it hurts going online and trying to find ways to help yourself with your pd and just seeing a bunch of articles talking about how to help other people deal with YOU how to starve YOU of your needs how to ignore YOU
i just want to find ways to help myself and voice my needs properly with my npd and hpd, but all i am getting is page after page of how to deal with people like me. how to make people like me have a narc drop. how to ignore people like me. how to change people like me. how to get rid of people like me.
what about me helping me? why do people think we are incapable of change? we can be self aware. we can want to change. we can want to help ourselves. we arent bad people for having a disorder.

Hiii! <3 How are you? I hope you're having a great day/night, anyway, maybe you need this because you're not feeling ok right now, so I'm going to tell you some tips to feel better.

Taking care of yourself is essential to maintaining good physical, mental and emotional health. Here are some practices you can adopt to take care of yourself:

I know this is a dumb thing to be upset about but I was supposed to have my hair done tomorrow and it got canceled again. I’ve been trying to have it fixed since MARCH.
I also know this is a huge privilege to have the opportunity to get it done and I recognize that!!
I’m just so frustrated because I don’t feel pretty and was hoping this would boost my self esteem since it’s been down for a while (I’m having issues with my skin and I’m frustrated about it). Anyways, I won’t complain anymore. I’m just tired of feeling like this and really needed this.
