Got some spare time (which I should be using to work on whatever chapter I’m up to in Hide and Seek, but :v I love talking and while I do ramble in my end notes sometimes, there are times where I can’t do that without accidentally spoiling the fic :’) Not that I’m gonna spoil it here either haha); But! I’d like to at least get down some of my thoughts behind the conception of the fic and how it came to be :D

I love Underground Hero!Izuku fics! And.. long time followers of my tumblr blog know I love birds and especially owls! I also really love Dadzawa and found family! I am the epitome of “be the change” in what I write xD While I’m not too picky on what I like to read, I do prefer some things over others, so the concept of Hide and Seek came to be like 4am one night where I was like Underground Hero!Izuku with an Owl quirk!!! 

I did spend some time thinking about whether or not to actually write/outline start the fic, because when I started the fic about 1.5 months ago, I hadn’t really written fic in at least 4-5 years. But when I mentioned my idea in a discord server I’m in, there were a couple of people interested and I ended up elaborating on the initial idea and jumped straight into outlining xD 

And thus, Hide and Seek is my ultimate indulgence fic; I want this to be a fic where I can read and feel happy and comforted like Izuku (eventually!) will be because I am a marshmallow at heart.
