An argument gone wrong. Extremely wrong. Minho apologized for it immediately. He even gave you some space. Well, as much space as an obsessive person can give.

“Someone is here to fix it. That’s why I wanted you to stay in our room,” Minho said, guiding you away from the hallway. Before you stepped into the living room, someone called out to him.

The both of you turn, and the worker is there. “You wouldn’t happen to know the paint color, would you?”

“Don’t look at him. Look at me,” Minho demanded as he stood in front of you. He turned around, facing the man and putting his back to you.

“I don’t know. Eggshell? We’re planning on redoing it anyway,” Minho explained, waving his hand dismissively. The guy nods in understanding as he tries looking around Minho at you.

You hide your face by pressing against Minho’s back. You can feel his back rumble as he speaks, “You’re doing amazing, my love.”

The man stares at Minho with a weird expression before walking back into the kitchen. You take that as your cue to leave, too.

“Where do you think you’re going?”

Maybe not.

“Away?” You say. Though the way your voice rises in pitch sounds like a question.

“Away where?”

You spin, waving your arms around with a blissful smile. “To a faraway land!”

“Answer the question,” Minho glared as he crossed his arms.

“I'm going to piss!” You groan, throwing your arms up in exasperation. “Can I go to the bathroom?!”

“No, I don’t think so,” He hummed.

“What?”

“I said no. I don’t want to risk that guy seeing you,” He scoffed, guiding you into the living room and away from the bathroom.

“But I have to use the bathroom?” You huffed.

“Okay?”

"You're so mean!" You flop onto the couch and away from his arms. He follows you.

"I'm not, but I can show you mean." He smiles, but there’s no light in his eyes. It’s a little unnerving. His eyes are so dark they look black.

“I’m sure I can hold it,” You whisper, and this time his smile is real. The spark his back, but that feeling is still there. He wouldn’t hurt you.

You've been called to paint the walls in Arkham Asylum since they had to be renovated.

You heard many things about Arkham, and even if you had to go there only for a few days and hours until your work was finished, you were nervous.

Your first day was normal, and everything went better than you actually expected. One of the people who were responsible of the Asylum showed you where they needed to renovate the walls so you could start working.

As soon as they finished giving you a little touring around the building, you immediatly began working.

You were fully concentrated on the work, painting the walls, giving them a more 'vivid' look rather than the dreadful vibe the old gray walls gave the building.

On a sudden moment, you accidentally misplaced a foot, causing you to loose balance and slip from your ladder.

Lucky you, a certain 'Dr Crane' was there to catch you right on time before you fell to the floor.

The situation caused several people to turn around and stare at the scene, with worried looks on their faces.

Your cheeks immediatly turned red as soon as you saw your 'knight in shining armour', the man who had caught you. His shiny icy blue eyes piercing straight into your soul, they were so incredibly charming.

"H-Hi." You shyly mumbled, looking at the doctor who had just caught you. "Hello." He replied back.

You quickly stood up, and dusted off your clothes. You thanked him, and briefly introduced each other.

He was usually a very serious man (you of course didn't know that), but there was something about you that made him be very gentle and soft with you. He thought you were sweet.

Something even more odd from him, is that he complimented your work. That surely made your cheeks get even redder.

Having to get back to each others work, you waved goodbye and kept doing your things. Of course, your mind couldn't stop replaying that moment, and hoped to see him more often.

A few days after that, you were nearly finishing your job. You had seen him a few times walking around the places where you were painting, and always flashed a slight smile at each other.

One of those days, you were getting down from the ladder, since you needed to grab some more paint for the walls.

It was a coincidence to see him walking there, as always. It was busier than usual, lots of people walking all over the building, since they were renovating and cleaning it.

The floor was clearly bright since it was slightly wet, since the girl that cleaned the place had been there just a few minutes before he walked over there.

You flinched your nose as you saw him walking right over the wet floor, knowing what was about to happened. So you hurried and ran to him.

Just as you predicted, he began having a bit of a 'complication' to walk around there, causing him to nearly slip.

But you were there, you were his saviour now, just like he was when he caught you when you fell from the ladder.

You placed your arms around his large body from behind, and caught him before he fell to the floor. Since he's heavier and taller than you, he nearly dragged you down with him, but you luckily maintained your balance.

He couldn't help but smile when he turned his head around to look at you goofily smiling, with a slight redness on your cheeks.

"Looks like we're even." You said to him, as a small smile began forming on his lips.

And right at that moment, he knew that was only the beginning of a beautiful relationship. It was weird for him to be 'attracted' to somebody, but there was something about your personality that truly enchanted him.

Chapter 4

He has never truly felt alive. His whole life he was hidden behind a mask. He couldn’t even remember the last time he smiled sincerely. It was all fake. Ironically, the only time he truly felt alive was when taking the lives of others. That’s what made him immortal. He took a few steps back to admire his masterpiece. Created with the hands of a monster, but still ever so majestic in his eyes. With disgusting, evil satisfaction he left the parts and service room and locked it behind him. Only now was his work done and he could sleep peacefully at night.

You stood before the door to your office, keys in hand about to unlock it when you heard someone come up from behind you.

"Morning, y/n." spoke a familiar male voice.

Your co-worker Timothy greeted you with a smile. He was always so kind to you and clearly enjoyed your presence a little too much. He was average height, had short blonde hair and was well built.  He wasn’t one of the people you were dying to talk to today, but you still chatted with him trying to be as nice as possible. You couldn’t say you disliked him… he just had weird vibes.

“Oh, good morning, Tim.” you replied. “Boss wants to see you.”

His information did scare you a little, but you knew you hadn’t done anything wrong lately, so your job wasn’t in danger.

“Did he tell you why?” you asked with raised eyebrows. “Nope. Anyway, I was wondering…You wanna go out with me tomorrow? I can take you to my favorite restaurant, I’m sure you’ll like it there.” he leaned against the wall next to you, smiling.

You were quite taken aback by his blunt answer and sudden change of topic. You weren’t exactly in the mood to spend your free time with your co-worker, but thinking about it, you decided to agree. It wasn’t going to be a date or anything, you just haven’t really gone out in a while so why not. You flashed him a fake smile.

“I mean… yeah, sure. Thanks, Tim.” you said, not wanting to sound too interested. You didn’t want to lead him on after all.

His face lit up with excitement. “Cool! See you tomorrow at 7 pm? I’ll pick you up.” He winked.

“Sounds great, see you!” and with that you were off to your boss’ office, tucking your keys back in your pocket.

You fixed your tight black skirt and white blouse you were wearing before knocking on the office door.

A “Come in!” came from inside the office.

You entered and closed the door behind you.

“Morning, agent. Please sit down.” He motioned over to the chair opposite him with a smile.

You nodded towards him and sat down. ”Tim said you wanted to speak to me?”

“Yes, that’s right. Look, I listened to the interrogation with Afton and I’m afraid it’s not enough.”

Your eyes lit up at that. You found that man and his work incredibly intriguing, and you were hoping you could maybe get an opportunity to ask him about the robots and maybe if you got lucky, he would even let you see them.

“So… you want me to contact him or…?” you asked, hiding your excitement. “Yes, that’s exactly what I was going to ask you to do.” he passed you the exact same card William gave you yesterday. You chuckled at that and took it from him. “Call the number on this card when you can and arrange a meeting with him at a place like a café or something. We want as many answers as we can get from him, and we know that the guy likes you, so he’s most likely to tell you anything. There’s no reason to suspect him really, yet. I just think, as the restaurant owner, he might give us a few more leads.”

You flashed him a grin. “Alright. What do we need from him?”

He opened a drawer below his desk and pulled out another folder. He opened it up and placed it in front of you.

“I wrote everything down for you here. Please get as many answers from him as you can. I’m counting on you, kid.”

You stared at the page in front of you. Your boss requested you to ask William about his family, specifically about his two deceased kids, his mental health history and something about Henry too.

You stood up, folder in hand: “Understood. I won’t disappoint you, boss.” you grinned and walked out of his office back to yours.

When you were finally alone in your office, you giggled to yourself like a little kid and sat at your desk picking up the telephone, his card in hand. You were quite nervous, but you reminded yourself that this is a work matter and not to get too excited. You dialed the number and waited for an answer.

“Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, William Afton speaking. How may I help you?” 

His smooth, deep voice rang through the telephone giving you butterflies. You quickly realized you were zoning out and regained your composure.

“Good morning, mister Afton. This is agent (y/n) (l/n), I was the one interviewing you yesterday.” You heard him smile over the phone. “Ah, hello miss (l/n). I didn’t think you would actually call.” He joked. You rolled your eyes. He was clearly in a good mood today… “Actually, I’m calling because of something work related.” You replied lightheartedly. “Aw, what a pity.” He said with a pout. “What can I help you with, miss (l/n)?” “There are some things I need to speak to you about regarding our investigation. I was wondering if we could do that in person rather than over a call if you are comfortable with that.” You said while nervously bouncing your leg up and down. “Of course, I would be open to that.” “Awesome. Would later today at 3:00 pm at the Hurricane Café be alright for you?” you asked. “Yes, sounds good.” “Alright, thank you for your time, mister Afton. That will be all.” “I’ll be looking forward to it then.” He replied playfully before hanging up.

My friend Quin and I, we were able to make it to like this?? Gathering?? About two years ago, dont have the screencaps anymore but it was like in a huge stadium/stage. It was like WEEKS before the kazdem(?) drama but there were still some rumours, so it was def intriguing. Now me and them, we're both myths in one account and myth hunters in another, so we got to see both sides of the equation

So we was vibing there and it was kinda boring as shit, altho we came across fiddlepat and alonetraveler. But then we got?? Telelported? Keep in mind my memory is fuzzy so we could have joined the game but idk

It was alonetraveler's place, a looong ass throne room, but nobody could get into the 'line' separating the two walls, so quin and I eventually gave up

But we didnt leave, no. We took note of someone in the chat.

YUKC0, to be exact. He appeared to be trapped somewhere, apparently strapped to a chair. We were the only ones looking for him, and we got led to a ladder. It led downwards, near the back of the map where nobody else was.

There was a maze? Completely sterile white, untextured. No, more of a labyrinth, no wrong ways yet so many. We were trying to get the centre and YUKC0 was still there, more just complaining about the circumstances (he doesnt strike me as the 'HELP' type anyways)

So we got to the centre, and just for a second we saw him in the room, completely white like the rest aside from a wooden chair -- then everyone was kicked out. We couldn't get back in for a while, nor could we find the maze again. It was really weird but REALLY freaking cool and highkey gave us inspiration for our own myth. I wanna get back into scripting so we can do stuff like they did •v•

Finally Nya's season! Our queen, our water goddess, our amazing girl gets what she deserves! 😍😍😍

What I know about the season beforehand is that Nya's powers apparently are getting problematic for some reasons? Which is a pretty common topic in other shows but it's a first in Ninjago, usually the elemental powers don't have focus and I LOVE that we now get to see stuff like that 💕💕💕

I know there should be Wojira involved, trusting The Island to deliver that little foreshadowing at the end of the episode 🤷‍♀️ Also Maya is back... MAYA IS FINALLY BACK AFTER SEVEN SEASONS YES!!! 😭😭😭

I have nothing else to say, I have no idea what this will bring, hopefully something as good as Master of the Mountain! 🖤

Warning reader, I might be fangirling to an extreme because I love mah girl Nya and I've been wanting Kai and Nya's parents to be back ever since Hands of Time ended. So yeah... screaming alert 😅

At this point I don't doubt that the intro is great, we reached such a level of animation and we got The Fold 😍😍 Love the marine vibe and how it's similar to The Island, because it's a great intro 👌

NOW I like the writing! Maybe they rushed the dialogue's quality for The Island to get here? It's just fun and in character, maybe it's just me but I'm enjoying it a lot for now

How many episodes are in this? Wiki says ten, then I checked again and it's sixteen like with Master of Mountain... eh, it looks good so far so it's fine whatever happens 🤷‍♀️

“What do you mean she’s not coming?” Leo asks, all the bad feelings quickly overtaking him. 

“She said she wanted to sight see more, and that she’d meet us back at camp in a few days,” Jason says, trying to break the news as gently as possible, “I’m sorry, Leo.”

The door creaks and their heads turn to you, exiting the front door. 

“Who’s driving?” you ask.

“So he’s-” you catch movement out of the corner of your eye, “driving?” you ask Leo, who just came back from the trunk.

“Jason, I mean.” you clarify. He confirms, and you all get in the car - Jason up front, you and Leo in the back. You reach into your bag and hand Jason a cd that says ’fun sad angry music :)’. He stares at you through the rear view mirror. You stare back. You sip your coffee. 

“Well?” you ask, “Are you going to put it in the player or eat it?” His eyes dart to Leo’s. “She gets to choose the music,” he explains. Jason mutters in agreement and fumbles the disk into the slot. A smile spreads on your face as the music plays and he starts to drive. 

Leo watches you as you nod your head and mouth the lyrics. He can tell you love this song. You vibe to the music for a minute before glancing over at Leo. He realizes he’s been staring when you give him an expectant look.

“What.” you ask. 

“Uh, this song is really good,” interest tints your face, and he’s relieved he recovered okay, “what’s it called?” You’re a little surprised he likes it.

“What about you?”

You talk for the next hour or two, Jason chiming in periodically, until he points out that it’s getting dark and you should find somewhere to stay for the night. 

“Okay,” you reply, “pull over at the next truck stop.” 

They’re a little confused, but Jason complies and pulls over at the next gas station/convenience store you come across. They watch you get out of the car without a word and walk into the store. You approach a guy near a soda display. He has on a fedora and a shirt with a kids video game logo on it. He stares at you absolutely transfixed. They can’t hear what you’re saying, but he has a dopey grin on his face and nods his head a lot. Your hand touches his arm gently, and he laughs so loudly (and nervously) they hear it from the car. 

“Do I look that dumb around her?” Leo asks. 

You tilt your head and he blushes and nods again. He hands you something and a second later, you two walk to the counter. The cashier looks up startled, and tucks a strand of hair behind her ear. She stares at you for a second, then says something and fumbles with a cellphone you hand her. She hands you a paper a few seconds later. You give the guy his phone back. He walks to an ATM at the corner of the store. He walks over to you, but you’re in front of a display so they can’t see anything until you come back out. You get back in the car and hand Jason a piece of paper and a wad of cash.

“Got us a room at a Best Western like, ten minutes away. And some cash.” 

They stare at you in silence. You lean toward Jason. 

“The room is under your name, Kevin Grossman.” Leo bites back a laugh. 

You finally get to the hotel, and Jason flips on his turn signal to get into the parking lot. “Park at the Walmart over there,” you point a block or two up, “under a light.” He turns his blinker off. 

“Walmart doesn’t care if you park overnight. If someone sees our car at the parking lot of a hotel, we’re just leaving a target on our backs.” you explain. They don’t say anything. 

“You said monsters are after us, right?” 

“Yeah,” Leo said, “good thinking.” Jason agreed and you exit the car, remembering to grab the duffle bag with your clothes and other essentials. You all walk across the street to the hotel. You talk your way through checking in pretty easily. When the hostess asks to see your in app registry you hand her the printed ticket. “His phone died.” you say simply. The three of you are about to head up to your room, when you turn back to reception. You hesitate for a second, before leaning in to the receptionist.

“Can you put us as unlisted?” you ask quietly. 

“Of course,” she replies sincerely, “let me know if you need anything.”

On the way up to your room, you tell Jason and Leo that if anyone asks, you’re not here. They seem impressed. Your room has a small seating area with a couch, coffee table, coat rack, and a phone. Past the half wall are three beds, a desk, a TV, and a doorway you figure leads to the bathroom. You walk into the bathroom and touch the mirror. You notice the space between your finger and reflection, and move on. You call to Leo to turn off the lights. He and Jason share a look. You may be a little weird, and incredibly intimidating, but you haven’t steered them wrong yet. Leo hits the lights, and you said quietly, “Listen for any weird buzzing or beeping noises, and look out for any out of place lights,” you creep around the room very quietly. After a minute you turn the lights back on and look at the ceiling.

“What was that about?” Jason asks.

“Bugs,” you reply, not looking at him, “and not the fun kind,” you mutter. 

“Jason, can you reach that?” you point up at the smoke detector. He looked between you and the device on the ceiling. 

“Don’t think so.” You looked between him and Leo. Your head might hit the ceiling if you Jason gave you a boost, but you could probably access it fine with Leo’s help. 

“Leo,” you said, and he looked up from the wires he was fiddling with, “give me boost,” your gaze not leaving the smoke detector. He agrees, and you get up onto his shoulders. His hands rest just above your knees, and it takes all his focus to not burst into flames. You pop off the cover.

“This doesn’t look weird, right?” you ask him. He looks up and back at your face, hair angled down, and is reminded of the Spiderman kiss. He pushes away the thought and examines the smoke detector. 

“About as non-weird as a smoke detector can look,” he confirms, and helps you down. He’s incredibly impressed that you thought to look for bugs - even he hadn’t thought of that, and he’s a son of Hephaestus. 

“Where did you learn this stuff? The parking lot, being unlisted, checking for bugs?” You half exhale half scoff.

“When almost everyone in a five mile radius constantly wants to get in your pants, they can get… pushy… so you learn some stuff.” You grab your pajamas from your bag and head toward the bathroom. Leo and Jason meet eyes. It made more sense now, why you were always so intimidating. If he got constant unwanted attention, Leo would get pretty prickly, too. 

Once everyone had showered and gotten ready for bed, Jason pointed out someone should IM Chiron, but you were way too tired, and collectively agreed to update him in the morning. 

Right as he’s about to fall asleep, Leo feels like someone’s watching him. He opens his eyes, and sees Calypso’s face. His heart lurches. He pushes himself out of bed and sees the shimmery edges of the iris message. She opens her mouth and he holds a finger to his lips. He moves over to the couch, so he doesn’t wake the others. He sits down nervously.

“Hey, sunshine… I really miss you, what’s-” 

“Look, Leo, I… I can’t do this.” 

His stomach drops. 

He knows what’s happening. He had it coming, he knew that. He knew that this was probably inevitable. Still, that didn’t make it hurt any less. He tries to sputter out something, anything. Why, what, can he do anything to fix this, but he’s too choked up. 

“I need a break from this, from us…” she continues, “there’s so much of the world I haven’t seen yet, and you have your projects… I don’t want to hold myself back because I feel bad that you’re not with me. I want to experience everything.” He feels like he’s falling forward. His eyebrows knit and an unstoppable rush of memories of everyone who’s left him or kicked him out comes flooding back. 

“Calypso,” his voice cracks. He can’t finish the sentence. 

You wake up from the light sleep you had settled into, aware of an unfamiliar voice. You get up, throwing on the short black robe over your pajamas - despite their velvet material, the loose cami and shorts don’t provide much warmth. You tiptoe over to the seating area. Leo’s on the couch, staring at the floor. You walk up behind him and place a hand on his shoulder. 

“You okay?” you ask, your voice foggy with sleep. 

“Who-” you briefly see the unfamiliar voice is coming from a shimmery image of a pissed off girl floating in front of him, but he quickly swipes his hand through, and the image vanishes. He rubs his eyes and his hands come away damp. You stay quiet. You don’t want to make him feel worse. 

“Long day,” he mutters. He stands up and says goodnight without looking at you. You watch him get into bed, and you do the same. Even if you knew what was wrong, there wasn’t much you could do this late at night. You hope some rest makes him feel better, and tell yourself it’ll be dealt with in the morning. 

Maybe over coffee. 

You could use some coffee.

And it's the first time we see John have more emotions than his "drill sergeant that loves his sons" routine. We see him go through the stages of grief at light speed, and he stops at anger. And that's what drives him forward. (Also like... It was very emotional... Gave a weird vibe considering it's John... Like Jim meant more to him than "hunter friend" implies...) And now I just see Dean watching him, seeing how his dad reacts to grief. How he reacts to another man's death, a man that seems very important? And now it just makes me feel things on how Dean reacts later to death???

Fire Force: 1st thoughts/impression

Okay so I’ve been hearing some murmurs about this anime for a while but because I weird I move slow when it comes to new anime for some reason, mainly because I want something to binge. But since getting Hulu recently I’ve been watching a lot of nostalgic shows (Digimon s1-3 and Yuyu Hakusho along with some old school nickelodeon and cartooonnetwork shows) but I’ve decided to finally get around to watching something new for a change. I’m not done with season 1 (episode 12)yet so I’m just going to give some 1st impressions on a few characters. Just some general thoughts, I’m sure overall feelings will change as i finish what’s currently out so don’t get bent outta shape if I don’t like someone or mention someone. Also be respectful if you’re a manga reader.

World building: The whole people turning into infernals at the drop of a dime and killing other people and the rest of humanity seems to have all been clustered in some small ass piece of japan lowkey put me in the mind of AOT (humanity being behind walls, the monster being humans all along type shit) I went into this thinking the protagonist is some sort of form of internal with that logic.

Shinra: Sharp teeth. I’m not into the whole teeth thing (Rin from Free, Soul from Soul Eater, Kirishima are swell in their own way but i was never a fan of their teeth) I like his little ‘smile in tense situation quirk because bless his heart i know when he’s nervous or tense about something. He’s a good kid all the same and he lowkey gave me Izuku vibes because they want to be a hero but he also gives me Rin (Blue Exorcist) vibes because he gets a bad rep and being called Devil even though he’s really sweet and has a good character. Seeing him in action I can’t help but think how would he do in the my hero universe (he’d kick so much ass) Has a typical shonen protag tragic backstory about his mother and brother and so has a reason to be in the fire force, I like the drive to be a hero from that kid dream he had, I look forward to him finding the answers he seeks while also not looking forward to seeing him fight his kid brother (I fucking swear if he has to kill his own brother I will fucking scream)

Akitaru: Oh my god fucking hot, fucking cute that's my husbando right there. When he called Shinra’s smiling quirk cute I fucking melted. The Dad (and daddy) of this squad I see him looking out for the other and providing a solid foundation of justice. a swell guy that has the whole groups trust and respect and I just hope nothing happens to this man. When Joker gave Shinra a reason to doubt the fire force i was a little nervous but so far so good team 8 seems to have been formed for a specific reason bc the other teams are lowkey shady.

Hinawa: stereotypical glasses character, annoyingly strict, and give the mc a hard time. In comparison to captain he annoyed me, by putting down my boy Shinra without giving him a real chance, (it wasn’t Nighteye lvl of annoying  but still) but overtime I’ve warned up to him, I tend to like the glasses characters too (Kyoya...I blame Kyoya) so by this point I see he’s a caring individual in his own way, what sold me is when he pulls Shinra aside to check on him and ask if he was ok...also mans can cook so bonus.

Maki: Mikasa vibes, just a woman with some muscle but she seems very insecure about it. I like she’s such a romantic maiden at heart though. I like her Sputter flames, so cute it made me think of calsifer from Howl’s moving castle.

Iris: I took one look at her and went: a sister. oh fuck religion is going to be a big influence in this show. Ignoring my own personal bias feelings of religion it seems she serves the purpose of praying for the souls of those who turned nothing too special about her, she’s sweet even though she has her tragic backstory with everyone but her and Hibana watched the whole damn church burn. 

Arthur: Annoying. I thought he was gonna be some sort of edgy rival for Shinra since they seem to fight on sight. However he’s kinda this cute idiot. But his knight at the round table schtick is kinda aggy he reminds me of that one classmate in my class that took Shakespeare too seriously. Maybe he’ll warm up on me later he has got to be more than the idiot blond (maybe at some point they’ll drop a back story on him)

Tamaki: Adorable, her powers make her look like a twin tailed cat (I not sure but I think there is like fire yokai so it works for the fire theme of this show) and I love cats so she's adorable. However this trend of her being clumsy af all of a sudden and becoming undressed and/or being groped or touched by Shinra accidentally only for her to hit the hell out of him is a trope i kinda want to die already like it’s not even funny. I’m an elder weeb so i’m not new to this but idk if it just my old age but I’m kinda over it. So even though I found her so cute earlier she’s almost annoying me even though its not her fault its the creator. 

Hibana: Bad bitch, she had dudes as her chair and had dudes lined at her feet like a red (in this case orange) carpet. Love seeing a black woman thrive (she’s brown skinned or whatever so I’m claiming her as black until further notice).Stunning, only I hate the oddly shaped eyes (it works given her power is flowers and her eyes are in a shape of a flower) but it was jarring to see it. It reminded me of Nia teppelin (Gugrren laggan) did she make me wanna stomp her for messing with my boy Shinra? yes. But I kept wondering why was I so awed by her I looked up her VA and it made sense, fucking Riza Hawkeye and Erza Scarlett (I am watching it dubbed, blame Hulu for not letting me have an option for sub but its whatever I’m committing to the dub for now) and well I respected her more. Also love how she wasn’t actually into that religion stuff even though she was taken in by the sisters. Now her moment with Iris after she got her shit rocked, sweet, adorable, so cute. Also her sudden affections for Shinra going forward is cute not sure if I ship anyone at this point but adorable is adorable I can not deny that.

Rekka: My stars that annoying. I also cringed because it reminded me of (yagamiyato’siida if you know then you know) And again with the weird ass eyes its not missed on mean that Hoshi is means star and its a part of his surname. But he went from 0-100 real quick once I realized he’s who Shinra is looking for and once again  me being wary over religion is validated through the white coats or Evangelist running around turning people into infernals on purpose (once again we back on some AOT shit) this man is bat shit crazy but he somewhat succeeded I wonder what it means for that kid who happened to be compatible with that bug thing (and of course Shinra is special bc the bug reacted to his fire) anyway what I learned from this character than religion got this universe all the way fucked up and the direct result of this is that religion has a firm hold in government and I know this is not finna be good.

okay so the mist that comes up when Bark first says “laughter is the best medicine” plus the way Ms. Obianyo’s ensemble character Looks At Him plus the way Ms. Obianyo’s Ensemble Character and Mr. Maskell’s Ensemble Character stand next to each other plus the fact that this is all Barkilphedro telling the story of events he perpetrated and whatnot just generally the whole look of the bit gives me Feelings like these particular two ensemble characters are almost sort of the ghosts of Gwyn’s mom and kinda sorta who Gwyn could’ve been but also not but also Kinda

So I had a weird af dream last night

I was with at least three other people, I don’t know them, but I trusted them enough to turn my back to them. We were wandering through a darkened, misty town, and at one point we ended up outside what I Knew was a Costco though there were no visual cues to declare it as such. There were twisted creatures wandering through the mist, lit at random by the LED parking lot lights. For some reason, the bathrooms were accessible?? from outside??? and one of them was up a fire escape flight of stairs. There was a man singing and squelching noises coming from downstairs in what I felt was the men’s room, and I decided to check out the women’s room up the stairs while my companions debated going in to talk to the thing inside because... we.. had.. to? IDK there was something we needed from him. Anyway things get real fuzzy until I come out and I see this thing come out of the bathroom below through the metal grate of the stairs. It’s probably 7 feet tall, a fleshy, hairless pink. It’s arms were stunted and ended in deformed two fingered, clawed hands like lobster claws. I knew it was gonna see me and I was alone, so I. just. walked down the wall??? Like total vampire from Van Helsing style. We made eye contact and it had one, giant, rolling blue eye in it’s head above this gaping, lip-less maw of rows upon rows of teeth like a lamprey. There was just a moment where I’m frozen in fear, then I wander into the men’s room where everybody is having this big powwow with this twisted dude who may or may not be a personification of slaughter who is just messing with a giant pile of pulsating meat. Don’t remember if I ever actually saw him? Just got happy radio drama vibes and the threat of unhinged violence. Anyway, my companions were debating something and trying to come to some deal with the dude?? idk so I wander back outside, alone, past the cyclops, which starts following me into the Costco parking lot. I turn around and there’s another eyeball in my hand???? Like, this was a planned thing, creation of eyeball from nothing was a conscious choice I made. It’s wet and looking at things and has a green iris. I hand it to the Cyclops, who is openly taken aback. I then complemented the cyclops and said its blue eye is very pretty and it deserves to have more pretty things, and it dksjladk fluttered like it was all bashful???? and waved its free stubby little arm around like ‘oh stop’. Then it got Way Too Close to the point where I internally am panicking and had to put my hands against its squishy, possibly partially rotting torso before I regain control of myself and pretend that I’m not Totally Freaking Out. Then it put it’s little lobster-claw hand on my face and cut three lines into my chin with its thumb. As it did, I Felt it speak, and it said: “You are well-suited to the mark of the slaughter, though you are a credit to The Lady.” Then it gave me a human eyeball complete with optic nerve that was definitely still alive, which I put behind my ear like a flower, then it left somehow and I ended up back in the bathroom with everyone else with blood dripping down my face and the thing in there that-may-or-may-not-be-a-entity-of-violence was tickled pink by the marking and said something that seemed very plot-relevant at the time, but I couldn’t remember upon waking. Just before I woke up I remember worrying that I didn’t know who The Lady was, but that it must be related to how I Knew to create a gift for the creature, and how I was capable of Creating one at all, though that instinct seemed unimportant at the time. TL;DR: I may have just been blessed by a god of violence because I had the audacity to compliment it and try and manipulate it to do what I wanted.

I finished Final Fantasy 7 Remake

Long story short, I loved it!! So much!! And there’s alot I wanna rant about so here we are. A review of sorts?? Major spoilers ahead! 

And if y’all think you’re immune to spoilers because you played the original FF7, YOU ARE NOT. Lots of new stuff here....just warning y’all.

Although! I did find this great looking walkthrough playlist if anyone’s interested and can’t play the thing themselves? Idk how complete it is with the details, but from a glance it looks nice! 

- FIRST OF ALL the music in it all is amazing!!! From the menu song all throughout, I got Emotional. All the rehashings of Aerith’s theme?? Tifa’s theme?? The FF7 main theme here are there?? AMAZING!!!! I need to find a tracklist or something there are so many versions of the songs specific to the scenes they played in and I die??? Man it is Good. 

- On the music front, I really enjoyed the Jukebox feature! So they could add in old classic songs that story-wise couldn’t appear yet...good nostalgia there. 

- Lil disclaimer, I played the original FF7 fairly recently, on Steam. HOWEVER. I played Crisis Core years ago, and watched Advent Children, etc. And Final Fantasy music has been a staple homework playlist for me for ages now.... So yes I’m new to the whole FF7 original story. But not new in how most people are...it’s a weird situation lol. Like I knew the general FF7 story for awhile but just recently filled the details....

- The gameplay is awesome!! I wasn’t great at it, but...tbh it felt like mechanics combo of the original FF7, FF15, annnnd Kingdom Hearts :D Also appreciated it PAUSED when you picked out commands lol. Loved upgrading weapons. Loved working with materia. I wish there were like...ways to save a materia set so you could easily switch over when your characters were switched out though X’’’’D 

- Biggs is Aro/Ace

- Cloud is VERY Aro/Ace

- Tifa might be Ace

- I decided long ago (in my Crisis Core phase) that Sephiroth is Aro/Ace. There’s nothing to “prove it” in this game but I’m holding to it. I have claimed these characters askjdhuiwdhguerhgr

- Side note, slightly related, but I love how the relationships shone in this remake?? Lots of casual, comfortable touch with Tifa and Cloud (in which Cloud seems in general pretty touch averse due likely to Trauma) in a “we’ve known each other our whole lives” way and gosh I love them. Aerith with Cloud is adorable. Barret!!! Was characterized SO WELL here, and I love him way more than I ever did!! Barret and Tifa interactions as well were so heartfelt and wonderful aaaaaa how good

- Like...Barret haaaates Cloud in the beginning. But somewhere along the way he adopts Cloud instead and ain’t that fantastic?? He just can’t contain how much he cares about others and especially his daughter and goSH I love him. 

- Aerith!! I love her!! She gave such a vibe that she knows more than she says, but is still so cute and sweet and sassy I LOVE!!!! Also that scene in the train graveyard with baby Aerith ;;~;;

I feel some stuff was lost in translation while playing FF7 original, and it felt alot more put together, character-wise, here. I feel like some of that was learned from FF15 and its success with character relationships?? It was Good. 

_ I rambled about this before, but Wall Market was every bit as embarrassing as you would think. *covers face*

- Also I thought it was interesting how they handled who was in your party when! A little annoying sometimes though, switching materia around!!! DX I also really wanted to actually PLAY Red XIII/Nanaki....but sure make him an NPC, whatever. (I am grateful he healed me often.)

- *me when Nanaki shows up* AAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! THERE HE IS!!!!!!! (sidenote, in the original, I didn’t wanna call him by his experiment name. He’s the only character I changed the name of. The name I picked? Ignis. :”D )

- The motorcycle segments were ANNOYING AS HECK, especially that last one in escaping the Shinra building DX The game forced your camera to focus on the boss and that made the controls VERY ANNOYING. Cool to watch tho.

- I actually almost completed the game boss fight chain early last night!! But RIGHT when I got to Sephiroth, the family demanded I get off the TV for their use D: all that progress....I had to redo ALOT. DX 

- STILL the fights were VERY cool! Reminded me of KHII end alot actually, jumping around on broken floating buildings and whatnot?? Also the creature looked like a HUGE DARKSIDE heartless lol

- There’s actually alot in this remake that gives alot of a KH feel to me?? Nomura I see you....

- *screeching the One Winged Angel theme still not knowing the words* 

- I LOVED how they showed scenes of the future in the end?? Probably ripped from Advent Children, but?? The characters actually seeing that?? Going “this CAN’T be our future!!” Yo. Also it’s implied it might not HAPPEN now going against destiny and all. I know alot of people are pissed but I am EXCITED. I’m all for a fix-it fic game thank YOU. 

- Speaking of fix-it: ZACK. ZAAAAAACK!!!!!! It’s implied he’s alive in one reality so WHERE IS HE??????? I’m so curious about this new story. I’m gonna eat up theories. I want!! To see!! My baby boy!!!!!! to be Fair (haha) I spoiled myself knowing he was in the game but I didn’t know WHEN!!!

- This is terrible, but I love how much they expressed how NOT OK Cloud is. His mental state is awful, but boi won’t talk about it. 

- Like I know it’s in the original, but it comes up ALOT more in the remake, and the flashbacks/brain short out moments are more obvious in HD for sure. Plus Cloud’s eyes seem more green there, which is a great touch!! Also the incredible FORESHADOWING it brought. Love it. Please someone help this idiot with his headaches....

- I did get annoyed with the whole scene in Hojo’s lab. Cloud’s walking like a zombie toward where Jenova is, saying CONCERNING things, and NO ONE reaches out until he outright collapses? We all just gonna stand back and watch?? Sure ok. 

- Hojo is absolutely disgusting and horrifying and exactly how I imagined him, creators did great job.

- Also why does no one use curaga in these character death scenes???? Potion? Anything????Hello??????

- I was so relieved Wedge (and one of his 3 cats) got to live, and then devastated when they chucked him out a window last minute ;;A;; still. I didn’t see a body. Maybe he’s ok.....*sobs*

- I WAS NOT EXPECTING BIGGS TO BE SEEN IN RECOVERY THO YEEEEESSSSS (I love ANY sign that they DID manage to change the future a little...I thought he was dead!!) Fun fact! The one part I legitimately started crying was when Biggs “died”! Hhhhhhhhhh

- Those dang dementors huh? X’’’D Whispers of fate...there to make sure the story goes according to the original game basically. Does that make the whispers the purist fans of FF7? ...please don’t kill me for that comment sidfiushguigerha

- I just wanna say making a game ABOUT making a remake (that is different from the original) and the struggles in that is VERY meta and so clever and delightful and I LOVE IT. I really wanna see what happens next....

All in all I spent 52 hours on this game. WAY more than I expected for only covering Midgar. And I ENJOYED it!! Some parts felt like the story was being dragged/padded, but most of the time I didn’t care. Also there’s even more to do?? Apparently I missed some scenes....I don’t have time for now, but maybe someday. Or maybe I’ll just look them up ;;7;;

I have a super flirty personality but since I do it unknowingly or ironically sometimes, when people take it seriously I freak out and run away.
