Mukai Speculation: The Hell is Up With the Divine Wood
So. I've been thinking about potential avenues for Mukai's backstory lately. She is one of those characters that is given very little characterization-wise, however her very existence in her role as a Scar is one of those things that give a lot of people pause. Often with the question 'hey uh what's that 11 year old doing there'.
As such, I thought I'd put down some rambles about the matter here!
One common route I've seen taken is that Mukai was kidnapped by Claw, and it makes sense! Claw’s basically got child kidnapping down to a science, and apparently brainwashing to boot.
Though in regards to the later, I was thinking about Shou's comments in the 7th Division Arc immediately after Ishiguro suggests brainwashing the protags. He seems to imply the process dulls an esper's abilities, turning them into trash/mindless slaves. As such, I think it's safe to assume none of the scars are brainwashed in an unnatural sense, but rather succumbed to Claw's ideals due to personal weakness and/or vulnerability
Back to Mukai, if brainwashing wasn't in the picture I'm thinking either she was kidnapped at a young enough age where under Claw's indoctrination her cooperation never was an issue, or she entered the organization a different way. But if she wasn't kidnapped, then how did this kid end up in the role of a Scar? Well, I'm basing my speculation here primarily on this scene from the manga:
Tumblr media
Quite the info, as it both comes out of nowhere and is never mentioned again. Not unheard of especially for the World Domination Arc in the manga, where the readers get so much thrown at them at once. On its own, there's only a bit we can glean from Mukai's reaction: 1. this was a place she had a lot of attachment to, and 2. it was important enough to be noted by Claw and later destroyed after the 7th Division's defection.
The whole 'divine wood' thing brings to mind an element of spirituality, some spot of nature that's deemed as sacred. This brings me further back to the beginning of WD arc. Prior to Toichiro’s speech, the other Division Leaders are kind enough to grant us some exposition on the extent of Claw’s influence:
Tumblr media
So. Religious cults. It paints an interesting, unseen picture of these different organizations vying for a place at the table when Claw takes over the world. Thinking about it, I had an idea--what if Mukai came from one of these cults?
Probably a bit of a stretch, but I could imagine those special tree(s) she talked about being one of the main fixtures of the group's beliefs, something believed to aid those who paid tribute to it(you know how we love tree cults here). A place that Mukai was taught to be special ever since she was little...it's no wonder her powers would resonate with objects made from there, belief's a powerful thing. And if it was involved in Claw, they would certainly have information about all that on record to dispose of it later.
What's more, it seems pretty common for upper level cults to make things a family affair--and child with powers like that would be sure to grab attention. Money's well and good of course, but what better way to make your organization stand out than to give up an offering of power instead? What if Mukai was given to Claw willingly? And Mukai, well, she's not made privy to any of that of course. But with all the praise for her powers and the promise of freedom to use them, plus her family's pride...it's not hard to imagine how she'd be easily entangled like that.
In regards to her post-Claw life, I think this could open up some interesting possibilities for different dynamics and conflicts to say the least. It's of course a horrible thing for a child to be taken from their family, but maybe in that situation there could be a bittersweet reunion in the end. For a child to grow up realizing they were given up as a bargaining chip, one that the other side didn't even end up wanting to keep(marked as damaged goods, remember?)...that has to be a trial on its own.
Obviously I doubt this is what ONE intended to be gleaned from the whole thing--but hey, it's interesting to think about.

like ok i think about green so much. i think about green and red and just. god. canonically for some fucking reason he's 13-14 as viridian's gym leader???????????????????? which. does not match his appearance tbh but its pokemon what the hell do i know. imo he looks like 16. but eh.
like ok my personal timeline is. following canon to an extent also disclaimer this is primarily green pov, sliding pokemas to the side im not putting it here. also btw Leaf does exist here but im gonna focus on green and his pov of Red particularly:
______________________________________________________________
5 years - 10 years: tiny babies :'] they get along great at first. pokemon nerds. Green becomes a bit more astute. u know the usual fandom hc of pokemon oak's not the Greatest Parenting. Like He's Trying but Green being a kid notices and a bunch of misunderstandings and mistakes pile yk? kids notice. and kids also assume. and Green assumed. Green starts to antagonize Red more, shifting him from a friend to a rival. the rivalry is starting to bleed out the friendship. Red notices, but not aware of the familial situation, is just hurt.
10 years old - 11 years: whatever the fuck happened in frlg. insane preteen angst between the two. i like to think they got in a fistfight. poor kids.
11 years - 12 years: red disappears around this time. 12 year old kid learns how to be a caveman. Green goes to school. Kind of mumbles through the process of becoming champion, and losing it in less than an hour. he's like halfway through a process of whatever happened when he gets the opportunity and he pounces. school is paused.
13 years old - 14 years old: Apparently a girl named Leaf took over the old champion position. From pallet town too. Not that he rlly cares. Green only hears rumors about Red being at the top of the mountain, repressed whatever had happened and the whole situation of their relationship, doesn't rlly want to confirm for himself rlly. cause. well. don't ask. shut the fuck up.
15- 17 years old: what the fuck do you mean the rumors are true. Green gets egged on to finally check after confirmation of Ethan/Lyra. By Red's mom, Daisy, Professor Oak, the whole fucking town jesus christ- and. really he shouldn't be here. doesn't really deserve to be here. but he finally sees red. its an awkward as hell 2 years, warming up a cold 5 year old friendship. they don't talk about it.
18 years old: it almost felt like nothing ever happened. for a while. he had visited monthly, bringing supplies, warm wishes. the usual topic had been about the gym, the family, pokemon battles, people in pallet town, safe topics. The only one he's willing to breach is how to get Red off the damn mountain, but as you can clearly read, hasn't been successful. red's grown taller than him. annoying as hell, but his eyes still sparkle when he talks about new pokemon. Green restarts his education, and lucky for him his brain is still sharp enough to catch up. He applies for a university in Kalos.
19 years old: he got in, awesome. he breaks the news to Red. he leaves in five months. Red....doesn't seem happy, but he congratulates Green anyways. on a whim to try to cheer him up, Green makes an shitty joke attempt: come down for a dinner celebration in Pallet Town in a week. Just Red's mom, Red, Daisy, Green, and Professor Oak. No one else, and afterwards we can send you right back to your happy cave home mountain, yeah? Red doesn't respond. The next day however, he agrees. Green doesn't know how the fuck that worked.
The dinner: Green breaks the news to his family and Red's mom, and helps a frantic Daisy prepare the food, where he confesses his doubts over Red's reaction. Daisy suggests that Red may have been used to his company, seeing as he was the only human willing to trek Mount Silver monthly just to see him. Green decides to phone Ethan/Lyra to ask them a favor.
The favor: ok so you've been looking for a challenge right. right ok. i thought you would rebattle Red or something. where the hell are you nowadays. why? oh idk just wondering, cause he just got a new team member and I thought you-no? aw man ok cause I can't go to the mountain for a Long While. He needs a training partner. Ok! thanks, smell ya later.
The Dinner Cont.: Red appears with his mom, and. Green notices the redness around her eyes. Red's hand was carefully clasped around hers. Red's eyes flitted almost anywhere but their faces, but he nods a greeting to Gramps and Daisy on the way in, before sitting at the table. the roast duck was ready. Professor Oak lobs his questions at Red, almost automatically. How was he, his pokemon?? How was Mt. Silver's eco-climate, did you know how the league operated- yadda yada yada yada yada Green began to buzz out in the middle of chewing some potatoes. It wasn't until Oak grasped his shoulders, commenting about Green's recent success could Green finally grasp whatever expression was on Red's face.
outside, the dishes were being washed, and the two friends elected to take a walk.
hesitation wrangles his hands, before signing. "I thought you and Professor Oak weren't getting along?"
a waved hand. "he's better. Helped me with the whole application process, so I had no choice but to kind of had The Talk.
"and?"
"It went shit. we got into another fight, but I think I got something through."
"...."
"He still asks about you though. That didn't change. And, don't worry, I stopped him from trekking over there himself. I think he's getting like, old old. He only holes up in his lab now."
"I thought he still trekked into viridian forest to collect metapod shells."
"He only did that to make sure we didn't somehow end up there. we were seven- you know how we were."
"we could've ended up there."
"HA- no- yeah. yeah actually. I think I would have somehow been dragged by you. You used to chase rattatas for crying out loud. It's a shock how you weren't infected by a disease."
"You told me they were strong."
"what did you think 'strong' meant to a 7 year old?"
"......I thought they meant they were the best."
"....yeah well, me too."
"I'm sorry, Green."
"I should be the one saying that, you asshole."
"...."
"I think I should have said that from the beginning. I'm sorry, Red. I'm so sorry."
The walk ended with a silent beat.
After the Dinner: weird clean up, Green feels like the ice had finally, chipped around Red. He hasn't seen Red's mom kiss her son's forehead for a long time. He hadn't seen Red in his childhood room where they used to play pretend for a long time. He hadn't seen Red smile like that..... in a long time. He takes him back to Mt. Silver.
There are 5 visits left until Kalos.
5 visits left: Red makes a face and comments about Lyra/Ethan's sudden visits again. It's kind of funny, seeing a mildly aghast look on his face as he signs about their new look, team, personality even. His eyes shine as he talks about pokemon he has never seen before, what do you mean there's a different form of slowbro????? He almost looks younger, hands now more lively as he talks strategy with Green.
3 visits left: It's Red's 20th birthday. Green and Lyra/Ethan make a trip this time together. Somehow, through Reds mom magic, the cake stays preserved throughout the entire trip. They munch through strawberry cream cake in silence, occasionally breaking into conversation about the travels, preparations, and global news. Red's eyes stay shiny under the candles until blown out. Green gets him a pokemon egg. What it is, he won't tell Red. Lyra/Ethan gets him a new pokegear. the first number he adds is Green.
2 visits left: Red keeps staring at Green. it's pissing him off. He stares as he cooks, as he rants, when he's tending to his pokemon. Green decides to play cool, talking more and more about the process of moving. He has to license his pokemon, contact his mentors, pack all of his stuff. Kalos apparently has good fashion too, did you know, maybe I could finally install a change to your godawful outfit- Red just keeps staring. The egg remains unhatched, yet the signs tell him that its near time.
1.5 visits left:
Red: The egg hatched.
Green: LMAO did you like it??????
[ a blurry photo is sent, barely depicting the picture of a shiny mimikyu, surrounded by Pikachu and venasaur.]
Green: IS THAT A SHINY???????
Green: RED.
Green: OF FUCKING COURSE.
Red: :)
1 visit left: They sit in silence by the open fire, cozy and in their own world. That is, until a finger jolted Green awake. Red only stared back with a serious expression.
"I think I forgave you a long time ago."
"It took me a while, to connect everything together." Red seemed to be reciting this, almost as if he practiced this speech.
"But I wasn't sure. you never brought it up, which wasn't the best. You weren't....good when we were kids. but you were my friend. You are my rival. "
"I understand, why you were like that. and I saw you again, and it was really good. Really good." Red emphasized.
Green blinked. "like we were kids again?"
Red nodded. "It was back to before then. before the championship. We used to talk more. You didn't avoid me, and we battled like usual. we didn't have to worry about league management, or team rocket. I thought maybe we could start over again."
Green grimaced. "But?"
"You're leaving." Finally, with the wind taken out of him, Red deflated right in front of Green, seemingly worn. He almost looked like a limp balloon. Vaguely, Green wondered what his 11 year old self would thinking looking at him. Probably not a nice thing.
He's not 11 now though.
"You....could come with me?" Green froze under Red's incredulous look. "Look, I was an asshole, still am an asshole times 100 there is no denying that. I'm surprised you even let me on this mountain. I thought you would never talk to me again, and I would totally get it. I would maul myself."
"But I want to start over too. If you could just. think about it. You can't room with me, but given you're a champion I'm pretty sure you're able to get some sort of bonus, but only if you're really really REALLY sure, this cold ass mountain never seemed to lift its grip from you-" A pair of hands swiftly covered Green's mouth, muffling him.
A silence swept over the two, before slowly, Red's hands lifted from Green's lips.
"....Let me think about it." Red signed.
"All the power to you, buddy."
A snort. "Buddy?"
"shut up."
Three days later, Green flew to Kalos.
A year later, Red moved to Kalos.
Post Kalos: so you may have noticed i have not rlly pushed on the romantic agenda. yeah i rev the engines slow here. but point is its not my forte most of the time. either way they do get together inbetween kalos and sm. Green writes a hell of a thesis paper on pokemon research, they still have things to hash out and properly explain, but its a working process. Red gets invited to every champion event ever when he finally cracks out of mt silver. If you ask me who catches feelings first, i'm going to say they both did at the same time cause its funny and they annoyed the hell out of every surrounding colleague with their pining.
Misc
red's mimikyu is a girl, like his pikachu
Leaf and Green meet at Kalos, she helped him make an arrangement when Red was moving over. They became rlly good friends with all three of them!!! :D They also found out they wall lived in pallet town, just never met because Leaf entered school rather than their reckless 10 year old adventures.
Professor Oak's whole issue is saying the wrong things when he means one thing. Which causes Green to snap back and then he gets mad at the disrespect and yaknow. they're slowly getting better though. this also did Numbers of Green's self-esteem.
Red does live with his mom before leaving with Green. They visit Kanto as often as possible.
Green and Red's mom had a talk when Green was about 16, about his whole deal. Green wonders how she could smile at him afterwards. But Red's mom is understanding and observable as her own son. Not to say she isn't letting Green go scot-free though. it's what finally cracks Green to reflect.
"Hey so why didn't Green try to get Red off the mountain when he was visiting over and over again?" I did consider that. I think they were so close to teetering off the edge when they battled it out on Mt. Silver that teenager Green was just deathly afraid of fucking things over and scaring Red away from contacting Pallet town again. It was a slow process for him to get Red curious enough about the outside world to goad him into even considering visiting places.
Does Red Sign? Yes! I'm not completely sure how to properly write it cause i am a Novice. (u are free to give sources, though i'm not a writer I will look through yes yes) He's selectively mute in my eyes!
The Viridian Gym Leader position got shifted a few months before Green moved to Kalos, but Lance has always told Green that the position is open if he rlly wants it.
Lyra/Ethan could be whatever u wish. is lyra and ethan the same person and they have incredible gender and two names? sure. are they separate people on their own and they're just a duo? if u want. go ham.
note: i didn't expect this to be THIS LONG but also forgive me i just vomited word thought and it evolved to semi-writing. I'm a completely beginner at this. this is just my interpretation of the red/green whole spiel cause i had brain worms. if urs is different that is cool!!! rad!!!

Anyway that said I like John Seward. I’ve seen some analyses of his character and they got me thinking.
His asylum is actually really humane for the time, and he views Renfield more as an equal than he’s supposed to in their dynamic. I don’t think anyone else would have let him keep the flies, or the spiders, or the birds. And I don’t think it was normal at the time to view delusions as having logic, or to try to understand what’s happening in his patients’ heads instead of just assuming the worst and containing him.
Also, I relate to the guy. I think he’s autism-coded, at least to the extent that people like us were viewed at the time. His proposal scene was just. Intensely relatable. It’s absolutely shitty and inexcusable how the guy takes out his issues on his patients, but he’s working in a system where that shit is wayyy too easy, and I think it’s the rare person that WON’T abuse power when it’s given to them.
I was in a similar situation as him this past year. I worked at an elementary school: a system essentially designed to contain children under the guise of helping them. And there’s a lot of good people there doing their best to ACTUALLY help, but it’s a bad system, and even good people have bad days, and it’s really easy to get away with yelling at a kid. It’s almost expected; it’s almost the point.
I went there because I was fascinated by kids, but the longer I stayed the more I learned about myself. I viewed the kids as equals, because the level of power I had over them made me feel safe enough to interact with them normally. Meanwhile I was terrified of the teachers and staff who were “supposed” to be my peers. I did my best to listen to the kids and answer their “stupid” questions and talk them through their feelings even when the teachers were running out of patience, but on my personal bad days it was hard not to snap at a kid who was giving me a hard time.
I thought I went into childcare because kids fascinated me, but realized somewhere along the line that the reason I was really there is because I still feel like a child. Someone helpless, who needs to be kept in a controlled environment and given love and care and told what to do. And I treated them the way I hoped to be treated.
Jack Seward is fascinated by psychology. He views Renfield as an equal despite (and maybe as a result of) having power over him. But he’s reluctant to spend time with his supposed peers, and was clearly terrified all through his proposal to Lucy. He is trying to understand Renfield, but when he’s at his worst it’s too easy for him to take his feelings out on someone who, like a child, is a societally designated target for subhuman social treatment.
And I wonder if, in the same way that I feel like a child, Dr. Seward feels like he is a “lunatic?”
I know that’s a GROSSLY outdated term, but its connotation is important here. “Neurodivergence” is something that’s understood and becoming more widely accepted. Between Dracula and today we’ve made great strides in the field of mental health. We know what schizophrenia is now, along with mood disorders, personality disorders, dissociative disorders, adhd, autism, (and probably more that I’m forgetting,) and have found a deeper understanding and better treatment for them.
Dr. Seward would not view Renfield, or by proxy himself, as “neurodivergent,” but “lunatic.” Someone dangerous, to be contained and quarantined from normal society and studied. Someone to fear. And I think there’s an extent to which he is treating Renfield the way he would hope to be treated.
So yeah. I won’t say the guy did nothing wrong because he very clearly has. But everyone does shitty things, and I kind of relate to the guy. I totally forget like 90% of this book but I can’t wait to see where his character goes.

Help wanted 2 spoilers!!
Okay I don't know if this has already been considered or not, but I have a theory of who the second candy cadet story is about
The two takes I've seen is either Vanessa or Cassie, which is absolutely fair and valid bc it does make sense! But I feel like there's problems with both interpretations
The story is basically, a young girl is tricked by a witch's friendly voice and barely escapes being eaten but is scarred for the rest of her life. Then when she grows up she seeks revenge, a young boy helps to guide her through the woods, and at the end we learn she was tricked again, and the witch finally has her meal
Here's my problems with both interpretations
Vanessa. Most of this works, I won't lie to you! I was willing to believe it up until "the oven door closed, the witch would finally have her meal." We do see Vanessa get possessed, or "scarred" for life, and we see her seek revenge, potentially accompanied by a young boy to some extent, however we don't get any clear indication that she fails this goal, as the only time we clearly see her is the princess quest 4 ending, where she's successful
Tldr, most of it fits, but I don't think the ending does
With Cassie, the second half of the story fits to a T! She's led by a young boy who's later revealed to have been a trick to lead her to the mimic, who, as the first half of the story says, she barely escapes from. However, the story clearly states a past encounter with the witch that left her scarred, and it's only after a significant amount of time, now with the "confidence of age and wisdom" that she comes back to get revenge. As far as we know, Cassie never encountered the mimic before ruin, and she's still a young child when she does encounter it. And considering we see her in the basic ending getting the mask the timeline doesn't match up either
Tldr, only pieces of the story fit, and important details such as her age definitely do not
SO, who do I think the story could be about
First thing to consider, the player character could potentially be who it's about, as the player can't be vanny since we see her as a separate entity, and I don't think it's cassie as the game seems to be set pre-ruin (in the real/non-AR world sun and moon are in a similar state Cassie found them in before turning them back into eclipse, for one). And then in the basic faz tron ending, the player is then attacked by, supposedly, glitchtrap/mimic controlling the nightmare bots, which could be the witch finally getting her meal, but, the player has no known correlation with the rest of the story right?
Well
Who says the characters in the story have to be a 1 to 1? The witch is certainly a different concept from mimic, so in theory the woman's gender doesn't have to be relevent, and that opens up more options
So my thought process here was, is there any other character who we know for sure has gotten "scarred" by glitchtrap/mimic in the past, and we can reasonably assume to still be alive/likely to come back?
Help wanted Jeremy.
From what we understand he was the first known character to interact with glitchtrap, and it ended with the paper slicer incident, that sure as hell will leave a scar. And I'm not sure we know how many years its been between both help wanted games, but I feel it's safe to assume it's been enough time for him to have grown a bit, even if more so mentally than physically, and want to put an end to glitchtrap. And then let's say he's the player character, and the basic ending is the witch getting her meal.
(I'll be honest, I don't know how the young boy would play into this interpretation, so, this is by no means a perfect solution)
But also, there's the evidence that the player is Cassie's dad
Carnie saying "You look like you got kids, win a prize for the little one!" Freddy saying "you are a fazbear technician, are you not?" Which I get is played off as a joke but considering mystic Hippo says "the key is familiar to you" in refrence to the faz wrench, I feel like there's merit to it, plus the fact that the player has a vanni mask, which is a fazbear technician thing.
But the biggest thing, to me, is the secret Bonnie mask, which appears with the text "this feels familiar" and it gives you an achievement titled "remember Jeremy"
Cassie's dad's favorite is said to be Bonnie, and "remember Jeremy" is pretty straightforward I'd say.
So, anyway, I don't have a coherent conclusion to this, I've never written out a theory before so take it easy on me lol, but I had an epiphany in the shower today and needed to share it! I don't have anyone to bounce ideas off of as of right now so if anyone has any additional ideas or counter points (respectfully!) I'd love hear it! :)

hi happy dadfucker friday! so i haven't read a lot of deanbobby (yet) except i think in one of your fics where dean and john fuck on his couch and dean's curiosity/attraction towards bobby is implied? how do you think their relationship starts (or when) and how does bobby's attraction manifest itself differently than john's? since i would assume he's a better father figure to dean
Hey! Happy DFF and thank you so much for indulging me in the deanbobby, and sorry its taken me like 2 weeks to answer you!
I really love that you read implied attraction to Bobby from that fic! I wrote that back when I was squicked to fuck by the very idea of them (I was so innocent) and I was mostly just trying to be gross lol but maybe subconsciously I was already going there? 🤪 Headcanon accepted anyway.
I think their relationship starts preseries. I talked about it a little before - I think Dean essentially goes to Bobby when John throws him out or otherwise isn't giving him what he needs. I see Bobby as kind of like an extramarital affair. Like, I don't see this ever happening without background johndean; I don't think Dean would have ever seen Bobby that way if his relationship with John hadn't kind of warped his mind to see "father figures" and "people I should fuck" in the same breath. Which is why this ship is hugely dadfucker adjacent to me... I think regardless of any previous existing relationship Bobby is the exact kind of guy Dean would seek out to sleep with anyway. I see Dean gravitating towards lonely old men because his his daddy is/was one. It's familiar. Comforting. Recognisable. We can be heavily attracted to what we know... its good when things are predictable, when we know what to expect.
I don't know if Bobby necessarily has any kind of preexisting attraction to Dean. I don't think it would ever even have occurred to him to try it on with Dean if Dean hadn't come to him first... and I do see Dean 100% initiating this. I see Bobby *wanting* to turn Dean down, knowing that he *should* turn Dean down... because this is beyond fucked up. He's known Dean since he was a little kid. He took him in and treated him like one of his own. Its hard for him not to *see* Dean that way still - as a son figure, as a mixed up, troubled kid. But... Bobby is desperately desperately lonely. He probably goes for days, or weeks, without seeing or speaking to another person. That can really fuck with someone. Throw in some clear impulse control difficulties... then Dean, drunk and sad because John's thrown him out again and he has nowhere else to go, climbing into his lap with his big pretty pleading eyes, "just once, please, just one more time..." well, Bobby ain't no saint. And Dean is so sweet, and he really kisses like it means something...
I think it would be harder still for Bobby to know that Dean's probably only doing this because of his Daddy issues. I don't think Bobby knows the extent, or if he does he's in denial about it... but better him than some potentially dangerous stranger of a man right... and at least in some way he's looking out for Dean, giving him what he needs. One way of justifying it to himself, anyway.
So maybe its not so much about sex itself as it is about connectivity? Kind of like an emotional attraction... this is safe, and its comforting, and it'a their secret... and when they give into it, it feels very, very good. Dean gets things from Bobby that he can't get from John - comfort, softness, undivided attention. Bobby gets things from Dean that he can't get from - well - anyone. They feel good around each other. They feel safe around each other. Dean's warped and associates feeling that way around someone with wanting to have sex with them. Bobby just... kind of gets caught up in it, he doesn't have much else going on.
So this is to say I think, in any relationship type scenario, sex for the sake of sex itself is not the primary motivator. It happens - I happen to think it's even pretty good (sorry to the limp dick Bobby truthers). But it's just two lonely people clinging to each other I think for the most part. It's depressing, and it's really hot. And I'll talk about the BDSM headcanon I keep alluding to more openly when I feel a bit braver lol.

i love this story so much! not only the characters and their dynamics but also the plot itself. truthfully i find it more entertaining than what’s going on the in the manga right now! my favorite difference is what you did to kenjaku. him possessing rikos body is an insane plot point especially cause she’s connected to so many characters.
so i have four questions:
1.) yuuta hasn’t met gojo yet and he’s only met toji once in a hostile environment. from the story he knows his sisters hate toji and he thinks getou hates him. and he heard getou say satoru’s father is a monster. is there gonna be beef between yuuta and toji?
if so, it’ll be really cool to see toji beefjng with someone who not only matches his power but isn’t really an evil person.
2.) toji doesn’t know what he did in the past but he lectures getou on being a murderer and judges sukuna for being one too. will there be some type of connection between these three and their shared sins?
3.) gojo sees toji as his father and after all he’s been through he deserves one. but i was wondering if it’ll put a strain on his relationship with megumi and even tsumiki once the truth comes out? even if he’s getting the love he deserves he’s technically hiding megumi’s dad from him. especially after the conversation where he said he loved his dad when he knew him in chapter 42.
4.) a lot less in depth then the last few questions, what does sukuna look like in yuujis head? does he look like kid yuuji with the sukuna markings or does he look older?
if these questions contain too much spoilers it’s okay not to answer. i love this story so much that i just had to let me curiosity out!😭
hi, and sorry for my super late reply to this message!! it makes me so happy to know you're enjoying the story <33 i'm honestly really proud of tpg kenjaku's motivations and plans, and it's so validating to hear you like the changes i made too. happy to answer these questions!
1 -- i won't get too into yuuta meeting gojo since that's about to happen in 44, so stay tuned :) as for toji, yuuta has met toji a few times, but doesn't know much -- though he may not be overtly hostile atm, once he finds out the full extent of what toji did to getou and everything that happened.....there may be......beef.
you put it well: "it’ll be really cool to see toji beefjng with someone who not only matches his power but isn’t really an evil person." haha yeah that would be an insane fight huh (<-nervous sweating)
2 -- there will indeed be connections between toji, getou, and sukuna once toji recalls his past! you know how much i love connections lol. ohhh those scenes make me insane
3 -- this one i can't get into much, since toji-megumi reveal is something i'm really tight-lipped about, but it's safe to assume the realization and its effects will cause strong emotions from most of the characters in the story
4 -- i sometimes imagine tpg sukuna to look like anime sukuna in yuuji's head (15yo yuuji) but in actuality, he is indeed 10yo kid yuuji with sukuna markings xD i just have a hard time picturing it
thank you so much for the message!!! <333

smth I find interesting is their differences in like the Definition of murder. like stede didn't directly kill either of the badmintons, but he still thinks of himself as a vicious murderer. but Ed only directly killed ONE person, but indirectly killed soo many ppl, like when Jack says he lit the boat on fire, and he says technically the fire killed those people. my theory is stede hates himself, and has the whole time, so unconsciously he's grasping onto this as a reason for it, and Ed is trying to never think about those people he killed so he doesn't hate himself any more than he has to.... idk I just think its an interesting character detail :-]
the interesting thing to me is that stede did not feel bad At All for "killing" nigel. like he straight up told the elder guy that. the dude asked if he felt bad for killing him and he said Not really, he sucked even as a kid! and figured out that really the reason he felt bad was because he felt inadequate and nigel reminded him he'd abandoned his family (nigel reminding him of this is also how we, the audience, are introduced to the idea that stede left them for piracy) which made him feel guilty about THAT, so what you said about him displacing his self-hatred onto this is pretty accurate.
so he didn't really feel bad about being a murderer. it's why he could leave mind-nigel behind on the shore at the end of that episode. stede isn't as averse to murder as he is to violence, per se. we see in his flashbacks that violence has been associated with masculinity for his whole life, the specific kind of masculinity he's been excluded from, that violence turned on him as a result of his exclusion. also it seems like he just thinks it's gross lol
when chauncey died, it had the same effect: chauncey forced him to remember that he abandoned his family, he didn't really give a shit about chauncey dying, but he remembered what he'd done "to" his family (assuming they were worse off without him) and felt like he needed to resolve that. it had already been on the forefront of his anxieties from learning he had been declared dead, so chauncey just pushed him over the edge, so to speak.
it's telling that when he says "at some point, a man's gotta face the music for the things he's done and the people he's hurt" we get a shot of nigel dying at "the things he's done," a relatively neutral statement, and a shot of his family at "and the people he's hurt," because from his perspective, he really only cares that he (possibly) hurt mary and the kids.
there are some inconsistencies that i hope they explore later, like stede burning that ship of aristocrats alive but looking taken aback when calico jack said ed burned a ship of people alive (with the crew still trapped inside? perhaps that was the difference).
ed's philosophy is harder to parse because we haven't spent as much time with him. he clearly sees violence as monstrous. the only person he's ever killed was his dad, which he did as a last resort to keep his mom safe after his dad was violent, and we don't know for how long that went on. after that he "always outsourced the big job," which seems like a pretty straightforward way to rationalize necessary violence. he didn't skin that guy, fang did. same end, different means.
the fact that he constructed the myth of the kraken around killing his dad is VERY interesting. not only does he outsource actual killing to his crew or other external forces, he took his one true murder and turned it into a horror story he uses to scare people, saying it's the only thing that scared him. it's hard to tell if he genuinely believed in the kraken until stede's fuckery triggered his real memory or if he knew the whole time. either way, he clearly was traumatized by killing his dad and that led him to his current philosophy, whatever the extent of that is.
looking forward to season two, it seems like they're foreshadowing ed dropping this philosophy entirely by not just going back to being blackbeard but declaring himself the kraken, the part of himself he invented to rationalize his one and only murder. which, of course, implies he'll be doing more murdering. we'll see!

How do you think Speedwagon would have reacted to Giorno? On one hand, there's that whole mess with Dio, but on the other... Giorno acts so much like Jonathan sometimes. He even has Hamon-like powers
I love to think Speedwagon might have seen himself in Giorno too. They'd probably be friends!
(Also I replied to your ask a while back, I hope you saw it!)
I'm gonna clarify this first since it's gonna play a role in my answer but, despite the fandom often considering Giorno as "Jonathan's son too", in reality and canonly, Giorno is Dio's son. Araki has confirmed this in some interviews, and also every canon Giorno bio also specifies that he is Dio's son (he is biologically a Joestar since Jonathan's body was "used" merely as an instrument, and also officially/legally because Dio became a Joestar when he was legally adopted by George I in PB).
With that established, I feel like Giorno and Speedwagon would get along incredibly well! Speedwagon would be SHOCKED at first because, well, it was thanks to Dio surviving again and stealing Jonathan's corpse that Giorno eventually came to exist. He would be very wary at first too due to Giorno being Dio's son and all the potential implications of that (I mean, the Brando family isn't precisely known for being friendly and kind). Sooner than later though, Spw's acute nose would tell him that, unlike Dio and his rancid vibes, Giorno seems to be a good kid. Once he learns about his background, the fact that Dio """"surprisingly"""" never was part of his life, Gio's relationship (or lack thereof) with his mother, and etc, I feel like Speedwagon would come to feel sympathy for the kid and, like you said, he'd come to see himself in him to some extent. I headcanon that Speedwagon was orphaned as a child, so he definitely knows the pain and suffering that comes as a result of missing one or both parental figures, being thrown into the world on your own and having to grow up quicker than most and having to fend for yourself from such a tender age. It is also implied that he went through several bad experiences with people from upper classes, loathing them to the point where he doesn't mind cutting a bitch down to shreds for something as "simple" as setting foot in his territory and etc, so its safe to assume that different forms of abuse have been a constant in some points of his life, similar in some way to what Giorno had to face since he was a child as well from his neglectful mother and step-father, feeling like he was all alone and no one to look after him.
Then there's also the fact that both have resorted to crime as a result of their less than fortunate backgrounds and also their approach to that as well. Survival of the fittest is one of the best ways you can describe what living in Ogre Street is like, and it was kind of a similar scenario for Giorno despite the latter growing up in a less hostile environment in general. Giorno and him both seem protective of those who they hold dear, showing a deep sense of gratitude towards those who selflessly help them and, eventually, using their acquired power to ensure the wellbeing of others, usually their loved ones. They are also both very determined guys, hard working, coming across as friendly/amicable if you're on good terms with them but having this "no shit taking" policy that they stick closely to, ready to throw hands if they have to.
And lets not forget that Speedwagon would definitely remind Giorno of a very special certain someone....
Tumblr media
Not only because of their general looks and appearance, but also in some aspects of their personality, traits and flaws, the fact that they're both some gang lords and etc.
I really feel like the connection would be almost immediate (once they get past the "shocked" stage), not forced, and 100% organic. They would get along really well, and I can see Speedwagon going fucking bonkers once he sees what Golden Experience can do (and I can't help but think it would be a similar case with Jonathan lol), if he somehow manages to see stands as, sadly, only stand users can see stands, but heeeeeeey, it's a bizarre universe so, who knows? Maybe they can find a way?? There's the stand arrow after all...

travis martinez is a much more interesting character thematically than i think anyone in the yj fandom has thus far given him credit for.
putting aside that he is 1) a teenager 2) full of 90s-era toxic masculinity 3) who is going through the same fucked-up experience as the girls, 4) with the added stress of losing his father and trying and constantly failing to take care of his kid brother (because he is a traumatized teenager)...
ok. the thematic purpose of travis, beyond being nat's Fridged Wife Who Motivates The Plot in the present, in 1996 is to be the lynchpin of the subversion of the gender-imbalance group dynamic.
(an aside: hilarious in a meta way how the fandom treats the one underwritten male char in a mostly female cast the same way they usually treat the one underwritten female character in a mostly male cast: with anger, hatred and refusal to examine him with any nuance, especially as it pertains to being in a relationship with someone he isn’t ‘worthy’ of. aside over.)
to put it simply: flip the genders. imagine that the yellowjackets are an all-male team, and travis is the only teenage girl alone for months in the woods with a pack of hormonal athletic teenage boys who are going feral.
now you get it.
i think it's brilliant that that isn't even a possibility in the audience's minds at first that the same danger we automatically attribute to 'teenage girl alone, surrounded by boys with no one to help' goes completely unnoticed, when you know the first thing we'd all think if the genders were swapped would vary from 'haha hope nothing happens 🙂' to 'you're in fucking danger.'
it's so ingrained in us to assume, because of all the notions about teenage girl behavior vs teenage boy behavior, that travis will either be totally safe with them or The Man (jackie's 109 'dude stranded with a bunch of babes' comment, anyone?) who's gonna have an incredible time hooking up with all these girls.
and it doesn't occur to anyone watching to think that he might be in just as much danger, or that the girls might be capable of having the exact same bad intentions and being willing to act on them... until it already happens in doomcoming. (and even then, i don't see anyone in the fandom discussing this at all, or considering how they'd feel about that scene if it were a group of boys doing it to a girl)
so uh. a theory, about what travis's role in the wilderness cult could be:
[spoilers for seasons 1 and 2 up to 205]
the communal boyfriend. i am 100% serious. here's what i'm basing this off of:
the yellowjacket symbolism. it's the title of the series, the mascot of the team, and therefore should be examined more closely for symbolism and potential plot revelations.
yellowjackets in nature are particularly vicious species of wasp. they are a cannibalistic, territorial species who can sting many times without dying, who have an almost entirely female social structure-- queen, workers/soldiers-- with the only males being drones used only for reproduction. they live underground, hibernate and breed in spring. only the queen breeds and she disposes of any competition.
if the show's going to take the symbolism to its logical conclusion in terms of parallels, the girlcult must resemble a yellowjacket hive: we already have mostly-female cannibals occupying a territory that they are beginning to map in s2. they have retreated indoors during winter.
going forward, it'd make sense if
with javi's mysterious survival outdoors in a climate we know that will kill anyone who sleeps outside overnight, all these mysterious trees with melted snow, lottie envisioning underground tunnels, (and to a lesser extent the girls finding a stream running red and the compass not working, which could be caused by mineral runoff + the plane likely crashing in british columbia, which is full of defunct mines)... there is some kind of bunker, underground cave/cave system or mine that the group will find.
if the showrunners aren't lying, the group will split, ergo one needs to find a shelter other than the cabin. that underground lair will become the base camp of one of the two clans, probably lottie's if the symbolism will be at its strongest.
they will likely begin shrooming and dooming in earnest in spring/s3.
lottie is the only character who is built up enough and has the sufficient motivations and sway with the group to be the yellowjacket queen. it can't be any of the jv girls because they aren't developed enough. it can't be mari or van, because they're consummate followers. it can't be akilah, who doesn't have any interest in leadership, or misty, who no one would follow. it can't be nat, because she's a loner. it could be shauna, who has moments of leadership potential (see: starting the midnight snackie, being the source of the group's hope via her pregnancy), or taissa, who wants to lead the group badly (and whose fugue personality is connected somehow to the cult).
but so far, the only character with a built-up support base who buzz around her protectively, who keeps being framed with antlers around her head, is lottie.
so. lottie is the closest thing to a queen the group will have. whether this means she's literally delegating tasks, or behaving as an oracle figure is irrelevant. she is the leader.
the previous yellowjacket queen was jackie, who lottie humiliates and dethrones during doomcoming, when she crowns herself with the antlers. and what was jackie up to during doomcoming? fucking travis. we'll get back to that in a sec. first:
lottie will have some involvement in the death of shauna's baby. maybe she and her cult sacrifice it. maybe they smother it. maybe they leave it outside so ~the forest can decide what to do with it.~ hopefully it isn't justified as ~just a misunderstanding~ -- if the symbolism is at its strongest, the queen, who at this point can't be anyone other than lottie, will make the choice to kill or in some way cause the death of the baby because it isn't hers, in order to keep control of the group and weaken shauna (who is showing moments of strong leadership potential).
since the yellowjacket queen is the only one to breed (see: jackie getting angry at shauna for getting pregnant/having sex before she could, and taking travis, the only eligible guy, away for sex during the party), and since we've already seen travis show attraction to lottie, and lottie attempt to fuck travis during doomcoming...
and since the only male yellowjackets are drones used only for sex...
my guess is that travis's role in this society is as, well, community dick. this isn't gonna be the bachelor. this is going to be dubconny, creepy and deeply disturbing.
that was my main point, but here are a few others.
2. consider teen girl hierarchy: the highest-ranking teen girls are always in relationships, and within teen girl social groups, boyfriends are more like accessories than partners. a teenage girl's status is increased among her peers if she has a boyfriend, and if that boyfriend is desirable.
it follows that whoever the leader of the cult is (... almost certainly lottie), a symbol of her power over the others would be having (sexual) access to travis, and, if doomcoming is foreshadowing, being able to bestow it on others in her inner circle as a reward.
3. back on travis as a subversion of gender roles: instead of being a hunter, i think it'd be a natural reversal for him to end up being the one who stays at home and has to provide sex for survival. (recall his comments in 105 re men vs women and the role of the hunter)
4. if nat's s1 comments about travis not believing in lottie are going to make sense, he has to at some point before the rescue turn on lottie and her belief system and return to nat and her side of the clan divide.
the obvious breaking point would be javi, who seems afraid of lottie in particular (and likely witnessed her doomcoming activities) and may not want to go along with her activities. if lottie or her followers harm or kill javi, travis has to have a crisis of faith.
for what its worth, i also think that if he ends up in this ‘arrangement’ with lottie's cult, or realizes where it's going, that stands as sufficient motivation for him to break away from them and return to nat's side. it's not Why I Think It'll Happen, but it does strengthen the idea.
5. the writers say that the girls do far more transgressive shit than cannibalism.
sure, rape/coercing sex from someone doesn't have to be it, but it's definitely in the ballpark. especially if it's girls doing it to a boy, because of how little people are able to wrap their minds around it and how uncomfortable it would make them.
i mean, again, look at how people react to doomcoming and just consider: if it were a group of drugged-up feral teenage boys trying to have sex with an equally drugged-up teenage girl, pinning her down, ripping her clothes off, biting her, and then responding to her running from them by hunting her through the woods, tying her down, gagging her, and nearly slitting her throat... i don't think people would be brushing this aside as much. let alone insisting the ringleader is just misunderstood and well intentioned.
not exactly sure how to end this, so i'll just boomerang back to the lord of the flies question that got the story started-- why would we expect teenage girls to behave any better than teenage boys if traumatized and left to their own devices in isolation?-- ... why wouldn't this happen?
and as a depressing addendum, since he comes home in the 1990s, if this happens, he can literally tell no one because no one would believe it, or he'd become the punchline to a terrible joke.

I feel like even Hunter and Luz would have a problem with not being able to use magic, but instead of not being allowed, they physical can't: seen as both of their "magics" come for exterior sources (glyphs for Luz and a staff for Hunter)
We've already seen how glyphs don't work in the human realm so I assume Hunter's staff wouldn't work either
So I feel like Hunter would attempt to teleport places and get frustrated when he can't (assuming they still have their palismen which I hope they do)
And maybe Luz would try to use a glyph, probably for a simple reason such as using a light glyph instead of a torch and get equally frustrated
Hunter would probably get more frustrated than Luz, seen as he's been using magic for way longer (at least a couple of years seen as he got his staff presumably quite early on) and he probably has some self esteem issues about using magic that stems from pleasing belos (similar to Amity's patent pleasing complex but not to the same extent), I mean honestly he probably has a bigger complex about "getting results"
Sorry this ask kinda went all over the place lmao
I think Hunter will probably be okay since I'm pretty sure staffs work in the Human Realm. The reason Luz's glyphs didn't work is cuz they're not inherently magic but are instead a method of channeling the magic around her, which is everywhere in the Boiling Isles. However there's very little magic in the Human Realm, rendering her glyphs basically powerless.
Meanwhile witches and demons from the Boiling Isles don't have to channel the magic in the air because they have their own power source. In the case of witches, its attached to their hearts. Which is why Lilith can cast spells while in the Human Realm. Seeing as palismen also have their own magic, independent from the witches that wield them, then it's probably safe to assume that they operate similarly. We saw Owlbert hopping around in Luz's trash in episode one. Considering he's carved of wood, if he's able to keep himself animated, then there's no reason he shouldn't be able to work in staff form.
But yeah, that is if they even have the palismen at all. I would assume they do. The palismen are a kinda weird inconsident case. From what I can tell, it seems like their witches can just banish them into the void whenever they want?? And then they can summon them back when they need them?? It's very odd, I don't know. But yeah, I think if the kids were separated from their palismen in the finale, the show would have made a point to show it happening. And Hunter definitely had Flapjack during the Belos fight, only for him to suddenly vanish when they were to crossing the portal. So yeah that bitch is in the void.
Sorry I'm getting off topic.
Yeah Hunter definitely has an insecurity regarding his lack of magic, but I feel like this season is probably going to focus more on his identity as a grimwalker and how he feels about that and how he worries how Gus and Willow will react. Oh and also all that Caleb stuff. I think this will be the centre of Hunter's season 3 arc.
Luz tho. I could absolutely see her being destroyed over being unable to use her glyphs. Like she would definitely feel an obligation to get her friends back home but she can't use magic. She's completely powerless. How is she supposed to activate the portal without magic? Adding on to that, she's become the weak link of the group, which might feed into her already feeling like a failure for getting them into this mess in the first place.
AND AND AND wouldn't it just be tragic considering this was what she left for. She wanted to stay in the Boiling Isles because she was passionate about learning magic. Well she defied the odds and she learned magic. Then she spent all of S2 trying to get home to her mom. Well now she's home to her mom. But she can't even feel relief because her other home is in danger, she's been torn away from her other family and she's dragged all of her friends into a world that's not their own. And to top it all off, the result of the months she spent learning glyph magic alongside Eda? It's all been stripped away from her. She might even wonder if it was all for nothing.
Fortunately she still has her egg. Which will probably choose to crack when Luz needs it thr most

autigender huh.
mans went to the social meetup thing because humans need social contact and all that jazz. and people were sharing their stories and something started chewing at the back of my mind until i was most of the way home.
ive always had this sense of internal gender. its not changed over time. ive always had a box thats Me. its not What I Want To Be- its just. a part of what i am. it informs how i present myself, and how id like my body to look and function. to some extent this is affected by external stimulus- know the rules so you can break them.
mostly, its affected by how i see the rest of my self. i cant present exactly how i want to right now because i have tits, etc.
and its. my access and relationship to this box has changed over time- my level of engagement, and to some extent my ability to engage with it.
because the thing i realized, that im processing now, is that i put my parents box of what i should be before my own. for all of it. presentation, career, ALL of it.
and i could have objected, i could have put myself first. and perhaps it wouldve hurt in different ways- more fights, more pushback, feeling more like myself, more self hatred, less passivity.
but i didnt. and i dont mean this in a "oh you couldnt have you were a kid" self deprecation spiral- no, limited agency is not NO agency, despite not being FULL agency- i could have, and i didnt, and i cannot change that, and i regret it.
i regret that i didnt push back on my mothers clothing opinions, disagreeing for the sake of it. i regret that i didnt take my grandmothers offers on bday shopping trips to get myself cooler clothes i LIKED. i regret that i did not live for myself, by my own standards, that young.
so. gender. my box has never been easily defined by Boy or Girl. its not boy, or girl, or "or" or nonbinary or agender or multigender or pan or bigender or any of the niche attachments to elements or objects or creatures or ideas- except maybe autism.
i want to be seen as a man, just casually wearing a dress. but im no man. im just some guy. i only have titles if theyre funny.
my identity is made of wants- what i find desirable in the world, what i find uncomfortable, what i want for myself, what i want gone. theres no pinnacle of masculinity or femininity or androgyny i aspire to. i want to be me- but that goes beyond my gender.
my gender is top surgery and testosterone. its cool patterns and weird v-necks and button ups without stiff collars. its spinny skirts and long dresses and pockets. its backpacks and short messy hair and dying tshirts with onion peels and vinegar in the bathtub. its very specific socks and worn in shoes i havent replaced in years. its doing gymnastics and weightlifting and sprints and karate. its eating whenever i want because i like to eat, and making faces at how inconsistent sizing is everywhere. its wearing sleeves long enough to flop over my arms. its scars and contacts and chains on my glasses. its bitten down nails and unshaved legs and people using they for me by default. its speaking with my weird queer lilts and jumping around high and low intonation based on my emotional state. its mastering a smirk that makes my partner beg me to stop because its too creepy. its smearing makeup on purpose and painting rainbows and fire and snake scales out of eyeshadow and lipstick.
my gender is intimately tied to my sense of self, my sensory needs and preferences, and my... sense of indulgence, is the closest i can get.
and my relationship to that changes. do i feel safe? how safe? what do people assume about me as i am? what do i want them to think? i dont know if ill want any bottom surgeries. i think i might, but i want to see how top changes things for me first.
just. wanting to be seen as a man by default right now isnt the same as being a man.

Kamijirou
Oop almost didn't see that one
They're...... super cute....
Honestly, whenever I see Jirou being shipped with anyone I can see her being a blushing mess and Kaminari would be SO proud of himself for scoring someone like Jirou :')
Also their kid would have a quirk that's basically a taser (assuming they'd have Jirou's earphone jacks and in them Kaminari's electricity)

I gots 25 asks for ya’ll :0
Tumblr media
Yeah, Its one of my AUs. I’ll summarize what it is/how I came up with it for you, :}
Way back when I first got into Undertale I thought “Awwe this story is so sad. ;m; Sans is sad because Gaster is gone.. Chara is dead, Asriel is dead and couldn’t be brought back at the end. awwee... ;M;” But then I thought “Hey! Let me make a magical happy ending timeline where Gaster, Asriel and Chara get brought back to life/rescued and everyone is happy :}}}” I did make the timeline, but it didn’t have a name and made absolutely no sense. 😅
But then way later on when I got back into Undertale for the second time, I was like “Ya know? That one timeline was horribly executed and made literally no sense on any levels.. but I like the idea of it.. the ‘ultimate happy ending’ timeline. Where everyone gets brought back to life/rescued and lives happily ever after... maybe I can fix it.🤔”
So due to my revival of the timeline and the general refining aspect of the story, I named it Refinedtale. And its still a work in progress to this day.. 🤦‍♂️
Tumblr media
(The comic in question)
I was not aware that Undyne referred to MK as “Them” in Undertale. Specifically because I have never played the game myself and have not seen any playthroughs.
But what I will say is this, and I truly mean no offence to anyone by this, but I don’t think that one line from Undyne means that MK’s pronouns are they/them.. hear me out.
If that is the only time anyone in the entire game has referred to MK as “them”, then that means it is the only piece of evidence pointing towards those being his pronouns. But if you look at the situation in which Undyne said that, I think she just called him “them” because she didn’t know who he was.
If you are referring to someone in a conversation and you don’t know their biological gender, you’d refer to them as “them”. Which is what I’m fairly confident Undyne was doing..
He was just some random kid that she doesn’t know, so when Frisk saved him she just said “Thankfully you ended up saving them.” She wouldn’t say he or she because she doesn’t know which one he is right? Just because MK looks up to Undyne doesn’t mean she knows who he is..
Again, I don’t mean any hate or to say that they/them pronouns are bad. But looking at the situation, I feel like it would be safe to assume its either or.. and I just chose to assume that he was a like a 10 year old biological boy and identified as such..
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
My version of Gaster is the skelly bros’ dad. :}
Specifically the classic “I cut holes out of my hands and used magic/science to make kids out of em” type dad.
Tumblr media
I-
I beg your pardon?
Babybones, bovine, cow, femboy, fell Sans.. wow, that’s a mouthful. Also I’m not sure what you mean by fixing them up.. do you need advice? I could use some elaboration..😅
Tumblr media
I personally really don’t like shipping in the Octonauts fandom, but I don’t have a problem with anyone that does. Its just my personal preference.
Also.. heh, uh.. none of them are my faves, I dislike all of them.. 👉👈 Shipping is just really not my thing, especially in that particular fandom.. again though, nothing against anyone that likes it! You do you man, I don’t care XD
Tumblr media
Oh definitely, the whole crew would always have an eye on him after that.
They all probably knew to some extent that he had a sensitive nose. I mean, he’s a polar bear, its like, their number one most important and strongest sense. They’d be bound to assume that its got a lot of nerves and muscles on it, which it does. Its like how I assume the whole crew knows that Peso can hold his breath for about 20 minutes because he’s a penguin.
But I imagine that none of them really expected facial injuries to effect him that much.. Especially since Captain Barnacles has always come of as level headed and in control.. So yeah, after that whole ordeal? Everyone would be a bit worried about him and would take any injuries he gets on his face a LOT more seriously.
Tumblr media
tank q ;w; ❤
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I have no idea who you’re talking about--
Tumblr media
And this is his opponent XD 👇
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Captain Barnacles would just be like:
Tumblr media
No but for real, if he had processed that call differently and thought that they were stuck in the sinking Gup-E.. things would have gone a lot differently. There would now be a whole new level of urgency to get out there and help. Barnacles probably wouldn’t even sound the octo-alert. There would be no time!
I can imagine that he just bolts for it. Like, no cap, Dashi turns around and he’s just gone and down the chute. He would be there so fast if he thought that they were in legitimate life threatening danger.
Tumblr media
Oh! These are all really good! :0
I think that makes a lot more sense for Kwazii's character. I feel like he wouldn’t be so kind or even be an Octonaut if he grew up in a culture where people pillaged and murdered frequently..
To think that he grew up in like.. I guess a less intense generation of Pirates you could say? And that he was raised on stories of these monsters and told about his Pirate lineage.. but was never really exposed to the much darker side of pirates could explain how he turned out so kind today.
Tumblr media
I am completely confused by this gremlin XD
I seriously don’t understand why he’s so popular, like?? I’ve seen the genocide route and I’ve played through pacifist. I know all the “cool” stuff about him and STILL don’t understand the hype. I’ve seen people comparing him to, and even putting him ABOVE, Sans! Like?? X’D I’m so confused! What’s so cool about Spamton?? I’ve seen the crazy things that happen in the snowgrave route and I STILL don’t get him ;m;

(The post in question)
Daww you’re welcome, I’m glad you like it :}} ❤
Tumblr media
Aw man, you cant have Christmas on the Octopod without Captain Barnacles dressing up as Santa, fake beard and all XD
Tumblr media
Thank you! :} I’ve always loved conveying emotions through body language for two reasons I feel.
1: I’ve never been too good at conveying emotion through dialogue..
And 2: Its a lot funner to do! Drawing it is fun and there’s so many subtle things I can add to the drawing that dialogue just cant do for me :}
Tumblr media
(Post in question)
Eventually his fur grew out and he trimmed off the green color. It never really washed out unfortunately XD

I’ve already answered this once so I’ll just copy and paste my answer from last time. They asked something like, “Will you make a next part to the comic?” And I said;
“To be 100% honest, I don’t really think so no... but I haven’t forgotten about it, the idea is still in the back of my head.
Its just.. I looked back on the comic and am now kind’a embarrassed about it. Like uhg, all the blood and tears, its just soooo over dramatic 🙄. A bruised snoot with a slight bloody nose and some tears would have been enough. But I went way over the top with all the drama and I cant really change that now or how I drew the comic up to this point. And my drafts for the rest of it had the Octonauts acting out of character. I just came to dislike the comic the more it aged and was no longer happy with it over all or the direction it was going to go in. <:/
But I guess its still in the back of my head. Maybe one day.. but I defiantly wouldn’t suggest you wait around for it, its most likely not gonna come back. :’/”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
That is super depressing but also really interesting, so its right up my alley XD.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I do feel bad for him yeah. And that’s also one of the main reasons why I really don’t like above and beyond so far, the crew is constantly apart.
Kwazii’s always waaaayyyy over there with his Grandpa. (Which is cool because I like Calico Jack but also not cool because Kwazii is gone all the time)
And then Dashi is always away from the Octopod flying who knows where for who knows what reason. (Which is kind’a neat because she feels like her own character now but still I don’t like that she’s never around)
And then of course you’ve got the Captain. It feels like his crew is just.. split up and gone all the time. And its like, what’s a Captain without his crew ya know?

THEENK YOUU :}}}
Oh! Yeah, the concept is that Barnacles has always been a sceptic of anything supernatural or mythical. But when they discovered the Vegimals, he specifically was the one that got kind’a spooked and started to rethink his whole belief system a bit.
If strange mutant creatures like the Vegimals could exist.. what’s to say that the strange beasts Kwazii speaks of cant exist too..?
Also, as for the Vegimals.. I imagine that if they ever saw an actual monster they wouldn’t know it was one. They might get spooked and tell Shellington they saw something scary.. but I imagine that he would just say “Oh it must’ve been a big fish of some kind.”
I mean, even if they saw a monster, knew it was a monster, and swore on their lives that they know what they saw and they told everyone.. I feel like no one would believe them.
Well, Kwazii would of course, but nobody else would. The Vegimals are just kids after all..

posting some of my random thoughts on the original six avengers. because technically no one can stop me.
iron man / tony stark
love to see actual mental illness representation tbh. also i feel like a lot of characters that have that kinda snarkyness and wit that tony has all have daddy issues, right?? like, call it the jake peralta complex (just because i like brooklyn nine-nine), where a character acts extremely immature and doesn't take anything seriously, but becomes progressively less annoying when they actually start dealing with and working through their issues.
i feel like tony's main issue as an avenger is his guilt. when you have anxiaty, you constantly worry about something that could happen that could possibly be your fault. this is what causes tony to create ultron. and we all know how that turns out. which just gives tony even more guilt.
also, as far as comics come, i haven't read a lot of iron man comics, but i do know that at some point he was heavily implied to be canonically bisexual. so that's cool.
captain america / steve rogers
ok so imma be honest. not the biggest cap fan. i guess his character is just a bit too much of a blatantly perfect patriotric boy kinda character for me. but, then again, that's also a kinda interesting thing. because he's just a good person, end of sentence.
steve has a really, really strong moral code that he follows above all else. which is also why john walker couldn't be captain america; captain america isn't a government puppet, and has no problem going against the rules (or the law) to do the right thing. steve is also extremely against hurting people, and would give his life up to protect someone else. that alone makes him almost superhuman, because not a lot of people can stick to their moral code to that extent.
the hulk / bruce banner
okay. originally i didn't really like bruce. i thought he was boring. but recently i've actually started liking him a lot more. the whole "i am not the enemy" kind of storyline of someone being shunned despite only wanting to help was really kind of popularized by the hulk comics, i think. and y'know what? it is a cool idea for a character.
i think i especially liked him in the first avengers movie, because he really seemed tired of people treating him like a labrat and trying to get him to turn into the hulk ("sorry, kids. i guess you're not gonna get to see my party trick after all" he really sounded irritated and exhausted in that line, which i honestly loved). bruce himself is sick and tired of not being seen as a person because of the hulk, and the hulk is sick and tired of everyone (including bruce) seeing him as nothing but a threat or nuisence.
thor odinson
having a literal god on the team? valid. but i also do love how thor doesn't completely overpower the others; the first film goes out of its way to prove that all of the avengers are almost completely equal in terms of ability; for example, for what characters like black widow and hawkeye lack in terms of physical strength, they more than make up for in cleverness and stragedy. whereas thor, who you'd obviously assume is the strongest avenger, is proven to be an equal match for iron man and captain america.
when it comes to thor himself as a character, i think thor: ragnarok! and avengers: infinity war have probably the best way of characterizing him with little ideas like bringing attention to how much he's lost, how he considers earth under his protection and any harm brought to it is something he sees as a personal failing.
black widow / natasha romanoff
ohh boy. let's talk about nat, huh?
she's, in my humble opinion, the most tragic avenger. an ex-russian super spy who was raised to kill but decided to become a hero instead is already an objectively cool character concept, but when you take into account the fact that her only real family as a child was fake, but that she would still do anything to keep her little sister safe, and how no matter how much good she does she'll always still just see herself as a killer, her character starts making even more sense.
nat's friendship with clint intrigues me specifically, as a frayromantic, because i absolutely love seeing a deep emotional connection that isn't romantic at all in media. especially with the kind of dynamic these two have; you can just tell they consider each other as close as family, and that they've probably saved each other countless times.
hawkeye / clint barton
okay. this is gonna be a long one.
i absolutely love clint barton. especially in the comics. so you're telling me this working class orphan kid who was raised in a circus and is hard of hearing and has a disabled brother and is bad at relationships is in the avengers? hell yeah.
overall, i think clint's status as the Regular Guy (tm) of the avengers is pretty well known and established; he's just a human. just a genuine, kind-hearted, human being trying his best. and that's another thing i love about clint barton's character: he needs to try so much harder than the rest of the avengers just to keep up, and let's be honest, a team where everyone is a god or a supersoldier or super rich is just kinda boring to watch. (also, as a working class kid with adhd, i honestly relate to the feeling of having to try way more just to keep up-)
also, the thing about his relationship struggles in the comics also interests me, because knowing he's also a child abuse survivor makes me feel like the reason he can't properly express love to other people is because he never really received it himself. but the fact that he's trying so hard means he wants to learn how to.
also, idk why, but clint has real drummer vibes. both in the comics and the movies. and i just love his relationship with kate, like, i feel like in the comics clint's kinda her mentor/father figure, but in the comics (especially matt fraction run) kate is more like clint's older sister, honestly.
ok so i really liked just writing out my marvel brainrot so i might have to make another one of these posts with different characters-

monkie kid winged au (flightless birds au) stuff, lets go
MK was born with wings that are a size too small, he can’t fly with them
Wukong’s wings were severely damaged by the mountain, to the point where he can’t fly. (his wings are the one part of him immortality/invulnerability doesn’t heal). he normally keeps them hidden for this reason, and most people who didn’t know him pre-havoc in heaven assume he never even had wings. (he can still use his cloud sail) (MK doesn’t know about Wukong’s wings)
Macaque only has one wing. He usually uses a glamor to make it seem like he has two.
MK originally started looking up to the Monkey King because “oh hey, it’s a hero that doesn’t need wings in order to fly”
Mei has hummingbird wings. she doesn’t really need them because of the whole Dragon and Motorbike and Being Fast thing, but they’re there
...everyone elses wings are up for debate/interpretation because i honestly know jack shit about birds
Wukong’s wings alongside being unusable are in uh. not all that good condition due to how he just. basically ignores them and hides them. (he uses a glamor to keep them hidden, but he doesn’t really....like remembering how damaged his wings are, so he doesn’t take care of them.)
Red Son only finds out that MK can’t fly when he knocks the other off a building and has to save him (....this happens in Bad Weather.)
the Sign Saga
basically theres a giant billboard within the city that people keep smacking into while flying (even Wukong smacked into it while cloud sailing once) and its seemingly indestructible. the sign also happens to have a drawing of Wukong on it with the slogan “the sky is a safe place to fly”
....the reason everyone keeps smacking into the sign is because a while back MK accidentally cursed it when he was upset over not being able to fly (and at the time was in possession of a cursed object).
Red Son finds out about this after he slammed into the sign hard enough he dislocated his wing and had to go to MK for help. (....this would be before the New Years special, so before Red Son’s redemption arc. have fun with that)
Red Son: what do you mean you cursed the sign???? MK: look, it wasn’t my fault, Red Son: YOU LITERALLY JUST SAID THAT YOU CURSED IT
Red Son smacks MK on the head using his uninjured wing because “you’re dumb Noodle Boy, I can’t believe you accidentally started the Sign Curse”
Wukong also hates the sign. for multiple reasons really, including the fact he did not get permission for it to be made (his lawyer has tried suing the company that put it up multiple times) but mostly because the sign having his face on it and saying “the sky is a safe place to fly” when he himself can’t fly with his wings is.....yeah. kinda upsetting.
LBD calls MK a “flightless bird”.....
“Oh poor little flightless bird who’s eyes are blinded by the sun... you were always destined to fall.”
as said earlier, MK doesn’t know about Wukong’s wings, so when Macaque shows Wukong as having wings in Shadow Play....well MK is understandably confused.
“But Monkey King doesn’t have wings!” “Doesn’t have- ha! Oh, bud, exactly how much has your so called mentor kept hidden from you?”
when LBD starts trying to turn MK to stone in the season 2 finale, she managed to get his wings. they ache and have lost some of their colour for some extent of time after.
on the ship, the others demand Wukong remove his glamors so that they can treat his injuries, and. this is how they find out about Wukong’s wings
said wings currently have some bloodied bandages wrapped around them, because whatever got the rest of him also got his wings. not to mention the fact his wings were already in horrible condition, so-
they lecture him about proper wing care
remember how Macaque only has one wing?
that wasn’t always the case
Wukong, at this point in time, thinks that he’s the one who did it, and is utterly horrified by it. this may or may not be why he won’t use the full extent of his powers
.....he’s not actually the one who did it
theres a reason Macaque knew about LBD
*(casually projects my fear of heights onto Macaque)*
i will not be elaborating on that other than the fact that when he lost his wing the fight did not occur on solid ground
in this AU when LBD possesses someone, their wings become skeletal
this isn’t necessarily canon to this AU, but if she were to possess Macaque, a ghostly see through wing would appear where his missing one is
...on a completely different note though. once everyone is on the ship some of them have to carry Macaque and Wukong around when they need to go someplace that requires flying (since, yknow, Wukong lost his ability to cloud sail)
Wukong resigns himself to it after 5 minutes but Macaque complains and struggles so much (fear of heights kicking in) that the only person who can safely carry him is Sandy
MK got a hoverboard so he doesn’t have to be carried. (Wukong wanted to use the hoverboard too but he Sucked Ass at it and none of them are taking the chance of him falling off)
Red Son and Mei both take MK for flights sometimes. why? because its fun, thats why.
and....thats about all i have for this au thus far. will make more posts when theres more hdkfjflkjslks

Kobik - Chapter I
Bucky x Reader
(Fluff, Angst)
Plot: You and Bucky's relationship is anything but ordinary. Something that you've been used to since day one. But one day when Bucky brings home an unexpected little guest with superpowers, you reluctantly find yourself thrusted into something close to parenthood much sooner than you had ever expected to be.
Notes: I've been obsessed with Kobik and Bucky's father/daughter relationship with her since I read the Thunderbolts comics. Enjoy protective dad!Bucky.
        *Ring* *Ring* *Ring*
“I’ve got to change that ring tone,” was your first thought after your atrociously loud phone woke you up in the middle of your mid-day nap. But you always felt the need to keep it off silent when Bucky was away from you for emergency use.
You groggily propped yourself up and picked up the phone.
           “Everything okay?”
“Let me guess. You just woke up?”
There were no signs of real distress in his voice. So why the hell was he calling instead of texting?
           “Mmmmm,” you groaned.
You being an investigative journalist had just finished working on an important writing piece that took over a month and a half to write. A piece that involved multiple trips across the ocean for in-person research. So you were pretty exhausted nowadays.
           “What’s up?” you asked mid-yawn.
“Y/N…I need you to meet me somewhere as soon as possible. At…our spot.”
Now you began to get worried.
You and Bucky had a special secluded spot in a nearby building that had been abandoned halfway through its being built years ago. It was safe to assume that it was just another private abandoned project after the blip that was never followed up on. So you and Bucky deemed it your secret place to go to if you needed to talk about something urgent where nobody could hear or see you.
“Are you in some kind of trouble? Do we need a lawy—”
“No, Y/N. It doesn’t have anything to do about me…for the most part.”
           “For the most part?”
You could suddenly hear Sam’s voice echoing in the background again.
“How worried do I need to be, Barnes?”
           He hesitated.
Those pauses always made you incredibly anxious, and he knew that.
“Are you safe? Are we safe?”
Another pause as he swallowed nervously.
           “James?”
“I wouldn’t have called for you to come if I didn’t think that we’d be safe.”
You shook your head. And although he couldn’t see it, he knew you enough to know that that was exactly what you were doing.
           “You trust me?”
“Would I have married you if I didn’t?” you sighed lightheartedly.
“I can be there in 30, okay?”
And before you could hang up he said those three words that almost never faltered in making you smile, even in the worst of time.
           “I love you.”
Despite the fact that he said that there was nothing really to be truly worried about, you couldn’t help but feel a pulsing anxiety surge through your body. In the years that you had been together, you never really had to use your spot for any type of unexpected emergency.
You stumbled your way to the building being careful to not fall over the chunks of broken concrete protruding from the dirt before making your way to the door that was almost completely broken off minus two feet of it from the bottom still hinged to the door frame.
           “Hey,” said a familiar voice.
You turned around to see your husband’s beautiful face. You hadn’t seen Bucky in almost a week, so when he wrapped you in his arms you had no choice but to feel nothing but comfort and warmth. But after a two-second tender moment, you snapped out of it.
           “James,” you said.
“What is this about? Why am I here?”
Before he could say anything, you could hear  Sam’s voice in another area of the house. It sounded almost as though he were giving orders to someone. Which was then followed by the echoes of a little childlike voice…
You shook your head and reasoned that you were either hearing things, or things were about to get really weird.
“Bucky,” you said raising your voice and crossing your arms.
           “How bad can it be?”
Suddenly the only sound in the house was the sound of little footsteps sprinting towards you followed by Sam’s voice.
           “Kobi—”
And right before your eyes, there was a little girl. A little girl that couldn’t have been older than 4 or 5 years old. She was incredibly pale and had blonde – No, white hair in two high pigtails. But the strangest thing about her was her inhumanly glowing blue eyes.
“Everything okay Buckaroo?” she asked seeming concerned about him.
“Shit,” Sam said under his breath as Bucky gave him a death stare.
“Kobik,” Bucky scolded lightly, crossing his arms.
“I told you not to come out until I said –”
“I know,” she said as her little face and shoulders fell.
“But someone seemed mad at you. Are you okay?”
She turned her gaze over to you and gave you a once-over as if she were scanning you to see if you were a stranger and potential threat to your own husband.
Sam finally joined you guys looking somewhat embarrassed.
           “Sorry, I couldn’t stop her.”
Now you were staring at Sam giving him the “What the hell is going on?” look.
He didn’t seem like he wanted to be the one to answer.
Great, now you had two men who didn’t want to answer any questions about the strangest looking child that you had ever seen.
           “Kobik,” Bucky said.
           “This is my wife, Y/N.”
Her intense stare immediately softened, which eventually evolved into a big smile, and waved at you.
           “Hi!”
You were awestruck, and couldn’t even answer. You just turned your stunned gaze away from her and back on to Bucky.
“Bucky…” you said under your breath.
“I’m gonna ask you again. Why am I here?”
Bucky took you outside next to a pile of large concrete rocks to sit on which you were grateful for because you were feeling pretty dizzy, and even felt a little sick.
Who was she? Did he have a kid that he decided to never tell you about? Did he feel the need to take her for some reason? Those were all logical thoughts that any rational human could think up for this type of situation. Right? And also, why did the poor thing look like…the way that she did?
But when you finally did get Bucky to talk, everything came out of his mouth exceeded anything that you could ever imagine. In fact, for a moment of time if felt as though you were watching Bucky say a bunch of nonsensical sentences pre-exploding brain aneurism.
But the longer he continued to speak, you realized that he was serious. This wasn’t some type of psychiatric meltdown or a sick joke.
You shook your head as he reached over to put a comforting hand on your upper arm.
“I know it sounds crazy, Y/N but—”
“Crazy? No,” you shuddered, pulling away.
“Crazy would be telling me that, I don’t know, you had some kind of accident child with someone during our marriage and you’re just bringing her over to tell me for the first time.”
He opened his mouth to say something but you shoved your index finger in his face to continue.
“Crazy would be telling me that you found a literal child with superpowers and you just decided to take her to see what she’ll do. But you’re meaning to tell me that it’s not even a human?”
           “Y/N—”
“You’re meaning to tell me,” you said pointing to the door.
“That I’m supposed to believe that some extremely powerful force of ‘cosmic energy’ formed itself into a little girl, and you decided to make the impulsive decision of just taking it with you?”
“It’s not like that, Y/N,” he replied.
“I’ve known about her for a little over a year now.”
You couldn’t lie, that shocked you a little bit.
           “A year?”
           “Listen,” he said.
“A year and a half ago were investigating a situation in Norway. One thing led to another and we ended up in an underground science lab with two scientists observing some type of glowing anomaly in the shape of a cube that they were carefully monitoring and studying. Sam and I made it our responsibility to keep this hidden and make sure it stays hidden.”
“So what does this have to do with—”
He stopped you from finishing your sentence.
“Two months later they call us to fly over and it seems that overnight this glowing anomaly somehow formed itself into this little girl that calls herself Kobik.”
If you didn’t trust him as much as you did, you would be calling bullshit at this point. You didn’t even know that these kinds of things were humanly possible. Granted, you also didn’t think it humanly possible for a bunch of aliens to pretty much destroy New York, or for another batch of aliens to come down and somehow make half of the earth’s—No, the universe’s population disappear. So you continued to listen.
“A few days ago we get a notice that the lab’s been breached, and by the time we got there, the two scientists are dead. When we get there to check out the scene we find that the five grown men that broke in were also dead. And a minute later we found Kobik shaking all alone in a corner.”
Your heart broke for her for a split second. But then you let his words sink in before realizing...
           “Wait,” you said
“You said the intruders were dead.”
           He nodded.
           “Who killed…”
He knew that you knew that answer.
“She had to defend herself,” he shrugged.
“And how did she do that, Bucky? She’s tiny.”
And that’s when you realized that there was even more to the story.
“Once she took form, they made it their focus to study the extent of her powers along with her behaviors. She talks, plays, and overall acts like a child of the age that she took form in…But in the wrong hands she could be used and abused into being a powerful weapon.”
“So why did you take it?” You asked.
“It obviously can defend itself.”
He didn’t seem thrilled about you talking about it like it was an inanimate object.
“We don’t know if it was a fluke or not. She may not know how to properly defend herself and won’t get so lucky the next time. Next thing you know she could end up in the wrong hands. And she was scared, Y/N. I…We couldn’t just leave her.”
You stressfully ran your fingers against your scalp through your hair.
           “So what now?” you asked.
“She’s going to just stay here? In this abandoned half build house?”
“No.”
“…So is Sam going to keep her somewhere?”
The longer he stared at you the dizzier you started getting, understanding what he was actually asking.
“Y/N,” he said softly.
“I’m the only one she trusts.”
His last words fell into the background as you suddenly leaned over and threw up the entirety of your lunch…maybe even breakfast.
He held your hair back until you finally stopped.
“Bucky, you’re not saying,” you croaked while wiping your mouth.
“Tell me you’re not saying that you want to take her in.”
“Y/N, she’s scared. And I’m the only one she trusts to be around.”
You shot up and involuntarily started shaking your head.
No. This was not happening. He was not bringing a lethal science experiment into our house.
The world began to spin again as you probably got up too quickly, but you were good at playing it off. Why couldn’t he just be normal and bring an abandoned puppy home or something?
Regardless, there was no way that this could happen. There was no way that you could let this happen. You didn’t know who was going to invade your house to try to come to collect it. Much worse, you didn’t know how dangerous this thing was. What it could do to either of you when you least expected. What if it…she got startled in the middle of the night and activated some type of lasers in her eyes and cut you in half?
So you said what you needed to say.
“No.”
“Y/N,” he replied sympathetically.
“I know that this may be a lot so suddenly but—”
“No!” you said again putting your foot down.
“We can’t…Not right now. It’s not a good time”
“What the hell is that supposed to mean?”
Damn it.
“This isn’t some abandoned puppy that you found across the road, James! You brought home this radioactive weapon that people, might I add, bad people are looking for. And they’re not even the ones that I’m scared of!”
“You’re not making any sense.”
“After all that just came out of your mouth in the past 15 minutes, you really just had the nerve to tell me that I’m the one that’s not making any sense?” you exclaimed.
“What doesn’t make any sense is that your excuse is that this isn’t the right time. What do you mean by it’s not the right time, Y/N?”
“We…I have a lot of serious shit going on right now, okay?”
“I thought you were taking time off of work,” he pointed out.
“I am, okay? It’s just…”
You paused, you didn’t know what to say or even how to say it.
“Is there something that I need to know? What does timing have to do with anything?”
“I…well…” you stuttered.
“Spit it out, Y/N.”
You sighed in defeat. You didn’t have a choice now.
“Because damnit, Bucky!” you shouted, startling yourself by how loud you were. But there was no stopping now.
“I’m pregnant.”
