at least saturday was much better than i thought it was gonna be <3

i had an absolutely legendary night! it was hilarious, got loads of presents, got pissed (and woke up with no hangover - what a bonus!), had a kick-ass cake, and i was surrounded by my nearest and dearest and even some family & friends i havent seen in years

one of the funniest things that happened was when a load of us were gathered in the smoking area singing this to my aunty

(check these guys out haha they like do like proper old-style rural-farmer parodies of songs - if that makes any sense? yeah? no? uhhh just watch it and you'll probably see what i mean lmaoo they're from Sheffield anyway so idk if most of you will understand - i think its one of those things where you have to be a brit to fully understand. but oh my god they're fucking hilarious! i recommend one called Losing my Best Pigeon - bet you can guess who they're parodying there lmao)

aanyway... i was on vodka & coke for most of the night, but people kept buying me doubles later on - so you can imagine everyone going fucking mental & singing zulu warrior when i downed a double black Russian - which i almost spat everywhere bc everyone kept making me laugh!! it was awesome my mum & grandad were looking at me the whole time like "you absolute weapon!"

then near the end i had to inevitably cut the cake - it hurt. it was too perfect

i mean, come on - look at this fucking masterpiece!!

it's friggin' steampunk! THEY MADE ME EAT THE CLOCK!! butitwasdeliciousanyway-andifanyonewantstoknowthatsmeinthedresslmao

but it was funny af i had a sparkler candle and it set the bloody fire alarm off pmsl

it was a fantastic night! and to top it all off, one of the best moments of the night was when me & my boyfriend actually got up and danced haha :'D but when we slow-danced to Disturbed's cover of Sound of Silence, that was honestly the best moment ever~ <3 i know it probably doesn't sound like much to most people, but consider these;

neither of us really dance (unless we're drunk, as we've discovered)

neither of us CANT dance (again, unless we're completely wasted)

we have mega confidence issues, so imagine being the only ones on the dancefloor

but we were v drunk so we did it anyway

that cover holds a really dear memory for us both. when we went seeing Disturbed on the same night as Avenged Sevenfold, they played it. and it's rare Sound of Silence gets played, and its my bf's absolute fave - it was a super emotional time and it was something amazing to take away with us~

it was so goddamn special to me, i cant stop thinking about it hhhhh <3

okay, im gonna stop being soppy i know you guys dont want that aaaaaaajhchgcgjxj all in all, i had an amazing night - and hopefully next week will be equally as amazing be me, my bf, and my folks are going to Alton Towers aha <3
