every time someone on here calls me smart i am instantly humbled by remembering that i only discovered geckos were real this year

#i used to think they were mythical creatures like dragons #and i didn't picture them as like. regular lizards #they had one of those weird dinosaur collar things that flare up when they're angry/scared etc #i thought people referred to lizards as geckos as like. a haha funny joke that had been integrated into the common animal based lexicon #you know like how komodo dragons aren't actually dragons but we still call them that #anyways i'm still not 100% sure they're real but. the evidence does seem to be piling up against mw #yes i should be studying rn and what about it #cauldron rambles
