Okay so HONESTLY im gonna ramble about this idea i got from reading one of the genshin sagau posts about the creator and their books that are read are popping into tevyat BUT imagine if it were the movies we have watched (inspired from @sagaubeloved sorry for the ping if it bothers you 😭)

LIKE imagine if ur a horror movie fanatic, IMAGINE THE CHARACTER'S REACTION. Idk if u watch horror bcs u like it or u just like a good scare or two but imagine showing them a movie like maybe the nun 2 or fnaf or coraline or ANY HORROR MOVIES. Imagine if the people (scholars, maybe some theatrics enjoyers?) are horrified watching it "THE CREATOR WATCHES THIS?!" "Yeah i do-" They'd either get nightmares or became really paranoid cause horror movie end credits sometimes scares me like 'based on-' no. I think they'd be paranoid because it says based on real life or something. Especially if its coraline, HONESTLY I COULDNT SLEEP MUCH FOR A FEW DAYS BECAUSE OF THE SPIDER MOM OR WHATEVER OTHER MOM THAT IS 😭😭 buttons for eyes (no- not identity v-) or if its something like FNAF then they'd probably be paranoid 💀 (until they know its actually from a game that has like 13 versions with i think 8 being the ACTUAL part of the series and the rest being spin-offs)

Now other than horror movies we have something moreeeee child friendly? Maybe some of y'all still watches trolls (i heard trolls 3 was about to be released), disney maybe, dreamworks am i the only one who suddenly remembers ratatouille talking about this-. The characters would be less horrified with this and go like "oh, this is the type of movie creator likes? Sounds nice" IF YOU'RE LIKE ME AND YOU HAVE THE DISC OF THE MOVIES AND YOU PLAYED THAT ONE MOVIE YOU JUST CANT STOP WATCHING BECAUSE ITS SO DANG GOOD, they'd probably cherish THAT movie more than the others because BRO, THE CREATOR watches that shit 24/7 WHO WOULDNT KEEP THAT MOVIE DISC FOR THE WHOLE TEVYAT TO SEE. AND YK WHATS FUNNY, IF ITS A MOVIE THAT HAS LIKE ANIMALS AS THE MAIN CHARACTERS (Madagascar, Lion King, etc) idt they'd even know what a LION is. I MEAN THE BASIC ANIMALS LIKE DOGS, CATS AND BIRDS ARE THERE (does rishboland tigers count as tigers here-) BUT SOMETHING MORE WILD LIKE LIONS or SPECIFIC BIRD TYPES, MONKEYS????(wolfs should exist i mean, theres wolvendom, snakes also exist cuz if not then wtf is changsheng, deers, dragons???)

Okay maybe some science fiction enjoyers, something futuristic or robotic like Transformers maybe? (Im sorry my brain could only thing of that 💀 like any transformers movie) They'd either be baffled at that or like taking notes, they'd probably compare those futuristic stuff like the robots with RUIN GUARDS or WHATEVER ELSE IS THE BRANCHING OFF OF THOSE THINGS. Maybe Sumeru would get the gist? Tbh sumeru kinda have more gadgets but we dk abt snezhnaya yet (im thinking snezhnaya has some of their own gadgets as well)

A lot of my free time is spent playing games or writing, I also love reading plus drawing/painting.

Isfp-t or my kin itto and scaramouche. People say I have rbf (resting bitch face). Though I am really nice to people, unless they mess with the people I care about then I couldn't care less about them. I try to be helpful when I can. When I am around people I know, I can be loud and talkative (the loud part isn't on purpose it's just when I'm happy or excited). I tend to put people a lot before myself. I don't really like talking about my personal issues to anyone and can be known as the therapy friend. It's the opposite though when I'm around people I don't know, I'll be quiet and not wanting to interact. I have adhd, depression and anxiety (wonderful I know). When I do get upset I don't talk and won't interact until I have calmed down. I do cuss a lot though I'm more careful when I'm around kids/people I don't know.

My favorite nation is fontaine (mostly because you can go underwater and I love sea animals), my favorite element is electric (fire is a close second).

Random fact: I have a messy sleep schedule and tend to not be able to sleep a lot, so I've ended up staying up for a couple days in a row one time. I don't like ASMR videos, unless it's cooking ones.

Im gonna put the characters I don't wanna be matched with just because I like a lot of the charactersin genshin: heizou, kazuha, female characters (I don't know I just don't like the female characters romantically).

Zhongli!

He could spend hours watching you write, paint or just reading a book with you, he would usually bring a tea, and if you don't like it, something else for you to drink.

I doubt he would say anything to you about it at first, but he wouldn't put on a very good face if he ever sees you making light of your problems because you think they are not important or when he knows something has happened to you but you don't want to talk to him about it.

Zhongli's solution is simple: pamper you by taking you to restaurants he managed to get into thanks to his contacts, helping you sleep with massages and comforting words.

He wouldn't mind your habit of swearing, the most he'd do would be to give you some touch if he sees that there are children in front of you or susceptible people. And he would certainly give you all the space in the world when you're not in the mood to interact.

fave characters: i have a lot of characters that i love but my most favorites are kazuha, hu tao, xingqiu, chongyun, albedo, benny, ayaka, yoimiya aaand tighnari. there are a lot more that i like but if i had to select just some those would be it i think!

fave 4 star: def one of the three i mentioned before! either benny, xingqiu or chongyun, but its so hard to choose just one.... mmm i think im gonna say benny bc hes very dear to me and has been accompanying me since my very first days playing the game, he has never left my team and i dont know what i would have done without him (i do know, i would have died countless times for sure)

5 stars i have: ive been playing the game for like a year and a half so even being f2p im lucky that i finally have most of my faves! i have kazuha, ayaka, hu tao, albedo, kokomi, yoimiya, xiao, nahida and eula. and from the standard banner, can you believe i only have keqing and mona after that much time playing?? well thats bc i have keqing c1 and.... mona c4. apart from the first 50/50 that i lost, which was with keqing, ive lost ALL the rest with mona and at this rate im sure im gonna get her c6 :'))) hyv stop giving me monas and give one tighnari pls PLS

accidental pulls: i DID have one accidental pull very similar to your case with itto and it was with eula. it was right when i was starting playing genshin and she was actually my very first 5 star. i only did one (1) ten pull on her banner bc xingqiu was there too and i wanted him so bad, but instead i ended up with no xingqiu and one eula that came home at pity 15 and winning 50/50, the luckiest ive ever been and for what... (and the saddest thing is i also didnt get xingqiu until months later sighhh). okay actually it wasnt that bad back then bc i didnt have any more 5 stars at the time so i used her as my main dps until i got ayaka, but now i dont play with her anymore

5 stars i want: since i got kazuha, who i really really wanted and saved for him for more than a whole year bc i lost 50/50 on him the first time (and the second time too... but i was prepared and could get him regardless), now i dont have any other character that i very desperately want as it was with him. and its bc ive been lucky that ive been able to get the rest of my faves too! i mean sure, i do want MORE characters, the ones that id like to get are tighnari, scaramouche (hyv im begging let me win 50/50 this time), nilou, cyno and venti, but i dont have that level of obsession i had with kazuha alsjfdk but yeah when their banners come (back) ill def be pulling for them!

fave teams: and my fave teams!!! im not a meta player and i know there are probably better combinations than the ones i use but idc and im very happy with my teams. so im gonna put the names i have for each team and its members!

permafrost brrrr: kazuha, chongyun, kokomi, ayaka. i loveeee fighting and freezing all the enemies along the way, so this is one is probably my favorite from all these teams. before getting kazuha i used it with xingqiu (hence the name of the team, tho it still works) and i miss a bit playing with xingqiu and chongyun together in the same team but kazuha makes this team even more fun and i like a lot how these 4 work together!

pants on fire!: xingqiu, albedo, hu tao, benny. my team for hu tao! ive been using this one since i got albedo and hu tao last year and ive never thought of changing it ever since, im very attached to it

short kings: kazuha, albedo, xiao, benny. my team for xiao and yes i wanted a team where i could put all my bois together and this one was perfect. a friend that is very invested in meta told me that kazuha wasnt useful at all here but idc bc just playing with them together makes me very happy

papayas quemadas: xingqiu, nahida, kokomi, yoimiya. this team i created it very recently! i was struggling a bit to find the best team for yoimiya and when i got nahida i tried this one and its very fun im liking it a lot! (ajdflsk abt the name of the team it means burnt papayas in spanish, bc the flowers (?) you make with hydro and dendro i call them papayas and then with yoimiyas pyro they become burnt, so yeah :))

queens: kokomi, eula, fischl, beidou. this is a team i have meant for eula using electro and cryo to boost her phys dmg and kokomi too to create electrocharged. i tried it a bit and it was actually fun! but i still need to build the chars better and i dont like eula that much as a character, so i dont really use this one rn. but maybe one day ill finally build them properly and give it a try again!

Every day i am some level closer to just. Burning capitalism down. Yeah! If mihoyo aint gonna look after em than i will. Cant wait for noelle hangout pt 3 where she & lumine just. Go on more dates. She's fun in teams with yelan. Entirely fair i usually do when the whim strikes me but most of the time im busy or going on hiking trails. Ooooh please do i would love to see some pictures from norway. Honkai has hot women thats how it got me. But friends getting you into media is so powerful a force. i think it's because i'm already used to waking up early... even tho i'm a very sleep deprived student that sleeps at 12-1 and wakes up at 5 😔 i'm fairly a light sleeper so no matter what time i sleep, whenever my alarm goes off i'm always up by the second 🥲

Im not even gonna lie i only played genshin today. I love Xinyan and her story but her domain confused me trying to get the last few chests. Kazuha's too, i dont think i got all of them there yet, I'm kinda dreading the rest of the domains in this event (but i had enough conches to get Fischl's new skin yay). Still no Heizou, i hit pity again only to get a copy of a bow i already had. Sigh.

And my current headcanons?? Hmm. You gotta specify what characters, i need it narrowed down. But because all i've been doing has been playing genshin, let's see some headcanons for that. I think i mentioned it a few weeks ago that i really want itto and venti to be friends. In my heart they met during that one fanfiction festival event a few months ago and venti inspired itto to hold the drumming festival after. In a modern AU i'd even say they're both big rhythm game fans and play lives together.

not to mention that I rarely get any schoolwork, there's the gremlin part in me that doesn't even do them, which brings me to my next reason

other than having recently downloaded crk, (cookie run kingdom) i also like to play hsr and genshin impact which takes up almost every second of my day that i don't spend doing normal people tasks + watching youtube

with version 2.0 and 4.4 of hsr and genshin respectively coming up, as well as worrying about raiden, i'm most certainly not gonna be writing anything for the time being

i could try promising to try my best but they'd mostly be empty ones even by me

but even these don't compare to my last reason.

— 3. neuvilette comic ptsd

the amount of time i spent on the neuvilette sagau mix drawing had me avoiding tumblr AT ALL COSTS.

though, it was mostly about y'all's feelings, it mostly had me expecting the worst and making me think yall would be disappointed with the quality of the drawings due to the amount of time it was taking me to make the pieces (i legit need to make a deadline on my fics 💀)

so, due to those thoughts, my avoidance eventually led me to not be very active on tumblr, even after posting the comic for our lord and savior aquarius 🫶

and all of that had more or less led me to more than enough crash-ins with burnout, art and writer's block, which explains my inactivity and lack of interaction here

im not kidding when i say that i get literal flashbacks of that time and leading me to think im just disappointing y'all with the lack of uploads as well as the amount of drafts i have 💀

and even though I've told y'all multiple times i don't post regularly, though it depends on what y'all define as "regularly", not even getting a fic in at least every month sets my alarm bells off to make me post something and drive me to burnout again

Ajax loves kids and he’ll make that known early on in your relationship

Like...This man wants five or more kids but he’ll settle for four. He dreams of a big family, getting to surround himself with you and your kids every night for family dinners, everyone getting together for big birthday parties or reunions! That’s his dream life! Plus, in Snezhnaya, most families have more than two kids anyways

He will cry so hard when his babies are placed in his arms for the first time, I mean he’s a mess. Nose is running, eyes puffy, lost of sniffling lmao he is so excited to be a dad!! Don’t you dare tell the other Harbingers how much he cried...What do you mean you took a picture when he wasn’t looking??? Hey??!?!

With his obscene amount of mora, he’ll buy a huge house that will accommodate everyone. Anything you want will be purchased that day or within 48 hours, the same goes for the kids

But they’ll all learn to be thankful for what they have. They’ll learn to fight, fish and speak multiple languages. He has high expectations but let’s face it, he’ll be proud of them no matter what

You’re gonna have to be the one to put your foot down though because Ajax doesn’t enjoy being the ‘mean parent’, he has trouble saying no to the kiddos which can create some tension between you and your husband. He has good intentions of course!! He doesn’t wanna say no to those cute, freckled faces!!

Zhongli:

Zhongli is nervous about having kids because he’s immortal. So this will go one of two ways. 1. You have the baby and the baby ends up not being immortal (or you adopt a baby who is not immortal) Then he loses you both. OR 2. You have the baby and it inherits his immortality and becomes an adeptus. Now he and the baby will have to watch you die while they both life forever.

Either way...It hurts him to think about because he loves you!! He wants to have a family with you!! He wants to give you that perfect family life every human desires!! But he’s torn

You two will just have to figure it out.

Zhongli will be a strong, male figure for your kid(s) and he will instill that traditional kindness and respect into their behavior. ‘Please’ and ‘thank you’ always, always offer to help someone who needs it, do good deeds and you will feel accomplished, be the best you you can be, alway try your hardest because that’s all that matters

He will be sure that your kid(s) always feel loved ALWAYS. Zhongli will tell them stories, cook for them, take them to school, anything that needs to be done. When you’ve had a rough day, he’ll step in to take over for the night without being asked. He shows interest in everything your kid(s) like and he will do his damn best to display every piece of artwork they make or every pretty rock they find

He...will make a great dad :’)

Kaeya:

Ooooh brother, at first Kaeya says no he doesn’t want kids but...Then he starts thinking about it

He observes the happy families that walk around the cobblestone streets of Mondstadt, how the kiddos smile and laugh with their parents. He’ll patrol in the afternoons, usually rounding the corner just in time to see the city’s kids leave school for the day, watching as they all run down the street to go home to their parents or play in the fountain together...Yeah, that really warms his heart

He’d want one or two kids, preferably two to avoid an only child being lonely. He isn’t on the best terms with Diluc but he can admit that they had a great childhood together, playing at the winery and running around as brothers do

Kaeya would be a very patient, understanding father. He doesn’t have much of a temper so he’d use the kids’ mistakes as learning opportunities instead of getting upset at them

He would be obsessed with the kids when they’re babies though oh man if you thought you had baby fever, he has it times ten! He loves holding the baby, watching with a twinkling eye as his baby grasps his thumb with its tiny hand... adorable

And if your kids inherited his eyes, his star shaped pupils that his ancestors passed down to him...He’s gonna get emotional

Everyone at the knights’ headquarters and the Angel’s Share will get sick of him REALLY fast cause he won’t stop bragging about how cute and smart his kids are lmao

Diluc:

Diluc would be such a soft dad don’t even get me started

He loves you so much of course he wants to have kids with you! Is that even a question?? He won’t be the one to bring it up unless he gets the feeling that you want kids but once you ask, he’ll agree so fast

He’ll be grateful to even have one kid with you :’) and he’ll be fine with however many kids YOU want. You want one kid? Perfect! You want four? No problem, the manor is big enough for ten! You...you want ten...? Time to hire some more maids then lmao

Diluc is a worry wart though, he’ll be afraid to hold the baby, feed it, bathe it, he’s terrified of hurting the baby or the baby suddenly hating him. So just help him out!! Cause when he gets comfortable with the baby, he’ll be in full dad mode

He isn’t embarrassed to walk around the manor, conducting business with a baby strapped to his chest!

Diluc is a very kind, gentle dad who will always offer helpful solutions to the kiddos’ problems. He’ll make sure all of their needs are met while also trying to avoid spoiling them... Too much... There will be a fair amount of spoiling...

His own father wasn’t too affectionate with him so that’s why he’ll be affectionate with his kids! Hugs and kisses when he tucks them in at night, big dad hugs when they get home from school, holding their hands in the busy streets of Mondstadt. His father was a great dad! He just aims to be better.

Xiao:

Like Zhongli, he worries about the mortality thing. Since he’s an Adeptus, his kid will certainly be an Adeptus too if you have kids together.

He also worries that his kid(s) will hate him. His duty is to kill demons which means that rain or shine, holidays, special occasions, day or night he’s gotta be ready to go slaughter demonic beings. So he’ll inevitably miss out on important stages in the kiddos’ lives

And admittedly... He’ll be scared of his kids lmao

They’re screaming, crying, barfing, pooping, laughing, screaming again...He can’t predict their behavior. It’s unsettling. All of that goes away one night when you sit him down and place your sleeping baby in his arms. His eyes go wide...And he just watches. This tiny, little baby...Feels no fear for him. Venti....does not want kids. He thinks they’re cute! He likes the idea of kids but he knows he wouldn’t enjoy actually having kids

You two already have so much fun together!! You don’t need a kid!! You guys have dogs!! Dogs are like kids! But they’re more independent and they’re cuter!

He’ll feel bad if you want kids and he doesn’t, he really will! But it’ll be nearly impossible to convince him cause he’s made his mind up :/

Venti’ll make it up to you somehow though, he’ll take you out more and show you all of the adventures you guys can have if there aren’t kids around

But for the sake of fatherhood headcanons, let’s pretend he gave in. Venti would be a very caring dad. He would cuddle the hell out of this kiddo and sing to them :’) the only problem is that Venti doesn’t like being tethered to one place for too long so he tends to take off and not come back for a few days... :(

Albedo:

Albedo wants kids mostly just to see what fatherhood would be like. He’s always been curious about what that part of his life would be like so why not have a kid

He’d be good with one kid, two at most cause after practically raising Klee, he knows how some kids can be and...He doesn’t have the mental capacity for more than two kids at a time lmao

He tries his best to show more emotion in his face. We all know he usually sits like this 😐 and goes ‘wow im so happy right now’. If you didn’t know him, you’d think he was bored out of his mind right? So he’s gotta work on that. And when he musters up a smile for the baby and it smiles back at him????? Yeah...He’s gonna try to smile a lot more now

He definitely softens up once he becomes a dad, he shows emotion more than he used to and surprisingly, he takes time off of work. Shocker, I know! He decides that he’s been in the lab long enough and that he wants to be able to be there for these moments with you and his kid(s) :’) :’) He trusts Sucrose and Timaeus to take over for him for a couple hours

He keeps a journal for each kid and writes down the date and time they have their firsts or just interesting things they do ->

- 8/4: Baby sees and plays with a cat for the first time

- 9/5: Baby smacked me in the face and laughed so hard she threw up

-9/12: Baby learns that pulling my hair gets my attention. She now continues to do so

-10/15: Baby stays at Aunt Klee’s house for the first time

Baizhu:

Baizhu really loves kids, he works with them a lot and he considers Qiqi to be his daughter anyway but in terms of you guys having a kid together, with his condition he can probably only handle one kid running around

He will do his absolute best to be a good dad. Even if he feels like death, he’ll help change diapers, feed the baby, care for it when you need a break. He isn’t contagious so when you’re sleeping and he feels gross, he’ll sit back against the pillows with the baby on his chest, the three of you resting together (though he doesn’t fall asleep...that would be dangerous for the baby)

Baizhu already tends to nag at you about your health and lifestyle choices but now?? He’ll be a menace. He’ll be constantly evaluating your baby’s condition, checking to see if a certain food is giving them a rash or making sure their skin isn’t drying out. He’s hyper aware of your baby’s health and will be the one to treat them if they get sick

He’s a busy guy since he runs the pharmacy but he will always do his best to be present for your baby’s big milestones! And when your kid cries cause Baizhu’s medicine tastes like shit, he’ll do his best to not be disappointed in their reaction lmao

When you leave him alone with the baby, he’ll wrap a scarf around himself to tie the baby to his chest while he works and...he looks so cute :) dad baizhu <3 <3 <3 <3

Bonus points for him buying the baby toy medical equipment so he can get your kiddo interested in medicine :)

It was one of those calming days, no agents banging on your door to escort your boyfriend to that empire called the fatui, just your lover sitting down on your shared bed, beckoning you to sit on his lap while he rubs his sleepy eyes.

“Scara!” Your hand rushed to his as you attempted to pull away his half asleep figure off from the mattress, having an idea in mind. “Hm-! What is it..—“

He grumbled irritatedly at the sudden movement and his expression formed into one of confusion. “What in the world are you doing at 8 am in the morning…”

His words were muffled as you threw clothes onto him, his figure washed in pink frills and a butterfly headband. “Good grief.” He deadpanned at the mirror as you giggles at the sight of his annoyance.

Despite his attempts at throwing off the frills he kept still, letting you do what you want as you played with the outfits. The sight of such a domestic occurrence, it warmed his heart. He never once thought hed have a fiance, one that took care of him and made him smile whatever the situation.

The harbinger felt selfish and evil knowing that he sometimes prevented that beautiful smile of yours as his hand hovers above your head before patting it.

“Hehe.. your such a pretty boy you know scara?”

Your words flow out like hand woven silk as you tie on the ribbon of possibly the 5th outfit youve forced your husband to try on this morning. The smile only widens when he grumbles at your claim.

“What even was the thought process behind this..”

a/n: i finally wrote the chapter two, congrats to me. i decided to speed run a bit rn bc i don't want the fic to be longer than 20 chapters that's why im starting to put the build up of romance rn. also, let's just pretend that wangshu inn already existed at this time. adding to that, i tried to understand the lore sm but it seems that im still confused, that's why i might write some wrong things.

please be reminded that this is a work of fiction, this has nothing to do with the genshin lore.

The trip to finding an inn to stay was exhausting. Being unfamiliar with the land is a nuisance. It was luck that you found an inn before the night gets darker.

You let out a sigh of relief as you finally stood in front of the said inn. All your exhaustion came crashing down suddenly.

“Ah, I want to rest already.”

You entered the inn. Observing your surroundings, the furnitures and structure was very different from your homeland. The sudden thought of your home taste like sweet and sour on your mouth. Sweet, because you finally got to explore the world beyond yours like you’ve always wanted to. Sour, because you left your homeland disobeying your parents.

‘I just wanted to be free. . .’

You snapped out of your thoughts when the receptionist called you. “Are you gonna check in?” she gave you a small smile. You nodded and took out your mora, you somehow got it somewhere.

“For a day?” she asked.

“No, I would actually want to stay here until I go on another journey, would that be fine?”

“Of course, however, it’s gonna cost you a lot of mora— we can give you a discount though.”

“That would be very nice. Say, do you have any vacant job? Like anything? I really need it.” You looked at the receptionist hopefully.

“Well uhm, we’re not really looking for someone to hire. However, since you look like you’re just new here, then I guess I can give you a job.” You felt her eyeing your clothes. Well you can’t blame her, your clothes were really out of liyue’s clothing.

“Really? Thank you so much! When can I start?” The receptionist smiled at you and told you that you can start tomorrow night. You thanked her again as she showed you the way to your room.

You keep tossing around your bed as if you can’t sleep. After a few minutes of changing positions, you finally sat up.

‘I can’t sleep.’

You decided to went to the balcony of the inn and unwind. You arrived at the top, looking around your surroundings, two figures caught your attention, it seems that they’re having a conversation so you paid no mind to them and rest your forearms on the railings of the balcony.

Cold whispers of the wind suddenly embraced your form sending a shiver down to your spine. You hug yourself as you let out a puff of breath.

Sighing at the cold, you stared back at the glistening stars and moon. The loneliness of your voyage came crashing suddenly. The homesickness is kicking in. You never disobeyed your parents like that. You never escaped like that.

You wouldn’t call it escaping actually. It’s just that more likely, they’re taking your own rights and freedom. You would rather call what you did running away. . .finding what your heart wants, and it’s not in your homeland, you knew that all too well.

You love where you live, but at the same time, you hate it. You can’t be free because of your parents who unknowingly neglected you. All they think is your homeland here and there, they’re too prideful, think too highly of themselves.

You don’t want to live a life like that, that’s why you run away. A tear manage to escape your eyes, you wiped it as you stand up and decided to go back to your room.

As you turn around, you catch a figure looking at you in your rear view. You looked back at the person. Realizing that the figure seems familiar, you turn your whole body to face it and looked at the face of it carefully.

As if a light bulb appeared, your face brightens up a surprised expression. You opened your mouth and let words out to the man.

“So it’s you again, what a coincidence, mister gold!”

The man who stood feet away from you, stared at you and move his feet towards your place. “Meeting you once more is the least that I expected, a coincidence indeed.” He nodded while a hand is placed under his chin.

“So, what brings you here in this inn? Gonna stay a night here too?” You started as you stared at his amber eyes again.

“No, that’s not it. Just visited a. . .friend, that’s it.”

“Ooh, the one you’re talking to earlier?” You asked a he let out a hmm.

“Yes, that’s him indeed.”

“Nice.”

Awkward tension started rising as you just stood there, while he stared at you, waiting for you to talk.

“Uhm, do you know any good places here in liyue? You know, I don’t where to go and continue my adventure hehe.” You scratch the back of your neck as you looked away, embarrassed.

“Good places, you say? I know a few that does have a ravishing scenery and history. If you do not mind, I can suggest a few.”

“Sure! I would appreciate that!”

“Let’s see, you can start with the Guyun Stone Forest, located at the Sea of Clouds.”

“Oh uh, where is that?” you laughed awkwardly.

“It seems that you’re not familiar with liyue, you really are new here.” You let out a small ‘yeah’ in response.

The man infront of you sighed and nodded to himself, as if making a decision.“Alright then, meet me here tomorrow morning, I’ll accompany you.”

Your eyes widened as you looked at the man infront of you. ‘What?’

“There’s no need! I don’t want to disturb you any longer.” You shook your hands infront of you, refusing to take his offer.

“It’s fine, you look like you’ve shown interest in liyue, that’s great. It’s my duty to show people the beauty of my land— I mean the land of Geo Archon. Besides, is it not good that you have someone who will guide you on your journey?”

“O—oh, yeah you’re right. But is it really alright with you?” You gazed at man, still baffled by his service.

“Like I said, it’s fine. Now, are you gonna accept my offer of kindness or not?”

“Ofcourse I do! Who wouldn’t want a free tour guide?” You smiled at him.

“Free? Who said it’s free?” Your smile soons fade as you stared at him.

“Oh, yeah ofcourse it’s not free. Well, what do you want?” You sighed and looked at him colorless.

‘Honestly speaking, I don’t know.’ Rex Lapis thought.

“I’ll let you know when time’s up.”

“Well, when is time’s up ?”

“When you decided to rest from your adventures.”

“Fine then, just make sure it’s not illegal, I will really call liyue’s Archon and say that you’re a disgrace to his land.” Rex Lapis bit his lips to stiffle a chuckle at your remarks.

“It’s a contract then.” He finally said after he swallowed his laughters.

“A contract? Oh yeah, almost forgot that liyue is also the land of contracts. It’s a contract.” You shook your hands with him, noticing once again his hands.

“By the way, can I ask a question?” You utter while still gazing at his hands.

“Ask away.”

“Why is your arms and hand like that?” You now looked at his amber eyes. It went silent for a second before he answered.

“It’s a secret.”

After that night

“Where are we heading?” You followed behind him while checking your surroundings. You two had been walking for so long.

“We’re heading to a place called Luhua Pool.” He answered while looking at the sides every now and then. Checking if a citizen is around. He wouldn’t want to be recognize, right?

After a few minutes of walking which made your legs hurt, you finally arrived at Luhua Pool.

“We are here, take a look around and share your thoughts.”

Your mouth parted in awe looking at the terraces of water. “Why does the water looks clearer than my eye sight.” He find it funny that you say such ridiculous things easily.

“Well, the water you see right now is full of minerals that it appears to be smooth and crystal clear.” He continued explaining the legends of Luhua Pool while your mind drifts somewhere.

‘Can I drink the water? It probably taste so good knowing it’s full of minerals.’

You two stayed there for an hour before deciding to continue your travels.

It went on and on like that until you arrived at your last stop for today, Guyun Stone Forest.

The sun was already setting when you arrived there. Exhaustion filled you but the breath taking scenery before you made all that fade away.

“So this is Guyun Stone Forest, huh?”

“Indeed, Would you hear why the stones are are formed like that?” You continued staring at the scenery and nodded.

“Go on.”

As he spoke, you glanced at him rambling about the history of the place. You seem to can’t take your eyes off him, the beam of sun glimmer on him, making him shine like gold in your view.

For a moment, you forgot about the breath taking scenery where you are. Because right now, infront of you, this man is making you fall to your death only to take you back to life whenever he sets his amber eyes on you.

A skip of a heart beat, a glimer of eyes, a strung on heart strings, a butterfly in stomach, a taste of heaven, a blossom of flowers, a whisper of love. You feel it all, just by looking at him. He pass and spreads on your mind and body and soul, a folklore.

‘Yeah, what is this. . .’

“Hey, what's your name? I feel like mister gold is an old a nickname anymore.” He stopped talking to look at you, you swore he brought life to you the moment he laid his eyes on you after dying from his beauty.

“Well i am–”

‘Just a second, she doesn't know i am Rex Lapis yet.’

You patiently waited for him to say his name. He sighed and continued.

“– nameless.”

“Huh?” You furrowed your eyebrows.

“I am nameless, I don't have a name.”

“What? How is that? Then what do people call you?” Confusion painted your face.

“It's. . . anything, they call me anything they want since i am– well. . .nameless.”

“Odd, how is that even possible.” You muttered. You stared into nothing until an idea come to you that removed the cease in your eyebrows.

“Ah ha! I'll give you a name instead since you don't have one!” You grin at him. Its his now turn to furrow eyebrows.

“Give me. . .a name?”

“Yup! yup! I'll make you one so i don't have to call you mister gold anymore.”

“What will you call me then?” He asked her, looking forward to his name created by you.

“Well, let's see,” You put you hand under your chin, thinking of a name for him.

your country had gone into lockdown recently

and your friend group had been video chatting daily

sometimes even playing games together or watching movies

games like among us, jackbox, cards against humanity, uno online

one among us game, your group needed one more person to play

so one of your friends asked their friend jacob if he wanted to join

and he agreed

so he was added to the group chat

from then on he was a loyal member of your friend group

he messaged every day, always joined the video calls & gaming sessions

he brought such good energy and positive vibes to your group

so of course everyone liked him a lot from the get go

and he quickly found a permanent place in the group

a few weeks pass by

and your group had plans to video call & watch a horror movie together at 8pm

but when you entered the discord call, jacob was the only one there

you enter the voice chat and ask him where everyone else is

“i have no idea, i’m just playing genshin and waiting for everyone”

you waited for quite a while before your friends finally replied to your message

one saying that they actually can’t watch tonight

one friend forgot about it

and everyone just decided to cancel the plans

while you were disappointed, you ended up just staying on call with jacob all night

you really connected

becoming super close from that moment on

calling almost every day

and at the very least dming each other every day

nearly 24/7

you quickly developed a crush

falling for him very hard

this made your heart drop, making you stop laughing as you become nauseous

then you just left the call without saying a word

you didn’t know what to do

you saw a message notif come up in your dms

your heart stopped

you scroll through the rest of your messages trying to avoid his

you forget and acidentally click on the message notif, flinching out of anxiety

your heart is racing

after just staring at the message for what must’ve been a minute he starts typing again

your brain screams at you to leave the chat but you can’t

he keeps stopping and starting again

making your anxiety spike and your mind run rampant

when he finally sends it, it’s a whole paragraph but you read it all at 10x speed

all you process is the last sentence

“i really like you and if you would allow me to, i’d like to be in a romantic relationship with you - we can take it slow of course”

you didn’t know what to say, part of you is saying no because you’re so afraid to ruin the friendship

but most of you is saying yes

you don’t want to regret this like every other chance you missed in life because of fear

Childe: First Kiss HCs

Childe was never one to shy away from affection, be it holding your hand in his or wrapping an arm around you, he was always happy to be close to you. He was always a bit territorial which lead to some embarrassing situations for you but it was from a good place in his heart. But when it came to public kisses, he preferred to keep it between you two. It felt too private of a moment that he didn’t want to broadcast to the rest of the Fatui, especially to the other Harbingers. That is to say, if he actually kissed you in the first place. For all the two braincells Childe had, one was fighting and the other was protecting his loved ones, just imagining kissing you was too much for him and he needed to go find some poor recruit and beat his inner problems out. The Fatui recruitment process would always dwindled down during his inner turmoil sessions that Scaramouche himself, had to throw his goddamn hat at Tartaglia, and yell at him to hurry up and fix his problem. It was clogging up the air. 

When he tried to think about it, it shouldn’t be this hard to simply lean in for a kiss. But it was his first and while Childe might run into whatever danger or prospect of a fight without a second thought, he didn’t want to ruin it. What if he accidently bonked his forehead with yours? He should remove his mask then right? Just in case? He’s only given forehead and cheek kisses to his younger siblings so it should be the same right? Yeah he could do this, this was just another battle for Tartaglia to conquer! 

But whenever he would see you or you would both sit and bask in each other’s presences. He couldn’t bring himself to initiate something or heck, even looking at your face made him a bit hot under the collar in sub-zero temperatures. He can almost hear Scaramouche and Signora laughing maniacally at him behind their hands. He’s the youngest of the Harbingers, he should get a “get out of jail for free” card that all youngest children have whenever they get into trouble. But in this case it’s murder. He quickly slaps his cheeks to get his mind off fighting for one second which startles you beside him. 

The first time you’ve seen Childe shy was when he first confessed to you, stuttering that he liked you and just really badly wanted to hold your hand without using the frost of Sneznaya as an excuse. You flushed pink but nodded that you returned his feeling and slipped your hand in his. Whatever shyness Childe had was quickly wiped off his face and he cheered and brought you in for an eskimo kiss. Rubbing your nose with his as he laughed in joy, the tips of his ears and cheeks still coloured pink. You always hold that memory dear to your heart because not only was it the start of your relationship, it was the first time you felt you were staring at Ajax. Not Childe. Not Tartaglia. Just Ajax. 

But now, you’re not to sure what to call this. Lately he seemed to be out of it, always staring off into space or frowning at some poor poor snowmen that did not deserve that much pressure.  Was being a harbinger starting to take it’s toll on him? Did something terrible happen to his family or was the Tsaritsa being too hard on him? You were beginning to get concerned because you’ve never seen this much mental turmoil in him. This never really happened before and he usually bounced back pretty fast. Would it be better if you left him be and he sorted it out himself? Would it be better if you asked? 

Childe is startled out of his thoughts of possible committed murder because he’s too scared to ask his own partner if kissing was something they could do, when he felt your hand slowly nudge his. No matter how many times he holds your hand, you’re always warm. It could be snow storming outside and the only heater he would need would be you. He offers a small but warm smile as he laces his fingers with yours. He remembers when you first started going out he was so scared about boundaries and what was okay. Brushing your fingers together and overall, not doing a good job at saying he wanted to hold hands that even he cringes slightly at his younger self - even though it wasn’t that long ago and he’s doing it again just with kisses - but now he borderline clings to you like some overgrown animal. Scaramouche’s words, not his. 

It’s still evening in Snezhnaya and the Tsaritsa herself seems to be taking a vacation because there’s only a light snow falling down between the two of you. You’re both sitting outside his house while his family is inside, warm and having fun playing games. He breathes in, closes his eyes, and let’s the world fade away just a second. He slowly brings his other hand to cup your cheek, his hands are always numb and the tiny pin pricks are dancing on his fingers again before they fade away too, and guides you towards him so he can place a small kiss on your fore head. Then tilts your face to the side so he can kiss your cheek. Brings his nose near yours to nuzzle against. Then hesitates when his lips hover above yours. 

“Ajax is there something bothering you?” you ask softly, you’re so close to each other that all you can see is him. The small puffs of breathe you both take bounce off each other’s face before evaporating into the air. You never really took the time to appreciate Ajax’s bright blue eyes. His pupil from this distance seems to be slitted too. 

“Hm? Ah no, of course not. Where did you get that idea?” he tries to laugh it off and tries to move back before you quickly bring your hand to the back of his head and nudge him forward so he stays in place. It wasn’t like him to run away from something, it was really starting to bother you what could get Ajax of all people to retreat from something. 

“You know if there’s anything that’s bothering you, you can talk to me right?” you asked as you brought both your hands to cup his face as you softly rubbed circles just under his ear. He closed his eyes and hmmed happily at your actions and nuzzled further into your hand before turning his head inward to kiss your palm. Before relaxing and parting his eyelids half way as he seemed to be back in concentration mode. Before awkwardly saying what was troubling him these past few days. 

“So wait, you mean to tell me that this entire time I was worried about you. How out of it you were and how many fights you’ve been getting into. Was because you wanted a kiss?” you asked dumfounded as he pouted but nodded. You sighed but bonked your foreheads together softly, “You’re such an idiot....C’mere.” 

“Wha-” 

You grab the scarf on his harbinger uniform and tug him forward as your lips slot over his. You kiss him hard and for a few seconds as Ajax just stares at you as his brain tries to catch up, before his eyes seem to dilate and he kisses you back just as hard. All his past worries are quickly thrown out the window as slowly pushes you on your back, cushioned by the soft snow, as he basks in the feeling. It’s a bit sloppy given this is both your first kisses but that’s what adds to the charm. You both have to separate at some point for oxygen but Childe looks like he’s ready to dive in again. 

“One more,” he pants as he goes in for another but you quickly place your hand in the way so he ends up kissing your palm. He whines but you chuckle at him, place a small kiss on the back of your palm of where his lips would be, and push him off you. You’re both still outside his families home and you aren’t in the mood to be caught in this kind of position. Especially not in front of his younger siblings. He rests his cheek on your shoulder and looks at you, trying to make his eyes bigger and look like a kicked puppy. You sigh as you give a small pet on his head, running your fingers through your hair. What a troublesome partner you’ve gotten. 

“Alright, one more.”

The highest con of bennett he had ever gotten is probably c1. One day the paimon's bargain shop offered bennett as their monthly character. Kyojuro had never been so excited over a game before. He usually perks up over academics and not this kind of thing. But it's bennett, the character he admires the most.

Unfortunately he couldnt get it due to low currency. He had never feel so sad in his life.

Carefully reads every stories and listens to their lines attentively. He finds it amazing how the company spent their everything on this game. It amazes him. From the stories, lores and lines, he truly appreciates it.

Balance his team pretty well. He mains bennett so he doesnt need that much of a healer in his team.

Enjoys bennett's hangout very much!! He tried to not get him killed by the dungeon's trap but ended up having to sacrifice him which ultimately ends the route. He had never felt so down and guilty before.

Not much of a damage dealer. He prefers to play it in normal mode and doesnt care that much about one shotting monster.

He feeds his character three meals a day!! If only there's a sleep option, he would be sending bennett to sleep first before the rest.

Everyone loves his teapot

Shinobu : found the game while she's scrolling through the app store out of boredom. Initially she played it on her phone but due to the fps and a really bad ping, so bad that douma wouldnt find her interesting anymore, she finally downloaded the game on her pc where things has starting to get real

My man cant dodge after he got zhongli. Its very painful because he used to studies the enemies movement in the early game so that he can utilizes it on the team but zhongli's shield is so tank he forgot that dodging exists

Doesnt do character's story quest. The key is full every single time. He unlocks it but leaves the quest like that.

His friend list only has obanai in it. Whenever people sent him friend request, he wouldnt hesitate, more like wouldnt care to accept it

They either have to coop in obanai's world or his world and after that, unfriend immediately

Tengen : played since 1.0 this madlad has been staying loyal to the game ever since. Quite huge amount of money he spend on this game to be honest but he never gets broke by it. You can see his regular donation to the game by purchasing welkin and battle pass and some genesis crystal too. He's loaded with money, he didnt know what to do with it.

Uzui also plays honkai impact and guns girl Z so when he saw the unknown god at the intro , he was not surprised.

you’re right, i think you totally deserve the break. it’s totally fine. in my experience, the people around me told me to take my time when i legitimately couldn’t even pick up a pen to finish my stuff. it’s weird bc that’s the first time it ever happened to me but my profs were very forgiving and told me i should take a break if i need one.

i didnt go on tumblr for like,, majority of yesterday so i only saw your asks now. i was acc playing genshin bc this is the first time im not behind on schoolwork. i’m making a ghibli themed teapot and so far, the first part’s like 45% done. ….why do i like making myself suffer?

(same genshin anon from yesterday) yes keqing! my first 5 star character. got her from xiao's banner. she's super fun to play. her skill is quite handy to use. im trying to get mona up - i think she'll fit into a team i want to try. plus her personality is fun. THOSE MUSHROOMS. AWFUL. sucrose is fun. her skill and burst are nice but idk she just doesn't ever fit *right* so i don't use her much. yes, your love of zhongli is so fun to me (1/4 oopsies)

(2/4) i wasn't playing genshin back when his banner was out, but it was so fun watching you talk about him all the time. hope they rerun his banner sometime soon (but i doubt it since it wasn't too long ago). I AM SO SICK OF ALL THE XIANGLINGS. i just want xingqui and chongyun from the banner ugh. yeah i would recommend the spiral abyss. you get a nice chunk of primos and if you haven't done it in a while i'm sure you can sweep the first few floors. xiao = win win win

(3/4) i do try to have decent stats. just shove together the characters i like and find decent artifacts and make it work lol. AH the friendships.. that takes so long lol. ive got xiao, keqing, and barbara at 5 and the rest are much lower. and thanks! i am so loving hu tao so far! she's... not quite up to level with anyone else i use yet but we're getting there. she does decent enough that i keep her on my team lol. ooo a claymore team sounds fun!

(4/4) i do quite enjoy the claymores. i think i prefer the polearms a bit better though (rip we need more polearm users). and yeah ): wish there was a bit better way to farm exp. idk the resin system is... alright... wish it was a bit better though. i feel like i can never get done what i want. like i constantly have to choose if i want to farm like weapon materials or talent materials or whatever. and like same diona and xinyan are my only decent shields :/ and yeah the oceanid is.. something..

LMAO those mushrooms really were a pain i remember just going back and forth between mondtstadt, that other nearby town i’m forgetting the name of, and the dawn winery just scaling every fucking wall possible it was truly annoying and coupled with the fact that she’s hydro so you have to fight the oceanid to level her up really makes mona a true pain to level up jfaldkjfds

tbh idk a lot about sucrose i think most people use her as like an anemo battery? and she’s useful with characters like xiao who do better when all the enemies are centralized which is why i kinda want her lmao. but yeah her never “fitting right” is mona for me lmaooo

yeah i think it’ll be a while until we get zhongli back :( the only other character i really wanna pull is scaramouche IF he’s even playable lmao he’s gonna be so far fucking out. i think rosaria is coming out soon but it looks like she’s only a 4-star so idk who our next 5-star is looking to be. and xingqiu x chongyun really the dream team LMAO frozen smashing for days

hahaha xiao = win win win is so true... i think i’m like at stage 5 or 6 or whatever but with xiao i definitely feel like i can get further fjkldaj the main problem was like i never had a good second team but i’ve leveled up enough other characters i can probably tackle it now

the friendships really do take FOREVER lmao like fischl was literally the FIRST character i pulled so the fact she only recently got all the way up to 10 friendship ajfdklafj and yayay glad to hear you’re enjoying hu tao!!

yeah and along with lack of polearm users there also doesn’t seem to be many good polearm weapons?? idk i feel like i have so many claymores jfadlkjfdas. also i just looked up there are literally only 4 polearm characters right now holy shit that’s so sad ;___;

and same about the experience, you barely get shit from battling so you can really only level up with those book/note things idr what they’re actually called and they’re SO hard to mine. and then there’s all the talents and shit.... sigh lmao. genshin really makes you schedule and portion your resin lmao

i think my only kind of okay shield is noelle because i used her really early on but i ditched her pretty early when i get new characters jkaldsf
