people who write triggering content and then dont tag it in any sort of way despite ao3 literally providing a system to tag your triggering content are the fucking worst

#ive not read much ee stuff in a while but i started watching old clips so went on ao3 clicked on a fic at random with no rating #no archive warnings and no hint of sa in the description or tags- it said it was cal potentially cheating #(i dont usually read those sort of fics but thought why not its only 1k) #only scroll to the end accidentally first to see it was about him being drugged and then thinking he had cheated because he couldnt stop wha #happened #write whatever content you like especially because ik some people who write 'darker' 'triggering' fics because it helps them work #to things that have happened to them BUT consider other people are going to read it #consider that other people find the content triggering #and will purposefully avoid this type of content #you literally have to go through the archive warning to publish on the site #i might try and see if they have a tumblr and message them asking them to tag it cause im hoping theey just forgot or misclicked #cause if theyre one of those people who wont tag triggering content because they think it counts as 'spoilers' then fuck them tbh #hopefully not though #hopefully just a mistake but even so #like i can handle that sort of content when its not the only focus/i've been warned about it yknow #if it catches me off guard i just feel weird for hours after #like im struggling to type rn cause my eyesight has been blurry and dizzy ever since #actually wrote something #fucking hell i just checked and you literally have to chose not to have warnings!!! ffs
