Welcome to the 21st Spreadsheet Digest. If you're new here, this is every fic I read this week, each with a little summary and my unhinged thoughts about it. This week we have 24 fics!! It's a lot because I decided to try to read one fic each from "small writers" that were recc'd on this list. I obviously didn't get all the way through the list, but I plan to continue this week! (I also read a few other things)

Hotel Hobbies - a Jack series by @loversandantiheroes

Guys, friends, my loves, listen. Whiskey gets tied up!!! Ok so like the summary is that you're at a hotel for a conference and you meet a cocky cowboy at the bar and then some stuff happens and then the next night some not canon but canon typical stuff happens to Whiskey and that influences the next bit of fun stuff that happens between you two and... holy fucking shit dude this is HOT.

Sundown - a Joel one shot by @bageldaddy

You live in a trailer park and Joel moves in to the trailer across from yours. You're a young woman living on your own and he's old and doesn't really seem to have family. You get close and.. ya know. Listen... I love the way this fic captures the place they're in? Like as a kid who grew up in a trailer and in a tiny town in bumfuck nowhere, I felt very connected to the location of this fic and I loved how it was depicted. Stuff like changing out the skirting of the trailer is nostalgic to me lol. But then also just the way Joel is characterized here? And don't get me started on the smut. (babes there's somno in here!! and also realistic depictions of trying to fuck Joel "Monstercock" Miller). This fic made me happy idk.

Tease - a Javi P one shot by by @amanitacowboy

Javi forgets his lunch at home and you decide to take it to him at work... wearing nothing under your dress. So Javi decides to tease you and sends you home to wait for him and you're not allowed to touch yourself while you wait... but then of course you break the rules just to get him riled up and... he gets very riled up. This is so hot. Like the smut is filthy, but you can also tell how much they love and care about each other throughout the whole thing. Incredible <3

You're a Mansion With a View - a Joel one shot by @atticrissfinch

Daddy Joel takes really good care of his baby. That's it. That's the fic. And it is everything. I love Katy's dark fics with all my heart, but I think Daddy!Joel might be my favorite

Frankie and Din - a Frankie/Din one shot by @avastrasposts

This is so fucking funny and adorable. I love it so much. Basically Din and the N1 show up at Frankie's airfield and Frankie wants to test drive the N1, but Din is the way he is. Listen... it's like grumpy x sunshine but like they're not fucking? But hear me out. Part two.... I'm just saying. Din doesn't let just anyone pilot his ship.

An HR Nightmare - a Javi P one shot by @beefrobeefcal

Chubby Javi P!!! I speak from experience... quitting smoking will do it to ya. I love grumpy chubby Peña so fucking much. Silly stubborn man. You are his secretary and you love watching his tummy round out and you feed him hard candy and other sweets all the time. The ending too... Damn. Two words, friends: office sex. And it is glorious.

The Riding Lesson - a Jack one shot by @bluestar22x

You're a new trail guide at a ranch and Jack gives you a lesson on how to ride western! I know absolutely nothing about horses or how to ride them or anything, but this was still lovely to read! It's got a cute bit of flirting with the pretty cowboy and is overall just very cute and lovely.

Stages of Grief - a Joel one shot by @bonezone44

This is for all of us who have shitty families lol. You finally come to terms with the fact that your family fuckin sucks and Joel helps you through it. If you've ever fantasized about a gorgeous man loving you through a mental breakdown, this will be delightful for you (me lol). I really adored this. It hit home and I loved the message and I loved how understanding and firm Joel was in it.

The Angel in Me - a Dieter one shot by @chaoticgeminate

Dieter Bravo as an angel? Never expected that. He's in training and he gets put on gate duty when he meets you (gn!reader bc you get to pick when you get to heaven i think?). You were a fan of Dieter Bravo back on Earth and you very happily give him a blowjob in thanks for uhhhh something. Spoilers. This is hot and kind of sweet? Dieter is the king of being a little depraved in the sweetest ways ugh.

Acting Out - a Din one shot by @cool-iguana

Din goes on a hunt and you decide to tease him over the comm link, breaking the rules not to touch yourself and driving Din absolutely crazy. When he gets back he punishes you. Bruh... light daddy kink, spanking, bondage, edging, little bit of overstimulation... this fic has it all. And then the aftercare is also so sweet? I'm so obsessed with this

For the Love of Horror - a Dieter series by @coulsons-fullmetal-cellist

So you start dating Dieter and you're a horror film nerd. Dieter, however, is a scaredy cat. Absolutely terrified. This is like... a loosefit series, but this is the first one and it's cute all by itself (although I obviously recommend reading the rest of them too). There's flirting and nerding out over movies and Dieter being adorable. It's perfect tbh.

The Vagabond Gladiator - a Joel series by @dark-scape

Gladiator!Joel!!!!!!! He's a vagabond and he shows up with The Innocent, a young virgin (Ellie) desitined to be sacrificed to save the city. You are a Vestal Virgin, sworn to protect the city and also to be pure. This series does such a good job of taking elements from canon and blending them into this AU. It's a really interesting read -- I was fuckin riveted -- and the smut is... so fuckin good.

Dangerous Games - a Din one shot by @decembermidnight

You hide under the kriffing table at the cantina on Nevarro and give Din the bj of his life while he talks to Karga and it's hot as fuck and also a little funny bc he's like trying to keep his cool and not doing a good job of it. And then obviously he cannot let this stand so he drags your ass back to the ship and fucks you stupid. Dom!Din is sooooo hot ugh. This fic is incredible. 10/10

My Brother's Keeper - a Joel series by @diversemediums

So this is the first chapter of a series that I am so so excited to read. You were Tommy's gf in the QZ and he when he decided to leave, you didn't go with him. Tragically... you find out you're pregnant 3 months after he leaves. So you seek out Joel and he comforts you and he's so fucking soft and sweet, but still in that gruff mean QZ!Joel way lol and he's lowkey down bad for reader but she doesn't know that. I seriously cannot wait for more.

The Parents That Are Left - a Joel one shot by @frenchiereading

Joel had this patrol partner, Iris, who he adored. She was kind of like a daughter? Not in the Ellie way and def not in the Sarah way, but he really cared about her. Anyway she died. And this fic is him going to visit her mom (not romantic btw). This is just such a beautiful, painful portrayal of grief and a wonderful little snapshot of two people who lost their kids bonding over their tragedies. I love it so much.

Your boyfriend is a fucking asshole who is super controlling and just genuinely the worst and he hired Joel to redo your kitchen. You're lost in the street in Italy and come upon two dudes who don't seem to speak English and try to ask them for a phone to use to call your friends. You are not aware that Frankie and Santi, who are going to try to get their money from that one heist back, def speak English. You're also caught off guard by what happens next... TW NONCON.... I'm in love with the dynamic between Frankie and Santi. The way Santi is this dark driving force, pushing Frankie to do fucked up shit. And Frankie has lost so much already in his life because of this dude, I think he's given up on trying to be good.

A Good Friend to Have - a Din one shot by @beskarandblasters

YOOOO okay Kel's fucking boyfriend wrote this fic. You help your friend get away from the big scary bounty hunter by distracting him. You tell him you'll give him information if he does what you ask.... Friends this is dub con (for Din, not reader), sub!Din, with helmet riding, orgasm denial, and edging and a little (creed based) blasphemy. It's so hot.

Blood Money - a Dave/Max P series by @theywhowriteandknowthings

You are a bookkeeper for the fuckin vampire mafia and they keep you naked and chained in a basement, barely fed or hydrated. You get rescued though! Yay! Oh shit you get rescued by more vampires. ehh i tend to ramble on my stories on insta but idk i might do both on here and tumblr

(SPOILERS OF COURSE) I HAVE FINALLY WATCHED GHOSTBUSTERS AFTERLIFE‼️‼️‼️

anywho, yes i finally watched it. and i actually loved it??? like it felt so nostalgic even though i like watched the originals billions of times with my father. but bro it felt so different just hearing the old ost and ambience dude. like holy shitttt😭. it was so so so so great watching it. nice seeing the spirits/ghosts like shootingv stars in a way? felt so bad when i saw egons death from the chair (rip :(() it made me honestly happy to see phoebe have characteristics from her grandfather like MWAH. ik it’s just curly hair and glasses but idc top notch tbh.

she so silly though i love her and her jokes. ig the landlord was nice enough to change the locks when they’re out (like that won’t matter for her) made me feel so happy that egon wanted to play chess (or it couldve been some other ghost) and play with phoebe. i wish i got to see it in theaters and not beeen like “wahhh wahhh its a new movie from a older movie that i love its gonna be terrible!!” imd, i saw halloween kills that year and it was pretty decent, so i thought it was just gonna be BLEH or something ig. but Podcast honestly reminded me of Ray ngl like THEIR HAIRRRR‼️

im sure they did it intentionally but ibjust love it man. and ray knowing podcast’s podcast. LIKE that warmed my heart man😭😭😭. it was honestly sweet that egon was directing with the lights and showing phoebe what to do to fix the proton blaster like awhhhh 😭😭. OH AND THEM FINDING THE GHOSTBUSTERS CAR LIKE AHHHH. but honestly such a cool sweet heart warming story. i sure did miss gozer tbh. big surprise to see jk simmons there tbh😭 and then split in half poor fellow just wanted to rule the world too ig

just loved it when she said it here too “are you a god?” 😭😭 and then ray had to remember silky ray. but so sweet to see that egon help out phoebe and see thebold gang and hugging his daughter :(((. even though he said like NOTHING it was still so so so sweet. i bet harold ramis would be so proud of this movie if there is an afterlife perchance. i should be like doing schoolwork right now but here i am rantijg to like 2 of my closest friends EVER (ily both so so much if you even read this) or even the internet 😭😭😭 but oh well.

kinda myv only complaint about the film is that they just deepened the voices ofbthe mom and gooberson when they were possessed by gatekeeper and keymaster and even the eyes were very red like ik it was like that KINDA in the first film but cmon man. anywho rant over. WAY BETTER THAN THE 2016 VERSION.

This isn't an important update, just some sad little musings.

Man, I went to check on the stored deviations on my OG deviantart account, and I sorta tripped and fell down the nostalgic rabbit hole of looking through my old faves and... idk maybe it's the old man in me, but I can't help feeling like we've lost something.It was really cool, seeing the stuff people were doing- needlepoint and plushes and painting on shoes an silly littler papercrafts and shimeji( did anyone here use those or was that a strictly DA phenomenon? ), and dozens of tutorials to make silly little lolita inspired accessories and weird masks and stock images that were just people posing in their backyards or a park in the wildest outfits they could manage ( I used to do this, too! ) and the incredibly creative images people would make with them- I dunno, it feels like a lost era. I know there are people out there just- making stuff and sharing it, and I know that physical crafts are still absolutely being posted online, but not... here. It reminded me that DA use to be a place where artists of all kinds could congregate and enjoy each other's work- or never see a style they didn't like, because categories made it easy to find exactly what you wanted. I don't know how much of this is nostalgia, how much is me being old, and how much is an actual shift in how we as people and as artists use the internet. I just know it made me really miss the days when everything wasn't so curated by algorithms and sales.

anyway. queen fern was originally queen peacock but i ditched the concept of king fern + male "featherwings" being spotless so she got that name instead, and was promoted to loamsta instead of staying as a WOF fan species.

you know i promised myself i would not share how i used to draw dragons out of embarrassment but here we are.

i also had a self insert! and a silly guy!

i am bringing these two back. and IDK, who was an orange skywing, but he'll be repurposed or something. idk man i miss him.

* ceilings- lizzie mcalpine: verse 2, the chorus and outro! because first of all, the second verse is so pretty and it reminds me of the listener of the verge accident; the chorus because it’s so relatable to me for personal reasons; the outro because it’s so beautiful and i love how it feels like a coming of age moment out of a movie

* kind of, i don’t know if these count but i love watching long documentaries on true crime or the life of artists who passed away

* i’m not sure if i had one tbh; i did. have a great imagination and played outside a lot as a kid, but i don’t remember having an imaginary friend

* i need some sort of sound and a little bit of light to fall asleep; i hate total silence and i don’t like being in complete darkness; as of over a year now i usually fall asleep to redacted sleep aids if i’m not tired enough

* interesting question; idk if i’d change my name now, but if i did it would probably be something unique like Aline (which is my lovely’s name actually!) fun fact when i was younger i did wanna change my name to Skylar for some reason

* THIS IS TOO HARD I HAVE SO MANY FAVORITES- ughhhh my top favorite is a tie between probably huxley’s confession audio, and the recent avior audio; huxley because the bridging and relationship is beautiful, and avior because i love the storyline and relationship too

* blake. like i see so many blake apologists and i’m like w h y ? i ofc listen to his audios because of the plot, and the sleep aid is actually good, but i just don’t understand the hype about a dude who kidnapped people, whether it was to save his friend or not.

* i would LOVE to be friends with asher, he just seems like the kind of guy you’d go to for ANYTHING, whether it’s to hang out or to rant about the bad stuff going on in you’re life; i’d love to have him as a friend!

Everything here- the enneagram type, the movie choices, the music taste, even the boys you don’t like- wants me to point you in the direction of our favorite best friend turned boyfriend, dreamwalker, Elliott.

I don’t know about you, but, for me, DCOMs and One Direction are so wonderfully nostalgic; they remind me of, like, youth and high school and all that comes with it. Elliott also gives me that vibe, of something slash someone that’s comfortable and joyful and timeless, that continues to brighten up your life. Your relationship would be so full of love and long car rides screaming What Makes You Beautiful and sending silly Tiktoks instead of good morning texts and outdated Cadet Kelly references only the two of you understand.

That’s also why I like him for you as a Type Six, as Sixes tend to desire support and security in life and a partner, someone they can rely on. Elliott, both as a friend and a partner, is immensely dependable and caring. He would always be looking out for you, and honestly? Man’s was- what, the top of his class at Dream Manipulation something or other? He’s a big shot. He could support you emotionally and financially, and that’s attractive.

Runner-Ups:

Huxley works really well with both your Ennegram type and love languages; I stick by him being a fantastic match for a Six, and I can’t imagine anyone better to receive Physical Touch from than him. Guy, I like for you because I one hundred percent believe that man genuinely, unironically loves a good boy band and isn’t ashamed to admit it.

Oh!!! The mechs ask person!!! Hello!!! Yay I like answering questions that let me ramble thank you

It's literally impossible for me to pick a favorite anything but for the mechs specifically I think I have a special soft spot for Brian and Jonny, as well as the prison mechs. I will honestly obsess over one at random just rotating them BUT I find Brian and Ivy relatable and stupidly loveable. Raphaella's vocal range is very similar to mine and I'm always down with mad scientist types. Marius is just so fun to write and he's just like,,,,, idk he's got such a fun demeanor. Jonny memorizes and recites large pieces of script in a way I can relate to (because autism) but mainly aside from his overall Jonny-ness, it's the New Texas thing. I grew up in Texas and I like projecting a lot of southern culture onto to, mostly the cool stuff that makes me homesick (which is also why I love Lyfrassir bc I can project a lot of my Norse Mythology info and pagan lifestyle onto them, but they're not technically a mech so)

Clearly my favorite album is The Bifrost Incident, mainly because Norse Mythology was one of my biggest special interests for years (it still is btw I'm just not as deep anymore). Also after the disappointment of the Loki series, getting into The Mechanisms was just awesome. I will say tho that even if TBI is objectively my favorite, I listen to HNOC the most lmao.

Very hard to pick a favorite song bc I'm obsessed with like .... almost all of them. So my 'favorite' isn't necessarily which song I think is the best, but it's Rose Red. I have many feelings about that song. OUAT(IS) was my first album (literally at that point my only info about The Mechs was someone's post about "Jonny Sim's - you know the TMA guy - stupid and embarrassing uni band" so here i was looking for a giggle actually) i was laying in bed in the middle of the night listening. IMMEDIATELY enraptured by it (it's not stupid and embarrassing how did that person come to the conclusion is this because I'm a theatre kid) and the gasp I let out at Rose Red!! Because most of the songs I didn't really recognize except Pump Shanty really, but Rose Red was a song close to my heart!! It was an old choir warm up, and one of my favorites bc it was the only one we did that wasn't silly and dumb, but straight up sounded ethereal man!! It was just super nostalgic. So after King Cole that song went on loop for a while. Cut to months later when I finally listened to DTTM, yeah anyway that version made me cry. Lot of feels <3

What are some of your favorite movies and why? I'm in the mood for some ranting about cool stuff :)

OKAY ALRIGHT LET'S DO THIS (in no particular order)

JK ROWLING IS STINKY 🤬🤬🤬

But I love Remus Lupin. And I love the aesthetic of this movie. And I LOVE werewolves. Professor Lupin is one of THE BEST characters in the entire Harry Potter franchise and I just think he deserves more hype and he's really cool and idk I get nostalgic about this movie and it's definitely a comfort movie for me.

Just this entire franchise. And the Hobbit movies. My Dad has always been a BIG Tolkien fan so I was raised on LOTR and went to see the Hobbit movies in theatres when they first came out (I saw the first one 3 or 4 times, I was OBSESSED). BEFORE ANYONE COMES AT ME I'VE ALSO READ THE BOOKS I READ THEM IN GRADE 3 I KNOW THE LORE DW 🙏. I'm a sucker for fantasy (hence my current dnd obsession lol) and the world of these films is just so immersive and breathtakingly beautiful that I can't help but consider them my favourites, even if it's been years since I've watched them cohesively. ALSO THE MUSIC IS SO GOOD. I'LL LISTEN TO THE LOTR SOUNDTRACK ANY DAY.

Again. THE MUSIC.

Andrew Garfield was SO GREAT in this, and I personally connected to it a lot as a songwriter myself. That being said, this movie makes me SOB EVERY SINGLE TIME. Jonathan Larson was truly a talent and it's such a shame his life ended as early as it did. So glad he lives on through his art, and so glad that he was able to make such a huge impact on people with what he created. (Also fun fact I'm going to see Rent in a few weeks)

IT STARTED AS A BIT IT WAS A JOKE

Word of advice: if you ever think to yourself, "Hey. It'd be silly if I kept suggesting to watch that one Adam Sandler Halloween movie whenever my family asks for movie suggestions despite the fact that it isn't Halloween anymore and it's not that good of a movie- DON'T. DO IT.

Hubie Halloween is my comfort movie now. I don't rewatch movies and tv shows a lot, but I've seen this one probably 5 times in the last few months. It's just a silly little Halloween movie, but I sort of started to appreciate it more after realizing "HEY THAT GUY IN THE TIN MAN COSTUME IS WILL BYERS!!!" Although most of the media I find myself drawn to is more complex and explores the intricacies of how humanity functions, this movie somehow grew on me. My family references it constantly, and every time we play Jackbox games, half of the quiplash answers are just "Hubie". Overall I just think this movie is funny, quirky, subverts expectations in silly ways, and is a nice lighthearted watch compared to my other favourites.

My final movie on this list isn't ACTUALLY a movie but I HAVE TO TALK ABOUT IT YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND

MIDNIGHT MASS IS MY FAVOURITE SHOW. EVER. OF ALL TIME.

The music??? Immaculate. THE ACTING??? Immaculate. THE WRITING??? Immaculate (although there are a lot of monologues which can be a lot for some people, but as a theatre kid I REALLY appreciated them).

I've rewatched this show 2 1/2 times now and I'm just so in love with it. It's horror, but it doesn't rely on cheap jumpscares and many of the cheaper tactics some horror movies use nowadays. It's way more focused on its ensemble cast and developing good characters and storytelling. Sure, it starts off a bit slow, but the emotional payoff in the final two episodes is SO. WORTH IT.

Hamish Linklater as Father Paul is just... Awesome. RAHUL KOHLI AS HASSAN??? SO GOOD??? THIS ENTIRE CAST IS SO TALENTED and the way they play their characters is so raw and compelling and human.

Ryan Bergara was so right when he listed Father Paul as a poor little meow meow on Tumblr Top 5 HE SO IS AND I LOVE HIM FOR THAT. Anyway if you wanna see a new take on some classic horror tropes, commentary on the meaning of life and what happens after it, and some really good acting just... Please watch this. It definitely destroys your soul and makes you think but it's so good and the aesthetic is just... Mmmm.

For the purpose of records: I am sick, mostly due to my own poor choices. There was a big important university-wide thing on Friday that I went to with some of the people I had lunch with. It was outdoors and super rainy and a little chilly, but the three of us decided to stick it out through the main part of the program with our umbrellas. The event was very well done, despite the poor venue choice considering the weather. But. I caught a mild illness as an almost immediate result which sucks mostly because it's too annoying to do anything with major sinus pressure. Being sick the weekend before midterms start is dreadful, ugh. I mean I'm doing okay but could be much more focused (I could always be more focused though tbh).

When I went for lunch on Friday.. well. The more senior students of color in the department (there aren't many!) and a couple from adjacent departments certainly have not had the greatest experience being students of color here. So that's.. unfortunate. I've been pretty fortunate in the past that it's never needed to be a consideration of mine, so we'll see how my experience goes. Spending time with and learning from them was nice though. It just seems like the department and uni as a whole try to attract a diverse student body for the optics of doing so and then kind of leave them to fend for themselves when they encounter any issues related to the ways in which they ~diversify the department~. So that's sucky. It was nice to just chill with them though. Before the rain.

I feel so silly when people talk about the media they consume because not to be all "not like other girls" (mostly because I know there are other girls like me, such as my dnd-friend) but I physically cannot bring myself to confess that I'm currently making my way through the DC comics children's television series Young Justice. I fully recognize that there's nothing wrong with enjoying nostalgic/children's media and as a post-DreamSMP blog (I've been through the trenches man) I've already eliminated much of my internal cringe, but it just feels juvenile and out of place in the context of what others are sharing. Maybe I'll talk about Midsomer Murders or something instead idk.

Okay but I have discovered a soft spot for shows with their own in-universe lingo. Kim Possible's "so not the drama" and "no big" are exquisite. Young Justice's "feelin' the aster" and "stay whelmed" and "crash"/"mode" are also growing on me.

Today I'm thankful that I'm not so ill as to keep me from going in tomorrow, though I likely won't stay long. A meeting, a class, then back home to the apartment to work.

I saw Doctor Strange and The Multiverse of Madness yesterday so spoiler warning, I’m gonna give my opinion below under the cut.

Like serious spoiler warning I’m going to be talking about specific things, so if you still moan after these warnings you can eat a bag of multidimensional hairy dicks

What the fuck was that ?

Honestly. I hate to say it because I’m a marvel ass-licker and I hate admitting anything my autistic special interest does is bad, and it wasn’t, but I’m kinda on the fence about whether I loved it or hated it - I’m gonna watch it again in a few days to really take it in properly the second time around.

But one thing I am annoyed about is how the fuck you can say you have The Illumanti and have pretty much all the OG members and not Namor ????? WHEREMST THE FUCK IS ME SWEET ANGSTY SUB MARINER BOI?!

That really annoyed me lol

I’ve never been a fan of Raimi’s spiderman films, like I think tobey is a great actor, but I think those films are objectively not good. Don’t get me wrong, I still like them, it’s nostalgic and it’s fun and silly, but from a movie watching point of view it’s cringe, shit acting, bad and lazy writing, poor cgi, and all around cheesy.

But I have a love / hate relationship with those moviee so it’s hard to give a definitive answer.

Raimi definitely channeled all that cheesy cringe action shots / scene transitions and cheesy lines into this movie but I guess it kinda made it great though because it captures how zany and cheesy and ridiculous doctor strange comics are (and the classic og marvel comics in general) ,,, so I do kind of hate it and love it in that regard also - it’s probably because I was not expecting that type of style for a marvel film so it’s just taken me aback. I think once I watch it again in a few days I’ll love it Lmao

Right so all that out of the way , those fucking horror scenes and all the other spooky elements *chef kiss* very scary and very unnerving and fucking badass very cool MWAH

Honest to god the horror elements and references were super cool and flowed nicely.

The unexpected deaths was fucking ace, I love when movies do that bc it’s so out of left field, it’s very Deadpool 2 x force-esque and I loved it.

Idk if y’all have ever read Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe but it gave me those vibes, if you read it you’ll know what I mean

Especially the scene where professor x is in Wanda’s mind, there was a moment where it looked like he was looking directly to the camera and I thought for a brief fleeting moment they were going to have him look into the camera, go wide eyed and say “oh” before having his brain completely melt - which is professor x’s death in the Deadpool comic I mentioned, it just really reminded me of it and with Xavier being in Wanda’s mind at the time I thought maybe reading her mind or seeing how self aware she was would cause his brain to implode with the knowledge that none of his world was real a La Deadpool kills the mcu

This film though did feel disappointing. I don’t think this will be the last of the multiverse concept in marvel obviously, but it felt wrong to have the first introduction into different universes and their hero’s variants be only 2 hours long, it felt like it should have been more of a Zack Snyder feature length film

There was no mention of loki and kang and their timeline issues - which you’d think would have been in the film

You’d also have thought with multiverses and such opening up that all 3 spidey boys would be back as well but nah - so that was weird too

Kang is literally related to Reed Richards so he is one of the most intelligent human beings there is, he is one of the biggest threats to the timeline the mcu has but I guess the mf must have been on vacation

Also are you telling me that one of the universes most intelligent men, the man responsible for creating the COUNCIL OF REEDS was fucking dumb enough to say oh yeah black bolt can kill you by opening his mouth , like bro why did you not just shut the fuck up HAHA

But then again the death scenes were so fucking awesome

I guess the film is a 7/7.5 out of 10

I think the horror sequences bumped up those scores for me tho. I deffo have more to say but I’m probably forgetting a lot of stuff so I’ll be back with more to say once I’ve watched it again 😎

n e ways, FOR STARTERS, i have been going through such a pop punk, pop rock & emo phase rn idek. i just absolutely adore silly, nostalgic, lowkey cringy (/pos) music.

i have always been an mcr enjoyer and i think that’s how it began tbh. UMM UMMM my fav bands rn are pierce the veil and green day. i have also been blasting paramore’s riot album (crushcrushcrush <3333)

OH!!!! paramore also recently dropped a NEW album and that’s super special to me. i listened to that for like three weeks or smth. big man little dignity is my fav song from thta rn.

pierce the veil has so many good songs!!!!! to name a few, there’s “circles,” “yeah boy and doll face,” “falling asleep on a stranger,” “i’d rather die than be famous,” and “the balcony scene.” (can you tell my fav album is a flair for the dramatic?)

pierce the veil is SOOOO!!!!!!!!!! they debuted their first album in the late 2000s but i think that they’re rlly important to mention when talking abt emo music and shit idk. i love them, so maybe i am biased 😋

Nomads by Captain Juuter: I LOVE IT! I joke around saying that Lance is better Izuku (and I began to read the webtoon for that) but DUDE I'M EMOTIONALLY INVESTED. LIKE. SO BAD. HELP ME. The characters are awesome, the universe is so cool, the lore is simple yet SO INTRIGUING. Even the antagonists are so likeable like WHAT (they're not bad peeps dwbi). Amazing. I love it.

demoholic by noxmillion: I picked up the webtoon because bro has green hair (and grass hair is funny) and idk why, i jusr felt so good reading this. It felt nostalgic for some reason??? Idk, the silliness, the dynamics, it just felt like home?? Uuhhh yeah also at the same time I was reading another webtoon with the love interest as another not human green haired guy and I was like "bro is tryna copy demoholic 🙄🙄🙄🙄" (turns out it's not a bad webtoon I just prefer my boy Yugo) Also the panels are dynamic, the characters are funny, I'm eager to read more!!!

My Daddy is a Villain by M0N0KR0M: SO DAMN CUTE!! This webtoon, hear me out, this webtoon makes me smile all the time. IT'S SO WHOLESOME!! So funny. I just love the dad's energy so bad, I love Mona so so so so soooo much she's so precious I would die for her. My favourite side character is definitely Hisashi he's 10/10

Surviving Romance by Lee Yone : I am. So invested. In the characters. Goddammit. You think it's a romance but PLOT TWIST!! It's a zombie apocalypse and our girl Chaerin has some steel balls I swear. Rina is definitely my favourite. She's 🔥💯💯💯

Omniscient Reader : Guys. Who doesn't know Omniscient Reader I LIVE for Dokja's tomfoolery . I know it's looonnggg asf but man I just love this dude. He's a silly. Also I used to hate Junghyeok but now he's like. Ritsu from MP100. I like him he's my little piece of shit 😚 their dynamic is so fucking funny

Hyper Ultra Giga Magical Quest by Lolo: I know, it's in French, I'm sorry, but LISTEN THIS WEBTOON WAS ONE OF MY FIRST. It's so cool. The silliness is overflowing. the artstyle is so pretty. So magical. So gay. So 💥💥💥

Magical Mom by Prinnstar: Man I wished Pailin was my mom 😭 it's very wholesome! The art is stunning!! It updates very rarely sadly, but the few episodes we get are YUMMY!!! Get this now!! Cool action scenes!! Magical people!! Silly talking cat!! I like talking cats.

favourite thing about the group: man . idk . txt are so special to me for many reasons so it's hard to pick just one thing yk?? their music is just so good to me, i vibe with it so much and i think their voices are so good and i LOVE that they don't always have defined rap parts in their songs bc i feel like sometimes.. rap parts kinda ruin the vibes.... but as a group like. i just love their dynamics idk. like they just have such a lovely energy individually and as a group and they're so fun and silly and wholesome :((( I DON'T KNAURRR I JUST LOVE THEM SO MUCH i've always said there's something special about tubatu, i've been stanning for two years now and i have so much love for them

something i'd like to see from them: i LOVE how they're branching out and trying more like.. edgy punk concepts etc, i really like that they do lots of different types of songs like more bubblegum, soft songs and then songs like gbgb and last year's albums?? one thing i'd LOVE is either solo or unit songs, lonely boy is SO good and i hope they'll do more unit songs. for example i think a beom/tyun duo would be so so good, and i rly want txt solos too </3 BUT ALSO i want another minisode 1 vibeeeeeeee sorry but that ep is so good to me and i hope they do something nostalgic and young like that again one day sob
