Chilchuck analysis speedrun: As a hardworking half-foot who grew up poor and discriminated against and had his gullibility taken advantage of multiple times in his early adventuring days, Chilchuck thinks optimism is a dangerous flaw. He’s stressed and strict all the time because his job is noticing details like traps that could get everyone killed before anyone knows it, he takes the lives of everyone to be on his shoulders, and with the way he speaks about it that probably partly reflects how he felt about taking it upon himself to provide for his family too. His life’s always been pretty centered around work and has become even moreso now that his wife left and everyone is independent, and due to past events he’s very iffy with bonding with coworkers. He thinks feelings and job are a disaster mix. Like with his wife or with parties hiring him as sacrifice, being open or having good faith is vulnerability which can get you hurt, so he processes and shows all his stress as anger instead of worry. Doing strict dieting probably isn’t helping the irritability what with hunger, and on top of being a hunger suppressant alcohol might be the main stress reliever he has.

Okay so apparently, APPARENTLY, there has been data put in for a character by the name of Feixiao… y’know The General of the Xianzhou Yaoqing so I think the next ship might already be decided 👀

And listen, I wanted the Zhuming, I still want the Zhuming, I hope it’s next because I need Huaiyan like I need air in my lungs… but Baiheng is from the Yaoqing and Jing Yuan said her family was one of the most renown Foxian families on the Yaoqing which could mean Baiheng lore is very VERY likely WHICH MEANS I STILL WIN 🎉🎉

Say what you want about being tired of the Xianzhou, I NEVER get tired of it not even tired of specifically the Luofu. Partially because I love exploring immortality both in terms of the extent of immortality and self healing but also the extent to which lifespans fundamentally affect all parts of people’s lives like in specifically regards to love to give one example. Thinking about like Banxia from Bailu’s story quest and also the world quest about the Vidyadhara guy (who himself was… ugh) who keeps falling in love with this one Xianzhou Native for multiple reincarnations, jealous of his previos self each lifetime, and how she gradually loses the spark and interest in love and passion due to her lifespan and her continuously going through this?? The exploration is so good… I love that they went multiple long life species with different lifespans and circumstances around being long life, it gives so much to play with and I am so so excited to see us go to another part of the Xianzhou fleet and have just their circumstances explored more !!

I know none of my friends really care about this because they’re not into lifting (understandable) so I’m just saying it into the void. but I benched 180 lbs for a set of 5 today for the first time and I’m a little bit proud of myself. I weigh about 140 right now, which I think puts me near intermediate levels by male standards. Kinda reassuring because I’m a year on t and considered myself about intermediate by female standards when I started. It’s nice to know I’m catching up

have had a very disappointing and stressful morning but at least i am sitting by the ocean with the sun shining on my face

#appreciating the ocean while i can before i move to canada in a week #i’m like . very upset and feeling dramatic and i think im within right to cuz it meant a lot to me #was meant to be going to the a15 action in my city and i had it all planned out #but i don’t have a car cuz my friends car broke down so i let them have mine early #and i planned to wake up at 5:30 and drop my mum off at work so i could have her car for the day #but then yesterday at the rally my friend was like oh i’ll come with u! #so after we drove back from melbourne i left my sign in their car (my car…) #and then this morning 5 mins before they were meant to pick me up they were like oh i’ve been called into work #which like understandable that they need the work but telling me 5 mins before u were supposed to pick me up…. 25 mins before the event… #anyway the next bus was so much later but i got on anyway after stressing a bunch #and i was like well even if im an hour late i still wanna show up #but it ended literally right as i got there im so upsetttt #i think the main reasons i’m upset is cuz this would be my last action in australia #cuz i’m moving in a week and i can’t go to this sundays rally in melb #and i was gonna give away my sign cuz i don’t want to throw it out but i can’t take it with me when i move #and i planned to participate in this for weeks n had it all sorted out i should have just gone with my own plans :( #anyway it is what it is i’m disappointed but i’m sitting in the sun by the ocean listening to day6 so it’s all fine really #p

Okay I’m STILL thinking about the MBS muppet movie (thanks MBS fandom, specifically @mvshortcut @itsgoghtime @sophieswundergarten @oflightningandstars).

Because I’m torn on this casting thing. You see, I love the dialogue between Kermit Reynie and Curtain (Milk’s edit was amazing), but I also love the idea of Reynie played by Walter and Kermit as Nicholas, so that we can have a heartbreaking flashback of baby Nathaniel being left behind as tiny muppet baby Kermit (Nicholas) leaves with his new family. Also the whole thing about Kermit freaking out because the other muppets kidnap Jack Black in that one movie could parallel nicely with brainwashed Nicholas being upset his friends are kidnapping his brother. Plus having Nicholas as Kermit and SQ as Robin the frog further encourages the Nicholas SQ parallels (plus Google confirmed that Robin is Kermit’s nephew).

Now on the other hand, I’m not the best at muppet lore, but I believe Walter does have a human brother, which would make Walter being Nicholas more character fitting (plus Curtain and Walter as Nicholas could do the “Am I a muppet or a man?” Song), yet Walter seems like a younger puppet based on vibes and Nicholas needs to have that old wise mentor vibe.

We could also have Tony Hale as Nicholas and have Curtain be a muppet, which I believe itsgoghtime suggested, and that would be perfect, because I love the idea of Jackson and Jillson getting bossed around by an evil muppet. However, the muppet in question would need to look scary enough to be intimidating, but also be able to handle the scenes in the season finales where Curtain is crying and falls asleep in season 1 and thinks Nicholas is gonna die in season 2. I think Ms. Piggy is good for that, but I also really like Ms. Piggy for Constance, because the sass and the pink fits perfectly.

Now I don’t know if anyone still has thoughts or strong opinions on this, but you all are the ones that flipped this switch in my brain, so by golly you’re gonna hear what comes out.

And that includes any more scene dialogue my brain autogenerates. Including what’s in the tags (this is for you Sophie)

Hot tip for all you touch starved lonely bitches out there - I think I’ve cracked the code on the most optimal sleeping configuration to induce realistic cuddling dreams!

1.) at Least two pillows, one for your head, one to grab onto while lying on your side (body pillow is best, and I also like to keep a third, normal sized pillow on my other side in case I need to switch sides)

2.) weighted blanket (mine’s 15 pounds but you could probably go heavier if you want)

The blanket is really important bc, I’m pretty sure I had them occasionally before getting it, but the First Night! I added that bad boy I had the most realistic cuddling dream I can remember.

I’ve had several since then, (including a rather nice one last night which prompted me to make this)

Now I’m no sleep scientist, but I think the sensations of hugging the pillow and the weight on top of you stimulate your brain into Cuddle Mode - and the best part is it’s way more comfortable than actual cuddling! (Since you’re actually just on pillows and not having to deal with the annoying bits of human limbs and awkward angles)

I’ve been playing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for a week now and, so far (unsurprisingly), it’s been mostly enjoyable and entertaining!

There’s just one thing I think feels a bit discouraging if you’ve played Breath of the Wild…

According to my Switch, I spent at least 315 hours in that game 100% completing everything that could be 100% completed (map, pieces of armor and their upgrades, Hyrule Compendium, etc.)��� and now it kind of feels like I have to do that all over again. Of course, the games aren’t identical; although the world is (almost) the same, there are many new places, items, enemies, and mechanics. A lot of things changed so you don’t literally have to redo everything you’ve already done, and it makes sense that all players had to start from the same point. Still, I wish more of my progression had carried over. Especially the Hyrule Compendium :’)

But, as I said, Tears of the Kingdom has been a nice and fun experience so far, and I’m only getting started; I’m excited to (re)discover everything it has to offer! And at least, they gave me all my horses back ♥️
