Junkrat knows German because one night he had the great idea to learn another language and spent seventeen hours straight learning German (Roadhog suggested that language) before passing out and waking up two hours later to spend another five hours learning before burning out and now he knows most of the language.

The irony of tumblr changing its desktop layout to twitter is that staff has been saying "we need to change for the majority of the new user; the minority of long-time users just need to deal with it" when its probably the long-time users who use desktop the most bar-none.
I have so many friends who made a tumblr since covid who say "I literally don't even know what tumblr looks like on desktop". New users don't even change their desktop themes because they don't even know that is a feature. because they're always on mobile

whatever, i've reached a state of zen about it all actually. i don't want to blow up the team -otter with my mind anymore. they're just trying to build on the near-reverse-sweep vibes of last year's playoffs and lull all of vegas into a false sense of security by sucking as much as humanly possible

Nother headcanon regarding Strawhats / Redbomb kid interactions: Robin is the only one who can manage to get all three siblings to be quiet and relaxed when they hang out together, because she will sometimes just whip out one of her books and read something to them. Rory and Skye both are legitimately interested in what she discovered and thought was interesting enough to share and they like her pleasant and quiet voice. Blaze can’t retain most of the informations she talks about (it’s funny when he does tough), but her voice is even more of an asmr for him than for his siblings and so he will just be in a pleasant headspace as soon as she starts talking in her reading voice. Rory’s favorite books are anything that is morbid and probably includes the most gruesome parts of human history. Skye likes books about Flora and Fauna best. Blaze likes the Denden Mushi phone book the best because it’s the longest likes books about legends and other cultures, especially if they go into culinary traditions.
Just enjoying the idea of autism creatures Redbomb siblings (or at least two autism and one adhd creature Redbomb siblings) hanging onto slightly bigger autism creature Robins every word as soon as she gets out a book that’s well above all their reading levels.
That's an absolutely adorable headcanon! Thank you anon!
Can imagine easily Blaze casually infodumping his family on trepanation like if nothing because of the three sentences he memorized from Robin's lecture.

okay so i used to follow the overwatch league up to the 2020 season and ive been missing it a lil and decided to watch some old (ancient) matches from 2018, (which is just about the only old owl matches you can still find with any sort of ease)
then got bored and since the owl has been going continuously since then, i watched a lil from the 2022 season
and like. yeah i expected changes i know theyve been adding heroes to overwatch and changing the rules and overwatch 2 is a thing now??? i lost track of it a long time ago tbh ive not been following this for like 3 years
anyway okay different arena different stage - it’s only 5 people per team now huh?? oh Carpe is still there its nice to see a familiar face. what the casters tearing into him now cus hes been there too long??? okay uber and mr x literally the same casters as we saw in the inaugural season. lay off the good man Carpe fucking rocks okay hes a great player and i literally dont know anyone else in this whole match. only 1 tank now per team which is sad i loved watching the flex tank players. new heroes that im not familar with i was expecting that
but you know what really threw me, and made me unable to watch anymore?????
lijiang tower!!! it’s not even night time anymore!! what the hell is this??
okay im done now i think it may be time to never check out the owl ever again sadly

watching the last 10 eps of mlc with the novel still rattling around in your head is truly just an extended experience in alternating between *chinhands* and (overwhelmingly) *head in hands*

pq posting before i go to bed! a shorter session (3 hours) but it was nice and i'm happy to say that i finished you in wonderland!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
THIS WAS SO FUNNY... honestly i don't think i give enough credit to akihiko and mitsuru's dynamic they're literally so good i really enjoy how well they know each other but also they're like.. a constant in each other's life and i do enjoy their interactions a lot even if i never vocalize it...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
wow yosuke, who would've thought that you two are partners, this guy literally introduced himself as your wife /s (i kinda regret naming souji yosuke wifey but im glad i wrote the y in lowercase bc otherwise i wouldn't be able to tell their dialogue apart 💀
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and finally, yosuke <3
some more elaborate thoughts (aka speculation) under the cut because i learned my lesson from last time
ok unfortunately i can't say that im going to go AS INSANE as i did last time when i was spitballing in the tags for the second pq posting just because i feel like i aired out most of my "AAAA WHO IS ZEN AND REI??" there but.
i do have to say that i'm very glad i'm at the point where p3 and p4's casts are able to interact! i can't tell if it's because the writing feels like it shines a little bit better here rather than the solo casts (sometimes i roll my eyes at how junpei and akihiko are with some of the traits the writers play up), or if it's because i'm a guy who's very endeared by crossovers and interactions from characters who didn't exist in the original source material.
i had a lot of times where i was writing things down in my notes software during the crossover segments and im just?? really endeared and creatively inspired by it, to be honest. i really like this aspect of pq.
i think something that catches my interest with zen and rei at the moment is the difference in how they're.. regaining their memories. like... it's interesting to me that zen is able to get some of his memories back from the stuffed rabbit marked with "niko," but rei doesn't. i don't really know how much i can speculate off of this atm (i feel like this is something i'd get more info on when i progress through the second labyrinth, or it's something i'm missing out on because i can't use intertextuality to piece things together. i dont know shit about alice in wonderland.)
like it does make me think that maybe these two are like.. separate entities in that respect (rather than a shared one? but i could be wrong, and i welcome that!). but also there's something that makes my brain go "AAA" about how adamant zen is about wanting to protect rei despite not having any memories, because my brains like "WELL WHAT IF ZEN'S TRUE IDENTITIES AND MEMORIES ARE ACTUALLY THE OPPOSITE, AND DON'T WANT GOOD THINGS FOR REI." poorly phrased but like, it's about the irony, y'know.
i have no fucking clue what rei is supposed to be if we're going under the notion that they're two different things that have lost their memory (she is so head empty only food and its precious tbh). but like my brain just thinks that zen is just... going to end up being some awful incarnation or something like idk. there's something about persona characters with amnesia that make me raise my eyebrow... like just look at ryoji and marie and teddie...
and i guess as another thought on the matter, the way zen and rei work mechanically speaking does make me ponder a bit because like.. obviously, yeah, they can't equip a subpersona because they're... GESTURES. not persona users but FUCK, the way zen and rei have very distinct skillsets just make me wonder if those can allude to what they symbolize. like zen's skills are much more.. destructive and im just like (AIGIS VOICE) "YOU ARE DANGEROUS."
anyways. i am very much invested in the identities of zen and rei but i am also glad that the crossover stuff is here too because i think the sillies will keep me inspired... and also im just happy to see yosuke... i really like yosuke even if i forget that i do a lot of the time..
last thought, after seeing souji talk and move, i think i'd definitely want to look into p4 side... because um. 🥴 i'm really simple guy. i need more minato in my life. (everyone rolls their eyes. i'm predictable!) i want to see minato move and talk. i want to think about him. he's my boyfriend. he's my wife. he's my universe. im being so cringe about him but I DONT THINK THIS IS A SURPRISE TO ANYONE... i like him a lot (NO SHIT, LIZZ). but!!! idk if this'll be something that i watch or play, it depends on what the NG+ functionality in this game is like...
anyway gn!! thanks for reading my delusions im very much enjoying this game and im happy to be playin git.

I still can't believe how much more appealing Yoosung is in everyone else's route besides his own LOL. Tho' one thing remains is that no matter what, Yoosung really is a ride or die for mc. Like... he will NOT care if he gets the shit beaten out of him if it's for mc's sake, he will do crime and trust that it's for a good reason (and that Seven and Jumin would bail him out LMAO). Even tho' he's a crybaby, he will let anyone know EXACTLY how he feels, doesn't care if everyone doesn't agree. He's extremely loyal, honest, and open to whatever if that means it would make mc happy. His innocent nature allows others to let their guard down around him and pamper him, but deep inside he's obsessive, possessive, and pretty scary-- And so I love him.

in an attempt to work out a timeline, here's a vague series of events surrounding the squad prior to (and very early into) arr
(~60 years before present) Verre is born, raised, and trained in the Skatay Range as a scout.
(~30 years before present) Verre finds a strange device that leads Garlean invaders to her home village, destroying it in the process. In her grief she resolves to wander as an exile, seeking new technology in an attempt to curb her rampant curiosity and crushing guilt.
(~26 years before present) A hrothgar queen-to-be leaves her home village in an attempt to claim absolute freedom, though she is unknowingly pregnant at the time. She gives birth to a daughter during her travels.
(~25 years before present) Zezene "Zen" Zene arrives in Ul'dah claiming to hail from the freshly conquered Dalmasca, but no records of their life there exist. They begin to carve out a meager life as a thief and information broker.
(~25 years before present) The hrothgar woman finds an auracite shard and becomes enthralled by it, becoming increasingly paranoid and controlling of those around her. She resolves to train herself and her daughter as a weapon to combat her delusions.
(~21 years before present) Zen has fully integrated into the Ul'dahn underground, becoming a staple contact for many ne'er-do-well's. They note a group of contacts that want to get out of the life of crime and begin to formulate a plan.
(~19 years before present) The daughter has her first echo vision, earning great disapproval from her mother and losing her name in the process. She stays with her mother in an attempt to regain favor.
(~19 years before present) Zen opens a 'hunting hall' to be their base of operations - a front for their information gathering gig and a way to help people go legit should they desire it.
(~18 years before present) Zen hears rumors of a strange viera visiting the shops of Ul'dah asking for machinery. They successfully track down the mystery individual and recruit Verre to their operation as a tinker.
(~16-17 years before present) Yomi is born in an underwater raen village. She is terribly sheltered, but educated well and set up to inherit her mother's position as oracle.
(~15 years before present) In response to the Battle of Silvertear, Zen establishes ties to Clan Centurio and the adventurer's guild, despite the latter's waning popularity at the time.
(~12 years before present) The daughter is abandoned by her mother after failing to regain her favor. She namelessly wanders as a mercenary, convinced that her visions are a symptom of madness.
(~10 years before present) Verre tells Zen about her past, revealing her still-fresh grief for the first time. Zen encourages Verre to see them and their operation as a family of sorts in an attempt to soothe her.
(~5 years before present) Zen brings Garlean scrap to Verre so she can tinker with it. Verre passes along her findings to the Eorzean Alliance, namely about structural weaknesses and stress points. She also uses the scrap to build an air conditioning unit, much to Zen's confusion.
(~5 years before present) In the final leadup to the Calamity, Verre asks to fight at Cartenau alongside the Eorzean Alliance. Zen has a bad feeling and talks her out of it, sparing her from the front lines.
(~2 years before present) Yomi's mother receives an ill omen about her daughter and the danger she will associate with.
(~1 year before present) Yomi's mother tricks her into exile under the guise of pilgrimage, hoping to spare her village from impending doom. Yomi sets her sights on Eorzea, oblivious to the truth and the state of the realm at large.
(~1 year before present) Yomi arrives in Ul'dah and immediately falls for an obvious scam, only to be saved by Zen's timely interference. They offer to give her a place to stay and work to do, which she graciously accepts, meeting Verre in the process.
(~week before present) The nameless mercenary, weary and despairing after long years of wandering alone, sets her sights on Ul'dah's adventurer's guild.
(present, start of ARR) Upon arriving at the Ul'dahn adventurer's guild and being prompted to provide a name, the mercenary took the name of Nailah, though she is reluctant to introduce herself as such.
(present, start of ARR) By chance, Zen recognizes Nailah as a newcomer and decides to try and give her a place to stay, as she seemed down on her luck. In their attempt to help they learn her name and use it in conversation, causing her to become extremely defensive and leave upset.

So I saw @shandzii's OC Roto, and the timing was just too perfect. I was literally already drawing another picture of Zen with suspicious hand shaped dents on her arms. xD
Due to having robotic limbs that she can repair or replace herself, Zen isn't as careful as she maybe should be. But it means she can be closer (physically and emotionally) to the animatronics than other employees. For better or for worse!
It doesn't hurt her, unless the internal mechanisms get damaged. But even then she wouldn't hate Roto, she knows the risks she takes working at (and often breaking the rules at) Fazbear's Pizzaplex. She signed all those waivers after all.
