So when he thought Fundy was in danger, still being in Manberg, he raced in to save him.

He wanted to have hope, so badly he wanted to have hope, he wanted to be wrong.

To believe that Fundy wasn’t working for Schlatt willingly, and was under force of hand, no matter how cruel that may be.

But alas, things rarely go a revolutionaries way.

And now he was here.

Leaning against a tree, in the middle of no where, a sword, he thinks anyway, jabbed into his stomach.

All because he cared for someone he had seen, and still does see, as his son, more then himself.

Funny ain’t it? He gave him the sword and now, he was the one dying by it.

Still, he couldn’t believe it.

And as his eyes fluttered closed, and his breath stilled and when Wilbur Soot was no more, he still wouldn’t believe it.
