OK I’M DOING IT I’M CAVING

BAD BATCH EPISODE PREDICTIONS:

Heads up I haven’t seen any leaks or researched anything so this probably won’t be accurate pshkssbks (also no spoilers, just trailer references!)

First off, Ep3: The Solitary Clone??? Who??? I’ve seen some people theorizing that this could be Crosshair which would be SO EXCITING LIKE PLEASE!!! I WANT TO SEE HIMMMM. It could also be Rex, Cody, or Wolffe which would be great too (It better not mean Echo is leaving because omg I WOULD SOB NO)

Ep4: Faster To me this seems like it’s probably where we see Tech pod racing, I mean it just makes sense right? I think it’s either that or the Batch has to physically work faster due to the Empire finding out they’re still alive or something.

Ep5: Entombed omg fear. What is that. What does that MEAN. Please tell me it’s just like a semi-filler episode where some of them get trapped in a cave or something normal please let it be something normal and not absolutely devastating mr filoni please 🫠🫠🫠

Ep6: Tribe This one could be really cute!! I feel like this is either referring to the Batch, some actually tribe they meet, or maybe Rex’s group?? Idk, but it seems pretty tame to me :)

Ep7: The Clone Conspiracy and Ep8: Truth and Consequences no. no stop THATS SO MEAN. THATS JUST CRUEL OMG. I feel like this is a direct connection to the Fives arc in TCW and THERE BETTER BE A NAME DROP PLEASE but also IM SO SCARED. On one hand it’s two episodes so yayyy!! But on the other, this really seems like it either has to do with the chips and Fives or some big secret/misunderstanding that might cause some serious tension within the Batch.

Ep9: The Crossing I mean come on. There’s no way this isn’t a play with Crosshairs name, why would this be the title if it’s not. I’m thinking this could be where Crosshair comes back (please), or maybe just Hunter and the Batch finally dealing with the fact that he left in the first place. Or maybe Crosshair is forced to work together with them again for a bit somehow? Or they just cross a big chasm or something and Crosshair is there. Could just be that.

Ep10: Retrieval ITS CROSSHAIR RIGHT. THEY’RE RETRIEVING CROSSHAIR THATS WHO IT IS RIGHT PLEASE I’M BEGGING. I think it’s either that or the Batch goes on some typical retrieval mission and along the way either rescues one of the Batch members from danger or maybe some other person (gungi?)

Ep11: Metamorphosis This could refer to so many things, but I think it might be the whole batch or just one member having a sort of revelation like:

If it’s the whole batch, maybe they’ll change and decide to join the fight against the Empire together

Omega: this could be her learning more about the world and maybe pushing back against Hunter to decide things for herself or disagree with what he wants to do

Cody?: I feel like this could be him breaking free of the control chip, maybe turning on/leaving the empire

It could also be Hunter finally deciding to have the batch join the rebellion, or Crosshair coming back (pleASE), or Echo leaving to join the rebellion alone (NO)

Ep12: The Outpost This one comes out the day before my birthday WOOO!!! My first thought here was Rishi Station, but honestly that connection is pretty unlikely. It could be Rex’s base or maybe the building we saw Cody walking up to in the trailer?

Ep13: Pabu what. is that a guy or…

Ep14: Tipping Point oh this could be so many things. It could be Cody and Crosshair fighting and one of them choosing a side, it could be one of them dying (omg no) making the others more determined to fight the empire, it could be Crosshair coming back (PLS), it could be Echo deciding to leave and join Rex with the rebellion (DONT), it could literally be so many things. In any case, it’s clearly the lead up to/start of the big end conflict, so it’s safe to assume something serious is going down and I’m scared.

Ep15: The Summit and Ep16: Plan 99 Honestly, I have no clue. Big conflict, some crazy Bad Batch plan, my only hope is that it requires Crosshair meaning we get him back by then? Hopefully it’s not like a last resort kind of plan meaning bad things are going to happen but I mean this is star wars, I can only expect pain.

Anyway, that was so long I seriously doubt anyone will read all this but if you have any other predictions I’d love to hear them! I always think these are so fun :)

I ll give some. Some Japanese fans are confused why Endeavor overreacted to AFO. Otherwise majority posts are antis who have come out of the woodworks. These I won't coz it's depressing. Among nonantis, some critical are just salty. Wondering whats going on in a final arc and why Hori couldn't just chose between going for KusoDVman or atonement instead of swing towards former and needing to overdo punishment. Some are like it's best the twisted relationship between him and Hawks concludes

Hawks relation is one-sided and imaginary. He sees Endeavor as the hero and wants to support that hero Endeavor for the good of many people even if it means sacrifing himself for both. "I cannot replace Endeavor to you but I can support you" it's good tokoyami can be such a person for hawks instead of the doll who can answer who saves the hero. But seems hawks cannot be for Endeavor who cannot hear him anymore and their relationship is too twisted on a misunderstanding on hawks part. If he can

If hawks can easily turn his back to prioritise peace isn't that he can for Endeavor? Seeing only in win or loss for professional peace, hawks needs him to the hero who inspired him and share his ideal. But afo says ende longing for power twisted so it was selfish kuso all along. Ende is weak nd sensitive he isn't meaning to but he's disappointing both shoto nd hawks by not being wat they want even though hawks will never leave his side. I don't think that Enji overreacting to OFA is a bad idea but I think it was awfully delivered. He is characterised as a man who just losses it when his family is in danger. He couldn't move when Natsuo was hurt, the same happened during Dabi's reveal. It is his weakness but not a flaw. I don't feel like it's something that needs fixing or that it was ever presented as something that needs fixing so seeing him overreact is, well, expected. AFO abusing this weakness is classic, Enji overreacting is too but because we do not see any inner dialogue it all feels quick and confusing and worst of all it feels like a cheap trick to remove Enji and make way for a new generation. It would be in character for him to react like this. It also can make sense story-wise (idk what happens next) but the way it is, it was very dissatisfying because for some reason instead of Enji's inner dialogue we listened to Hawks's perspective the entire time

To be fair, Enji's lack of interest in Hawks does make it seem very one-sided. That could have been easily fixed if they shared a few moments as a big three (filler episode yay). And then it could have been displayed as Enji listening to Hawks but still losing it at some point but we wouldn't see it because the entire chapter is from Hawks's perspective for some reason (why????? At least split it)

It is also funny how everyone is like "oh no Enji's falling! Anyway Tokoyami and Jirou are here to save the day" like c'mon man!??

I don't think Enji is disappointing anyone. I understand what trope Horikoshi tried to play out but it was awful, it sucked so much ass. But I liked the idea.... Maybe if instead of focusing on Dabi vs Shouto first and on Enji+Hawks vs AFO second, maybe it would be better if the two fights happened more parallel and at the same time we would see AFO saying he took Touya's body we would see the reaction from Endeavor and at the very same moment a reaction from Shouto. But then it would be striking out how quickly Endeavor lost so I would prolong the fight and perhaps add something more, or maybe just show Enji losing before Shouto winning, so we first focus on Enji and then on Shouto

In short, shite

Like, c'mon if you show us someone being provoked you gotta show us what they are going through on the inside that is the juice

🍊 Who’s a character you don’t write for that often, but keep meaning to write for more? (They’re so interesting! But maybe you have trouble pinning them down, or keep getting distracted by another blorbo…)

honestly right now i'm itching to write more lip pov fics (centered around gallavich of course) but i keep getting distracted with all my other fic ideas lately. idk i just think lip pov is kinda fun to write because he has such a unique dynamic with both ian and mickey, and it just makes for a really interesting perspective

also missing joshdonna hours in my head lately, but my other blorbos have just completely taken up all available brain space when it comes to writing and reading. but i'm sure one day the brain worms will come back for them. they always do.

🍐 Is there anything in canon that you absolutely hate and love to fix in fics? A wrong choice made, a fuck-up in characterization, a misunderstanding never cleared up, a conversation never shown onscreen, etc…

god where to even begin. there's so much. in every fandom. i am no stranger to a fix-it fic or a filler fic, we all know this.

the first one that comes to mind is one that i haven't written yet, but i want to. something in either prison era or early s10 where gallavich actually has a full conversation about all the shit that's happened to them over the last ~5 years. from the breakup to mexico to gay jesus to cell mate era to finally being out and together again in the southside. like, i get that it was easier for the show to just shove them together again and not waste time explaining literally anything, knowing we would (and did) eat it up anyways, but still. i want them to have that cathartic moment. in a perfect world i would've put it in early s10, but i can also see them just ignoring most of that shit until eventually, some time post-canon, it catches up to them and they have to hash it all out.

there are so many filler fics i wanna write for conversations not shown on screen. i have a list, it's over 50 ideas long. i'm working on it.

but my biggest grievance is obviously just mickey not being there for so many seasons. i have like, half an outline for a s6 re-write i might attempt one day. who knows. there's so much potential there, and i think when i get there in my re-watch it's gonna make me wanna write it even more.

for my non-shameless friends out there, y'all know i still love a filler or fix-it fic no matter what fandom it's in, but i think my favorite one i've done is my tww s6 gaza arc fic. fixed that shit real quick. that was a fun write, i love that fic.

I find it weird that it seems like most people in the fandom agree that we miss having more improv lore even though we do appreciate the more structured scripted lore as well, but then I see some people calling L’sandburg filler just because Wilbur isn’t writing it. L’sandburg is a perfect example of fully improv lore and while it doesn’t have to be treated with 100% narrative weight, it’s still Foolish and BBH’s right to improv their own lore if they want. Even if Wilbur’s back writing, he’s still not the main writer for every plot (Ponk and Puffy have both been working on their own solo lore for months for example.) IDK I just think it’s really weird that so many people agree they miss having fully improv lore included, but then some just look at the L’sandburg plot and assume it doesn’t matter so they just disregard it completely? It can be a fun side story, which is what I think of it as, and still not be filler.

This is about this ask game! Reply under the cut because this is going to be long.

Fairy Tail:

Favorite character: Erza. Least Favorite character: Oh boy. Zeref maybe? 5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Jerza, Gruvia, elfgreen, Miraxus, and LyonxJuvia. (though I only really ship Jerza) Character I find most attractive: Lyon. Character I would marry: No one honeslty. Most of them are fun to be with but not really husband material. Character I would be best friends with: I wouldn’t mind be friends with Lucy, I think we’d get along. A random thought: This is just a vague question. I think Fairy Tail might be one of the best anime, not because it’s Good, but it really let every character develop, even “weak and useless” ones and I’m a sucker for the Friendship and reedemed villains tropes and unlike what most people think I like how it treated its female characters, they always had something to do and were equals to their male companions, they weren’t there just for healing and cheering on the main character. An unpopular opinion: Natsu is overrated as heck in the fandom and so is NaLu, and they give too much importance to romance when romance was never the point of the show to begin with. My Canon OTP: Jerza. My Non-canon OTP: I don’t really have one. I mention in other posts that I’m not much of a shipper. Most Badass Character: Gajeel maybe. I’m also partial to Ultear’s Time Magic, too bad it didn’t effect living things so it wasn’t as badass as it could have been. Most Epic Villain: My fav villain was Cobra and his powers are very cool (he can tell what people think, damn it). Pairing I am not a fan of: Gajevy. Why is it even a thing? He nailed her to a tree and no one sees an issue with that. Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): I’m rather happy with how the characters were handled, but I wish we got to know were Aquarius is (though I feel that’s gonna be explained in the sequel). Favourite Friendship: Saying that I like the Found Family that is the Fairy Tail guild would be too cliché, so I’m going with the Jellal-Ultear-Meredy guild, besides the relationship itself I like the concept behind it. Character I most identify with: Lucy maybe? Not much but that’s the closest I got. Character I wish I could be: Natsu. He’s always so carefree and he’s always so confident in what he is doing.

MarsFana:

When I started shipping them: Since pretty early on, since the Dungeon arc. My thoughts: It’s a really cute ship. I feel like I’d ship it a lot more if they’d come back and we got more content for them. What makes me happy about them: That they finally have a shot at being together. What makes me sad about them: That they aren’t together. Things done in fanfic that annoys me: I don’t read fanfics so idk Things I look for in fanfic: As above. If I were to look for one though I’d look for a modern AU. My wishlist: Getting more of them in canon or in these fillers. That’s really all I’m asking. Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: No one? Generally, I’d like for them to find someone and be happy I guess, but there’s no character I’d ship them with as of now. My happily ever after for them: After fixing things in the DIamond Kingdom, they leave it and its politics and just see the world together. When they inevitably need to settle down, it would be nice it they became instructors for the army and helped in raising a new generation of magic knights -in the right way, of course.

Zora:

How I feel about this character: I don’t hate him and I don’t like him. He’s okay. Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: Age difference aside, I’d ship him with Noelle and with Mereoleona. Now, it’s clear one of these two ships must be problematic from an age point of view but I’m not sure how old Zora actually is. My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: Even non romantically, I like his dynamics with Mereo. I also like his friendly banter with Asta. My unpopular opinion about this character: He could try to be less of a dick. One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Show us more BB-Zora bonding moments. For now, it doesn’t really feel like he’s part of the fam. Favorite friendship for this character: I don’t know what to reply to this one help. My crossover ship: Same as above.

Rock Lee ( I assumed you intended it as two separate character and not as in GaaraxRock Lee. Sorry if you didn’t mean it like this. I always misunderstand when there’s two way to read something lol):

How I feel about this character: I really like him!! They did my boy so dirty, he deserved so much more screentime and so much better in general. Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: I’d say Sakura but since she picked a-hole Sasuke over him she really doesn’t deserve him. So I’ll go with TenTen. My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: His father-son relationship with Gai. My unpopular opinion about this character: I don’t believe this is an unpopular opinion, but HE DESERVED BETTER. One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I just wish he had any plot relevance after the Chunin Exams, am I asking too much? Favorite friendship for this character: Neji. My crossover ship: Never considered this before, but I’ll go with Asta because they have so much in common (Workout addicts, no magic/no chakra, want to prove you can be strong even if you don’t have magic/chakra etc)

Gaara: How I feel about this character: I luv him. My favorite character in the series. Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: There was a time I shipped him with Fu, but that was long ago and honestly I forgot some parts of Naruto shippuden (that’s why I’m currently rewatching it lol) and besides I only ever watched a filler episode, I think it was a weird Killer Bee’s dream, with the two of them together. My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: The sibling bonds he manages to build with Kankuro e Temari. My unpopular opinion about this character: I love him but he was really a bad person in Naruto, doesn’t matter how bullied or alone you are, you can’t crush people for the funsies. I feel like not enough people think ths is true. Also, whose idea was it to let him lead an army when there are more skilled and experienced Kages? One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I lowkey wanted a canon ship for him. Possibly more screentime. Favorite friendship for this character: Naruto duh. My crossover ship: None really.

Okay but who’s next?

I’ve been thinking with what happened with Lars in the latest episodes, I really would not be surprised if the other regulars of Beach City start getting involved in the main plot (whether they want to or not).

I mean, of the humans, Lars actually had lots of development before this point, usually in the form of showing his anxiety and his desire to be liked but self-sabotaging because of his own insecurity and acting like a jerk as a defense a lot of the time. This is also why I’m wondering where people saying his development in Wanted came out of nowhere are getting that idea, but that’s besides the point here. My actual point is that the Beach City episodes aren’t and have never been useless filler. They’ve been about establishing the norm of Earth as Steven knows it and the characters important to Steven. And also about developing those characters.

Lars’s character development has lead to, well, this. It started with him being afraid that the cool kids wouldn’t like him so not talking to them and expecting them to notice him on their own. It started with him being very self conscious and tearing up a photo leading to a fallout with one of his only friends because Ronaldo wouldn’t listen to his fear of being seen like that. It lead to him almost being brave enough to go to a pot luck with the cool kids but running away at the last minute. But when it came to a head, it also lead to him learning that he isn’t useless and that it’s okay to be scared and gaining courage in the process of standing up for other outsiders. And there’s still development to come (he has new powers, is in a new, unfamiliar situation, and has to cope with the fact that he died). Whether he likes it or not, he’s kinda stuck being involved with the larger plot around him.

So now I’m wondering about whether we’ll see the other normal Beach City residents become more involved as well. They have established characters reasons, after all, and they’re probably going to at least feel the aftereffects of the latest events. Many of them were directly dragged in by Topaz and Aquamarine. Will Connie (not really a “normal” since she’s already been involved for a while now) push her training harder because she got captured?

More interestingly, how will Sadie react? Is she still angry at Lars for running or is she worried? When she eventually learns what happened on Homeworld, will she want to get involved and learn to combat gems like Connie? We’ve seen her take out a corrupted gem before, after all. She’s also gotten a lot of development as a character, putting her narrativly in a similar position to Lars. The fallout of the events will also have the potential to give her motive to get more involved.

What about the other humans? I’m not sure if Jamie has had enough individual development for something major to shift for him, but it’s possible. The cool kids will certainly notice Lars’s absence, but I’m not sure if their individual development is major enough for anything big yet (I’ll be keeping an eye out for any increase in focus-episodes for them). Onion might be safer due to his age. But honestly, I’d imagine Ronaldo might be more involved. He’s had a lot of episodes focused on how he manages to completely miss the point when others’ feelings are involved, so maybe something to push him into realizing that his obliviousness to others in pursuit of The Truth might have actual consequences might happen. Maybe involving Peedee?

Idk, I’m mostly just guessing things, but I feel like the season premier event was about showing that the long-term established normal can be shaken for any character. Steven’s going to get a pretty rough awakening at how much the gem war wasn’t “good” and how the repercussions are going to continue. This is going to be how he learns the gem war wasn’t from a misunderstanding that can be patched up easily now that they’ve established anyone can be fair game. Other than maybe the corruption of a long-term gem ally, I think the best candidates for the next disruption to that are Sadie or Ronaldo (and Peedee).

Digimon tri: Loss rant aka butthurt

So there are things that bothers me a lot about these Digimon tri movies and this movie, well lets just say its teh drop that tipped the glass. I dont really like rewieving things..but i am very passionate for digimon, so i suppose this will do.

So what is there to say about Digimon tri? or spesifically... loss? hehe loss..more like loss of my intrest in these movies..

TLDR; the movie is long, boring, little action, meiko is shit as always, the conflict with sora, tai and matt doesnt exist, some scenes go nowhere and are more filler then plot, still questions left unanswered, 02 kids are dead and gone and nobody cares at this point, and shitty, limited, boring, bland and dissapoiunting animation.

Anyhow where do i even start? first i suppose i should start off by saying the things i DO like about this movie. I did enjoy seeing tai more in the spotlight, and it was nice seeing tai, matt and sora talk again. And not to mention, digivolutions! Where most of the digis became ultimate! hell yeah! and my boi machinedramon, i always loved that fella. And more digi kaiser?? YES PLS FUEL MY NEEDS FOR FOOTAGE!! and of course, the animation was well done with the fight scenes and the action was really neat! My favorite part of the movie was the last part.

and now, onto the... MANY many problems these movies had, with none other then shitty animation, awkward scenes, bad art styles, scenes that go nowhere, meiko, and FILLER!! clench your asshole because this is going to be a long one...

Ok so we start off the movie strong. This flashback goes well with me because its this old timey wimey film effect, and we get to see the backstory of himekawa and black hair teacher typography mcgee, i forgot his name..anyway thats cool, we get plot! and then cuts to meiko being left out with her dark evil special digital device. GOOD. she has no way to enter now. she should be left out like the shitty written character she is. im glad shes out.. but would i be like this for long?? NOPE, NOT HERE IN DISSAPOINTMENT LAND I WONT!!

So then we get tehse cute bonding scenes, which are just very nice. its good they take their time with these, and boy....do they take their time :))))) the shitty happy music desu comes so abruplty that you just sit back and say “nice here it is.” so the rest of the digimon get along just fine with the kids again, which is nice i guess....except for pyokomon or whatever. For some reason she is the ONLY CONVENIENT one that wont like her. now, im fine with this, because things never happen the same way twice. however, she is THE ONLY ONE, and the others open very fast, so why?? eh whatever wont bother explaining too much about that ;))

so after this kawaii desuka moment, after toei “””””””””””””””animation”””””””””””””””” show us a slideshow of their best drawings of the kids just sitting there, with no movement, we get on with it.

There is one thing i learned in animation class, and that is that YOU NEVER HAVE ONE STILL FRAME in animation, and these movies have a lot of them, and so fucking shittly placed as well. Just sometimes to save time, or just because lazyness, the animators just pan a akward still filler frame. i know things are hard, and horrible in NEY-HON, especially with animation, but for gods sake i cant help but go “animation is hard XDDdDdDD” whenever watching these movies....because sometimes....SOMETIMES.......

anyway so onto the story, “special super powerful” meikoomon appears, crying because she is adult and remembers meiko. why, you ask?? WHY??????? WELL who cares stfu. so she runs away and jumps into a distortion. did she make it? did the digital world provide her with some? will we get answers??

so then, PTaiSD starts doubhting if we can save the special boy cat, and Yamaha has to of course get angry about every single little thing tai does, and walks off in a huff. Was this scene forced like all hell?? is yamiffedo being a bitch for no reason?? Yes. yes he was. at this point, it feels like they just put this here to give matt a reason to be angry because they have nothing left to bitch about to eachother, or yashitto just wont let up. either way, it is so frustrating..but i digress.

we also cut to black haired crocks wearing mcgee again, in and out, of him saying “i cant figure this out” and we get told this 2 times. ... ANYYYWAYYYY then the kids remember their personalities again and tai suggests we do something now, and the digimon digivolved. HURRAH!”

byomon is still not trusting sora, which is fine i guess bonds take time, and they did take their time, which was fine. so they keep cutting to this trolly, the one they slept in in digimon adventure. HEY GUYS, REMEMBER THE TROLLY???? REMEMBER DIGIMON 01?? WASNT THAT SERIES COOL???

special OP baby cat meikomon just sits and laments because she cant find meiko, so she gets all infected and fucks up everything again, making the reboot for NUFFIN if she keeps this up. BUTT WAIT, why does she still have this infection?????? OH NO SHE TURNED EVIL AGAIN!!!! but does the movie explain??

so here we are with the blank kids club as izzy expositions the shit out of the other kids, which is nice. its nice to get plot... BUT ITS NOT THE PLOT WE ACTUALLY NEED, just...just a little bit of it. just a little bit.......... anyway everyone cuberbullies meiko and basically says that she is a shit and wont fit in here because all she would do is cry or fuck up something beyond repair. that is what she would do.

so then sora walks off and sits by a trunk and is sad because her tamagotchi doesnt like her anymore. BUT.......and this is a big but...Taishit and Yaman come to the rescue. BUT...they are both stupidly blank and doesnt know waht the fuck to do or say, but they try. how will they tackle this point??

So basically sora is suprised to figure out that tai and matt cant read her mind, and just runs off and is understandably angry about the situation. so as tai and matt is visibly upset they cant fix this, which you couldnt tell because their expressions are about as vibrant as a piece of wood, Taichi basically says something good for once. Sora spends her times worrying about other people and doesnt say anything about her own worries. which is....good??????

im sorry but to me thats not good at all. if you fix everyone elses problem, and you shut your own problems inside, you are going to suffer. THIS IS NOT A GOOD THING HOLY FUCK WHAT KIND OF MESSAGE IS THAT??!?!?!?!? unless i am completly misunderstanding this kind of behaviour but to me, this is not good. fuck that shit. so that scene ends. nothing gets resolved. then finally, after fucking FOREVER with filler scenes and awkward crappy animation, machinedramon finally appears and is here to fucking kill this second hand emberassment. they run from him, and the others see whats going on. so then they try to do something and fails, and then meikoomon isnt evil anymore...........????? and then something which i think is one of the biggest, STUPIDEST cop puts of all time happens.

macinedramon shoots them at point blank, and really hard and long too, like so long the camera makes sure to show ALL of their faces as they slowly burn to death by the giant super death cannon...and so they all get fucking obliterated and die... EXCEPT THEY DONT!!!!!!!!!! A DISTORTION PORTAL APPEARS AND JUST... TROWS THEM ACROSS THE ENTIRE ISLAND!!!! AND THE KIDS ARE ALSO UNHARMED!?”!?”?!?

WHAT THE FUYCK IS THAT SHIT?!?!??! WHY DID THE DISTORITON APPEAR??? WHO MADE IT?? WAS IT MEIKOOMON??? EXPLAIN!!! EXPLAIN FOR FUCKS SAKE IM TOO AUTISTIC TO UNDERSTAND THIS DEEP LEVEL OF STORY TELLING!!!

oh and we get a cute flashback to actually knowing what himekawa wanted. she just wanter he digimon back.......which is why she acted this way all along? so she could get her stupid digimon back=??? thats why she had to act like she was secretly the one fucking everything up?? ....eh idk ANYWAY

byomon sees sora cry and decides wew lad....that changes everything.,..so that scene ends, and what does byomon find?????? WELL WOW ITS MEIKO WHO JUST FELL INTO THE DIGITAL WORLD JUST BECAUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!

it was at this point i got really upset with this crappy movie. The scenes drag on for too long, scenes just end and go nowhere, and GOD DAMN IT IM SORRY FOR SAYING THIS BUT MEIKO IS A FUCKING MARY SUE. she is such a classic example of shittily written self insert characters that it fucking hurts. if i wanted to read your shitty digimon fanfiction from 2008 then i would of done that. Its fucking insane to see this level of writing from a professional writing team, holy fuck.

and then........this.......this takes the cake.... fucking tai and kari are together. finally, they get to talk a little about things, like for example bringing up whats bothering tai all this time, or why he has to be such a tittybaby with yamato, or maybe have a little chat about character development. but no we dont get none of that. shitty sad music plays and....no tai just says “oh man im so angry i didnt make it” and kari says “its ok” and then tai just looks down.... AND THEN THATS IT!!! ....OK??

so then a whole lot of fucking nothing happens for a while, and i mean, they just.....dont say ANYTHING worthwhile. tai goes all “man i wish tai would read my mind and not be an asshole. my name IS MATT AND I JUST CANT TALK TO MY FRIENDS SO I WALK AROUND LIKE AN ANGRY PISSY BABY BECAUSE THATS MY TRAIT, WHICH IS NOT FRUSTRATING AND TIRED AT ALL”

and byomon being a little warmer, going to meiko just because shes a cunt at this point, like now shes just being a dick, and generally everyone just walking around having a grand ol time. i guess its nice, and cool and all...but it drags ON FOR TOO LONG WE DONT NEED THIS LEVEL OF CALM WHEN YOU HAD ONE ACTION SCENE TROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE MOVIE!!!!! and just generally....just stuff that goes NOWHERE!! like that train scene???? literally filler. was it a trowback to 02 where agumon came back on the train after being with the dark master?? i dont know!! fuck!!

then expositionmon comes, and its vague, and leaves. and then whatever anyway

meikomon cries and when she gets back to meiko again she tries to slit her troat, and meiko supringly tells her that she isnt good.....wow..thats nice. but they reuine and FINALLY gennai arrives again. in his kaiser disguise. why does he have that avatar to go back and forth troughout the world? why did he chose to use kaiser?? my guess is just to be a dick to the others, because thats the only good explanation at this point.

and sora does say “oh hi ken please dont” but thats it. im sorry but at this point, the 02 kids are oficcially dead and gone. there is no logical explanation to why they act like this anymore. none that are actually good. forget about them, the others have. just....forget about it.

so distortions appear again and everyone reunites again, because hell we needed SOME explanation to them meeting again. so action happens, and everything is nice and fine and then gennai just

hes so insane im kind of liking it..... ANYWAY stuff happens and so they run away while gennai talks to them about some answers to our questions, which they might not hear because of the BIG HEAVY STOMPS AND ROARS from the digimons but whatever... yuggrasil i dont remember who is and at this point i just wanted the movie to be over, so this last part, there isnt much to say because i liked it.

however sora getting BTFO by a giant mountain and machinedramons claw should have killed her, but nah whatever. and the scene with tai and matt drowning??? i jsut... dont understand it. what the fuck happened??? why did they just not drown anymore?? what?????? did the power of magic save them or somethin? I DONT GET IT!! and i mean...they should have drowned at that point jfc

then half the movie is the digimon digivolving and now im so god damn sick of writing, but meikomon fucks everything up again and NOW IT ENDS ON A CLIFFHANGER!! REEEEEEEEEEEEE

SOOOO yeah thats it...the movie was slow, boring, fun, and overall awkwards. the kids had ALMOST no personality, and the scenes that the movie advertized, like the conflict with sora, tai and matt was nonexistant, and just....i myself, and a lot of people, are fucking dissapointed.

if you read this far, thank you. but i have no big hypes for the rest of the movies anymore because the shitty animation, no facial expressions, crappy storytelling, boring character interactions, and MEIKO makes me hate these movies more and more...........and that makes me sad.
