RANDOM MIGUEL HCS
I have so many thoughts about this man you don't understanddddddd
~ HE CANT COOK Like he can but only when he's sleep deprived and zoned out. He'll make the best feast you've ever seen but if he's well rested and awake he can barely make pasta HE NEEDS TO BE POSESSED BY HIS ABUELITA TO COOK LIKE A GOD THEREFORE ONLY SLEEP DEPRIVED COOKING BC CAN YOU IMAGINE HIM SO FRUSTRATED WITH SLIGHRLY BURNT FOOD AND THEN ONE DAY HE WAKES UP TO ALL OF THIS BOMB ASS FOOD AND HES SO FED UP he's just like- come on and no matter how hard he tries he just can't replicate it because he tries measuring but sleep deprived Miguel measures with his soul so its not as good. The desserts in the Spider Society Cafeteria are all his abuelas recipes (he will never tell anyone that though. He's sworn the cook to secrecy)
~He always smells like grease and oil because in the spare time he has at work or when he's frustrated and needs a little distraction he works on little mechanic projects. No matter what cologne he wears (he always smells delicious) there's the underlying scent of car oil
~He's like a cat sometimes. A very large very heavy cat that insists on wrapping his arms around you and leaning on you while you cook for him he's not very aware of the fact that he's almost 300 pounds of pure muscle atop you
~Secretly likes being the little spoon because you make him feel safe
~Would rather suck a lemon than admit he likes the music you listen to (he hides his Spotify from you because his workout playlist is most of you songs)
~Loves letting you put eyeliner on him while you're getting ready for a date. He gets ready quickly and sometimes he gets impatient so you grab his chin and smudge some gel around his eyes. Much to your detriment it makes him look hotter and he stares at you all puppy in love while you put it on him.
~He always wants a lipstick stain of yours on his jaw. Always. He's a taken man and he hates people flirting with him, he just turns his jaw long enough for whoever to see. He will absolutely take you to sephora and hand you his card. You go through lipstick like water becaise of him(edited)
~He smells like car oil/grease, mexican hot chocolate and orange blossom fabuloso. always the orange blossom fabuloso bc hes a clean freak
~Has a soft spot for animals, especially bunnies. They're so soft and cuddly and he would rather die than admit he has a pet bunny because he'd be teased relentlessly
~Miguel is the type of man to drive like Dominic toretto taught him how to drive Ain't not a care in the world swerving and weaving. You're late? Hahaha no. You're there 5 minutes early with coffee in hand because ue drives like a bat out of hell You know he boutta pull up because you can hear his car 10 minutes before he actually shows up. Man got diabolical bass and subwoofers The house vibrating the road vibrating alladat man He pulls up with shades and one arm out the window like "cmon mami we got places to be"
~He can definitely do your hair. He knows how to use a curling iron, flat iron, blowouts all of it bc of Gabi. His hair is always so luscious because on god he has more hair products than you and he takes at least 15 minutes each morning making sure his hair is soft and perfectly styled. If youre going out hes for sure doing your hair "mami you look like a princess hold on let me do your hair."

son of hades!riki watching femreader!daughter of apollo heal/comfort and later on cutely playing with little toddler campers to cheer them up and falls more in love w her bc of how good she is w kids
(its percy jackson themed, i hope im making sense😭 basically the reader has healing powers)
OH HELL YEAH PERCY JACKSON AA i dont even know anything ab the actual series, but i have read fics with its concept and ITS SUCH A COOL IDEA 🫶🫶 i had to do a bit research and it says hades kids can shadow travel and have earth powers..? hope thats correct jshdjd this was so fun to write, ty for the req anon <3 !! SOFT HOUR REQS ARE CLOSED !!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
11:14AM — it was the hades’ kids turn to babysit the younger campers.
riki found kids a bit annoying, much too troubling and loud for his taste. but he couldn’t deny that the little boy he was assigned to supervise for the day was more than adorable.
his name was mingyu, a hermes kid with black curly hair filled and big brown boba eyes, his cheeky smile growing whenever riki swung their intertwined hands back and forth.
the little boy stopped suddenly along the camps pathway, looking up at riki with a big grin, “hyung! watch this!”
like most young hermes kids, mingyu was eager to show off his oustanding stealth and speed, zooming in circles at a breakneck speed. he was almost a blur to riki, moving so fast to the point that the older male’s eyes could barely keep up with his figure.
he chuckles, “woah, you’re even faster than hyung!” feeling playful, riki decides to put his own powers to use; manipulating a couple earthy platforms into the air, replicating a mini parkour park for the boy. “bet you cant get up there,” he taunts.
perhaps he shouldn’t have done that.
feeling challenged, mingyu rushes up to the rocks, pouncing higher with each one, the little boy cheers, laughing proudly with each jump. “more, hyung! make more!”
the hades boy gulps, hands moving in panic as he tries to keep up with the child who’s now jumping to each platform right as they’ve been formed. riki didn’t use his geokinesis often; evident in how slow it took him to develop each new rock. “h-hey kid, slow down! i can’t—“
it was too late; mingyu’s already jumped into the open air, expecting riki to place a rock beneath him, only to find nothing as he falls all the way down to the ground. immediately, the little boy bursts into tears, staring down at his legs that were painfully scratched up and bleeding.
“shit,” riki curses, rushing over to kneel before the younger. “hey, it’s alright gyu, i’ll take you to the medical cabin right now, okay?”
the walk to the meds was one full of terrible, heart wrenching guilt; riki having to carry the poor boy bridal style with tears and blood still running down his skin. right as he was about to open the cabin door, you had already pulled it open.
riki’s heart nearly began thumping out of his chest. he’d interacted with you a couple times here and there, always noticing little, endearing details about you, like the way you sometimes hit the person next to you from you laughing too hard, or how your tongue would poke out of your cheek whenever you were frustrated. he found you charming, it was unfortunate he’d be meeting you again in such a way. “y/n—“
“riki!” you scold, quickly taking mingyu from his hold, “what the hell did you do?!”
he gulps, quickly following you as you set the hermes boy down on the closest bed. you were rushing around the room in a hurry, picking a few wipes to clean the child’s wounds. “i- we were playing around, and then he fell! it was an accident though, i promise!”
riki was only feeling more guilty about the fact that he’d nearly forgot about mingyu’s injuries; much too busy admiring you despite the glare you send his way while you wipe up the boy’s blood.
“i’ll deal with you later,” you sigh, throwing the wipe into the trash. like a switch, your expression morphs into one of gentleness as you smile down at mingyu comfortingly. “okay baby, this is going to feel a bit strange, but just focus on me, okay?”
he sniffles, closing his own eyes nervously. “mkay, noona.”
“so mingyu, what’s your favourite animal?”
“umm.. i like tigers..” while he’s distracted you take a deep breath, muttering something as you place your hands over his scrapes. “but.. but i also like lions..” riki just watches in amazement, lips parted as the injuries begin to miraculously close up. mingyu is too busy talking about lions, hands fidgeting with each other anxiously.
suddenly, you open your eyes with a big smile, “look at that, you’re all better!”
riki isn’t fully aware of what happens after that, all he knows is that he is absolutely, undoubtedly in love with you. he faintly sees mingyu spring up from the bed happily, giving you a big, grateful kiss on the cheek.
his dad wouldn’t mind him going for an apollo kid, right?
i’m sorry if things are unnacurate, again i dont know much about percy jackson <\3 this was super fun anyway sjnddjn i hope i did ur idea justice anonnieee >:)

Your art style is so versatile, and I can really tell you have good fundamentals with anatomy and perspective. Do you always use references when drawing, or only for some styles (e.g. only referencing when drawing realistically but not for drawing simplified characters)?
hey thanks a lot i appreaciate it
i cant honestly say if i reference more than i dont? i have a brain bug where i cannot see images in my head and my brain doesnt comprehend 3d spaces when i imagine them, but most of the things i draw are usually drawn without reference at all unless i cannot whip out what i assume something looks like or would
most usually if i do end up referencing it isnt anatomy or perspective, it tends to be specific character design if im drawing fanart or a specific art style if i am trying to replicate it. recently in attempts to get re-used to my settings on csp after another data wipe i tried to replicate tetsuya nomura's twewy art, so i pulled up multiple references of his work for the game
Tumblr media
im not that good at explaining i dont think so i pulled out a pic that kind of shows better what i mean i think. but this is what i do more than anything else when it comes to referencing
other than i do not seek out em out unless necessary but i definitely think theyre useful and a very important part of the art learning progress

I hate Spiteful Artists (RANT)
The following is a slightly retooled repost of a post I made to the Tapas Forums over a year ago, and I wanted to share it here because I feel its an important message to get across.
As artists, we all have shitty days. Sometimes we have moments where he hate our artwork and might compare ourselves to others. This is natural and there's nothing wrong with that. As long as you're able to calm yourself down and don't let your negative emotions control you and your way of thinking, you'll be okay.
However, I draw the line at people who constantly bitch and moan about it, ignore any advice and lash out those they're jealous of.
I had a friend back in 2019 to mid 2021 (for the sake of simplicity, I’ll refer to him by the name ‘Jay’. Its not his real name but as he includes his name in is social media branding, I dont want people sending hate his way since I dont want anything to do with him. I would say I also wouldnt want him finding this rant which I was admittedly afraid of but at this point, I don't really care) who felt insecure about his art and would show signs of jealousy towards those he thought were better than him. And often times, the targets of Jay’s jealousy would be his friends. The first few times it happened, I refuted his negative thinking and tried to encourage him. He would calm down and be like "you're right", only for it to happen again. Eventually, this habit of getting jealous of his friends and lashing out at them would be turned over to me. Jay wanted to draw in the Disney style and didn't like his current style and thought it was, in his words, "shit". So when someone like me, who's style was closer to replicating Disney's, who was an earshot away.... you can guess where I'm going with this.
I cant count the many times he would lash out at me, or delete art I'd post in a server we were in because he felt insecure, or give me the cold shoulder out of nowhere when I wanted to share a drawing. I'm not going to sit here and say that there was nothing wrong with our friendship prior and that both of us weren't guilty (In hindsight, I realize there was a lot wrong with Jay that I, for the most part, looked over because we were friends, and which went beyond jealousy but I wont go into those details), but I can safely say that this aspect of his and the moment he turned his aggression onto me was beginning of the end of our friendship. I slowly became fed up with Jay’s behavior but I held out hoping it could get better, because I was the type of bastard who thought deep down everyone had some good in them (Note: I still do despite this situation. I just know now that sometimes, people just refuse to change). It never did, and we stopped being friends come May. In all honesty, I'm surprised I lasted that long but I should've left earlier when I had the chance.
Like I said, there were moments where he stopped this bullshit by calming down, drawing ocs and then he was back to liking his art again. But that wouldn't last for long and he'd usually be back to hating his art and lashing out people again in a few weeks or so. Sometimes days. Again, I'm not saying that jealousy isn't normal and if you get jealous your a bad person. It's a natural thing to experience it and heck I've been had bits of jealousy countless times. But you can't let it control you, that's the thing. You shouldn't let it control your way of thinking and led cloud your judgement. And you can absolutely the fuck not lash out at people because your mind told you they did you wrong for being better than your or some shit, especially to your friends! Yes, there will be times where you slip up but its on you to not let that shit happen again. That's what it means to say sorry. It's "not a get out of jail" free card! You have to actually mean it! You shouldn't expect your friends to deal with your toxic behavior, because you're eventually going to push them away. People have breaking points and no one's going to help you if you're unwilling to help yourself.
Also if you dont feel your artwork is good enough, spewing your toxic bullshit at people isnt going to help. If you want to be good at anything, you have to put in the effort and work hard at it! You wont get good by being a whiny little shit. I wasn't going to get anywhere that attitude when I was 14. I wanted to a be a good artist but I wasn't good drawing. So I spent the past 5 plus years practicing and drawing everyday and it's payed off. Sure, I'm not perfect and there are people out there who are better artists than me. But I cant let that fact detour me and neither should you. You need to have a positive mindset of wanting improve, wanting to get better at something, wanting to become stronger than you are now. No one's telling you can't do it. The only one that's telling you that you're not good and that you'll never improve is you.
And, this may sounds cold, but if you don't see any improvement despite drawing everyday and get angry about, you should just quit. If drawing art makes you so mad that you lash out at others and tell them to "fuck off" (something he actually said to me during one his episodes) when they genuinely want to help you out, why are you still drawing? Try another hobby that you're passionate about. If you're going to have this attitude about drawing, maybe you shouldn't have started drawing in the first place.
And you know what's the funny thing about all of this? Jay wasn't a bad artist. His art was a okay, not terrible nor great, but there was room for improvement. As long as he studied anatomy, perspective, flow, composition, etc, he'll be a damn good artist. He most likely wont able to draw in the Disney style but that's something he has to deal with. However, I don't think that will happen if he doesn't stop the cycle of inferiority, jealousy, and feeling better by drawing ocs, he's not going anywhere. I told him something akin to this but I don't think he listened, so I dont think he will change his ways (I could be, and I hope, Im wrong). If he doesn't get his behavior under control, its going to catch up with him in a really bad way. At some point, Jay's going to hit a brick wall and push away all of the remaining people who got fed up with his bullshit. And by that point, drawing his ocs wont save him this time.
The inspiration of this rant came from a situation that happened shortly before the tapas forum post in September 2021. I encountered someone similar to Jay on a discord server who basically had a meltdown about how much his art sucked and lashed out anyone who tried to help. They ended up getting banned for toxic behavior and rightfully so.
I feel like I sorta went off the deep end with this discussion but I think you should take this lesson from it. If you're feeling self conscious about your artwork, don't let your insecurities take hold of you and lash out at your piers. I believe that everyone has the protentional to do be great, not just in art, but in general. But are you going to strive to be better or are you going to wallow in negativity and let that hatred turn you into a monster?

this is probably gonna be a long message bc i have a lot to catch up on but 😭 I ALSO CAUGHT UP ON OTC ITS SOO GOOD they need to fall in love and get married now!!!! is it bad that as soon as i saw a picture of jiung with a volleyball i thought of otc..
ALSO WE GOT PIWONS FIRST WIN!!! im so proud pf them i may or may not have cried im so so so happy for them when intak cried i broke down instantly omgggg
and one more thing but how did u actually start posting?? 😭 like i have so many ideas but my writing is dookie and im so scared to post it and idk how to do layouts nd all but UGHH IM RAMBLING
N EE WAYS i hope ur having an amazing day and stay safe and dont get sick and make sure to eat well and LOVE U ❣️❣️
-🦦
ITS BEEN SO LONG ITS LIKE IM TALKING TO UR SPIRIT LOLLL 😭
y/n and theo will BE TOGETHER SOON‼️🙌 TRUUSTTT but what’s a fanfic without a little miscommunication 🤭 i have big plans muhahaha but omg wait i think ab my fics?🤭🤭 ur making me blush helpppp
STOPPP BC WHEN THEY WON MY MOUTH WAS ON THE FLOOORRR LIKE THE GASP I LET OUT WAS INSANE!!!! I CANT BELEIVE WE GOT A FIRST WIN FOR THEM IM SO PROUDDD. For me it was when i went on twitter after and saw all of us rejoicing that i finally sobbed my eyes out😭 i was literally bawling, 4 years in the making and i’m so glad we got to give them this for all of their hard work but let’s keep winning for the other comebacks!! this is ONLLLY the beginning
TO BE HONEST WITH YOU…I WAS SO SCARED TO HIT THE POST BUTTON ON MY FIRST WRITING ON THIS APP😭 I did not have any confidence in my writing at all bc i came from wattpad (which is literally the badlands for literature💀) and if ur writing or your plot is bad then you won’t get any views like fr…
so when i published my first theo ff i literally just basically said “fuck it we ball” counted down from 3 and hit the post button with my eyes closed 😭 so safe to say that method checks out to be amazing 👍💀
FOR THE LAYOUTS THOOO i took inspiration from the other writers in my community’s and tried to replicate that! for me my long fics have a poster form (sort of like how otc has one big poster) and my shorter fics have a 3-picture style, where i put 3 pictures with the same color scheme in one row of text (kinda like how star-shaped keys have two pics that fit the aesthetic of the fic and one kyo pic that fits the color scheme of the other two pics!) from there you’d wanna put the basics which are the title, the genre, the warnings, so if ur fic has profanity or smut or anything like that and do notttt forget the description of the fic bc who would want to read a fic blindly??🤨 and any extra things you’d want to share!
for me i share a couple of songs from my playlist to help set the mood or list any songs that match the vibe of the story :P
OKAY WAIT NOW IM RAMBLING 😭 I HOPED I HELPED U OUTTT

I have a lovely friend of whom i have so many complaints n i feel so bad talking abt her to our other friends, but i need to get this out of my system. sorry :(
Shes an absolute sweetheart but she has a tendency to copy everything that i do. She tries to copy my style of cursive handwriting, my humor, the things i’m into, even down to my signature style n my style of writing. Like sweetheart, i love you, but id appreciate it if you weren’t trying to be me. Like fr she tries so hard to copy me, especially my specific personal twist on poetry. You can tell that her creative writing style is a very strained copy of mine. Like yk how everyone has a way w words unique to them? She just cant write w out trying to replicate my unique flair. Also I introduce her to a lot of stuff i like and literally an hour later, shes a superfan of the things i like? tf? we also used to have a crush on one guy, and we spent one recess talking about him while watching him shoot hoops. Later on, i picked her up (like i normally do), and she deadass asked if she could pretend that i was our mutual crush, and i immediately put her back on the ground bc it was gross asf. back to her trying to be me, if i try something new and *only* if i like it, she will start doing it too. She also has a tendency to not tell people what she wants, but when people don’t do things her way, she gets upset. She’s a sore loser too. We’re not close anymore since after the end of last year, we ended up going to different schools n now we don’t talk alot.
im sorry i post so much, i just have a lot to say sometimes. Also i know im mostly talking shit abt ppl, but i swear i will add nice things abt my life sometimes 😭😭
thx for reading pooks <3

RAAAWR HUG! HUG! qiapyon loves being hugged :3 and squished (is a slime so squish!) hehe you are so nice and soft :>> not at all intimidating
YOU FELT LIKE A BIG BLOG just so very top tier writing. great graphic. whole package deal. there's only two possibilities that happen to follower count when you go ia:
it goes up, because people are finding you
it goes down, because people are not finding you and your followers think you are dead
THE RETURN OF NYA im so excited rawrrrrr tag me in everything
afadsfhsd me big blog... i guess i'm a big blog. i dont know why 1.1k people are still here for my shitposts
ajdslfsdf its only a few,,, a lot of my blogs are ia..... unfortunately.... and i mostly have focused on nazukisser though i literally cant stop writing for enstars its in my soul... i always strive for weekly for every fandom but darn thats really hard with the amount of shit i have going on
WAAAAAAAA i hope YOUR works get the true recognition it deserves (one day you'll write a leo fic that will become known as that leo fic (in a pos sense))
professional.... ate lis told me that i looked professional on my blogs,,, i just try. lots of trial and error and i always try to look fresh. have gone through so many phases its insane. one time i tried replicating an actual site design on tumblr while combining it w my style and it was so hard. stares at my (long gone) tori fs2 theme
RIGHT like the readers were nice, all of the people were so nice... now its too big like who is everyone... but also its kinda dead too like damn... 2023 is not anybody's year... i wish we could return to all being silly....
help me omg big blog. i mean being a writing blog the writing might as well get a pass but the graphics suck and i'm the first one to acknowledge that. i simply don't know what to do with them >< the one and only graphic i'm still head over heels for and is the reason i still haven't remade my theme is the cute cat soren did for me a looong time ago and is my current banner. it's. so. round. so cute. silly but sosososo adorable
i mean my followers have probably accepted i'm a sporadic writer and i don't really have a schedule. it hurts when you try to put out your stuff but it doesn't get attention but aaa this is the internet. there's no point in overthinking that. my one and only concern is that anons that rq something i answer a few months later manage to read their rq :(
JESUS CHRIST QIAN YOU HAVE 1.1K FOLLOWERS?!?!? big big biggest writer indeed. i just checked mine and it's 744 followers which is an insane number for someone who posts so little!! what you said about the leo fic... i can only hope. i personally think i suck at writing leo a lot. and rei. and natsume. my izumi is pretty much a mess too. see? if i love them i can't write them right. but uuuu i'd love to write a series. i've never tried that. i also considered something like a social media au bc that's usually really cute too. i don't think any of my works will ever reach that level of importance buuuuut. i'd love that
i've been working a bit on some sort of new theme for my super due revamp but i hate editing sooo much. whatever you say your themes always look super nice and cohesive <3 they're really nice to look at ;;
the fandom being big and dead (from a writing pov) is just as you said ;; i occasionally go into the tags to look for cute fanart but i don't see any writing and it's very sad. sorry to whoever might be offended by this but x readers actually carried the fandom before engstars. but we all either grew frustrated with the lack of interaction or found new interests
i simply miss that sense of community TT the nuri era... nuri feeding the entire fandom one post a day. bee coming up with the absolute prettiest things (like hello THEIR PROMPTS. i still haven't recovered from those). swanee dropping these insanely talented bombs and leaving us knocking on their askbox like "pls comeback when". soren's blog (which i actually visit from time to time bc there's a handful of fics that carry half of my mental sanity rn). runa ;;;;
see? i miss a lot of people ꒰⁎′̥̥̥ ⌑ ‵̥̥̥ ꒱ on those are only the ones that came first into mind because there are even more moots i miss... that comfy feeling of being able to jump into everyone's askbox and be silly... nostalgia hitting hard ;;; makes me think i should try to join a server(s) to try and interact with people again, even if it's just some talking from time to time

Alien x Reader
Warning: None
Word Count: 1947
*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\
Okay so this is just an experiment in a way. So just remember to LIKE, COMMENT and REBLOG. I'll appreciate it.
*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\
The creature floated in front of you in a giant alien containment. The container was 12 feet wide and 10 feet tall. The liquid that filled it was enriched with a substance that would allow the creature to continue to thrive even while being out of it's native world.
"How is experiment 337?" A deep voice buzzed in your ear. You jumped at the intrusive noise that disturbed the silence in the room. You sometimes forget that this is actually a job.
"Still unconscious, sir," you reported walking around the containment to look at it's sleeping form.
The creature had grayish blue skin that turned black once it reached it's appendages. It was bipedal with the legs thick and muscular. They had a set of arms that extended from it's shoulder, similars to a human. A second and third set of arms came from their spine and wrapped forward. A thick tail came from it's back and had a length of 3 feet and 2 inches.
"The vitals?" The voice demanded. You held in a sigh and walked over to the computer showing all the vitals. The things on the screen was a lot more complicated than that of a human.
"Fine, I believe. Though, the second heart has slowed down a lot in the last hour. Maybe get one of the doctors to come up here to check them out," you stated sliding through the chart the computer made on the creature's health. You guys didn't know how their normal health looked, so you just take the health they come in as normal and report any change in it.
"Damn thing might be trying to die on us. Well, it's not like it's giving us much information while it's unconscious, so might be a good thing." He ended it with a bark of laughter. You didn't join him as you rolled your eyes at him. He truly didn't have any patience. Some of the creatures that get sent here are here for months before they even begin to show some signs of responsiveness.
"Okay, sir. Please send that doctor in here," you quickly said before tapping your ear piece. You just had to get the boss that's the worse. He does not care for these creatures at all.
"You requested me," a montone voice asked. You turned around to see your vector's doctor walking in. They had a heavy set of bags under their eyes that showed how busy they were.
"Yeah, experiment 337's second heart rate seem to have slowed down," you explain pulling up the chart to show them. They leaned over your shoulder to look at them.
"I'll check on them. You can start your lunch break if you would like," they said looking over at you with a raised eyebrow. You pulled your lab coat back to look at your watch. Your break was supposed to start 20 minutes ago.
"Thanks. You can write anything you find in the notes under Experiment 337. I will see them there if you leave before I'm back," you rambled running around to grab your stuff. It's protocol to leave none of your things behind since you don't know what these creatures can do.
You took off your lab jacket and threw it in the waste bin. Glancing at the doctor, you could already see they were working on the creature. Hopefully nothing is wrong with them.
An hour later, you scan your ID at the door. It open slowly allowing you to see the empty room. Well except for the container with all the machinery hooked up to it. The doctor seem to be gone.
You threw your stuff on the free table and walked over to the metal closet. Inside of here were fresh and sterlized lab coats. There was also some gloves, but that was used if you could touch your experiment. And since yours were unconscious at the moment, it meant that you wouldn't be making any contact for a while.
"Examiner!" Someone yelled causing you to jump. You spun around towards the sound to see the doctor in the container. Their eyes were widen in panic as they struggled in the liquid.
"What? How?!" You stumbled while running to the container. You went to the computer to pull up the container's system. You have ot get them out.
"The creature. He woke up in the middle of me checking on him and he got out. I tried to push the panic alarm, but he sealed me in here. Hurry, get me out!" Their voice yelled out in fear. You stopped typing and turned slowly to the doctor.
"I noticed you said 'he' a lot. We usually say an alien is a they," you said lifting an eyebrow at the 'doctor'. They stopped thrashing and just floated. Since they weren't moving, you could see all the things hooked into them. No alien trying to escape would take the time to stick all those things into a person.
"Hmm, I thought I would identify closest to a male on this planet." The doctor's voice dropped two octaves causing your eyes to widen.
"You can shape shift," you screamed happily running to the glass. He looked exactly like the doctor. He even copied the mole hidden under their hair.
"What about it? You can't," he teased you raising a single eyebrow. It felt weird seeing the doctor, but having the actions and voice be so different.
"Can you please change? I have plenty of questions I want to ask you," you said going back to the computer. You closed the coding for the containment and pulled up the notes on this creature.
"Is this better, babe?" Your fingers froze as you turned your head slowly to the right. The creature was pressed against the glass closest to you. But instead of seeing an alien, you saw yourself.
"What's wrong, cat got your tongue?" The creature teased in your voice. A giant smirk slipped onto your face that looked so unnatural on you. "Well, I guess it's more like I have your tongue."
Laughter came out of your mouth as the creature started floating around. This felt weird. Seeing yourself do all these things while you are standing here really felt like whipflash.
"Wonder what's under here," he sung out before grabbing the front of the shirt. He pulled it away and started peaking around.
"Hey, stop that," you yelled banging on the glass. Deep laughter came from his, well yours, lips as he swam back over to the edge of the glass.
"Don't worry darling." He pulled the shirt down to reveal that underneath was his greyish blue skin. It faded from your skin into his as it passed the collar. "I can't turn into something I don't know."
You quickly turned to the computer and started typing in shapeshifter into his records. Putting a subsection underneath, you added that he can't shift into something he doesn't know or can't see.
"Is there anything else you cant do?" You asked looking over at him. Alien-you leaned back in the liquid and tapped his chin.
"I guess stop being so good looking," he grumbled out. You bit your lip as you thought of a perfect joke. It would be unprofessional to joke around with him, but you have heard other examiner say that they joke and play around with theirs.
"You do look like me, so I will have to agree with you on that statement." His mouth dropped open as soft stutters of laughter escaped. He closed it and rolled his tongue along his teeth.
Slowly, your skin started to turn into that grayish blue until your entire body started to contort. Your clothes turned to ashes before disappearing in the liquid. Jutting his head back, the skull seem to be shifting underneath as it became sharper and fuller.
"I think this looks a little a better," he purred pressing a clawed hand on the glass. He was back to his original form except this time clothed.
A skin tight black material covered from his knees to the peak of his neck, but it didn't cover any of his arms. It kind of reminded you of an old style swim suit in a way, very basic but covered all necessary things.
"So, you can produce clothing on yourself?" You asked thinking of how he perfectly replicated the clothes you were wearing. You leaned over to the computer and typed that in.
"Well, would you like for me to be butt naked in this container?" You stopped typing as you thought it over. It would help with getting data over everything and that increases chance for experiments. "I'm not liking that silence. You pervert."
Embarrassment encased your body as you shook your head trying to rid yourself of the accusation. "No, I was looking at it from a scientific standpoint. I promise."
He swam up and peaked over the top of the glass, so he was starring down at you. His black eyes glimmered with amusement as he threw a swift wink at you. "You can call it whatever you want, baby."
Your jaw dropped in shock at what you assumed was his flirtatious comment. What type of alien were you assigned to examine?
"I-" luckily you were cut off by a voice in your ear interrupting you. You had to stop yourself from letting out a groan as that annoying voice spoke.
"Don't forget we have a required seminar in 39 minutes. Go ahead and put your alien into hibernation and report all vitals before leaving." You rolled your eyes as you remember those dumb seminars. You really didn't want to go.
"Did I blow your mind, buttercup? Guess you imagine what is under my this suit." You zoned back into your environment as you looked back at the alien. Half of his upper body was tilting out of the container at you. His second and third set of arms slowly kept him afloat.
"Sadly, no. I have to put you to sleep now," you commented walking over to the computer. You quickly wrote in the notes that he seems to be made for swimming.
"But if I'm asleep, I can't see that beautiful face of yours," he whined out splashing his tail behind him. Luckily, none of it feel over.
"Don't worry, you can see me in your dreams," you joked typing in the code to send in the sleeping medicine. Blue liquid flowed from the machine and towards the IV stuck into him.
"You didn't even give me your name or give me a name." You tilted your head in confusion at the last statement. Why would you give him a name?
His eyes looked down at the blue liquid as it started going into him. He let out a shaky breath and dropped down into the container. His body slowly sank to the bottom where he leaned against the corner of the container.
You walked towards the glass and gently placed your hand on it. He was blinking slowly at you as he tried to fight the medicine. But you knew in ten seconds, he would be out.
"How about I call you Shark?" You joked looking at his grey skin. Bubbles floated out of his mouth from his laughter. His head plopped against the wall as his eyes shut.
"It's a good thing you cute or I would be offended by that." Silence followed as his breathing even out. The rest of his body sunk down into the floor.
Work was about to get a lot more exciting with him around. Maybe you could actually start looking forward to this.
*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\
So this is going to be an ongoing stories. I want to try to use some stories prompt or word prompts for this as practice for my writing. Also, I want to try to write a flirty character instead of a soft blushy one like usual. So this entire thing is a giant experiment for me. So leave a comment and let me know what you think.💜💜💜💜💜

Review Response, Dec 22 - 28, 2019
“28″, but I’ll be including the reviews that came in this morning. Because hey.
And... there are a lot. The most this year.
Legacy Prologue - Kalos
1) That first part DEFINITELY reminded me of the XY chapter, except Y is being the Hikikomori (shut-in) and X is trying to drag her out... It’s a good role-reversal!
I also wanted it to be like the time in XY where Y found out what happened to her mother and she got super depressed. Except this time, X tries to do something about it. Finally.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Legacy #008
1) LOVED IT!
Thank you!
2) Poor moon. I loved this chapter
Hey, it’s you! <3 Thank you kindly.
3) WoW cool chapter. So blue confessionele next chapter hopefully? Lol have been waiting on that for the entire story so Lets hope its the case
Haven’t we all. ... Except for those that don’t like this pairing...
4) It’s nice to see platinum trying to help blue move things was a good chapter with nice interactions with the juniors and seniors all under the same roof
It’s like a big Dex Holder family! ... But not too big, since there are far too many of them nowadays! And despite Platinum not really wanting to get involved, she helps out anyways, as “foretold” by the Headcanon Chronology!
5) While Moon really should rest, the idea of her getting that Spirit of Vengeance team you posted about on your Tumblr sounds way too awesome. ...Also Umbreon bias since it's my first (and only) shiny, but yeah.
Poor Blue - it really is probably only going to hurt her the longer she keeps it in. Wonder how that is going to play out, since I guess Platinum's now put things in motion. I think the first scene in this chapter is the one I enjoyed the most.
Damn, for Moon's Pokemon to die like that...that's gotta be traumatizing. I have to admire that determination though, even though she's shaping up to be a revenge-obsessed character from what I see.
Awesome chapter as always and can't wait for the next one!
Hehe. Spirit of Vengeance. The amount of curse in that team would be quite terrifying. Hehehe... ... Only shiny, you say? Aww...
Platinum has gotten the ball rolling despite not really wanting to. MVP of the confession? Hehe... Sisterly bonds, indeed. Now, will it work out in favor for Blue??
Moon can’t be filled with a lust for vengeance if none of her friends and Pokemon have perished. And so now she rises from her agony with ice cold determination for blood to be spilled for the blood that had been shed. ... Or does that saying go the other way around? Heh. Regardless. She’s pissed, has a bow, lethal poison, and soon to be a team packed with ghosts (and Dark types).
Thank you as always! And you won’t have to wait long~!
6) Eh lucky really isnt my cup of tea but the way you write stories is pretty awesome keep up the good work!
I could tell by the anon ID you picked. To each their own. And thank you!
7) Awww blue being so shy hahahaha. Its like the roles have reversed since the first time they met thats so cute! Anyway Great story as usual
Hehe. Timid Blue~! It’s new and very cute, isn’t it? And thank you.
8) Hey man Great story looking forward to the next chapter
Thank you. It’s coming very soon.
9) Wow this is A really underrated story I really like how you keep most characters so in character!
Still underrated... in comparison to my previous stuff. But that’s to be expected, I guess. And thank you.
10) Well Colour me surprised ! A Pokemon story thats not forcing crack pairings! Anyway Where is green in this story?
Heh. Crack pairings... Only once in a solar eclipse. And... who? Heh. He’s in Kalos and thus off screen.
11) Wtf did moons Pokemon just die? Great story but damn thats fucking dark
Yes they perished in the fire. “Die, insect” and all. ... And one of them was an insect! Heh. Ahem. ... Dark? That’s not dark. Have you seen the stuff I did in SA and Destiny? Heh...
12) I mean I kinda like the story but isnt specialshipping canon? Also this is really really dark
No, it’s not canon. What is canon is that Yellow has a crush on Red. What’s also canon is that Red is uncomfortable with the idea. And of course he is. He thought she was a guy the whole time and then suddenly found out all at once that she was a girl and had a crush on him. His response is not going to be positive. And again, this is not dark. ... Though I guess that depends on your sensitivity.
13) hey sorry for not leaving A review for so long but I still really like the story lol!
Hey, you’re back. ... Then... who’s the anon with the v2 of your ID?
14) I love your writing style!
Thank you!
15) I somehow found Pearl smacking Black across the face to wake him up funnier than it should’ve been. Haha
I wonder if Blue really will confess to Red today. If so, I wonder how the opportunity would present itself.
Its quite sad that Hau, Lillie, and two of Moon’s Pokemon died. I guess this is where Moon’s overhaul comes in. I cant wait to see Moon’s viciousness unleashed when she inevitably meets the guys responsible for all that.
I look forward to more!
Hehe. Black always getting smacked around in my stories, literally and figuratively.
Will Blue truly confess on that day (which is a day before the stuff in Alola happens), or will she fail again due to anxiety? And will it end well for her??
Moon’s overhaul is happening now, yes. For that, she’ll have to go to Galar too. And I don’t know sh*t about that region, so... that’ll be difficult. Hehe. And much later in the story when she meets her foe... oho, Rage Unleashed Moon!
16) Moon and Lillie sure get burned really bad. Also, what about the kid with the malasadas? Hopefully, Blue will confessed to Red soon...
The local boy with the malasada had the same fate as Lillie. Two stretchers with a body on top, with the white blankets pulled all the way up.
17) I figured that now would be the best time to give a review for one of your works. therefore, I should review my personal favourite.
I been a consistent and long-time reader for numerous years now without ever leaving a review. I simply didn't have an account until recently just so I can give my thoughts on some of the series that you make.
Regarding Legacy as a whole, it truely showcases your ability to take the wide variety of dexholders and thiee different personalities and place them in situations that would absolutely never occur in the actual story. I have always loved the way you portray each individual character, improving thier teama and strategies and having genuine character growth. Although Sun and Moon are my uncontested favourite characters so far, I adore the way you use Platinum B in your stories, giving her a genuine personality and character traits.
You also generate a wide range of different and creative settings for each of the characters to go through. Legacy is the perfect example of this in terms of one truely coherent story setting. by using the opportunity of the highest stakes that these dexholders may ever face, you use the opportunity to explore all of the aspects of each character amazingly and how they would face this danger.
Since Sun and Moon are my favourite characters, the wait for this chapter absolutely killed me. Although it sucks that due to the lack of reviews for these characters I will get few opportunties to read your way of presenting the characters What I am trying to say is that the way you write your characters makes them feel REAL. I genuinely believe that these are the actual characters as they personalties are replicated and refined to perfection The way both Sun and Moon react in this chapter is exactly the way I would have expected them to. Being a Deliveryshipping day 1, seeing even the slightest interactions in any media, especially in your stories always brings joy to me. I have regulary reread most of your works such as Special Chronicals and Distinct Events becuase each story is chapter is amazing in its own right.
Your amazing work has inspired me to possibly start my own project one day. I am sorry for the stress that you have gone through this year and the issues with the Discord. It will get better this year. Seeing as you use reviews to indicate the popularity of a particular series, I had to write this review so that this series can get the update it deserves so that we can all see how this fantastic story ends. Thank your for all of the amazing work you have done.
Whoa, hello. Haven’t gotten a review this long since a certain someone stopped with Destiny reviews back in July.
Accounts aren’t necessary for the reviews. Guest reviews exist! And if you use the same anon ID, I’d know it’s you. But thank you for going through the effort! It’s much appreciated!
Aww, thank you very much! <3 And while I don’t know about Sun, but Moon is going to be in the spotlight quite a lot, so enjoy it! Since Platinum is my uncontested favorite, she gets plenty of development in my stories, with new character bonds, teams, battling style, etc. And unlike in DPPt, she actually gets to do things against the enemy.
Of the three major stories I’ve written (SA, Destiny, Legacy), Legacy has the lowest stakes. But I think it’s also the most personal, which I guess means it’s much more important for individual Dex Holders. Well, we’ll see as time passes. And yes, these are kind of things that would never happen in the actual arcs, so the Dex Holders get to be stress-tested. How would they react given their personalities, tics, relationships, etc, in a realistic situation?
Oh. ... Ahem. Sorry for making you wait 7 months. Ehehe... And while it’s true that Sun and Moon currently have the lowest “viewership”, that changes as time passes. Like Black and White in SA and X and Y in Destiny. As the “meh” torch is passed down to Sword and Shield, Sun and Moon might rise in popularity, thus increasing the chances of them appearing in my stories.
I don’t really know if this was how Sun would react though. But I also don’t know how he would’ve actually reacted, so this might not be outside the possibility range. I kind of had him act like Black, really, but without being as sweet... or loud. Well, there will be more Sun & Moon interactions for you to enjoy in the upcoming chapters, so... there you go!
You should start your own project! Go for it! And eh, Discord. Sh*t happens. I wouldn’t call that stress. Anyways. Yes, I use the review count as an indicator of how many people have finished the chapter. Of course, there are plenty of people who read the chapter to the end without reviewing, and the number of people who review after reading tends to fluctuate. But if there is a trend, that indicates a trend in viewership as well. And that is what I look at. Hence the charts. And yes. We’d all like to see how the story ends. Me included. Keep up with the reviews and we’ll all see it by 2021.
And thank you so much for the review and the... sweet talking. Hehe <3
18) Just found this story and am enjoying it thoroughly. Big fan of your Blue characterization as well, I used to enjoy shipping Red with Yellow, but recently, I've come to enjoy Blue with Red.
A small nitpick - Did none of the juniors comment on Red and Blue sleeping in the same room/bed while they stayed in Red's house in the last two chapters? I would assume the female juniors already know Blue likes Red and so won't say anything unnecessary, but I guess the guys are a little more tactful than we give them credit for?
Looking forward to me. Cheers.
Red with Blue works very well. And it’s cute! Hehe... ... biased.
Heh. The girls... already know, since the girls who are in the house were Platinum, White, and Y, and they already know of Blue’s crush and all that. So White and Y would just snicker at the fact that Red and Blue are sleeping on the same bed, while Platinum would just smile. As for the boys... Diamond might notice something if he spent more time talking to Red and Blue before and after. But I doubt Pearl or Black would notice anything odd. They’d probably just assume that Red and Blue are sharing the bed because a ton of guests were sleeping in the living room, so there were no other options.
Of course, all that’s assuming that the juniors know that Red and Blue are sleeping on the same bed. I don’t recall having Red and Blue give them a tour of the house, so as far as the juniors know, there might be another bed upstairs. ... Though a house tour is generally the first thing you do, but... heh. Ambiguity. No one knows for sure.
And I look forward to seeing more reviews from you!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tumblr media
Well well. Would you look at THAT. Way above the average now. So... looks like I’ll have to keep my word and update Legacy again before this year ends in 3 days. Heh. Of course, I did notice a few things but... well... whatever.
18. That’s the most reviews I’ve gotten in a chapter in all of 2019. Or 2018. ... And vast majority of 2017 (Legacy Prologue - Kanto was in January 2017). If this kind of thing happened much more frequently, I would be updating Legacy like once every two weeks, instead of 3~4 times in a year.
But, there you have it! New record in almost 3 years. As a result... Legacy update in 3 days.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DE #031
1) Sun and moon are so cute. I love them
Support the new...ish pairing!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tumblr media
And with that, DE #031 is no longer in the top 4 least reviewed. Yay!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SC #017
1) Awesome story.
Thank you.
2) Well that was...brutal alright. Thugs deserved it though. I'm mildly surprised no one died, but I think that's more because I'm used to seeing that from your old "doom hammer" chapters.
I admit the Santa part was an amusing touch, and I guess that explains why you needed to release this by the end of the year. Heh, Blue's gadgets are useful as always and very effective - that's a nice disguise. That action scene was awesome and easily the best scene in this chapter. The situation aside...it was nice to see Red be a hero even without his Pokemon.
You were right - this is an enjoyable chapter and I like this "brutal Red" experiment. Can't wait for the next chapter!
Heh. The doom hammer is for serious stories. Not comical ones. So no one dies in the hands of Santa Claus. This time.
Tumblr media
Ahem. Well, there’s the inspiration for the chapter, and the reason behind the line of “Or Santa will go jolly on your naughty asses with a candy cane axe”. Hehe. Cheers, everyone, Santa has come to town!
And the duo of Red and Blue becomes much stronger. Mercenary Red with technological support!
Hehe. Much more serious brutal Red (instead of comical) to come up later as the experimentation continues. Ohoho!
3) holy crud, santa beating up a gang is greatest thing ever
Yep. Santa going to town on their naughty asses with a candy cane bat. What’s not to love?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tumblr media
And with that, the latest SC chapter is now in the top 4 least reviewed. For now?
... Looks like the “A Day at Work” chapters are failing miserably, since they’re at 1 and 3 reviews respectively. So... I guess I won’t be doing that again.
And with this, the longest review response post of 2019 has come to an end.

Bitcoin: How Cryptocurrencies Work
New Post has been published on https://hititem.kr/bitcoin-how-cryptocurrencies-work/
Bitcoin: How Cryptocurrencies Work
Say theres a coin thats currently worth countless numbers of U.S. Dollars, but its no longer fabricated from gold, or platinum, or any worthwhile metallic. In fact, its now not the style of coin which you can maintain on your hand or stick in a piggy bank. Its a digital foreign money, which means that it most effective exists electronically. Im talking about bitcoin. Bitcoin doesnt work like most money. It isnt attached to a state or government, so it doesnt have a primary issuing authority or regulatory body.Sincerely, that implies theres no group determining when to make more bitcoins, determining how many to produce, retaining monitor of the place they’re, or investigating fraud. So how does bitcoin work as a forex, or have any worth at all? Well, bitcoin wouldnt exist and not using a whole community of men and women and somewhat thing called cryptography. In fact, its regularly described because the worlds first cryptocurrency. And heres the way it works. Bitcoin is a thoroughly digital currency, and you can exchange bitcoins between desktops in a international peer-to-peer network. The entire point of most peer-to-peer networks is sharing stuff, like letting individuals make copies of super authorized song or movies to download. If bitcoin is a digital forex, whats stopping you from making a bunch of counterfeit copies and fitting fabulously rich? Well, not like a mp3 or a video file, a bitcoin isnt a string of knowledge that can be duplicated.A bitcoin is virtually an entry on a tremendous, world ledger referred to as the blockchain, for causes good get to in a minute. The blockchain records every bitcoin transaction that has ever happened. And, as of late 2016, the entire ledger is about 107 gigabytes of information. So when you send anyone bitcoins, its not like youre sending them a bunch of files. As a substitute, youre clearly writing the exchange down on that massive ledger anything like, Michael sends Hank 5 bitcoins. Now, possibly youre pondering, but, wait. You said bitcoin doesnt have a vital authority to maintain track of everything! Even though the blockchain is a important document, theres no reliable team of persons who update the ledger and maintain monitor of everybodys cash like a financial institution does its decentralized. Actually, someone can volunteer to keep the blockchain up-to-the-minute with the entire new transactions. And a ton of men and women do. All of it works considering there are tons of people preserving monitor of the identical thing, to be certain all transactions are correct. Like, suppose youre playing a game of poker with some buddies, however none of you could have poker chips, and also you left your cash at house.Theres no money on the table, so just a few of you get out some notebooks, and begin writing down who bets how so much, who wins, and who loses. You dont wholly believe any one else, so every body maintains their ledgers individually. And on the end of every hand, you all compare what youve written down. That means, if any one makes a mistake, or tries to cheat and snag some more cash for themselves, that discrepancy is caught. After a couple hands, you would fill up a page of your pocket book with notes about the cash action. You can think of every web page as a block of transactions. Finally, your notebook could have pages and pages of knowledge a sequence of those blocks. As a consequence: blockchain. Now, if 1000’s of humans are separately retaining the bitcoin blockchain, how are all the ledgers saved in sync? To keep on with our poker analogy: suppose of the complete bitcoin peer-to-peer community as a particularly giant poker desk with thousands of folks. Some are simply exchanging cash, however lots of volunteers are keeping ledgers. So when you need to send or acquire cash, you have to announce it to every person on the table, so the folks preserving track can update their ledgers. So for every transaction, youre saying a few matters to the bitcoin network: your account quantity, the account number of the person youre sending bitcoins to, and how many bitcoins you need to send. And the entire users who are maintaining copies of the blockchain will add your transaction to the present block. Having a bunch of persons hold monitor of transactions looks like a pretty good protection measure. But if all it takes to send bitcoins is a couple of account numbers, that appears like it possibly a security drawback. Its a gigantic crisis with typical cash just consider about all the methods criminals attempt to steal different peoples credit card knowledge. And with bitcoin, theres no relevant bank to notice anything weird occurring to close down fraud, like if it gave the impression of suddenly you spent your complete existence savings on pork jerky. So whats stopping Hank from pretending hes me and simply sending himself all of my bitcoins? Bitcoins are saved lovely reliable thanks to cryptography, which is why its considered a cryptocurrency. In particular, bitcoin stays cozy due to the fact that of keys, that are essentially chunks of information that can be utilized to make mathematical ensures about messages, like howdy, this is relatively from me! While you create an account on the bitcoin network, which you could have heard called a wallet, that account is linked to 2 particular keys: a personal key, and a public key.On this case, the private key can take some knowledge and sincerely mark it, also known as signing it, so that other individuals can affirm these signatures later if they need. So lets say I want to send a message to the community that says, Michael sends 3 bitcoins to Olivia. I sign that message utilising my private key, which handiest i have access to, and no person else can replicate. Then, I ship that signed message out to the bitcoin network, and everyone can use my public key to be certain my signature tests out. That method, every body preserving track of all of the bitcoin trading is aware of to add my transaction to their copy of the blockchain. In other phrases, if the public key works, thats proof that the message was signed by way of my exclusive key and is some thing I wanted to ship.Unlike a handwritten signature, or a credit card quantity, this proof of identity isnt some thing that may be faked by means of a rip-off artist. The who part of every transaction is obviously major, to be certain the proper people are swapping bitcoins. However the when issues, as well. If you happen to had a thousand greenbacks in your bank account, for example, and tried to buy two matters for a thousand bucks every, the bank would honor the primary purchase and deny the second. If the financial institution didnt do that, youd be in a position to spend the same money multiple instances. Which might sound incredible, however its additionally terrible. A economic method cant work like that, due to the fact no one would get paid. So if I best have enough money to pay Olivia or Hank, however i attempt to pay them each, theres a verify constructed into the bitcoin process. Both the bitcoin community and your pockets automatically determine your prior transactions to be certain you have ample bitcoins to send within the first place. But theres one more predicament that might occur with timing: considering that plenty of men and women are maintaining copies of the blockchain everywhere the arena, community delays imply that you wont normally receive the transaction requests within the equal order. So now youve obtained a bunch of persons with a bunch of relatively distinctive blocks to decide upon from, but none of them are necessarily fallacious.Okay, bitcoin. How do you solve that hindrance? Seems, its by using certainly solving problems. Math issues. To add a block of transactions to the chain, each and every individual retaining a ledger has to clear up a specified type of math difficulty created via a cryptographic hash function. A hash perform is an algorithm that takes an input of any measurement, and turns it into an output with a fixed dimension. For example, we could say you had this string of numbers as your input And our example hash perform says to add the entire numbers collectively. So, on this case, the output could be 10. What makes hash capabilities fairly just right for cryptography is that once youre given an enter, its particularly handy to search out the output. But its really tough to take an output and determine the common enter. Even in this super simple instance, there are plenty of strings of numbers that add as much as 10. The only method to determine that the enter was 1-2-3-4 is to just bet except you get it right. Now, the hash function that bitcoin uses is called SHA256, which stands for relaxed Hash Algorithm 256-bit.And it used to be at the beginning developed with the aid of the U.S. National safety agency. Computers that were principally designed to solve SHA256 hash issues take, on normal, about ten minutes to guess the solution to each one. That implies theyre churning by way of billions and billions of guesses before they get it correct. Whoever solves the hash first gets so as to add the next block of transactions to the blockchain, which then generates a brand new math hindrance that wishes to be solved. If a couple of people make blocks at roughly the equal time, then the network picks one to hold constructing upon, which becomes the longest, and most trusted chain. And any transactions in these alternate branches of the chain get put back into a pool to be brought onto later blocks. These volunteers spend 1000’s of bucks on certain computers built to clear up SHA256 issues, and run their electrical power fees up sky excessive to maintain those machines walking. However why? What do they get out of retaining the blockchain? Is it simply community provider? Good, bitcoin sincerely has a built-in method to reward them.In these days, each time you win the race to add a block to the blockchain, 12 and a half of new bitcoins are created out of thin air, and awarded to your account. In fact, you might comprehend the bitcoin ledger-keepers by means of one more name: miners. Thats on account that retaining the blockchain up-to-date is like swinging a proverbial pickaxe at these hash issues, hoping to strike it rich. When bitcoins had been first created in 2009, they didnt really have any perceived price. Tens of bitcoins would were worth the identical as a bunch of pennies. As of November 10th, 2016, although, one bitcoin is valued at 708 US greenbacks. So 12 and a half of bitcoins are worth 8,850 dollars. Thats a first-class chunk of alternate! Each single bitcoin that exists was created to reward a bitcoin miner. Apart from the big payout once they add a new block of transactions, miners are additionally almost tipped an awfully small amount for every transaction they add to the ledger. Its also worth noting that each 210,000 blocks, the quantity of coins generated when a brand new block is introduced goes down via 1/2. So what began as a reward of 50 bitcoins diminished to 25, then 12 and a 1/2.Itll handiest be round 6 bitcoins in a pair extra years, and keep decreasing. Ultimately, there will be so many transactions in a block, that itll still be beneficial for miners to typically be paid in tips. In step with present projections, the last bitcoin customarily across the 21 millionth coin will be mined within the year 2140. This reducing number of bitcoins is truly modelled off the price at which matters like gold are dug out of the earth. And the thought is that maintaining the provide of bitcoins confined will raise their value over time. So, is investing in bitcoin a just right suggestion? Now thats… Now not relatively a SciShow kind of question. Bitcoin continues to be volatile, and experimental. A lot of men and women like it, and plenty of persons consider its doomed to fail.
Litoral Ship is the size of my Crystal ship I commissioned from Salazaar, and he made it per my request a special ship and special reason, it is for my people and me, Hera of course, but it represents me, and she requests one, and he agrees, the two are a pair. and we send them down, and they are armed to the teeth escape vessels and all...are not Earth bound, as to work as we wish. and they are coated with Murals and instructions on the inside in ancient languages. and English captions for the Captains...lol. we see you driving it around and loving it the feel of the sea and the danger and the crew all around you hugging you at times. to make you feel ok. and we like it the crew is probably her. so we say Thor and Freya's ship and Hera and Zues ship is better....so you have to design it with me. and she got it and needed to say this I had said it so corrected...and it is good. yes it is Zues perfect....so we like it. and you make one funny mural I make the other we made that one ok. hehehe and you said oh ok that makes sense...then he sadi the trheat mural and the hate and more and we did he says smaller and it is good. replicate large on the ship above...so we can see. Thor Arrianne Zues Hera Apollo Olympus gravel snuck away and has been. he made his own. it is smaller than mine only by about ten feet. a contest is on as the ships are very durable and most weapons don't work too well on thick stone...the small ones are thick too, a few feet in some cases. he modified his design and came up with a doozee….his have murals and has engines and cannot fly but is fast for its wieight, easily reaches 50knots using high techscrews….and has armament to compliment his small crew. tons of guns. loaded too. will look for ours, and avoid us too we hitmacs Thor Salazaar it is my project I am told I make the decisions on how to introduce it above is fine and you ask me about my ship...it will be done shortly...and I hear an awe here too...little ones lol fun loving too. and it is fun life yes. Salazaar ahhahahahahah it is so much fun I peed. I mean I did. not Hera lol funny I hear my name and pee not me no it is fun and I did too it is like we are joined....and he don't know it. he says and mostly he don't. they say Hera it is like that a lot...ok Salazaar we need to know......about the ship. it is en route it is huge and fast it is vast really, several miles long and it has terrifying weaponry, it will lay htem flat and hurt them badly. it is mostly our design but Thor had input as he did not walnt our tech to escape. and that is part of it we cant use sea water it is electricity though. he thought on it no super reactor and agreed...and we don't need the chatter here but he does say it we need it. no super rector ok Zues..ok I agree...my concern too. and it is fast flies too. up inot the sky and like a pirate ship but is government style. we kill them all with it I think. I get to fire on them yes. lots. from huge ships. but not like this. this is different. and the wooden actual ships are like pop guns and don't aim well. it is horrid vs these. but I tried felt like an animal as I could hear them taunt me out loud. who are you firing that old piece of crap at us for real, bob from oconnor, and I laughed it is your line. and we all laughed as they keep saying it. and we fired on them later they stopped laughing and ylled stop it and we said sure, hand us bob from oconnor we will stop. they luahged then screamed as it burned them badly and they hatd us. we want that. as we are on th other side of cannons sow e seenow it is hard we have infiltrated well. see how you deal w it badly I gess. it is youth too. it I s hard time yes Salazaar yes and it is harder for hre she needs aback up. and w have it ok Gabriel Salazaar Zues Hera

The curious cases at Everton, Chelsea & Man City: When patience isn't a virtue
Despite a good deal of early encouragement the experiment in importing Sarri-ball to the Premier League is now a big dead duck bobbing in the water.
Over a period of many months the players have tried to master their new coach’s highly exacting demands and for reasons that warrant an essay in itself they have substantially failed to do so.
Maurizio Sarri himself has publicly admitted on several occasions that he is struggling to motivate his squad into replicating the ferocious and exhilarating football we all marvelled at in Naples.
To expect everything to click into shape anytime soon is to expect a miracle and frankly we are at the point where either the system goes or at least five or six very expensive players are allowed to leave for a fraction of their true value so that the club can recruit personnel who might – might – better execute it. At any club we know which of the two is sacrificed in this situation. At Chelsea we really know.
There is a third option of course. Sarri could compromise on his beliefs. But Sarri will absolutely and unquestionably not compromise on his beliefs. All of this leaves us with a big dead duck bobbing in the water.
So why is it then that pundits and journalists alike are queuing up at present to insist that what is needed in west London is time and patience? Give Sarri time, they state. Chelsea can’t keep chopping and changing managers.
It is a vacuous proposition with very little substance to back it up beside a much-parroted comparison to Pep Guardiola’s first season at Manchester City; an analogy that was lazy to begin with and is positively comatose now.
Granted the current title holders initially struggled to adapt to a new and complicated style of play but crucially there the players collectively bought into the ethos from the get-go. And at this stage of their baptising campaign they had ironed out the kinks, on route to losing only once more – ironically away to Chelsea, where the visitors were the better side throughout – until the season’s end.
Can anybody imagine Sarri’s Chelsea doing likewise, while blasting fives past multiple opponents as City did in the latter half of 2016/17? Seriously, does any single person reading this now consider a transformation of Chelsea’s fortunes to be even a remotely realistic scenario?
Heading north to Goodison Park leads us to another manager who is walking the green mile. It is not working out for Marco Silva at Everton and it’s not going to work out. I know it. You know it. We all know it. The fans are dispirited and disillusioned. The football is stolid and predictable.
In the past year the 41-year-old has had his reputation widely reassessed and most of us now acknowledge that perhaps we were premature in elevating him as an elite coach. All that will play out from this point until Silva is inevitably sacked is the gradual atrophy of the Toffees’ season.
What will be the fate of Chelsea’s Kepa after his Carabao Cup antics? Ingood Nick wades into the debate below…
You wouldn’t know any of this though by switching on the telly, reading a paper, or trawling half of the internet.
Give him time, say the pundits. Patience is needed, insist people on Twitter in response to anything that could be deemed critical of his ways. Everton can’t keep chopping and changing managers, is the hoary old trope. Some stability is needed.
It could be argued that stability for stability’s sake is akin to lying on a very uncomfortable bed each and every night because you’ve gone through a few beds of late. It could be argued that only stability with the right person makes sense, and if that person doesn’t even have a fighting chance of taking a club forward, then staying with them is completely and utterly counter-productive.
It could be reasoned too that sometimes in football – and I appreciate how highly contentious this suggestion is – the stars do not align and on occasion it is better for both club and manger to go their separate ways. And it really doesn’t matter if that happens six months in or six years in. Indeed it’s probably beneficial to all concerned if it’s the former.
Sadly, that perfectly logical truth now resides on the margins of discourse. Because what takes centre stage are two warring factions, one being the knee-jerkers who call for a manager’s head after a singular defeat and judge a new signing a flop a mere fortnight in. They’re loud. They’re quick to fury and quicker to condemn. They’ve reduced social media to a coliseum of juvenile boos, chorused for the slightest of slights.
And on the other side you have those who really, really don’t want to be mistaken for that lot. That’s why you have pundits espousing status quo at the Bridge. That’s why you have journalists looking down their noses at rightfully disgruntled Evertonians. By trying to distance themselves from the hysteria around them they seek out the higher ground believing that is where sense is occupied.
Plus, let’s be honest, they probably think too that it makes them sound really intelligent in comparison to the snap calls for change.
This week I wrote for another publication on Riyad Mahrez and queried aloud why it was proving so difficult for Manchester City’s record signing to establish himself as a starter. After all, it couldn’t be about adapting to English football because the Algerian has excelled in the Premier League for several years now. Surely then he is experiencing problems integrating himself into Pep Guardiola’s intricate system.
Unlike Sarri or Silva further up this piece at no juncture did I suggest there was a best-by date on the situation. I did however point out that Mahrez has played over a thousand minutes in a sky blue shirt and still hopelessly looks like an individual within a team structure: that after countless training sessions with the world’s best coach he remains a square peg in a round hole. In short, I was saying that enough time has passed to adamantly state there is an issue that warranted discussion.
Give him time, came the angry response. He’s only been here half a season.
The knee-jerkers have a lot to answer for. A sensible time to assess and act upon decisions made has now become forever lost. It is either an instant judgement call or extreme caution due to a fear of being regarded by a stranger as an idiot. Regrettably, in the case of Sarri, Silva, Mahrez and countless other coaches and players, the answer usually lies somewhere in between.

How to Estimate the Total Available Organic Search Traffic for a Website
Whether you’re expanding an existing business into a new market, bringing out a new product range, or building a brand new website from scratch, a key question you’ll need to answer is how much organic search traffic is reasonable to expect, and what the ceiling on that number might be. It’s also useful for an established site to know how close to the ceiling you are. In this post, I outline a process for coming to a reasonable estimate for that number.
How we do it
This is all an estimate, while it tries to be as rigorous as possible there are a lot of unknowns that could cause the estimate to be off in either direction. The intention is to get a ballpark estimate in order to set expectations and give an indication of the level of investment that should be devoted to a site.
In order to work out how much organic traffic we can get, we need four things:
1. A list of keywords we can reasonably expect to rank for
In order to gather this list of keywords, a level of keyword research is required. There are many resources available online for keyword research, including the Keyword Research module on DistilledU. In order to get the most accurate estimates, we want to aim for as wide as possible a set of keywords that are actually relevant to the site we’re proposing.
The intention of this methodology is focussed on the core non-branded keywords a site could rank for, e.g. the names of products and services offered by your website. Branded keywords should be considered separately, as they are much more prone to changes in search volume for a new brand being launched.
Tangential or unrelated keywords (that might be the subject of a blog or resources page) are generally better considered separately, as there’s often an unbounded number of these. My recommendation would be that when deciding on content to create, to run this process at a smaller scale over those particular keywords to estimate the organic traffic available for a piece of content.
Below is a scaled-down example list of keywords that we could put together for a site selling colourful knitwear. In reality, your keyword list should probably run to hundreds or thousands of keywords.
2. Search volume for each keyword in our list
There are many SEO tools available to get search volume data from. At Distilled we like to use Ahrefs, but any SEO tool will have this data available. Google Keyword Planner also gives ranges of keyword volume for free, although that data tends to be grouped into ranges. For the purposes of this exercise, you can take the midpoint of those ranges.
No keyword volume source, including Google, will be completely accurate, and they will generally give a monthly average not taking into account seasonal fluctuations. You should also be aware of keyword volumes for close variants being grouped together - there’s a risk you’ll be double counting without taking this into account.
3. For each keyword, the highest ranking we can reasonably expect to achieve
Once we have our list of keywords with search volume, we should look at what’s currently ranking in the search results, in order to estimate where our site could expect to rank.
Note that what I’m about to outline is not a rigorous process. As mentioned above, the idea is to get a ballpark figure, and this method relies on some assumptions that are not to be held as claims about how SEO works. Specifically, we’re assuming that:
We can make pages of high enough quality, and well-targeted enough, to rank well for a given keyword
With this being the case, we could aspire to rank as high as anyone currently ranking in the SERP who has a less strong domain (in terms of backlink profile) than our site.
Of course, SEO is realistically much more complicated than that, but for the purposes of developing an estimate, we can hold our nose and go ahead with these assumptions.

// <![CDATA[ hbspt.forms.create({ target: '#bottom-of-blog-hubspot-cta-form', css: '', cssRequired: '', errorClass: 'none', errorMessageClass: 'hide', submitButtonClass: 'button orange', portalId: '2124102', formId: '8813300d-507f-42eb-94fe-b6452a7cc124' }); // ]]>
This process is replicating some of the inputs that a lot of keyword tools use to calculate their difficulty scores. The reason we’re doing this is that we need to use a specific ranking position in order to project the amount of traffic we can get, which difficulty scores don’t give us.
In order to work out where can rank, we need to see who’s currently ranking for each keyword. Many rank tracking tools (including STAT, which we use at Distilled) will give you this data, as will search analytics tools such as Ahrefs and SEMrush. Let’s take the top 20 ranking URLs for each keyword. Don’t forget to get the rankings for the country/market you’re doing this analysis on!
We then want to cross-check these URLs against backlink data. Select your favourite backlink tool (Moz/Ahrefs/Majestic), and look up the domain-level strength of each domain that ranks for your keywords. If you’re doing this at a large scale, I’d recommend using the API of your tool, or URL Profiler. For this example, I’ve used Ahrefs domain rating (with 100 for any ranking positions that don’t have an organic result).
We are making the assumption that we can rank as well as any currently ranking site with a lower domain score than our site. If you’re running this analysis for a new site that doesn’t exist (and therefore doesn’t have a backlink profile), you can use a hypothetical target backlink score based on what you believe to be achievable.
For each keyword, find the highest ranking position which is currently occupied by a weaker domain than yours. If none such pages exist in the top 20 results, we can discount those keywords from our analysis, and assume that we can’t rank for them.
4. For each ranking position, the amount of traffic we could expect to get each month
Now that we have our highest achievable rank, and monthly search volume, we can combine them to get the maximum monthly traffic we can expect from each keyword. To do this, we use a clickthrough rate model to estimate what percentage of searches lead to a click on a search result in each ranking position.
There are some very good public resources - I like Advanced Web Ranking’s data. While generic data like this will never be perfect, it will get us a good-enough estimate that we can use for this task.
If we multiply the monthly search volume by the click-through rate estimate for the highest achievable ranking position, that gives us the traffic expectation for each keyword. Add these together, and we get the total traffic we can expect for the site. We’re done!
What we can do with this information
Now that we have a number for the traffic we can expect, what can we do with it? Let’s revisit our assumptions. We’ve gone into this analysis assuming a static list of keywords, and a fixed backlink profile. What if we change that up?
What if our backlink profile improves?
Because we’ve set this up as a model in a spreadsheet, it’s relatively simple to tweak the domain score rating. By doing this, we can see how performance would improve by, for example, adding 10 points to our domain rating. The sensitivity of the traffic levels to small changes in this would be a good indication that it’s a good idea to invest in growing your backlink profile.
What if we target a broader range of keywords?
The other way we could get more traffic would be by targeting more keywords. This could be via blog or resources style content, or by adding more transactional keywords targeting more terms. In order to update the model, it’s a case of essentially repeating the above process with a new list of keywords, and adding it into the initial model. This can be a great way to identify new keyword opportunities.
Improving the model
As mentioned above, this was (intentionally) a very simple model. We’ve glossed over a lot of nuance in order to come to a ballpark figure of achievable search traffic. For a more rigorous estimate of the available search traffic, there are a few modifications I would make:
Use a tailored CTR model
The AWR link I provided above provides a good breakdown of clickthrough rate by industry and device, as well as different types of search intent. If you have the time, you should go through your keywords and pick out the appropriate CTR curve per keyword.
Break it up by device type
Some keywords can have dramatically different search results by device type. Tracking keywords separately on mobile and desktop, as is possible using some rank tracking tools including STAT, would allow you to separately estimate the highest achievable rank on each device. Unfortunately, there’s no source of search volume that I’m aware of that allows you to split search volumes by device type (please correct me in the comments if you know of one!), so you can split the search volume in half between mobile and desktop, or in a different proportion if you know that the particular space has a bias to mobile or desktop.
Look at the SERPs
The above methodology focuses on backlinks as the key decider of whether a page can rank or not. This is not how search works - there are hundreds of factors that go into deciding who ranks where for which keywords. Looking more closely at who is currently ranking will give great insight, as it might show opportunities that wouldn’t otherwise be apparent bu looking at links alone.
For example, if a weaker domain ranks in the top three positions for a keyword that it is an exact match for, which would indicate that those results aren’t a good opportunity. Conversely, if the pages ranking for a given keyword aren’t a very good match for the intent of the search, and you can create a page that matches the intent better, that represents a better opportunity than link numbers would suggest.
Also, if all of the pages ranking for a search term aren’t a close match to your site (e.g. if all of the results are informational for a search that you would target with a transactional page), it’s probably not a good opportunity and you should remove it from your list.
Conclusion
Thanks for reading through this post! I’d love to hear if anyone has any feedback on the process or ways it could be improved. Let me know in the comments!

Final Work
This is my final work inspired by the photographs of Julia Margaret Cameron. I built off of the concept I had from my previous assessment about a glitch being equivalent to a mistake but instead of focusing on the process, I focused on the final products. I tried to portray how “mistakes can make an art” in a similar way that Cameron’s work portrayed it so. The idea of mimicking Cameron’s style came from Week 8’s topic of “Value” as I found the concept of a counterfeit being equal to the real deal interesting to work with. I decided to take on that idea and paired it with the current concept I had about glitches to make this body of work.
From what I researched, Cameron mostly worked with portraits. To make mine different, I decided to work with objects and see how that could turn out if I incorporated Cameron’s style. What I found from my development process is that it was really difficult to replicate her mistakes intentionally (whether she made them on purpose or not). Making the photograph blurry was relatively easy but trying to maintain that and ensuring the detail of the salient and the colour of the overall image were correct was difficult. It was surprising how I couldn’t replicate her work perfectly even with advancements in technology.
The modified images all had several mistakes. The first image of the book and compass was too “grainy” and the colour was too bright in comparison to the original image from Cameron that I tried to replicate. The second image that I see as a “shelter” kind of structure was evidently pixelated rather than blurry. With the third image, it was impossible for me to make the pair of glasses darker without compromising the background colours as they matched the original image. In addition to this, the overall picture wasn’t as blurry as I intended it to be. The detail is too clear. With the final changed image of the “broccoli tree house”, the image was too “clean”. It was easy to get the right colours, but to replicate the mistakes Cameron made for this image wasn’t something easy to copy. I could’ve applied a filter but it would’ve changed the image entirely. Realising the difficulty in completely recreating her style, I tried to maintain its similarity to the original images by focusing on the colours used.
In stating these mistakes of my work, I’ve just pointed out the many ways I couldn’t copy her style, despite her style just consisting of her many mistakes. It’s what makes her work original and interesting, and it proves how “mistakes can make an artwork” as I couldn’t replicate her work at all even with current advanced technology that she had no access to back in her time. In addition to this, with the many mistakes I made in trying to copy her work, I also created a work of my own, dissimilar to hers. The mistakes I made created new artworks, which displays this “twist” in my overall concept as I show how unique her style is and also how one can make their own artwork through differences. Hence why I continued with creating this body of work because it showcased my idea perfectly in two different ways.
In regards to the topic of “Value”, other than this idea of a counterfeit equalling the original, I also played with the idea of appropriation, as what I did was basically take Cameron’s style and recreate it in current times with the use of developed technology. Appropriating her style obviously had its differences, as I stated above, which hints at current standards in photography as I couldn’t replicate the mistakes at all. The edited images all turned out “clean” and detailed just as the contemporary society likes them, despite how I wanted it to be blurry, unfocused etc. Overall, I think I accomplished executing my ideas well through this body of work.
