january 29 '51 - harry is assigned the two drunks case

february 4 '51 - soona arrives at the church

sunday march 4 '51, 23:30-00:15 - lely is killed

thursday march 8 '51, past midnight - klaasje calls the rcm to report the body

friday march 9 '51 - harry arrives in martinaise

afternoon - ruby flees martinaise to the fishing village to hide from harry

night - harry tells people about the investigation and shows everyone his gun

saturday march 10 '51, night - harry crashes his coupris and parties all night with the union of moribund alcoholics

am i the only one who really hopes that the fear hole didn’t actually single-handedly remove mortys fear of rick not caring about him. like that’s one of the fundamental Big Things of their friendship, their fears related to eachother and how things like the other not being impressed by them is both of their worst fear, and just how mutual that is, like maybe it’s messed up but i just dont want that gone. especially not in a way like this where nothing technically actually happened between morty and rick to make this monumental of a change and growth happen

still hilarious to me that tang bo was to the tang family as chung myung was to mount hua, disturbance wise.. rambunctious trouble maker his whole life completely without chung myungs influence, which makes it even funnier cuz at least chung myung sort of had free range to get away with whatever he wanted w leniency whereas tang bo was the main line son of an illustrious closed off family sect and was expected to be a proper and filial young master

↳AKA where I try to build good writing habits by challenging myself to write a minimum of 30 minutes a day

this week’s progress: 2,220 words written this week/ 11,919 words written this year / overall draft word count is 22,227

I have definitely written myself into a corner this week. What I thought was a shortcut for me to avoid writing travel scenes ended up not working and now I'm stuck having to write a more complicated travel scene. In other news: the Raian pantheon may be confirmed real, and Fenice found out because I gave her another near-death experience.

This week’s excerpt of When Comes the Dawn

“Why do you kneel?” said one, said all. Fenice looked up, and there nose-to-nose, was the Golden-Faced Lady. Her face was more mask than it was a face, each expression painstakingly carved into the gilded flesh until it was set, unmoving and unyielding. Golden hair frames her face, impossibly long as it stretches outward, curling at Fenice’s feet and caressing her cheek. Soft, like a mother’s touch. “I give my obeisances to the Primordial Three, Gilded Mother.”
