Alpha/Alpha couples were more and more common these days, especially in the hero world "a kid?" Kirishima was curious as Bakugo shrugged "a brat would be nice, we have the space and our agency is thriving.." Bakugo said not making eye contact with his mate who looked at him with so much love "it's like you read my mind~" the Alpha said hugging the other who scoffed "whatever shitty hair"

Days turned to weeks and before they knew it they were at an orphanage where a bunch of kids were running around "welcome! The Kirishima-Bakugo family yes?" The orphanage headmaster asked curiously and the two nodded "yeah that's us!" Kirishima said happily and Bakugo grunted "wonderful, sign the sign in forms and if I could please see ID as confirmation?" The two handed over their IDs and the headmaster scanned them "excellent! Why don't I give you two a tour yes? And then you can meet the children?"

The building was nice, up to date and the children were healthy "so what age range are you looking for? Secondary gender?"

"We were hoping to just click with one and go from there" Bakugo let his mate do the talking as kids looked at them curiously "I see, well let's go to the play area and you can interact with the children"

Walking into the play area, kids were all over the place but one caught Bakugos attention, a small pup grabbed his pant leg "oh hello (name)" the headmaster smiled "he's one of the younger ones, only one and a half" they said and fixed the boys pants "he's a happy little Omega but isn't the most talkative but the other kids don't seem to mind" they explain as (name) raised his little arms to be held by Bakugo who lifted him "what ya want squirt?" He asked the babe who grabbed his nose with a smile.

Kirishima noticed the look in his mates eyes, the connection he instantly developed with the tiny pup who didn't even know he had the number three hero around his tiny little finger.

The three spent the day hanging with the little pup who showed him all the toys he liked to play with, having a red riot toy and a Mickey mouse toy seemingly running or robbing a bakery "very cool bud" kirishima said and (name) beamed at this.

The two made visits at any chance they could as the process started for the adoption, expedited thanks to their hero status and rank, the two already setting up a bedroom for the tyke.

"Yeah it's for you" Bakugo said as he handed the tot a scented Dynamite plush, to help get the little one familiar with their scents as parents which thankfully (name) was incredibly receptive to as he clung to both of them regularly.

"Thanks squirt" Bakugo said as they sat with the little one who handed the blond a toy slice of cake, the three gathered at a toy kitchen and (name) didn't seem to know exactly what he was doing but was having fun none the less "his belongings have been packed, he's ready when you guys are" the two heroes looked elated as kirishima lifted his /son/ high up, the tiny Omega squealing in delight at the action.

It was never easy saying goodbye, the headmaster knew this but they put a strong face as they bud their goodbyes to the tiny pup who mimicked the wave as his little head rested on bakugos shoulder.

They were always worried about (name) getting adopted, male omegas weren't the highest for adoptability not to mention the boy hasn't even developed a quirk yet, sadly many parents didn't want a quirkless child...

(Name) held onto the plush of his dad as he was set down in the apartment, the little Omega inspecting things and waddling around and making little sounds as he sniffed his little nose, clearly happy to be around the two alphas scents-- recognizing that they are his dad's. "Wanna see your room?" Kirishima gently took (name)s tiny hand and led him to his new room, (name) made noises as he looked around and turned to his dads who looked at him fondly "yeah it's yours shorty" Bakugo said, a sense of calm washing over him as they watched the babe look around...before dragging a throw blanket to a corner and ditching it.

The two alphas were confused as little (name) took random soft things and put them in the corner and just stared at it before looking at his dad's happily as if he just did something incredible "is that...?" "A nest? I think so" the two were incredibly proud of their pup and snapped a few pictures of this, kirishima on the verge of tears at how precious it was.

(Name) felt like that last piece of the puzzle as followed his dad's around happily.

They just worried how he would handle all his aunt's and uncles.

That's definitely not because Kenley's stopped seeing him as a potential threat, he knows, and can't help suspecting it's that they trust Kon more than they don't trust him. 

Or they think Kon's going to be easier to manipulate than the rest of them, given the clone factor, and–

"You're doing good, Kenley," Kon says, giving Kenley another gentle little squeeze. Tim remembers, again, how quickly he had that name to hand. "Want a lollipop or something after this? Gar's probably got some kicking around if Bart doesn't.” 

"Why?" Kenley asks. 

"This is basically your first doctor's appointment," Kon says reasonably. "Lollipops are traditional, right?" 

". . . hm," Kenley says, brow just barely creasing assessingly. 

"Kon, they've never eaten anything in their life and you want to start them off with candy?" Cassie asks, putting her hands on her hips and looking exasperated by the idea. 

"Yeah," Kon replies with a shrug. "Tasting stuff for the first time is really overwhelming, simpler flavors are easier to start with. Not gonna want to order them paneer right now, you know? Maybe get them some of those bottled smoothies to start, actually, on that note. I puked the first couple times I tried eating and I'm pretty sure my teenage stomach was more capable of handling solid food than a kindergarten one is gonna be. Plus sugar tastes good, and Kenley should get to taste something good for their first time." 

"Oh, uh, good idea," Cassie says, blanching slightly. Tim empathizes with the urge to backpedal on saying the wrong thing here. Deeply empathizes. He's not sure it would've even occurred to him to make sure that Kenley's first experience with taste was a positive one or that they might have trouble with solid food right off the bat, himself. 

Kon's "ours" comment is both making more and more sense and also is probably for the best, at this point. 

“What flavor do you wanna try?” Bart asks Kenley, peering curiously at them. “Wonder Girl's favorite is cherry and mine's orange and Robin's is green apple, so you might like one of those or you could try–” 

“Mango,” Kenley says, burying their face in Kon's chest and gripping his jacket again. 

. . . that's Kon's favorite, Tim knows. 

And he'd be a lot less concerned by that choice if Bart had actually mentioned that fact. Especially because mango is a much, much more specific and unusual candy flavor than something like grape or lemon.

I've finished the idea and finally worked up the courage to post it to you. I'm also sending it with my actual account instead of turning on anon mode because I'm proud of my work. So here it is, my very well thought idea with a bit of angst:

Just a heads up, this is the first time I'm ever requesting something like a story on anyone, and I know nothing about the omegaverse but I am somehow addicted to it, so I'm going to keep the prompt vague or wording stuff weird whenever I don't know what I'm talking about (it's problem why this whole thing will sound really choppy)

The character the reader will be interested in is Gorou who's a couple of years older than he canonically is. And the reader being a couple of years older than Gorou.

Gorou is a Alpha and the reader is a Omega

I imagine the reader being like gorou and having animal ears and a tail.

Gorou and The reader know each other from when they grew up in the same neighborhood. The reader being very adventurous one out of the two and Gorou being quite protective over the reader.

When the reader is an adult they were in a relationship with a different alpha and becomes pregnant by said alpha (who is pretty much an unknown entity) and for some reason that alpha leaves the reader as soon as he learns about the reader's prgnancy. Gorou learns about this and becomes even more protective over the reader who's taking the whole situation really hard.

Then the story goes on to the child being born and the kid looks coincidentally like Gorou and he pretty much adopts the kid and starts dating the reader, which ends up with the two marrying.

Feel free to change and add anything to this, because I feel like its missing a few pieces. Like I said before, this is the first time I've ever sent out something like this, so it's probably not the best but it's better than just having the idea and not doing anything about it (I've done that so many times).

Gorou smiled as he waved bye as well. It was now night and Gorou was supposed to be asleep till you poked your head into his room scaring him.

“Hi, Gorou!” You whispered shouted making him exhale as he placed a hand over his heart.

“It’s late Y/n, what are you doing here?” Gorou asked as he got out of his room since you began walking away.

“I heard the adults saying there were going to be fireflies tonight! I wanna see them with you.” You said and began marching to where they were.

“Isn’t it dangerous to be out this late thought?” Gorou asked as he stood close to you, holding onto your hand for comfort which you didn’t mind. “When you’re with me, there’s nothing dangerous.” You huffed till you two were in the middle of the forest.

“Touch the leaves.” Gorou hesitantly poked a leaf making multiple fireflies quickly leave it, their light brightening the dark and damp place. You ran around touching any leaves you could find while giggling, now making the place brighter.

“Isn’t it pretty?” You asked with a big smile making Gorou’s heart jump around in his chest. “Yeah..very pretty.” He said his attention was on you and only you.

By the time you were adults, Gorou was the general of the Watatsumi Army and you of course were something like his sidekick since he trusted you and knew you longer than anyone else. But you had to step down from that role after finding out you were pregnant.

The father? He left as soon as the news of you being pregnant got out leaving you devastated and heartbroken knowing your pup wouldn’t know or have another parental figure in its life.

“He left you?!” Gorou shouted as he clenched his hands, bawling them into a fist.

“I’m going to find him and—” “Gorou please calm down.” You sighed as you placed a hand on your stomach, a frown present on your face as your ears flattened at the side of your head.

Gorou’s facial expressions softened seeing you so sad. “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure to be by your side.” He mumbled and held you close to him, creating a comforting scent making your body relax.

Throughout your whole pregnancy, Gorou has been nothing but kind and sweet to you even when you’d yank his hair a get upset at him sometimes, but that was caused by hormones something you couldn’t control. Of course, he understood that.

“Gorou..” You whispered and shook the man out of his sleep. “Hm?” He grumbled and sat up, placing his hand to the side, and suddenly felt something wet.

“The baby..” You breathed out, sounding like you were in pain. His eyes shot open as he removed the blankets, now seeing your water had broken. Gorou didn’t waste a second getting you ready and running to the infirmary with you in his arms.

During the whole process, it was like hell itself came into Earth. You ended up kicking a nurse unconscious by accident and nearly broke Gorou’s hand as they helped deliver the baby.

“It’s a girl..” The nurse announced as she placed your pup onto your chest. “Is she mines? Is she my baby?” You asked as your consciousness slowly came back.

“Yeah, she’s yours,” Gorou said softly as he moved some of your hair that stuck to your face to the side. “She looks like you, so beautiful.” You sniffled and held her close.

“I know this may be a little too early and you’re not in the right mind right now, but…will you date me, Y/n?” Gorou asked as he fiddled with his hands, his tail swaying side to side slowly. “I mean..you don’t have to if you don’t want—”

You slowly sat up and kissed Gorou catching him by surprise, but he knew your answer right away.

You ended up naming her (daughter's name), a very beautiful and suitable name for her. By the time she was a year old, the two of you decided to get married.

“Dearly beloved, we are gathered here tonight to join this man and this man in matrimony.” The priest began as he looked over the crowd of you and Gorou’s family, along with friends.

“Gorou, do you take this man to be your husband, to live together in matrimony, to love him, to honor him, to comfort him, and to keep him in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?” The priest asks as he faced Gorou. “I do.” He answered.

YOUR SHIFTER LORE HAS LEFT ME WITH QUESTIONS (Also thank you so much for the (fan) food, it was delicious. My nerd brain is *thriving*) 1. In regards to seeking the pack approval before using the term "mate" does that only apply to shifters seeking that, or do their human (or otherwise) partners ever do the same for their shifter partners (ie: asking their partner's shifter pack for approval to call them their mate)? 2. Did Evie do this for Knight? They were lovebirds for so long I would lean towards no, but Evie also clearly respects Claire, so I could also see her at least bringing it up with her as their sister. 2a. Would Seer do this for Beth? Or is that up to personal headcanons? (I personally love the idea of them trying so hard to do right by her that they ask the Pack for approval, since they've heard her slip in calling them "Mate" (as well as the vision) and wanna be prepared now that things are more secure with their relationship). ...Oooh, or would Beth have a problem with that, since she doesn't like things chosen for her (ie: would seem likely to rebel the tradition)? 2b. I feel like Ranger would do this just to respect Pack traditions (since they clearly hold the standards for magic and its rules, as well as rules in general, very seriously) and show respect to Claire as the Alpha. 2c. That actually leaves another question: do Alphas take part, or is it assumed they can do what they want, as the Alpha?

3. Were Omegas respected titles, before the "weak link transition? Their main role was being the Alpha's bedmate, not a Mate, but they also had the responsibility of helping produce strong heirs, so that makes me think of honored consorts and such. Sort of like how royals of old had their political marriages, but often had their "true loves" as consorts - not married, but still well respected (only with Shifters, that dynamic is reversed a little, obviously, since they have Mates, not assigned partners.) 4. You realize I'm gonna have to write something about some douche referring to Ranger as Claire's Omega (in the condescending way - ie: they're there for their body, nothing more and are weak) while trying to act like they're a better fit, yeah? The idea of one or both kicking ass over it gives me joy. 5. What made pack adoptions more rare? Has it just been less of an issue as packs adjusted to smaller groups? (Side note: I absolutely love this concept as a whole, shifter packs coming together to give children who need it a loving home and support system. I *adore* the entire concept of community upbringing for children who have lost their parents)

If both are members of the pack, then they would both look for pack approval. If one is being brought into the pack, it's not necessary, however it does makes for good brownie points if they do.

2. Evie didn't do it for Knight in the official sense, she and Knight didn't really know about the custom to begin with. The pack just automatically accepted that Evie wasn't going anywhere so there as no need to ask. Claire did take the time and invited Evie over to have a heart to heart about and Claire gave her blessing.

2a. I feel like Seer would try to go traditional and ask for the Pack's approval once they and Beth had agreed they wanted to take that step. As much as Beth doesn't want her life chosen for her, the idea of finding her mate and doing things "right" has been something she's looked forward to since she was little. Her mom didn't find her mate until too late in life, so Beth would want to uphold every custom that her mom couldn't.

2b. The second Ranger finds out about this custom, they'll send every pack member a hand written letter to ask to meet in person and ask for their blessing.

2c. Alpha's do participate! When an Alpha takes a mate, they also ask for pack blessing. Their taking of a mate is actually held with more scrutiny than any other member, usually including the mate needing the Beta's specific blessing above all else.

3. The Omega was a well respected title and one that was envied by many. They quite literally carried the future of the pack, so they were protected and revered until the role was no longer necessary. The insult of "weak link" was to undercut the actual importance of the position.

4. I expect this fic on my desk the second it's finished!!

5. Yep! Smaller packs and shifters separating into their own independent units over time made it less popular, but no less necessary for the children who slip through the cracks.

(This aspect of the lore meant a lot to me when establishing it and Claire's adoption makes me so emotional 😭)

Plot: Chan is an alpha and falls for an omega whose body is weak and is unable to carry pups and this is their story. 

Warnings: femFelix! Omega Felix, Alpha Chan, Omega reader. Surrogate Felix! Insecurities from Myla and Chan. Angst with a happy ending. 

Chan x Myla.

Everyone assumes that Omega can carry pups but there are a few omegas that are able to but some are extremely weak to do so. 

How they meant:

Myla sighs softly as she walks down the hallway of Megaverse High, it was her last year of high-school and she already wanted it to be over, she hated school. 

She just wanted to find a mate already, half of her friends have already found a mate but she hasn't. 

As she continues to walk she looks down at her books real quick and she walks into a wall well, not a wall but into someone's chest that feels like a wall. 

Myla looks up and blushes when she makes eye contact with Chan who's the swim captain of the school and an alpha and she whispers softly "I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attention." 

Chan gives her a sweet smile and brushes his blonde hair back before speaking softly "It's alright omega." 

Currently (2 years later)

Myla cuddles against Chan's chest and she gently nuzzles him as he sleeps which causes him to rumble in his sleep which sounds like purring. 

Myla smiles at the sound before getting out of the bed and goes to the bathroom to take a shower since she was getting sweaty. 

As she washes her body she wonders if Chan is truly okay with them harding a hard time making pups, when they found out she had a disease that would make her extremely weak during the pregnancy, she remembers how Chan acted, he grew distant with her and sometimes pulled away from her affection. 

They went to counseling and she came to find out that Chan was feeling guilty about pushing the pups onto her and he had started crying saying what if she had died giving birth? It would be all his fault. 

Myla had comforted him and told him she would not blame him and she doesn't blame him for wanting pups because she wants them too. 

The counselor had told them that they're are other ways of getting pups such as adopting, or hiring a surrogate to have a pup. 

Chan said he'll think about it to which Myla had also agreed with. 

She would like to go through pregnancy with Chan, but she mostly just wants to have a pup with him, her body is just weak to carry a baby and she always feels so guilty for not being able to give him one due to her weak body it's also hard to get pregnant. 

She lets out a sigh as she rinses off the soap and she squeals when the curtain is pulled back which causes Chan to chuckle and step in and wrap his arms around her body before kissing her ear gently "You left my side why baby?" 

Myla blushes and giggles when he nuzzles his face against hers and she whispers "I got sweaty baby, you know how much I sweat unless it is under you." 

Chan gives a playful growl and kisses her shoulder and he whispers softly "Sweetheart, you know I woke up to a certain feeling through our bond, can you tell me what's going on in your beautiful head?" 

Myla blushes and she whispers softly as she puts her hands on his arms "I'm just worried that you don't want me anymore because I'm having trouble having pups." 

Chan whimpers softly from her words and he whispers "Sweetheart I would never have that feeling, I just want you, how about we hire a surrogate?" 

Myla whines and turns around in his arms and whispers softly "what if you want the surrogate to be your mate?" Chan scoffs softly and huffs out before speaking softly "I won't and I'll tell you why, my wolf, whose a stubborn alpha loves you, he fell in love with you the moment you crashed into me on the first day I meant you. My wolf doesn't want anyone else and you know what my human self doesn't want anyone else either, wanna know why? Because I fell in love with you the moment I felt you and when I looked into your eyes I knew you were meant for me, my perfect little soulmate, so please get those thoughts out of your mind beautiful." 

Myla tears up from his words, before stepping on her tippy toes and pushes her lips against his. 

Chan smiles against her lips before gently kissing her back holding her close, as they kiss he gently rubs her back before putting his hand on head and plays with her hair. 

He pulls away and nuzzles her head gently before helping her wash up. 

They hire a surrogate (The surrogate is already pregnant with their baby) 

Myla fidgets with worry as Chan helps the small omega outside with her bags, once he brings them in he walks over to Myla and he whispers "Sweetheart stop fidgeting it's going to be okay." 

Myla gulps and nods and Chan hands Myla the bags and he whispers "Go and put the bags away. I'll be in the kitchen okay?" Myla nods as the surrogate: Felix walks in and she gives Myla a smile before walking over her. 

"Hi, I know this is my first time meeting you but I'm Lee Felix, I've been a surrogate for a few years and I've given birth to eight babies already, I heal more quickly than other omegas." Felix says to her and Myla smiles feeling more at ease with meeting Felix and she speaks softly "Hi Felix, It was nice meeting you, If you need anything just come to me." 

Felix nods and says shyly "I will do that, Chan told me that you were nervous about meeting me, most mothers are but it's going be okay." 

A few month later (the surrogate is in she second trimester)

Chan curls into Myla’s back as they cuddle on the couch as they watch TV. Felix is in the kitchen making something in the kitchen. 

Myla told Felix she could make her something but Felix told her to relax and she told Myla that she likes being active while pregnant. 

Myla just nodded at that and just cuddled back into Chan's arms who was happy to have her in his arms. 

Chan gently rubs Myla's hips and he whispers softly "How are you feeling sweetheart?" 

Myla bites her bottom lip and she whispers "Just nervous and anxious about meeting our pup, I hope he has your eyes, channie." 

Chan chuckles and pulls her close and he whispers softly "Are you starting to nest along with Felix? You both are driving me crazy from coming home from work, if I bring one mug track through the house I never hear the end of it." 

Myla blushes and she nods shyly before speaking softly "I just want everything to be perfect, Chan, we're getting a pup. I already have the nursery set up. The only thing I need help with is putting the crib together." 

Chan chuckles and says softly "I'll put it together baby, you need to rest and just relax until the pup gets here, you're going to overwhelm yourself so much." 

Myla blushes and nods before speaking softly "Alright, I'll relax and take naps here and there but I'm just going to do other things for Felix and the pup." 

Chan chuckles and gently cups her face with one of his hands and pulls her close nuzzling into her holding her close. 

Third trimester (Felix already gave birth and has moved out of the house) 

Myla wakes up the moment she hears the pup: Levi crying, she looks over at a snoring Chan which causes her to giggle and she gets up before running to Levi's room. 

She was obsessed with her pup, he looks exactly like Chan but he has Myla's rare color.  

After she feeds Levi and changes him she just holds him for a while in the rocking chair humming soft tunes to him, she lets out a soft gaps when she hears Chan speak from the doorway "I knew you'd be here, sweetheart."  

Myla blushes as Chan walks over to her and the pup and he gently takes the sleeping pup from her arms and puts him in the crib and walks back over to her and picks her up and he whispers "Come on love, let's get some sleep okay, I miss you, I just got competition now with the pup being here huh?" He playfully says as he holds her close once they get to the bedroom. 

Myla giggles softly and kisses Chan's lips before saying playfully " you sure do." 

Chan playfully puts his hand over his heart and says "Get those thick thighs back into bed so I can love up on you."

Ok wait, I have questions…

So clearly I knew some things about Pit Babe before watching it but now that I’ve seen the first two eps and have thought about them for a few hours I have some things I wanna ask/say. And I wanna look back on this post when I finish the show to see what I got right/wrong and if my questions were answered 😄

From what I’ve seen on tumblr: I think Charlie is an enigma (or is Babe?) and Charlie can steal people’s powers like Rogue from X-Men but only from prolonged exposure. Babe has super heightened senses, and apparently everyone has a superpower? But they don’t outright say what they are in the show so you have to guess? Or do just alphas have powers? Episode 2 told me Babe was Daddy Tony’s ward/adopted child and that makes sense with Tony being the ringleader for a secret group trying to make the “best” alpha race like that historical art school reject cause it means Tony killed Babe’s family to get him and his powers.

Alan is called old but how old is he actually??? As a soon-to-be 29 year old I will accept no “30 is old” slander!! 30 year olds are still hot and sometimes even hotter than when they were in their 20’s!! Just look at the GMMTV men for example!! Earth! Tay! New! Jimmy! 😍

There’s no mention of betas or omegas right? So do they not exist in this world, is it just alphas and regular people? I don’t think I’ll get this question answered 😅 I know mpreg is canon though! That’s a plus!

I knew that Charlie had a secret plan to take Daddy Tony down but what exactly is his motivation? Are he and Jeff brothers? Or is his brother some other character I haven’t officially met yet? Were they “adopted” like Babe was?

Feels like some want to put emphasis on family in almost every relationship in this series; and quite a bit of others where it's not biggest theme. Occasional maybe, but not the whole aspect. (And for something that is complex as family; biological, found or otherwise, people seem keen on making each one virtually the same in concept.)

Gonna drop a hot take and I fear angering a bunch of people at once, I just hope they hear me out all the way through first lol. But I wanna be honest about how I feel about this

They really do. There's a huge push for every dynamic between the characters to be familial and for all to have family of some kind lately. You have tons of people going "x and x are literally related and found family/adoptive family and everything else is wrong", acting like it's undeniable canon, in places where it's never been explicitly labeled as such, or doesn't exist at all, or is only somewhat resembling of a family dynamic but still up to interpretation, or is a lot more complex than the typical expected nuclear family structure and simplifying it removes what's interesting.

For example, I can see how Charmy is like Vector's son if you consider he's taken him into care and the dynamic they have in games but even then it's not said outright. But then people act like Vector signed adoption papers and with Espio as his other son and Charmy's brother even though he doesn't have anything like that dynamic with him in the games at all, and say it's "literally canon"... Why is Espio forced into that box? People decide on ages alone as if they've ever been a huge important point in the series but they're barely acknowledged

Then there's a push for Team Dark to have Rouge as a mom/sister and Shadow and Omega as kids/brothers when none are implied. Rouge isn't motherly just because she cares for Shadow, she's only 18 (plus in a bio they considered her having a thing for him so) and isn't sisterly either. Shadow treats their team ups and interactions like business with the objective in priority and goes off and does his own thing when it's over, he's not implied to live a domestic family life with them. And Omega is Omega, he doesn't think of himself as family to Rouge nor Shadow just because Robotniks created them, he just wants to destroy Eggman's shit lol

Team Rose is what I think of being one of the more familial types, but again only really from how Big acts like their big brother in the Heroes saying he's gotta get tough for them and looks out for them like that. But even then that's not set in stone as they're barely together as a team and it's all just based on vibes and they only call each other friends. But there's definitely more of a logical case than the other teams, but again I think as only in a much more casual and mild way than what people want. So I just think of them as being good friends with things in common with family dynamics but it not meaning they're literally family.

I even think of Team Sonic as all friends first, despite brotherly esque interactions depending on how you view Sonic and Knuckles interacting maybe, and how Tails was said to be seen "like something of a" little brother to Sonic in a bio and called his bro a couple times in game. But people kinda overemphasize there too as it's much more casual and not in the way they signed adoption papers to play strict family roles. For the most part, it feels like they're friends and parts of their dynamic can resemble the dynamics but it's not a strict family structure and role assignment.

What's funny is Silver and Blaze were stated to have a sibling like dynamic, with Blaze seeing Silver as a brother in a bio and people get mad when it's brought up because they ship them. That's when they stop caring about family type dynamics, if it gets in the way of their ship lol. I have no problem with people who wanna ship them as they're not literally adoptive like I said for the others so do your thing. But people getting mad and rejecting the idea that's official if it gets in the way of their ship, yet claiming other family type bonds are official when they aren't is ironic XD

And now with Eggman just because of Sage, people act like literally every single robot ever of his are all canon sons and daughters and he's the best wholesome dad and nothing more than one and all he does is play with them and have family days out and isn't his own person anymore. Kinda heavily reminiscent of the nuclear family dream propaganda pushed all the time that irks me as a gay guy who had had that forced onto me incessantly... Seeing a comfort character forced into all the things he's helped distract me from by fans when it doesn't exist like that in the games is rough.

Plus it involves ignoring the specific selfish, egotistical, and shallow reasons that Eggman accepted Sage as being as a daughter and why he half-heartedly entertained her desire to see Orbot and Cubot as brothers, which are very different reasons than "he was lonely and had no purpose in life so he wanted to become the nuclear family stereotype of a dad and thanks to Sage he is and he's actually a good likable character for it now!" It pushes the idea that everyone needs a romantic relationship and/or family to be whole and worth something and it's uncomfortable :(

Even more for how shallow, manipulative, and conditional his dynamic with Sage is and how he treats Orbot and Cubot like shit which, if he entertains the dynamic of them being Sage's brothers, it makes him an absive father already and doesn't magically undo that. (Plus in games past Frontiers he continues to be cruel to them.) And he's never seen other creations as kids, closest is calling the E Series brothers but only referred to himself as their creator, not dad. Calling himself Metal's dad is IDW only and doesn't make sense to be canon. But even if it was, the dynamic is a casual silly thing and not a deep meaningful thing there, just like it wasn't with the E Series so it worked.

But people want Eggman and his creations to replicate a nuclear family structure and dynamics one to one, as if his bond with Sage isn't anything but ordinary and he isn't terrible to his creations. He doesn't see all of them as his kids and all of them don't see each other as siblings. It's even more clear in how I see people asking members of Sonic Official like "will Eggman get a girlfriend/wife so Sage can have a mom" and it makes me feel ill. It's clear they don't understand Eggman's dynamic with his creations and why it exists and just want him to replicate the nuclear family dynamic, get a romantic partner, and conform to the life script because they think he's better that way.

And man one of the many reasons Eggman is special and appealing to me is he's a middle aged man that doesn't show an interest in biological family or romantic relationship, instead happily living without that, embracing his commonly considered childish passions and unconventional dreams. You have no idea how happy I was about in character terms of Eggman and Sage's dynamic in the game and how he expressed aversion towards biological natural reproduction. That's special to me. Not to be dramatic but seeing fandom act like he's not good or likable until he perfectly replicates the life script nuclear family structure dream instead is kinda heartbreaking.

Like even if you want to look at any of these bonds of a case of found family, why does it all have to be in the structure of nuclear family dynamics and all these specific strict labels and dynamics forced onto them where they don't even exist, or at least are much more casual and still more friendly than familial? Why does it need to have everything about it be exactly the same aside from the biological blood relation? Like you said, there's way more forms and complexity than that. It can be way more interesting and meaningful to show how it can transcend that, how it doesn't have to follow the guidelines of the expected life script and nuclear family structure just with a different coat of paint.

Intentionally or not, it pushes the idea that one has more purpose and worth if they create the nuclear family structure in one way or another, that one is missing something without it, and life has more meaning and is better with it. It gives the vibe of conservatives and those that feel we should all follow the life script and have more purpose and meaning when we create a family- because it's helping make virtually the same concept look appealing and pushing the idea it's always needed. It can still serve as propaganda that can give an impression to the audience they should comply, find it or create it to have more meaning in life, and put pressure on them the same way instead of it being optional, because it's been shown to them exactly the way biological relation ones are.

If it was presented that way in canon, it would be propaganda and that makes it uncomfortable to me being aro and gay. Not saying everyone has to agree and appeal to me, I'm not the main character of the universe lol. But I don't like to see romance or forced family dynamics from nowhere or being made to replicate the nuclear family structure they're expected to end up with. That's just like if they had gotten into romantic relationships, without the relationship but still the results. With the way fandom has been pushing it, it's no different to the concepts displayed in nuclear family propaganda, only biological relation aside. And that doesn't make it any less uncomfortable for how it replicates it otherwise, it's just the nuclear family structure disguised at that point and can have the same effect.

I like how the series has a big focus on friendship instead. Romance is very rare and small in this series focus and there was very little focus on family before Frontiers too. It was always the power of friendship overall. You can be friends without being anything like a family and it's just meaningful, in case everyone is forgetting. What was once the people saying "stop shipping everyone with each other, not everything is romantic" are now like "ALL the characters are all/should be family, everything is familial". And I dunno man, I kinda just like them all being friends like they're literally meant to be for the most part lol

Of course people can do what they want in fanon but the insistence that its all literally canon or the push for it to be played that way in it if they acknowledge it isn't feels bad with all this in mind. But again that's just my opinion and I'm not demanding everyone to cater to me with their fanon creations. I'm not focusing or hating on specific creations, just sharing my thoughts on the general concept and dynamic that I'm free to dislike just like anyone is free to like, and talking about why I wouldn't want fandom's take on all of it to ever become canon to the series. Some that get mad may twist my words either way but just wanna clarify anyway.

But yeah, tldr the way people are really just using the idea of found family and characters having any kind of familial esque dynamic between each other as a way to replicate nuclear family structures exist in them because they think it's "better and more interesting" that way is starting to make me really uncomfortable and dislike it for how it simplifies and waters down the dynamics to force them into that box. I know there are plenty of good ways to present and explore such dynamics without it going that route, it's just that this has become so much more common instead and people get mad if you're discomforted or not a fan for any reasons and it sucks.
