Give me scholar Hob who travelled around the world so much, spread out the knowledge so freely all across the world. Give me Hob who, whilst fighting wars, tells folktales, share stories of ancient times with such eloquence and truth, about the both sides. give me Hob who is a walking talking encyclopedia of dead languages, cultures and civilizations. discovered and undiscovered. Give me Hob that talks languages in ancient dialects. Give me Hob who was STUNNED by the architecture of the Mughals and was in AWE of the pyramids (He actually did climb them, for science, ofc) when he first saw it, give me Hob who cannot, for the life of him, keep everything he knows and jumbles up BAD, mixes what came before, what was after. Give me Hob who tackled every science out there, he tore down and built up the first car engines ever, he saw the statue of liberty being built in front of him. Give me Hob who got so excited when atomic structures were proposed, then DNA structure, advancement of nuclear physics. Give me Hob who very much took the matters of the Sleepy Sickness into his own hands and studied it for decades on end. Give me Hob who almost tore himself apart when he saw the science he very much loved turned into such devastating weapons, give me Hob who personally met with many great minds of the era. Give me Hob who was so goddamn happy about space travel, he promised himself to go someday, his secret of immortality be damned.

I loved episode 15's end plot twist because not only did brennan take ally throwing the book just because and using it against them but also because they're now the genuine villains in this small town's story. like, not in the sense that these people are doing something terrible and destiny's children are their antagonist by trying to stop them, this town of small people are genuinely afraid for their lives.

My grandma's kitchen used to have this really cool wallpaper in it but a few years ago she painted over all of it in this pale yellow color. The wallpaper can still be seen inside the cabinets and I just wanted to share bc I think it's neat.
