Time to get into the Halloween season, and what best way to start with a cute horror game like Ib! 🌹 This is an Indie game I hope people don't forget about. It was such a well designed concept, that was actually terrifying to play. I'm not great with Horror at the best of times but this game really caught me off guard with how scary it was. Especially the sound effects! 🥶

I can also appreciate the whole, 'art coming to life to kill you'. Obviously it hits home considering I draw literally all the time and you do sometimes feel consumed by your craft. But you still draw all the same! 🎨 All in all, a game that I am defiantly thinking about replaying because it is just so good!

Each brushstroke on the page brings her more aware. Every golden curve of her hair and blue sparkle in her eyes gives her more life for every bit her daddy loses while working alone in his studio. And as she evolves beyond a scribble’s childish thoughts, the more she wonders. What’s it like out there? Can I join you, father? Curiosity turns to longing as her dress is painted in fine detail. Do you love me? Her smile asks as the last golden rose is drawn at her feet. As the paintbrush lowers one last time, she receives no answer.

So me and my qpp dressed as Ib and Mary respectively for Halloween yesterday! We also played the remake together which was a ton of fun! The new sprites and little changes to puzzles and areas and music and anything else was all super interesting and I loved getting to experience it all again since the last time I played it was like 2016/2017. Anyway, happy late Halloween!

Also, here is my dog "as Garry" since we didn't have a Garry.

So I just heard that Ib is being released on switch March 9th and I'm buzzing!! Absolute classic of my early teens and I must have at all costs! Does anyone know where I can pre-order the hard copy, the one that comes with the handkerchief? I can't find it anywhere.
