i cannot for the life of me find the ask, but this is what the fushigojo apartments (and house!) look like!! ps: i’ve attached the name of a song to each of the apartments that i think fits their time there!

the green tea & honey apartment

so here we have the first apartment! it’s fushigojo mom’s apartment— a cute little two bedroom close to the school. gojo doesn’t have his own place yet, and he doesn’t want to bring two zenin kids to the gojo clan, so this is the only place he considered raising them in. the kids are good at sharing a room for a while, but then they start kicking each other out of the bed in the middle of the night and are starting to need their own space, so after 2 years, they move!!

core memories in this apartment:

- trust was built here

- megumi lost his first tooth (and summoned his first shikigami! see: loose tooth)

- gojo and megumi shared their first father and son moment (see: off days)

the coming home apartment

this is the second apartment! gojo rents this place. it’s a little bigger, a little more grown up. it has three bedrooms, so the kids finally get their own! it’s a little further into the city, but closer the middle school gojo wanted to send them to. they stay here for a long time. it hosted birthday parties and sleepovers. movie nights and homework sessions. living room dancing and kitchen table bills. first fights and family meetings. i don’t know why i’m getting so emotional thinking about how much they’ve all grown here. they must have been so sad to leave it :( which they do, after about 8 years.

core memories in this apartment:

- love grew here

- megumi brought a “date” home for the first time

- fushigojo parents “breakup”

and finally, the sweet nothing home

their forever home 🫶 gojo had it built a little ways out from the city and let fushigojo mom fill it with things they love. they brought pieces of their old homes to create a place to rest, to love, to heal. the perfect balance of gojo’s unnecessary spending habits and basic practicality. it has a lot of bedrooms for all of their adopted kiddos to visit and to host their friends! there’s also a nursery 🥺

TBB Season 3 Ep 6 & 7 spoilers

I realized something last night while rewatching Ep 6

Howzer’s helmet only has the two strips now opposed to his original helmet that was covered in teal:

In the episodes he asks Crosshair if he remembers him and his squad from Ryloth, that the empire killed them or took them to Tantis and he was obviously super pissed about it (rightfully so). The two strips has traditionally been a way for Mandalorians and later clone troopers to honor their fallen vode. Gree has his hair shaved in the two strips and Echo had two stripes on his helmet for domino squad before the Citadel.

I think this is Howzer’s way of remembering and honoring those in his squad that have fallen or been lost.

Of all the heartbreak contained within “Doctor Bashir, I presume?” I think this is the most heartbreaking thing to me:

Because, while it may be true they weren’t ashamed of young Jules, it still stands that the genetic resequencing was about them. About Amsha and Richard, and not about Julian. They made him illegal, and they say it’s Julian’s own good, but even here, it becomes about them and their feelings. It’s not about doing the right thing for Julian, it’s about setting their minds at ease. It’s about fixing something they believe is wrong with him.

Not even when they’re trying to say they did this for Julian, is it about Julian.

I thought about this sad scenario today so of course I have to share it ☺️

Imagine if Luke somehow defeated Kronos and survived the Titan war by whatever means you could think of. After the war Percy doesn’t automatically get kidnapped to go on another quest, so he’s able to spend Christmas with Sally and Paul. However, before Percy leaves camp he asks some of the year round campers if they would like to come with him so that they wouldn’t have to spend Christmas at camp.

Percy extends that same invitation out to Luke. Since the end of the war Luke and Percy have worked things out and have started to rebuild their friendship, but Luke is still a bit shocked by the invite.

He ends up going anyways.

When Luke sets foot in Percy’s house the first thing that he smells is the aroma of fresh baked cookies. He tries not to think too much about it. Tries not to think too much about…

Then Sally is standing in front of him, a warm smile directed at him while she offers him a fresh chocolate chip cookie. And for a split second, Sally’s dark brown hair looks more blonde. Her eyes change from deep blue to more of a pale blue. And her voice changes until it sounds familiar. Painfully familiar.

After a moment, Luke tentatively reaches out to take a cookie from the plate. A single tear running down the right side of his face as he took a bite of the cookie warm in his hand.

They tasted just like the ones his mother used to make.
