Was it a witch? ❞ Zetterburn seemed oddly chipper today. Believe it or not he had nothing against Geno personally, and this was a very special day for Zetterburn's ruling family of the Fire Capital. He had every right to be cheerful.

it’s a good thing that  today is a very special day, or else the way the blazing prince refers to him may well have struck a nerve. nothing irks him greater than being addressed as a thing rather than a person in his own right —— but zetterburn also acknowledges that he is alive, which is something, he supposes. again, he is very lucky that geno is in a particularly great mood, or else he’d have been a mite snappy.

❝ haha, in fact, no! i was given life by the cosmos themselves —— but i do have a mother. being that i am a star, ❞ spoken with great emphasis, as to shoot down the reference to being just a doll, ❝ the mother of the cosmos is like a mother to me. she cares for baby stars primarily, but she looks to me as one of her own. today... is a day that i especially dedicate to her. ❞

he stares wistfully into the skies, eager to get back to the comet observatory for a fine mother’s day luncheon. he can’t wait for it, he thinks with a broad smile. ❝ my mother is everything to me. she was there when no one else would be. i owe... so much to her. you understand, don’t you? you’ve got to have a parental figure that means that much to you, right? ❞ he supposes that not everyone would be so lucky, but given zetter’s mood, he’s going to guess that he is one of the fortunate ones.
