hello friend! I’m not sure where you were looking, I do have designs for both the mlm (pretzel the shepherd puppy) and achillean (bacon the beagle puppy) flags that i’ve posted about!! plushies for both of them will be part of my second kickstarter campaign that’ll be next year. these are just pictures from my manufacturer as we’re still working on the samples!

I know it’s frustrating to not see some flags/identities represented in pride merch as much, but please be kind when voicing your interest for it to merch creators, especially small businesses! I have to sell a pretty large amount of a plushie to start to break even money wise (unfortunately making plushies is incredibly expensive) and some flags had a lot more interest behind them than others. additionally I can only work with so many designs at once - I’m one person designing and shipping all of these out of a basement apartment with not much space. 😅 it breaks my heart that I can’t make a plush for every single identity, but unfortunately I just don’t have the resources. 😭 😭

I know other pride merch creators have said similar things as the same kind of issues come up for almost any type of merch - please know that most of the time there is not any malicious intent behind a creator not having a variant of a design for every single flag!! we want so badly to do as much as we can but we are all limited by how many of a design we can sell some times, as horrible and capitalist as that sounds </3

I love to hear that people are interested, I run all sorts of polls and google forms to try and research what people would like and I’m always happy to hear! just asking that you assume the best of intentions when voicing that interest :)

same with vash! he is not just naturally kind and soft etc. those are Active Choices that he makes every day. he could have so easily closed himself off just like knives and honestly i wouldn't blame him for it!

and knives!!!! was a really sweet kid! he was honestly More emotional than vash before he shut down. knives is not naturally cold and sharp. he made himself that way! he killed the softness inside him bc it hurt too much and he will Not let himself get hurt again.

Funnily enough dad doesn't really get the game I'm basing on our cottage's surroundings (or RPG's in general) but mom is absolutely stoked about it.

Okay yeah, mom has been here since her childhood and her family roots are here, so to her my project is personal on different way than for dad. But it's still funny that mom, who is even more clueless about RPG's and pop culture and the whole shebang than dad, is almost as excited as my friends who are about to play it. She also wants a big copy of the map I haven't even made yet, so that she can hang it on a wall. I will probably make a card version for Mother's Day as sort of a "preview".

If anybody in this shitty world understood him, Mary was that person. They’d shared a similar childhood after all, introduced to one another by rich parents who were far more interested in showing off in front of their fellow socialites than they ever cared about their kids. Other children might have envied the glamour and privilege they held, of living it up in fancy penthouses and visiting the most expensive establishments but they would never understand what it was like, knowing the ugly truth about the masks their parents wore and how they behaved behind closed doors, away from the public spotlight they adored so much. How many years had it been? Too long and yet not long enough at the same time, back when they’d been the very picture of innocence. Mary still was, her appearance as bright and youthful as the day they’d first met back when he hadn’t been much taller than her but looking upon the woman now... it was a stark reminder as to how so very much had changed between them, even if she still looked like she hadn’t aged a day since their loathsome parents forced them to play together and become friends. For a time, he and Mary had been one and the same, dolls to be seen and not heard. That didn’t stop them from talking, whispering together in hushed, conspiring tones as they played nicely with their toys. Out of sight and out of mind like good little girls, their mothers had said, but they’d known better, even way back then. Sadly it couldn’t last. Over time they’d drifted apart as they faded into obscurity in their own ways, one family no longer in the spotlight while the other took to her career, rising and falling spectacularly. In spite of it all, Mary Dahl was still the same canny person he remembered from back then, so expressive, so understanding that with a mere glance, she could perceive others and rightfully show her disdain, yet remained talented enough to conceal both her thoughts and true self behind her deceptive features. That was just the thing though, wasn’t it? Appearances were only skin deep and what really mattered lay far beneath that.

Roman supposed it wasn’t too surprising it took somebody else who went through a similar upbringing to know what that was like.
