time again to this awful house because he loved his family and wanted to keep everyone together. None of his brothers had loved Illumi enough to notice he was as afraid and lonely as all of them.

• Illumi is twenty four when he leaves the horrible mansion on Kukuroo Mountain to live with Hisoka Morow, who loves him. His mother cries, his father doesn't care, Zeno is happy as long as Kikyo is upset, and Milluki... Milluki is internally grateful the clown dared to take the eldest Zoldyck away.

And one of my favorite headcanons:

• Hisoka Morow, Glam Gas city born, a nobody magician with a taste for violence and blood, met Illumi Zoldyck at nineteen years old and knew he had to keep the fifteen year old murder doll. He knew at first glance there was no one more beautiful, and no one worth more than dear, sweet Illumi. Hisoka would keep his sweetheart even if he had to fight all the Zoldycks and their butlers, he would even kill them all, if Illumi didn't love them. It took Hisoka almost a decade to take him away from the dreadful house with eyes on the walls and torture chambers, but they both found a love so great it made all the suffering worth it.

So these were my headcanons that were only reinforced by okayantigone on AO3. Her fanfics are masterpieces, and I wish they got way more attention that they have. I recommend my absolute favorites HisoIllu stories: children running through, asbestos in the walls, the home that awaits you, and yesterday's cherry pits. Three of those are Illumi centric and one is Hisoka centrict.

i predict that hisoka will show up in this upcoming zoldyk arc somewhere bc illumis gonna be in it (i assume) and theyre dating. also hisoka is a central character so itd make sense for him to show up in the second major arc. tho tbh this could end up being completely false and i wouldnt be that shocked lmao

i think leorio is gonna get Big Sad someday bc hes like, so normal compared to the other MCs, and also hes suuuuch a bleeding heart (i love him....) so i feel like thats gonna lead to some sadness for him once his friends start doing crazy shit or w/e

i think that illumi has hypnosis powers or something, even just based on design alone. it could defs be for aesthetic (character design in hxh is wild), but his eyes look noticeably different from any other characters. also he was doing some freaky shit to killua. also i held this prediction before seeing the part where this is brought up so we’ll see if its right lmao 

as for this upcoming arc -  ruth and i are wondering if itll be similar to the vinsmoke drama in one piece - character goes back to abusive family, squad goes to rescue them...and then character refuses to be recused. w/sanji it was partially bc the vinsmokes threatened to kill zeff, his TRUE dad, but i predict in this case it could be more like the zoldyks saying ‘look killua these 3 weirdos showed up looking for you, convince them to leave or we’ll kill them’ and killua will be like, oh shit bc like.....think abt it. the vinsmokes targeted zeff (and not the strawhats) bc they knew they could easily kill him. same goes here, i assume - a family of trained assassins vs Good Good Fishing Rod Smell-Power Boy (who hasnt thrown a single punch yet), Lanky Dr Man With A Switchblade We Havent Seen Him Use Onscreen, and Mx 2 Wooden Sticks, Bloodlust, and Arachnophobia - 3 For 1 Deal! its a no-contest. so thats one thing i could see happening, potentially

I’m going to be trying to re-upload all the audio tracks to Google Drive, since Tindeck is no longer up, but until then, I hope just the text comments will suffice!! That said, this chapter probably won’t ever have its  audio track, because way back when, when I recorded it, my co-commenter and I had difficulties and we only got either one of us or the other on the recording. At first I tried to splice the tracks together, but GOD it was a major pain. Maybe I’ll try to finish it sometime, but it’s not likely.

Last time, Killua temporarily became a vampire and passed the Hunter Exam, Dracula showed up in the story for some ungodly reason, and Grace finally died (but then got better, regrettably)! In today’s chapter, Grace “saves” a terrible character nobody likes and magically makes them a Good Person, insults Kurapika some more, and sees some questionable photographs!

Without further ado! CHAPTER 22: Fiona X Grace X Kurapika [an unholy triad.]

Hello! Back from a short hiatus break… well not a break, but the school days coming and going by as I at least have a break now. But thankfully, I have time, so time for me to shut up and recap the story. [No, it's time for you to shut up. Period.]Last time on Demonic Love; Killua faced his older brother, Illumi, on a one on one match in the final phase. Grace soon realized that the ex-assassin gained a power from Grace's, aka, Elizabeth's, big brother, Dracula to fight each other. Killua won with flying color. [Only a single color.] After that, Dracula soon remembered something when the two were little children. What will happen next?

Grace's POV

Everyone decided to take another break right now. I don't blame them, but everyone has been mind-boggled by a hell ton of info that not even a demon can handle. [I can't handle it either.] I don't know where the guys are at. I am walking in the halls of this hotel. It is said to be a private one since it belongs to the Hunter's Association. Not many people are around here unless they're Hunters or participants taking the exam, so I can just walk down here with peacefully and quietly. [Who are Peacefully and Quietly?] Hm…? Footsteps…? [It's Peacefully and Quietly walking beside you, you twit. Gosh.] I sense a Nen from one of the Examiners. Who is it? Menchi, Satotz, or Lippo? And there's someone with them as well. Who could it be? I turned on my En [Uh, pretty sure it doesn't function like a light switch.] and to feel around me… it could be another Hunter or something, but the Chairman said that no one else is here for the time being, so who is it? The examiners…? "She has to be around here somewhere." A voice said. By the tone… it's Lippo… but who is he with…? A groan… wait…. I know that high voice. I looked at the corner and saw… it couldn't be. "Oh c'mon! You told me she's-" "FIONA?!" I just… what?! How?! WHY?! [Every time I ask this, I receive no reply. There are no answers. There is only The Void.] She smiled in front of me and ran towards me at full speed. The next thing I knew I was in her embrace… While in Lala Land of my mind, [is that how you describe that emptiness?] many factors are working, but malfunctioning because… WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING HERE?! [don't ask me.] Did Lippo just released her as if nothing?! [A legitimate question.] Did she bailed out for some reason? Can someone tell me what the hell's happening! Ok… I have to admit. It's nice to see her too. I shouldn't let these thoughts run in my head a million miles a minute. I closed my eyes and hugged her. [I'm so angry. THIS ISN'T HOW REFORMING A BAD GUY WORKS. YOU DON'T JUST INSTANTLY BECOME A DIFFERENT PERSON. IT'S A PROCESS.] "Hey!" She soon let go of me and gave me a cheerful smile. But there is a question I would like her to answer though. "I know we just saw each other about two weeks, [I must have missed the two weeks where they hung out] but it seems a ton of things are happening here." Ok… now to load her with the all of the questions… but one at a time… just don't let panic mode kick in. [I keep telling myself that, too.] "Fiona? How did you get out of prison?" She gave a… an evil giggle… don't tell me she hypnotized Lippo. Her evil giggle turned into a gentle smile. "Simple," she said. "I simply gave Lippo treats." [Because he's a dog, I guess.] Three, two, one… anime fall. [UUUUUUUUGH.] Was it really that easy for her to get out there? Geez, some defense on that part. Lippo, you are slowly, but surely, losing all respect from me. What type of prison warden do that? Just let them go after a snack? [No prison warden would! Nothing here makes any sense!! RAAAAGE.] "Alright then…" I sighed. Time for my next question. "How did you knew of the situation at hand? And why are you doing here since you're free?" She looked down. Huh? Her smile is… saddened. Why? "I told her what's happening. Even the fact that you're the vampire princess." Lippo answered. [I forgot he was even here.] Does that mean she's…? "And she wanted to come to your support." [HOW MUCH MORE SUPPORT DOES SHE NEED, HONESTLY???]

That's… Fiona… I knew you were a good person at heart. You just needed to try, right? [Yeah, but apparently Grace never needs to try.] "It's because even though I committed all of those crimes, you still had the will to forgive me. No one would've forgiven me." Tear. [Thanks for that moving description.] Fiona, there's no need to cry. "And when I heard you were a vampire, I wanted to tell you that I will still be there for you!" ["Because I'm terrified of you! Please don't bite me!"] I nodded. "So will I Fiona! So will I!" [She'll be there for herself.] I heard Lippo giggle. I guess Fiona did too [What, giggled?] because we turned to give him a confused look. "I'm going to have a meeting with the others. You can take your time having fun." We looked at each other and then shrugged it off. It was weird to even bother. [WHAT DOES THAT MEAN. I THINK THAT DESCRIBES THIS ENTIRE STORY: IT'S WEIRD TO EVEN BOTHER. YOU DON'T EVEN BOTHER WHEN YOU'RE WRITING IT, AND I SHOULDN'T EVEN BOTHER WITH READING IT.] "So I wanted to ask you about the status with the others." She paused with an awkward face. But then asked, "I mean, any progress in any way?" [What is she even asking here?? Is she asking whether they're still hypnotized or whatever?] What should I tell her? I mean, a lot has happened, and most of them has been overwhelming. Ok. I started after the 50 hour of our waiting. To put it simply, she was shocked. I told her what happened when Kurapika flipped out on me. [I notice you're not mentioning all the times you flipped out on him.] That even shocked me when I saw him go crazy out of nowhere. Then I told her how Gon and Killua wasn't affected by her spell. I saw her eyes widen in astonishment, and she made the same assumption that it's probably because they knew my real name and the others knew of 'Sennosuke', not Grace. [So really, shouldn't it have been the other way around?? Shouldn't Gon and Killua been affected, since they knew her true nature, rather than Leorio and Kurapika, who only knew her pseudonym?? I'm so confused why am I even trying to apply logic here] I rather stick with that name because even though I acknowledge Dracula of being my brother, I want to be the present me. She soon told me about the Nen she uses. She sensed my aura. [WELL DUH SHE SENSES IT. ANYONE WHO USES NEN CAN SENSE OTHERS' AURA.] She wanted me to find clues if I could break it with my Nen, but everyone knows that… well… Nen users know that you need exorcists to rid of Nen, or the person has to have a strong heart. [??? WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING.] But I betted her in about what happened on the Fourth Phase. She was shocked alright. The way I describe the way Kurapika confessed to me… She got excited… [Ew. Please don't mention that.] I mean… teenage school excited [??? "teenage school excited"] when they heard about the girl's first crush. [WHAT GIRL?] To be all honest, I thought she would act a bit more rationally, not this childish… but I'm childish sometimes, so I should shut up. [Yes, you should. Always.] She loaded me with question, after question, after about my feelings. ["After about"?] I did… told her everything. Kurapika has so many good qualities, but all you write about is how obsessed he is with revenge, how he's smart (but not as smart as you) and how in love he is with Leori--I mean Grace.] His knowledge, his passion, his pride (though he can tone it down a bit), [SEE???]  and most of all, the way he's concern for others… but I did mention he did have some bad ones as well… how he closes off everyone around him, his cold heart, [Fuck you Kurapika's heart is warm the "cold" thing is a defensive front] the way he wanted revenge, not telling everyone what's wrong… We were now in the food court. [THIS IS STUPID.] Back in the café "KURAPIKA!?" the vampire jumped out of her seat and now [was no longer capable of] standing [because both her cardboard legs crumpled instantly with no explanation]. By the look on his face, he is a very irritated man right now, seeing the tick mark on his head. [YOU MEAN TIC. A TICK IS A PARASITE.] He glared at her and gave you-better-explain look. [IT'S POINTLESS. THERE ARE NO EXPLANATIONS.] She soon [You know, this has been bothering me for like EVER, but WHY in the world does this author say "he/she/they/whatever soon this-or-that"?? I swear if I took a drink every time I saw that sentence structure I'd end up in the hospital after 3 chapters!!!] glared at him this time, and this time, [YOU JUST SAID THAT.] the red eyes vampire is angry. "That's right, you're such a hothead! Letting your emotions doing all the talking, being a cold-hearted, [You realize those are kind of opposites, right? Being hotheaded and coldhearted?] and not being able to let anyone's emotions get to you!" "And what's wrong with that?!" He yelled, his eyes turning scarlet. [Ooh is he finally going to kill her? :D] Fiona looked at the situation awkwardly, thinking that maybe what she was thinking isn't something to behold of. [HOW are you so bad at putting words into sentences?? And yet your chapters are SO LONG. HOW DO YOU DO IT.] "I never met an insolate vampire in my life!" [SEVERAL THINGS WRONG WITH THIS SENTENCE, SEVERAL JOKES I COULD MAKE.
