i think cicadas should b used as character inspiration more.... I see a lot of moths, beetles, sometimes bees etc used in character designs, but i would like to see more cicada appreciation

#original nonsense #i will say we were watching the thing tonight and it makes a very rattling noise like a cicada. which i thoight was cool. #i think they could b used in horror contexts..... silence of the lambs had moths and candyman had bees. were r the cicadas. #(besides probably being used in sound effects in the thing) #also i just think theyd look cool in character designs. they have very distinct shapes faces sounds etc. yeah. this is my cicada propaganda
