#i'm saying this bc sometimes i read something about a certain placement and when i read about the same placement from another source

so i just read your interpretation of kai's pisces rising and his pretty, perfect looks and i'm literally blown away by your deduction? you're so good at this omg
i must thank that anon for requesting kai because i've been so obsessed with him lately, they did god's work fr
now, allow me to gush about one certain scorpio man here (JAKE AAA) he's literally the most beautiful man i've ever seen and he has the hottest placements ever with those scorpio up his ass bruh
this makes me think he's probably a libra rising? with venus in the first house possibly because no way he's got mars there LIKE ehh it doesn't seem like it?
i'm so excited to hear your thoughts on this
aaa thank you for sending this ask !! tried so hard to not talk myself into circles on this lmaooo
obvi we don't know Jake's birth time and we could rectify his chart (which could be accurate if i actually took the time to do it lol) instead we're gonna say that hypothetically he does have a libra rising (which i can see arguments for outside of simply just his looks—his MBTI. also a libra rising means he'd have been birthed sometime between 2:16 AM and 3:40 AM; I chose 3:14 AM lol)
prefacing this by saying his mars and venus are both in detriment. it just means both planets are a bit weaker than they'd be if they swapped signs, for example. it's not a bad thing,, just something that will take work lol. anyways, let me attempt to explain some things:
lemme talk about mars in the 1H. of course, i'll be using the whole sign house system for this tiny portion.
since he has a libra mars (lmao rip him) I think it just makes his features softer rather than the harsher (often sexy) visuals that come with being scorpio/mars dominant. plus in this case, mars is where it belongs in the 1H—obvi that said person is pretty especially with libra (venus) helping out a bit. i can't get too heavy on my usage of degrees in this reading (common dreamie loss), but again, hypothetically, he'd have a 19° mars (which, now that im looking at a non-rectified chart, it's the same w/o a bt, anyway). 19° is, of course, a libra degree. and that is my very simple, minimal detail explanation that Jake doesn't need his Venus to be in the 1H for those visuals to still shine through!!
to further this, in regards to aspects, he has venus conjunct his ascendant—which extends much further than just being a pretty face; i think it also shows in the way he carries himself, his personality, and how warm he is.
but now lets use ur point in him being a 1H venus (this time using placidus house system instead of whole signs)
this makes his scorpio sun, venus and mercury positioned in the 1H while his mars is positioned in the 12H. despite this, and Jake being a scorpio stellium, jake doesn't have the "signature" scorpio look* that, many obvious scorpios have (for example; minho, yuta, minghao, yugyeom—u can see it in the eyes, eyebrows and really just their aura lol)—going back to venus being in detriment under scorpio. I think his libra mars or pisces moon (!!) really softens his face.
or perhaps bc his 1H sun and mercury are at 22° (which is a capricorn degree) he doesn't have that outward scorpic appearance. an example of the opposite of this would be jaebeom from got7 who is very much a capricorn stellium in aura/presentation and speech but his scorpio placements really stick out visually (imo).
(sorry to be rambling but i need to get down to the bottom of him just...not looking like a scorpio... especially with his venus being at 0° as 0° can be perceived as the most absolute a sign can be. but alas, this is hypothetical)
*feel like this changes when he's on stage and in his element, yk.
of the smaller aspects, Jake has venus quintile jupiter. jake loves art (venus) and exploring different forms of art or even expanding (jupiter) on and/or strengthening his talents in other areas of art (like singing and dancing). this coupled with his sun square jupiter; he's very serious about his job and the things that he sets out to do. none of that half-assed shit (sun at 22° so he's especially not being half-assed when there's money involved)
bonus!!! jake has a grand trine in his chart which is v v cool (didn't notice even after looking at his chart for nearly 2 hours). a grand trine is when three planets that are in the same element form a perfect triangle in the chart (there are other nuances to this too but this post is already long). he has an air grand trine**—I think he might really enjoy mind games*** and things that call for mental stimulation rather than more physical stimulation or activities where he needs to be running around constantly. save for being an idol, obvi—basically he enjoys his alone time and time to be lazy and not do too much (that's that libra mars energy especially if it is in the 12H)
**this can be said the same for heeseung, who also has an air grand trine.
***i wanna say mind games in the non-negative, non-manipulative way but like... wouldn't be surprised if he enjoyed a lil chaos here and there(i don't think the intended purpose would be to be mean or anything like that tho)
tbh i wouldn't be surprised if he was a sagittarius rising—but i'll have to give that more thought. needless to say, i vibe heavy with libra rising jake :))
anyways im gonna stop myself right there bc I really like his [hypothetical] chart and given the opportunity, i will not shut up about it :)) I hope I explained things in an understandable way!! lemme know if u have questions + thank u for sending this ask!!!

I related a lot to that, thank you 🙏🏻 astrology explains so much, and I love seeing people’s interpretations.
I also have a Leo stellium in my personal planets, and a Virgo Venus, (forgot if I mentioned this but I also have a 8th H stellium, with my sun in moon being in it 😅)
Everything I’ve read about having a 8th H stellium and having a Scorpio Mars has been accurate so far - 🦁❤️
Ohh I'm glad to hear that🥺 And I can only agree with you, I've learned so much about myself and others through astrology and whenever I find out a super random fact, I'm surprised all over again by how much astrology can really tell.... but also, the deeper I dive into it, the more painfully obvious it also is how little I know in comparison to all the knowledge that there is...but alas, that only makes me excited to learn and understand more.🥺
Oh wow, that 8th house stellium gives you even more Scorpio energy, I could definitely imagine you to have a very intense/powerful energy and on top of that pairing it up with Leo, that's just - wow. I personally really like mixing Leo and Scorpio energy but maybe that's because I've got both signs in my personal placements as well.😂 I'm really glad to hear the things you've read about these placements so far have resonated with you!!
Although, I always feel like it's also important to put everything into perspective and only take what resonates because in the end, astrology isn't supposed to force something upon us that we are not and maybe one person's interpretation doesn't resonate with you as well as someone else's.🥺 On that note, I'm also super happy that you could relate to the things I wrote🥺✨
#i'm saying this bc sometimes i read something about a certain placement and when i read about the same placement from another source#it might resonate a lot more than the previous source or vice versa#i also feel like sometimes the things you can read about certain placements project a lot of negative energy#that can make some people feel like they're 'doomed' with these placements when in fact someone else might talk about them#in a much more positive light#i get that a lot with scorpio and 8th house themes especially#i feel like those people who don't have this intense scorpio energy in their own chart might view it as too much too dark#too intense too destructive etc. but imo those people who embody this energy like the passion the mystery the darkness#so depending on who you're talking to you might get a very different response on a certain placement#bc in the end astrology is also very intuitive and therefore some subjective energies go into it as well#i've talked to people who've told me that reading about some of their placements - when it was negative - made them feel down or scared#and that's not what astrology is about#there's positives and negatives to everything and depending on how developed and mature we are#we exude the more positive or the more negative traits of a placement#in the end astrology is simply meant as a tool for growth self-improvement and fostering understanding#i do have to tell that to myself here and there as well bc reading something negative or scary about your own placement can definitely be#a shock#sorry omg i rambled so much just now#ask#🦁❤ anon#astro asks

What are your biggest ones?👀
Tumblr media
whew okay.
- when characters are like. out of character but tremendously. i'm talking the character is simply in there for the name sake & the face. like people can def make characters out of character & make it still work for the sake of the story but when like the character is genuinely just a whole nother person i just assume they're only writing it bc they want the characters name & face in it LMAO
- like anon mentioned, bad punctuation, grammar, etc. also like. when people do quotes and don't use punctuation... sometimes it's a mistake but something about it bothers me so. so. much. like this "hello i like you" put some fucking punctuation or ill rip my eyes out thanks!!!
- there's certain words that ick me out. they aren't inherently bad words but they just have a stigma against them in the fanfic world / SOMETIMES they show lack of creativity..... i've seen some words used well though. like a handful of times. this is lowkey a me thing. (ex: orbs, using some outrageous name for a vagina or something. idk)
- when people write in scenes that add no value / simply make no sense and it's usually because they're projecting onto a character but in a way that's blatantly obvious. fiction is supposed to be fiction duh but something ab the fact that i can tell your projecting icks me outtttttt (ex: armin getting drunk but like just bc author wanted to see him drunk. it had no placement in the story. fuck is he just chugging it for.)
- EXCESSIVE EPITHETSSSS like bro don't be scared to say characters x's name. like when people overly use "the blonde haired man" "the green eyed boy" "the dark skinned one." i swear.... at one point you begin trying to avoid the name so much that you begin overusing the epithets themselves...
- random language switches.... this isn't that much of a big deal for me because i don't see it often namely because aot characters aren't japanese besides mikasa and when i do read fics it's probably for aot, but like a character just switching languages just because they want to include random phrases is sometimes ickyyyyy. it can be pulled of well ofc but. why is deku going "you always act like this, baka!" on a random tuesday morning.
- bad buildup. self explanatory, when it comes to anything— romance, smut, fights, etc. if the build up was jackshit im dipping.
- when the plot gets crazy and derails in a way that doesn't make any sense for the story. like it's a college au with no premention or build up character A getting kidnapped to reveal character B as a super spy.... was it supposed to be a plot twist or did you just decided to add this in 5 mins ago cause you thought it'd spice it up.....
i can't think of anymore but i see them when i see them. im picky.

Hey, so I graduated this past May and since then I've just been working 40 hours a week. I feel like I need to go to college to do something with my life but I feel like theres so much in my way and I havent done anything to even start and I dont have a clue what I'd want to do. I'm so unsure on how to do anything regarding financial aid or even applying to colleges. I'm also worried that it wouldn't work with my schedule for my job. I work 5 days with 2 off days and I'm on evenings so I feel like I wouldn't be able to balance work and school, but I would have to bc I'm my only financial support. Sorry for the dumping my problems, but any advice?
How To Do College 101
Congratulations on your graduation! Working a full-time job after graduation (during a freaking pandemic, no less) is no small feat either, and I applaud you for that, too. Once upon a time, I was like you: I didn’t know anything about college except that I wanted to go, and now I run a blog telling people how to go to college. College might be strange and unfamiliar now, but in time, you will learn how to do it!
This might be my longest post, so strap in for a fun ride!! My answer comes to you in three parts:
How To Do Community College
How To Do University
How To Do Financial Aid
P.S. I’m going to say this only once, but feel free to ask why: Do not attend a for-profit college. Okay, now onto the basics!
How To Do Community College
I encourage you to read my Ode to Community College. Community colleges are real colleges designed for people who are low on funds, are working or have other responsibilities, don’t know what they want to study yet, and/or don’t know how college works yet.
Step 1: Applying
Community colleges accept anyone who applies, and the application is usually just like filling out a job application, but you will also need to send in your high school transcript, and I recommend sending any test scores. Your college may have you take a placement test to see if you’re ready for college. If you’re not quite ready, they may have you take some pre-college courses in English or math before you officially start a degree program.
Step 2: Choosing a Degree Program
Among other things, community colleges award associate’s degrees, which are essentially the first two years of a bachelor’s degree at a four-year college or university. You’ll take introductory classes like English, math, science, and social sciences, as well as electives (i.e. fun classes). Here’s a list of programs that might be offered at your community college.
Step 3: Taking the Right Classes
Make sure you stick to your college’s degree plan so that you take classes that 1) count toward your associate’s degree and 2) will transfer to a university. Most classes you take for an associate’s degree (AA, AS, or AFA) should transfer to a bachelor’s degree (BA, BS, or BFA) easily enough, but sometimes universities aren’t very transfer-friendly. The best option is to transfer to a university that has a partnership with your community college, which is information you should be able to find on your community college’s website. If your community college doesn’t have any partners, you’ll want to research the transfer policies at the universities you’re interested in and follow their guidelines on what classes to take.
Step 4: Transferring
In your last year of community college, you will apply to a four-year college or university for your bachelor’s degree. You’ll need to pick a major when you apply because for the next two years, that’s what you will be studying. Make sure you tour the university before you attend and get acclimated before your first day!
How To Do University
Whether or not you attend community college for the first two years or enroll directly into a four-year college or university, you’ll want to understand how to navigate the basics as early as possible.
Step 1: Exploring Your Options
Use my Self-Reflection Toolkit and this quiz from Marquette University to explore potential majors. These are just meant to get you thinking and guide you as you learn more about yourself and your interests. This process will take time to research and figure out, and if you enroll directly into a four-year college you can change your major after you apply. As I mentioned, the first two years are mostly basics and figuring stuff out, so either way you have time.
I was very bad at choosing colleges to apply to and applied almost at random. I learned a lot from those mistakes, and on my FAQ page you’ll see me trying to impart that wisdom on others. I recommend doing your research, going on virtual tours, and getting used to just looking at college websites, even if you don’t know what you want yet. Start by window shopping for colleges in your state and see what they have to offer you. College Board also has tools for finding a college that fits your needs. It’s worth starting as early as possible, and I know that you can do it. Like I said, I was really bad at it and I still made it through.
Step 2: Applying
Applying to a four-year college will take more steps than a community college application. Many colleges require letters of recommendation, essays, and application fees (look on their websites for fee waivers). More information is on my FAQ page, of course, but be prepared to complete these steps before application deadlines. Each college sets its own deadline, but if you want to go next year, you’ll likely need to apply by January or February. Applying can be daunting, but you will need to do it at some point, even if you go to community college first.
Step 3: Finding Resources
Access any and all resources your university offers, which will include advising, counseling, career services, and more. The same is true at a community college, but I would argue it’s even more true at a university. You might find out about internships, research opportunities, fun events, and all that stuff that excited you when you saw it on your university’s website! Even if you don’t feel like you need resources, you’re paying for them, so you might as well use them! Often people won’t know how to help you unless you tell them you’re struggling, like how you told me what you’re going through and I wrote a post that’s turning into a short novel! (I’ll be done soon, I promise.)
Step 4: Taking The Right Classes
Just like at a community college, you want to make sure you’re taking classes that count toward your degree and interest you. Make sure you’re following the prescribed degree plan on your university’s website and communicated by your advisor. If you find that you’ve chosen a major that doesn’t fit your interests, make sure you speak with your professors, your advisor, and anyone else whose opinion you trust.
How To Do Financial Aid
Step 1: Understanding The Basics
There are three major types of financial aid: loans (money you have to pay back after you graduate), grants (government money you’re awarded based on your financial need that you don’t have to pay back), and scholarships (money from a college or other source that is awarded for any reason that you don’t have to pay back). Loans might come from the government, your college, or a bank. I recommend borrowing from the federal government because the interest is so low (basically, it’s cheaper to pay off than a bank loan).
Step 2: Filling Out FAFSA
If you want to go to college next fall, or if you just want to do a practice round, fill out FAFSA now. I’m assuming you’re under 24, so you will need your parents’ tax information even if they’re not going to help you pay for college. Filling out FAFSA will never, not ever ever ever require you or your parents to take out any loans. Rather, FAFSA gives you access to any need-based financial aid you might be eligible for, whether that aid comes from the government or not. Loans agreements are a totally separate form, and you can take some loans without your parents’ help. If you’re not eligible for FAFSA, check whether your state or college has its own FAFSA alternative.
Step 3: Reading Your Award Letter
After a college sends an acceptance letter, they will also send a financial aid award letter. The letter will show you how much you’ve been awarded in scholarships and grants and how much you can take out in loans from the federal government or the college itself. You should compare your financial aid amount to the total cost of attendance, will you can find on the college’s financial aid webpage. The total cost of attendance is how much it costs to pay for tuition, fees, housing, and a rough estimate of your other living expenses. Basically, it’s how much it costs to be a student for one year.
As you said, I wouldn’t expect you to be able to work 40 hours while maintaining good grades, so may need to be frugal and creative to fill in any gaps financial aid didn’t cover. Private colleges tend to have a really big “sticker price,” but may offer generous scholarships as discounts, whereas public colleges tend to be cheaper and may have (large and small) scholarships to help you pay.
Step 4: Applying
In addition to the scholarships that you may be automatically awarded if you meet certain criteria, your colleges may also have scholarships that you have to apply for by yourself. This information will be located on a college’s financial aid webpage. There are also scholarships from nonprofit organizations and businesses. Visit my resources page for info, ask people you know if they’re aware of any scholarships, ask your boss and coworkers, and ask Google for “scholarships in [your town].”
Okay, I threw a lot at you, but those are the basics as I see them! You can totally do this. It’s going to be a big learning curve, but the payoffs will be big. And you can always come back here for more advice and reassurance. I’m proud of you already for thinking of your future and doing what you can to support yourself and your learning.

What are some things that are commonly said about your placements that definitely aren't true for you/you disagree with? For me it's being too proud to admit I'm wrong or being loud when I'm angry because of my leo sun and mars. P.s. I love your blog! ❤
Hey there!! 💕💕 I had to think about this for a bit bc wow… great question? 💕 I feel like MOST of the traits I disagree with/can’t see in myself at the beginning/as I go– slowly shifts over into something that ‘fits’ me as I get a better understanding of how it works for myself?
Like I used to be frustrated with the ‘capricorns are determined, ambitious goats’ because most of the stuff I read didn’t ?? correlate to who I am or what I understand for myself? But as I build up my own understanding/speak about it more often, I start to realize/understand that some parts of me is just….. undeveloped and I need to accept more for myself?
Like it’s also a part of self-love/acceptance?? I used to be icky about my 2nd house Capricorn stellium, I only listened to the things that are more 'acceptable’ in my own understanding about it (from my experience) and didn’t relate to the otherside of it at all (or didn’t want to accept it) – but as I feel more heard/comfortable with talking about the ‘good’ side… I also feel more chill and comfortable with learning about the ‘bad’ side.. (like getting from ‘good’ and ‘bad’ to just ‘signs are signs and traits are traits’ y know)
Like yes, Capricorn Sun in 2nd house is like ‘this’ but also it has some key lessons I gotta learn to develop by ‘accepting’ a part of me that I deny/look away from in order to – y know, get in touch and let be/love in myself as well – instead of denying it at all cost/not accepting it– because then I’m just?? sabotaging my own progress and suppressing myself from my full potential mostly bc I’m aware and strictly act in a way that goes AGAINST the traits and thats?? not so good for me in the long-haul?? I also don’t want to seem undeveloped even though I am (from my own understanding) and I’m missing out on a lot of things when I do that to myself (restrict myself)
I feel like… the more I get to self-express the part of the sign that’s not like the ‘stereotype’ the more I need to be less fixated on the wording/other people’s description (bc I have my own understanding now, my own stance. And its like– instead of being offended by it I kinda take it as a conversation/listening to their side as well) and y know, see the potential of where it’s going?? Does that make sense??
I feel like the more I don’t relate to my Capricorn Sun/Stellium in 2nd house… the more I lack awareness of it/don’t have the control I need in order to truly develop/get to my best potential? Because I’m at that good place where I’m like… okay this is my own experience/understanding of my own sign now but  signs are signs and– I’m at a place where I feel more confident about myself and more?? secured (less insecure) about personal development??
But yeah… sorry for the long answer but tl;dr I was thinking about everything in my chart and I think… hmm I’m at that place where I can feel more confident in myself and just disregard the ‘stereotypes’ that aren’t true without wasting my time on it.. at the same time, I feel like my lack of understanding/acceptance of certain things in myself certain interpretations can give me is holding my back from reaching/developing placements as well. And that’s something I think about a lot.
So…. no placements are untrue/disagreed with bc it has more to do with my understanding of myself and my own development… certain placements that were previously untrue/disagreed is more to do with either 1) the content that was consumed being unfocused and didn’t have that full grasps/understanding of the sign either or 2) my own lack of understanding/insecurities getting in the way of accepting things.
I hope this answers ur q 💕💕💕💕 Thank u for sending this in!! 💕💕 And I know what u mean with the ‘loud/angry/proud to admit theyre wrong’ stuff like… honestly I’d say ya gotta jus find ur own understanding of it/your own sign as well? It’s frustrating for Leo/Scorpio/Capricorns/Gemini/Libra bc of…. lack of focus/understanding around ‘why’ instead of ‘what’ they manifest y know. Like perspective wise, sometimes its an outsider looking in and u can tell when certain things are written by someone OF those signs vs someone who’s not (but is doing their best from observation) 💕 So I hope u can keep going n focus on ur own understanding of it as well 💕💕💕 Good luck!! 💕💕

I'm not sure if this ask is good enough but maybe a scenario about Bad Boy!Oikawa and a person he's so interested in, but his charms don't work on them, they're oblivious, and they always seem unimpressed (they secretly like him back but do a great job hiding it from him). Sexual tension would be great but you can avoid NSFW if you want! I picked Oikawa bc I thought it'd be interesting to see him chasing someone so hard, feel free to swap characters if you want! Thanks ❤︎
Holy moly this ended up WAY longer than I planned and awhole lot more serious without much NSFW or even sexual tension but hope you enjoy it nonetheless!
She remembers him from high school, he can tell by the lookof shock on her face. He can’t really blame her though. Anyone from those dayswould be surprised to see Oikawa Tooru, former pretty boy of the Abojosaivolleyball team, sporting an arm sleeve tattoo, a lip piercing and wearingripped jeans.
Pushing away from the wall, he approaches, stride steady, aconfident smirk on his face. But just before he meets her eyes again, a girlinterjects herself between them. Tooru’s former tendency to indulge his fansexerts itself immediately, old habits do die hard, and by the time he’s donewith her the object of his initial focus is gone.
Clicking his tongue, Oikawa shifts his gaze over the crowdedfrat house. There’s people everywhere, the semester kickoff party in high gear. Finally, he spots her on the dance floor and goodness can she move that body! She’s grinding up on some dude who looks about ready to cum in his pants.Oikawa is openly staring at her, willing her to make eye contact but she’seither completely oblivious or completely uninterested because she never onceloses her focus on her dance partner.
And Oikawa decides right then he wants that attention onhim. Sure, he’s always been a bit of an attention whore, but who could blamehim coming from the environment he did back in high school? Other than Iwaizumiof course.
His eyes stay riveted on her, still moving fluidly, sexily, and fuck now he’s got a tent in his pants just from watching her! Then again,it’s been a while since Oikawa has had any action of the bedroom variety. Justbecause his team is rough and tough doesn’t mean they don’t work hard.
Terushima makes certain of it.
Oikawa laughs a bit to himself thinking back on their first officialmeeting. He’d only ever seen the guy at tournaments, his team loud and flashy, but horribly erratic. Then something happened that shifted his focus and inaddition to having fun, he got smarter. His whole team got smarter.
And now he’s Oikawa’s captain.
Shaking his head, Oikawa zeroes back in on her. She’s stilldancing, smiling with sultry eyes and moving her hips just so.
She can feel his gaze on her, its intensity rippling overher skin like electricity but she remains focused. He’s not going to havethings go his way, not tonight. Because she’s in control and he’ll just have todeal with it. The song ends and she leans up, pecking her dance partner quicklyon the cheek. He goes to make a move but she shies away, giggling, “Thatwas fun, thanks for the dance,” then she’s absorbed into the crowd but notwithout stealing a glance at Oikawa only to find him still looking right ather.
Damn. Well, she almost made it without giving him a piece ofthe attention he craved.
And it’s only wet his appetite for more.
The next day Oikawa is still thinking about her, her sultrysmile, her bedroom eyes. With a self-deprecating laugh, he realizes he has acrush! An honest to goodness crush. He can’t remember the last time this hashappened, where his attention was so fully fixed on anything besidesvolleyball. Practice over, he makes his way back to his dorm only to see hersitting beneath a tree reading, her eyes narrowed in concentration at the textbefore her. Calling up his best smile, Oikawa saunters towards her, onlyspeaking once he’s right in front of her seated position. “You know, you’re toopretty to be frowning, you look much better dancing.”
His voice startles her and he can’t stand how cute she lookshuddled in an oversized sweater, leggings and boots. Is this really the samegirl he saw last night? It’s the perfect fall look, her hair blowing in thesudden breeze that’s kicked up. A subtle shiver overtakes her body and heshrugs off his jacket. “Here,” he offers draping it over her shoulders.
Warmth spreads over her body and it’s not just from theplacement of his jacket. Oikawa is looking at her with complete focus. She’doften wondered what it would be like to have his gaze turned upon her and now, looking at it, she’s both enamored and afraid. How could a high school crushlast this long? Or did it just flare upquickly at the sight of him, a knee jerk reaction to Oikawa’s presence? Sherealizes she should be speaking, should be saying thank you not only for thejacket but the compliment paid her earlier but the words won’t come.
He really doesn’t remember her.
Oikawa tilts his head, a little confused as to why she stillhasn’t said anything when she suddenly shoots to a standing position. Swiftlyshe removes the jacket, handing it back to him. “Thank you, Oikawa-san, but Iwas just leaving. Have a good evening,” she says a bit rushed, hurrying away.
“Oi, dancer-chan!” he calls, easily catching up to andstanding in front of her. “I’m at a disadvantage here, you know my name but Idon’t know yours?”
Her eyes are on the ground, unwilling to meet his and he wonderswhat he did to offend her. When she finally looks up, he flinches; her eyes areso hard. “If my name didn’t matter to you then, why does it matter to you now?”
“Eh?”
“Never mind, I…I have to go.” She brushes past him, willingher legs to go faster. Why did she think it was a good idea to bait him at theparty? Because she didn’t really think he’d do anything, that’s why. She justwanted to frustrate him a little, but the fact that he stared at her the entiretime and now approached her yet again is doing uncomfortable things to herheart. It was stupid, she’s not this person! She isn’t someone who toys withother people! And why oh why does she even wantOikawa? He’d be nothing but trouble, even more so now that it appears hejoined a gang or something.
“You barely know her, in fact, you don’t know her at all so why are you making such a big deal out ofthis?” Iwaizumi yawns through his question, eyes closing as he lays on his bed, phone to his ear. Even when separated by hundreds of miles, Oikawa somehowfinds ways to annoy him. Like calling at one in the morning to lament about howa girl he has a crush on won’t even look at him, much less talk to him. “Lookslike you don’t always get what youwant, Trashy-kawa,” he adds with a snort.
“Shut up, Iwa-chan! You’re supposed to support me, not kickme while I’m down!”
“Stop whining, you’re giving me a headache,” grumbles hisformer ace.
Silence fills the line before Oikawa takes a deep breath.“I…I don’t know why completely. And,” he adds quickly before Iwaizumi can shootanother barb, “despite what you think it isn’tbecause she’s playing hard to get. More like impossible to get but whatever,”he mumbles making his best friend chuckle. “The point is,” he goes on with asigh, “I…I really want to get to know her but she won’t even give me a chance!”
“Oikawa, are you just pestering her? I mean, I know youthink you’re a bad ass now because you have ink and a piercing but you’re thesame alien obsessed, volleyball idiot you were in high school, the dressing’sjust different.”
“You know, sometimes I really wonder why I call you my bestfriend,” Oikawa grumbles.
“I wonder that too, but the point still stands. Why the helldid you do that shit in the first place anyway?”
Oikawa grits his teeth. How had the conversation shiftedfrom him getting advice (so embarrassing)on how to get a girl to go on at least one date with him, to Iwa-chancriticizing his choices? “Would you please stop acting like my freaking motherand just help me out here?” he grunts.
“Fine, what haveyou done?”
“I left her a couple notes, one at her job at the on-campusbookstore and one at her dorm when I found out where she lives. You know, just,“hey I’d like to get to know you, text me and we’ll make plans”. But she neverresponds. I offer to walk to her to class but she says no. I even tried to joina study group with her but she dropped out the next day. I just…I don’t know whyshe hates me!”
Iwaizumi sits up, rubbing his eyes; there’s no way he’s gettingto sleep anytime soon. “Tooru,” he says and he can hear his friend sit up straighter,“Have you considered the possibility that your advances, instead of beingwelcomed, are putting her on edge? You said she’s changed since you first sawher, what do you mean by that?”
“Um, well, the first time, like I told you, was at a party. She was dancing and, just, wow Iwa-chan, she was so hot! Like, my jeans were tight enough as it is but then she startedmoving those hips and-“
“TMI! Focus on the question, Shittykawa!”
“Sorry, sorry! Ok, so the second time and really every timesince then, she’s been very reserved. Like, she wears these adorably oversizedsweaters that flood past her knees with leggings and ankle boots and her hairis always a little messy cause it’s so damn windy around here this time ofyear. Oh! And she has this cute little pout when she’s really concentrating onsomething and taps her pencil when she’s thinking and-“
“You realize you sound more or less like a stalker, right?”Iwaizumi cuts in but his tone is gentler. He’s very aware now of just how muchthis girl has managed to get under Oikawa’s skin. Part of him hopes somethingdoes work out between the two of them simply so he could meet her one day andshake her hand. A girl who got the indominable Oikawa Tooru to sound like a love-sickpuppy? This was one for the books.
“Iwa-chan,” Oikawa whines, “was there a point to thatquestion?”
“Oh right. Well, maybe the reason she isn’t responding isself-preservation.”
“What?! It’s not like I’m gonna hurt her or anything-“
“Oi! You and girls don’t have a good track record Oikawa! You can whine about it all you want, but it’s still the truth! If she knows youfrom high school, which it’s clear she does, your reputation is already set!And it sounds like you should know her if she was that upset you didn’trecognize her. Which is also not surprising since you always had your headstuck on volleyball!” Iwaizumi takes in a breath, knowing his words are going to hurt his friend but he needs to hear them and it always seems to fall on his shoulders to tell him hard truths. “And look at you! You’re projecting this “bad boy” imagethat is totally not who you are! But if she thinks it is, how could she not beleery? She probably thinks you’re just toying with her! Or maybe someone placed a bet! Unfair as it is, Tooru, people do cast judgement based on appearances and pastbehavior and both of yours are not doing you any favors.”
Oikawa inhales deeply, pain radiating through his chest. “Is…isthat what you really think of me, Iwa-chan?”
Iwaizumi groans, flopping onto his back. “No, because I know your crazy ass too well. I’mtelling you all this from the perspective of someone who doesn’t know you. Just, shit,” he rolls to his side, unsure exactlyhow to even help his friend, “if she doesn’t want to talk to you, maybe stop pushingthe issue? Give her some space to breathe.”
“I have! I don’t try this shit every day you know!”
“Then stop trying all together! Clearly it isn’t working sowhy continue to torture yourself like this? And for what? A girl you don’t evenknow?” Iwaizumi is at the end of his rope, tired of the circular formation ofthis conversation.
Oikawa sits silent in the dark of his dorm, but he nods. “You’reright, Iwa-chan. I…I just need to stop,” he finally agrees.
“Good. Ok, now, let me get some sleep asshole.”
Oikawa can’t help chuckling but before he says goodbye,Iwaizumi adds, “And I really am sorry.”
It’s been weeks since she last heard from Oikawa, hisdisappearance just as sudden as his appearance in her life. And though sheknows it’s the product of her own making, she can’t help feeling a bitdisappointed. Every time she believed she’d have the courage to reciprocate insome fashion, she lost her nerve, resulting in cold shoulders and brusque pushoffs of his advances. Really, she’s surprised he tried as many times as he did.
“I have no idea what’s wrong with you,” her roommate hadsnapped one day after she witnessed her friend practically running away fromOikawa,” he’s ridiculously hot and so into you, it’s a little sad. Why won’tyou go out with him?”
“I…it’s just, complicated, ok?”
“You’re just chicken shit. High school is already a lifetimeaway!”
“Maybe for you but it’s still raw for me!”
Her outburst had ended the conversation never to be brought upagain.
And now here she is, the setting almost an exact copy of thefirst time they’d seen each other. A party, a sorority one this time, that she’sbeen drug to by overstressed and overtly horny friends looking for a cheap buzzand a one-night stand. And there heis, leaning against the wall, but now, instead of torn jeans and a t-shirt,Oikawa’s sporting a button down with sleeves rolled to his elbows, black slacksand shined shoes. The contrast of his “preppy” look coupled with the ink stilladorning his arm and the ring in his lip invariably makes him even moreattractive, a fact proven true by the swarm of girls around him. To his right, she sees who she now knows to be his captain from the volleyball team, dressedsimilarly but rougher around the edges, opting for dark wash denim jeans, tightwhite t-shirt and a black button-down vest.
It really should be illegal to look so good.
“Ok everyone!” the house mother calls out. “Gather round, it’stime to draw for…7 minutes in heaven!”
A resounding cheer from the girls goes up while the malesall smirk and chuckle, elbowing one another in gleeful anticipation.
Swallowing the remaining contents of her Solo cup, she triesto head to the exit but her friend grabs her wrist. “Nope, you’re gonna getsomething tonight, even if it’s just kissing.” Protests fall on deaf ears, herhand shoved in the fish bowl drawing out a number.
“Alright, ladies and gents,” the house mother calls againonce the bowl is empty, “first up, number 12!”
Terushima pushes off from the wall, his movement pulling outsmall appreciative gasps from the surrounding crowd of females and one of them,a red head with cat-eye glasses, sashays up to him. He grins, taking her handand giving it a peck. “Shall we?” he asks gesturing to the hall closet. At hereager nod, he pulls her in, winking at the spectators before slamming the door.
A faint moan is heard from inside followed by a ripple ofteasing taunts and catcalls being thrown at the door. Seven minutes pass andthe door is opened to reveal a thoroughly disheveled girl stumbling out whileTerushima looks smug. “Oh my god, that tongue ring,” she murmurs to her friendswho giggle.
“Next up, number 9!”
When Oikawa steps away from the wall, a collective squealerupts only to be dulled to disappointed murmurs when each girl realizes they aren’this partner. Looking around, Oikawa searches for the girl he’ll have to put upwith for…no way. And there, blushing so brightly she looks sunburned, is thegirl who’s plagued his mind, both conscious and unconscious.
Smirking, he grabs her hand. “Can’t run away now,dancer-chan,” he whispers pulling her in and shutting the door.
Her breathing is rapid, breath fanning his chest and neckand he can feel her shaking under his fingers. He’s not sure if it’s the dark, the booze or both but Oikawa lets down his mask. “You don’t have to you know?Or…I mean, you could just pretend I’m someone else, if that helps.”
Her eyes shoot to his face. His voice is so dejected she can’tstop herself from whispering, “I…I don’t want it to be anyone else.”
That gets hisattention in a hurry. Grasping her shoulders, he murmurs, “What do you mean?”
“I…I want it to be you, Oikawa-san.”
“Time’s running out, are you still alive?” a muffled voicecalls but Oikawa ignores it. Ignores everything except the girl in front ofhim.
“Explain to me one thing then, dancer-chan,” he says, fingers toying with her hair, “if that’s true…why have you been avoiding methis whole time?”
He can feel her trembling, the cords in her neckconstricting as she swallows nerves and steels herself. “I was…am…afraid ofletting myself really believe you wanted me. I mean, in high school-“
“Yeah,” he interjects, leaning his forearm above her head, face inches from hers. She can feel his breath upon her face, minty of coursebecause Oikawa Tooru is always prepared, “what was that whole deal the secondtime I saw you?”
Her eyes close despite the darkness still hiding her face. “Itried to…to confess to you in high school. It was your third year, just beforethe tournament.” She feels him flinch, memories of that loss still obviouslyraw. She presses on quickly, “I brought you a bento box and some cookies andleft them in your locker with a note. But…you never responded, not even to tellme no. I waited for you by the school gates like a fool and you never came.”
Oikawa stares hard at her face, his eyes having finallyadjusted to the dark. He has no recollection of her at all other than a visagein a sea of faces continually vying for his attention. After a while it’sdifficult to determine one from another. But he remembers those presents.
“There was no note, dancer-chan. And even with as busy as Iwas, I would not have just left you there. I may have a reputation for being anasshole but I wouldn’t have done something so cruel,” he says lowly in her ear.
“Wha…what? I was sure…I know I put the note with it!”
He shrugs. “That may be true. Maybe it fell somewhere in mylocker or out of it when I picked up the gift. I remember it, clearly. I rememberlooking around for someone watching me receive it but there was no one so Ijust took it to be from a secret admirer or one of my fans and moved on.” Hetouches her cheek gently, “Will you let me thank you for it now?”
Unable to find her voice, she nods. It’s all the opening Oikawaneeds, swooping down to seal his lips over hers, the taste of cherry coke and badvodka lingering. He licks into her mouth, her own flavor much, much sweeter makinghim moan rather loudly. Her fingers clutch his shirt, knees going weak underthe ministrations of his tongue and the feel of his lip ring grazing hersensitive flesh prompting Oikawa to draw his arm around her, pulling her to hischest.
“Tell me your name,” he rasps.
“________,” she whimpers, lost in the feel of his touchagainst the soft skin on her back.
Before time’s up, he hoists her around his waist, throwingopen the door to the shock and awe of those waiting for their turn. Lockingeyes with Terushima, Oikawa asks, “Guest room?”
His captain grins widely. “Up the stairs, turn right, thirddoor on the left.”
Ignoring everyone and everything around him, Oikawa surgesup the stairs.
“What are you doing?” she gasps.
His eyes shift to hers, gleaming with a predatory glow. “WhatI plan on doing to you will take much, muchlonger than seven minutes.”
I know Terushima is ayear behind Oikawa but since this is AU anyway we’ll just pretend they were inthe same grade since I find the idea of Terushima as Oikawa’s captainhilarious.

Hi thank you for quickly answering about my sun-moon combo and my ascendant 😊 I learned that I'm a second decan aries.. If you don't mind I have something to ask about some of my placements I have Jupiter retrograde in Leo in the 5th house opposite my saturn in aquarius in the 10th house, my saturn also squares my moon in Taurus in the 1st house, I have been having a really hard time.. My saturn return will be soon too 😭 right now I'm in a place where I dnt know where to go..
Hey there!! 💕💕💕 I’m so sorry I didn’t reply to this immediately :(( I jus saw it now, I hope things are going well for u!! I had to take a week off as well phew things have been Kicking My Ass 💕💕💕
So I gotta break this down a lil for me.... Leo Jupiter rx in 5th,
Taurus Moon in 1st, square Aquarius Saturn in 10th
Phew ok, so to address your saturn return (congrats for getting to this point btw!!💕💕💕) hopefully things will be better for you or at least, revert to something more manageable 💕💕💕 Depending on transit, it can be harder or easier for the person bc of the natal placement as well (Jupiter’s in Sag right now and Saturn is in Capricorn) 💕💕
When I do social planets (Jupiter/Saturn) I try to look at generational planet too. It has a strong impact/influence on each other, so somethings to look out for-- Uranus is in Taurus now and once it reaches an aspect with your Aquarius Saturn (square) that will be around the time you might be forced to go through unexpected changes. It’s a good time right now, to prepare for that. Try to prep yourself to be ‘open’ to things, flexibility, paths.
Long-term plan might change, and stability might get wonky, try not to rely too much on what you ‘know’ of the world, or your position or who you are-- often times Aquarius likes over-hauls. Overture of their personality, public reception or criticism, life paths and independence. That’s in essence part of their self-transformation and individuality.
It can be a period where you’re humbled to start finding different paths/structure for yourself again. Remember that Aquarius is one of the ruler of Saturn, but often time it’s rebellious (unlike Capricorn). The 10th house has to do with the public, so a lot of the time-- you may fare better if you prepare to be confident in yourself/your changes thus you don’t feel like you’re completely losing your footing in the public y know (as opposed to others opposing you, and then you start doubting yourself/feeling isolated/alienated again)
The main key here is that the 10th house is the highest point in your chart, and often times when it’s going through some changes --- you’ll have to consider how ‘others’ are going to see your problem/situation too and will most likely judge you for it. In an ‘unexpected’ aspect (Uranus-Saturn) a lot of restructuring might surface, frustration and tension tend to rise.
Evaluate-- clearly, why little things rile you up or make you tense. This is a sign that you should probably start keeping checklists for yourself on what kind of changes, paths, restructuring you’d like to make because-- most of the time, the criticism/frustrations are valid. They are things that do require changes, because you are growing as an individual and you deserve to have a better path and goal for yourself.
Of course things might get turbulent, but again-- try to believe in yourself and not others/what you materialistically have or has built up for yourself. You’re still growing, and this saturn return is going to have you humbling and starting from the ground on certain things if it gets to that (potentially/not always).
There’ll be period where you’ll have to question the stressful system, limitation or restrictions you’ve been complacent/settled into. Think of this period as something to cut off the excess, to renew and revigorate yourself. Aquarius demands alot of hard disciplining lessons, you’ll have to be flexible and patient.
Unlike Capricorn, it’s a period where you’ll most likely have to wait for things/circumstances to come to you and adapt/flex as you go (air sign after all, even if it’s fixed) Aquarius is self-made, even if it’s at the cost of the things it’s built for itself crumbling.
Communicate, if you can-- and try to let others know what you’re doing along the way (doesn’t have to be the same people, new people who come into your life are often good choices too) build support for yourself with those who see, and can accept the changes you’re going through. Who has your best interest instead of those who clings to the old or has their own personal insecurity in mind.
It’s completely normal to not-- know exactly where to go, or feel like you’re losing sight of things you knew were sure before (if that happens for you) remember it’s a period where planning and clinging onto the past will be faced with Taurus Uranus’s questioning-- most likely, there’ll be frustration to an extent. So try to be patient, flexible and open-mind about circumstances. And believe in yourself. You’re your biggest supporter here, so do it!
Try not to resist the changes, or over-think too much. It’s a time and period where your Aquarius will be put through some test of patience. Think of it as a round of Taurus vs Aquarius boxing match, but instead of seeing it as black as white as that. Taurus is actually trying to make Aquarius manifest itself better by working as the catalyst for Aquarius to take action and get back into it’s original energetic form-- that is, believing in the self, being someone who can often think or see past old out-dated thinking, methodical planning but not exactly commitment, and working with the flexibility of air-- and the amusement of fixed signs. Try to reconsider that instead.
If problems start arising, restrictions starts forming and you can see that it’s causing you frustration. Deal with it or don’t let it settle into your new life with you, learn how to tackle these problems instead of ignoring it or letting it get to you. Remember, Aquarius can often ‘explode’ too, so make sure you deal with things the way level-headed Aquarius can do.
Right, that’s probably not coming right now though... And we’ll be going through some Pluto shifting into Aquarius as well--- maybe that’ll catalyst something for you too. Make sure to consider your personal placements as well, but let’s get back to your natal??
Jupiter opposition Saturn can sometimes make the individual ---hmm swing between wanting something, having the other. It’s a matter of swinging between recklessness, spontaneously, ‘good things come when you act upon it/want it’ versus being too cautious, hesitant and serious that you end up don’t do things at all. Individuals of this position may often find themselves working between the two--- as they may find that having patience, perseverance and channeling their attitude forward tends to help them with situation a lot of the time.
You’ll notice it, but both of these social planets makes the ‘public’ important to the individual, needing to seek approval or being seen can happen too (knowing how they’re seen) a certain way is always an important component. Through transits and whatever is happening (saturn return), it may become more prominent with you and you may feel frustrated that-- you act or say/seek things a certain way, when you really want to seek approval of yourself or find communication harder to bare, harder to be accepted, harder to beloved.
Realizing habits/behaviour pattern of yourself when you’re with others is common, Leo/Aquarius aren’t dumb and are very aware of how criticisms against their character can go. Often times you want to deal with internal problems like--- ‘no this is who i want to be/who i am’ yet at the same time, you keep acting in other ways. This frustration might be more prominent, particularly because it’s squaring your Moon that holds your emotions. Taurus here is at a position where it wants to be honest, open. But at the same time, the quarreling between Leo/Aquarius can be hard to settle in mutual agreement if you aren’t just shutting/suppressing them down completely.
Thats why being confident, prepping yourself to be ready for your Saturn return is important. The earlier section-- also I hope you can read the Saturn post as well, might be helpful? 💕 Don’t rely too much on thinking ‘oh this is like my childhood’  -- certain things can stick and stay, leaving a taint/mark on you if you let it ‘settle’ into a norm for you. Dealing with things and small frustration, talking to people, helps a lot 💕💕💕 I hope this is helpful to you! 💕
