I got a little curious and shopped around for IkeSen merch. I ended up finding a lot of interesting items at decent prices. I can’t help but ask myself if I should buy IkeSen merch again? My previous endeavors were all part of my personal collection that I was working to get rid of. This would be more like I found a decently priced bundle or item for the shop. Of course, I will be omitting can badges as much as possible. And, maybe some bromides. I learned that stuff is really hard to sell.

That said, if I do return to selling IkeSen merch, it won’t happen right away. I will definitely have to plan for it accordingly and with time. I also would like to know which warlord to shop for specifically. My own personal collection was mostly Mitsuhide focused. But, I could definitely shop for other warlords this next round.

Even though I said I would no longer buy IkeSen merch for myself, I found Kichou’s stage play shikishi! Thank you so much, Shiro-sensei!!!🙇‍♀️😭😭😭 And to the person who sold this to me, too.💖 It will look lovely next to my Nobunaga one.❤️

I will also be opening up this giveaway to my followers on Instagram as well, so you are more than welcome to join in on the contest over there too! The winners will be selected using a random list generator, and the prize breakdown will be as follows:

Rules for the Contest:

1. You must be one of my followers (new ones are welcome to join!)

2. Anyone is welcome to join, but for those under 18, please ensure you have your guardian’s permission about receiving items prior to joining the contest in case you do win one of the merch items.

3. You must be comfortable and willing to share a shipping address with me as I already own these items and will be shipping them to you directly.

Something kinda interesting is that there was recent merch with a misprint of Motonari's name as Magoichi, up on the top there.

Saika Magoichi was a character from a recent IkeSen stageplay. IIRC, Motonari also began as a stageplay-exclusive character, so maybe we're going to have a new character announcement on the horizon...?

Sometimes I think about all the IkeSen merch I sold, and I sincerely hope they are being looked after and cherished😂 I still have some items I kept like Mitsuhide’s acrylic plates from Smile festival and the Fukuchiyama collab. The big Nobunaga shikishi from his stage play. Mitsuhide’s metal plate with magnet. Also his steampunk acrylic stand. And, a handful of Kichou items like shikishis and bromides. A can badge or two… Oh, and I also still have Mitsuhide’s drama cd, too.💖

[Ikesen Historivia] Kenshin’s signature/sigil (花押 kaou)

It’s actually kind of cute-looking you really need to see it:

I personally usually call the kaou the signature, since the name above it is just a name. Like today, when you're supposed to sign a paperwork, you make the scribbly-looking “signature”, and then you have the plain name written in clear print. 

Anyway, that’s just me.

There were some variations where he makes the kaou look a little bit square-looking, but the curly one is the more commonly seen. Probably because Kenshin eventually... had that signature carved as a stamp so he doesn’t actually have to write it himself all the time...
