THE GREAT WAR
kacey dutton x fem! reader
summary: kacey always told y/n he only had eyes for her so what happens when he comes to the ranch only to announce he got another girl pregnant?
warnings: angsty, not very happy ending?, not kayce endgame sorry ://, ab4se, and john dutton
i'm not a huge fan of this lmao but enjoy ig
i also just realized i spelt kayce wrong but i'm too lazy to fix it sorry 😞
masterlist
Tumblr media
Y/n and Kacey had gotten into a fight which caused Kacey to storm out.
He was gone for exactly 2 weeks before he arrived back home. Y/n had just gotten back from riding around the mountains.
"Kacey!" She jumped off the horse and bolted for him. She jumped onto him and held him close to her but was quick to notice that he didn't return the hug.
"Are you ok?" She questioned running a hand down his chest. His eyes softened.
"We need to talk." He said as Y/n furrowed her brows. The two walked into the house since no one was currently home.
Somewhere in the haze, got a sense I'd been betrayed
"Darling, I'm sorry." He said as she shook her head and paced.
"You slept with another girl, got her pregnant, and all you can say is sorry!" Y/n screamed as tears pricked her eyes.
"I was upset about our fight so I got drunk and it just happened." Kacey explained but Y/n was already upset.
"Fuck that! I cried about you! I was worried about you and where were you? Fucking another girl!" She yelled as John and Beth walked in.
"Who got who pregnant?" John asked taking his hat and coat off.
"Your son, sir." Y/n said calmly while crossing her arms. John thought of Y/n as one of his daughters since he was best friends with her Dad before he passed.
John didn't say anything. He walked up to Kacey and punched him square in the face. Y/n looked down and grimaced. It wasn't unusual for John to hit his sons and she knew better then to interfere.
"You know better, Kacey. Get out!" John yelled and Kacey scrambled to his feet before running out.
"I'm sorry, dear." He said placing a kiss on her forehead before walking upstairs. Beth was long gone probably with Rip so it was just her.
She walked outside to see if Kacey had left. He hadn't. He was sitting on the porch with his heads in his hands.
"I'm sorry. I didn't think he would hit you." She said sitting next to him.
"It's not your fault. I'm gonna go. He doesn't want me here and I don't think you do either." He said standing, hoping that Y/n would argue and say she wanted him there.
She stood and walked back into the house.
That was the night I nearly lost you, I really thought I lost you
Years later...
Kacey never thought he would see Y/n so when he saw her attempting to train the horse he found, he was shocked.
"Fuck." He mumbled seeing her fall off the horse. He ran to her, with Tate following, as she layed in the same spot.
She was fine. She justed wanted to take a break for a second.
"You ok?" She heard from a voice she knew all to well.
"Peachy." She said sitting up. She got back on the horse and started slow. She didn't notice the kid with him.
"What are you doing here?" Y/n asked as she went in circles slowly.
"Came to see my dad, have you seen him?" She laughed.
"He's probably in the house." She said leading the horse to the barn. She jumped off and took the saddle off the horse. She turned around and saw Kacey with his son.
"You must be Tate." She said bending down to his height as the boy nodded shyly.
"I'm Y/n." She said tipping her hat in his direction.
"You look like you would make a fine cowboy." She said standing up.
"I'm an Indian." He said and she raised a brow.
"Cute kid." She said directed to Kacey who looked down.
"Y/n!" Someone called as they walked out of the barn. Ryan turned the corner with a smile.
"The boys are wondering if you wanted to play poker with us." Ryan asked with a smile which made her smile.
"I would love to but Lee asked if I could go riding with him, Jamie, and John. But I'll swing by later and kick all of your asses." She said crossung her arms. Ryan shook his head with a smile before running back to the bunks.
"You and Ryan?" Kacey asked as she shrugged.
"Fuck no. He's my best friend." She said as the three walked back to the house.
"Monica left me." He said walking towards the bunks.
"You must be husband of the year." Y/n said walking next to him.
"I wasn't boyfriend of the year either." He said as she laughed lightly.
"You sure as hell weren't." She said as the two reached the Bunkhouse.
"Well, goodnight, Kayce." She said turning to walk away.
Kayce wanted nothing more then to kiss her but he couldn't. She wasn't his anymore. She was her own person.
She wasn't his girl.

Oh ooohhh I don’t know if anyone asked this but a kokomi reader with diasomina (I probably spelt that wrong)
OOOOO omg this is going to be interesting ueueu lets go feesh 🐠
diasomnia with a sangonomiya kokomi-like gender neutral reader!
the mysterious divine priest of a faraway island and serve as their supreme leader. well-versed in the art of war and good at strategizing with a keen insights into military affairs
Tumblr media
: ̗̀➛ malleus draconia
"lilia did i forgot something today?"
"huh? as far as this one knows you didn't missed anyth-"
"oh tsunotarou! how are you doing?" the moment you appeared, lilia could only let out a chuckle seeing how malleus' face suddenly glow up.
if words would describe you and malleus, it would be serene and wholesome duo.
the fae always appreciate how you manage to invite him to the meetings and event that you are going to ahead of time knowing how other people except the diasomnia squad forget to send out his invitation.
like you two would even be the first ones to arrive surprising everyone insert a smiley malleus
being the diasomnia dorm leader and the divine priest - you both know the feeling of being approached by people during special events where you need to socialize with people
"do you just feel like sometimes socializing with people in such events is so tiring but you need to do it in order to gain their trust? whenever i feel my energy depletes, i tend to hide it from the others because i don't want them to see their leader at that state."
"mmm i do feel like socializing is hard but that is because most of the people are already scared of me. if you are ever feeling down - i am always be around to talk and be a shoulder to rest on beastie."
very interested in your stories!
talking about your ancestors? he will take this story to his grave. sharing your favorite books with malleus? he would even join your endeavors in creating your own book!
"should i give them a heartbreaking scene here?"
"if you want to, then go. love knows no bounds and i am pretty sure your characters will find their happiness together."
your number one book enthusiast and proof reader, at times whenever you two hang out under the night sky - you would exchange ideas and play on his tamagotchi + laying his head on your lap and taking a nap
"did you know that your friend helped me to fix gao gao drakon-kun?"
"oh deuce told me, and he said you really look happy."
"because i want to play with you while being in your company..." 🥺
Tumblr media
: ̗̀➛ lilia vanrouge
" such fortunate weather... care for a walk, lilia?"
"i could never sneak upon you can i, little bat?"
never in his life had lilia failed to sneak upon a person and scare them but then you came in, always prepared and even offering him to hang out with you
if you feel like you need to shoulder everything back in your world, this fae would always help you out even if you are just having a problem what to eat for breakfast
"lia? should i make scrambled eggs for breakfast or go for cereal?"
"what about you try my cooking-"
"scramble eggs it is!"
you learn not to let him in your kitchen through the hard way 😅
to his surprise, you led your troops against one of the archons in your world! goodness, you have his applause because you held your ground against your nation's god
there would be times that you two would go to the library and discuss about the past wars that happened in twisted wonderland - giving takes on both sides
"... if they didn't pursue the opposite side first they could've won."
plus knowing that you also love and very much interested in military treatises? grouping the two of you together is never a good idea
"take heart, victory will be ours. i'll be taking it away from you lia."
"oho? not if i could help it little bat."
lilia sees you as one of his own 😭 always dropping by with sweets in hand and shares it with you and always singing you a lullaby whenever your energy reached rock bottom
"lia why are you treating me so nicely?" "i don't want you to feel like pressured in an unknown world, i am always here to help you little bat."
and the best dad of the year goes to lilia vanrouge real not clickbait!
Tumblr media
: ̗̀➛ silver
silver never met someone as hardworking as you are.
like before he could even go to sleep, silver would spot you trying to prevent your friends from doing something stupid and by the time he open his eyes, you would be right by his side reading your history book given by mr. trein
"to survive hardship, you must prepare for hardship."
"(name)? what are you doing, have you already rested?"
"oh silver! i was just reading this book and its night already? time seems to slip away when i'm with you."
knowing how animals are somehow drawn to him - sometimes whenever you let out your jellyfishes and little fishies, they would automatically go to silver who in return would laugh because the creatures keep pecking him all over his face
the second year never would have thought that you are also used to being in the battlefield despite being a divine priest
"i never would've thought you were the brain and heart of your troops, but it makes sense though."
"makes sense?"
"you are the smartest and the most strong willed person that i know of."
has high respect for you because not only you are always prepared for any occasion but also how you have proper control over your powers
certainly twisted wonderland only has a few people who can use their power to heal and attack at the same time.
there are times that you would just sit beside the sleeping silver to watch over him and his little animal friends, feeling very relax at his company
one time he woke up to you squealing because of a certain scene in your favorite series
"oh my gosh are they going to be together in the next chapter?!"
"what are you reading?"
"that scared me!"
and that was the first time he saw you very surprised that made him laugh for a few minutes which resulted to you also laughing
overall, silver was very glad he got to have a friend like you wherein even though he sometimes fall asleep in the middle of your discussion - you don't mind it at all and even let him sleep on your shoulder and hang out with him in silence
Tumblr media
: ̗̀➛ sebek zigvolt
"beastie? why did you stop walking?"
"i can sense my 'sebek-radar- tingling, he is just nearby."
"waka-samaaaaa!"
"oh my. are you a fortune teller?"
sebek always see you being friendly with his seniors, making him wonder and also want to get close to you even though you are human
his opinion about you got better when one time he start talking to the first year squad about how great malleus is making them all go back to what they are doing except for you
“there’s no point in training without a reason. it’s important to me that i gain power to protect the young master.”
"you told us that for the 19th time sebek."
"it's fun listening to him though, it feels like i am learning more about tsunotarou."
"prefect gets me! expected of malleus-sama's friend!"
you always listen to his stories and sometimes you share yours too! after gradually knowing each other through that exchange, the first year slowly becomes polite towards you
how could he not?! you are such an amazing person in his opinion and also so kind, always ready to listen to him that was the reason why he goes to you for some advise
"divine priest!"
"no need to call me that sebek, we are friends! you can just call me (name) or (nickname)."
while you always help him whenever he is having trouble in art class, sebek would help you learn how to ride horses in return in which he is very good at!
but horses are scared of him for some reason so it took a while for you guys to practice horseback riding.
your calm aura and his feisty nature really balance each other out that is why everyone especially the diasomnia group could see how his hot-blooded nature tone down a little and his view on humans somehow changed
very grateful that you never once shown discomfort in his company and even enjoy his remarks it was like having another true friend in his life and sebek would never not be proud being by your side as your friend and number one supporter
HAPPY PRIDE MONTH EVERYONE HEHE 🏳️‍🌈 sorry if i haven't been active lately i've been catching up on tgcf and i am currently on book 5 🥲 but anyways i hope you enjoyed <3

I’m not the type of guy to ship people in shows, but I’m just saying that if Loki and Mobius were male and female, they DEFINITELY would be dating by now. They touch almost constantly, they support eachother, have healthy conversations, today Loki literally fixed his hair and suit before going over to speak to him, he was all chivalrous in helping Mobius out of the portal (if I can be bothered I’ll make a gif of it). They have WAY more chemistry than Loki and Sylvie ever did.
You could argue “yeah, but can’t two guys just be friends?” And yeah, sure, but Disney or whoever then can’t try to force Loki and Sylvie into being romantic when there is a much healthier option right there. Tbh one of the reasons I ship Loki and Mobius is out of spite for Loki and Sylvie. I’d honestly prefer if Loki got with no one than the writers forcing Sylvie as his partner.
There’s nothing wrong with Sylvie on her own (I honestly love her) but she just doesn’t have much chemistry with Loki
Just my opinion though.
(Let me know if I spelt anything wrong I’m too tired to proofread)

Hii! Can you do a matchup for me pls :) I’d prefer it if it were for TWD. I’m straight and my pronouns are she/her. I’m Latina, tall and slim. I’m into older guys (dilfs🤭) and prefer overprotective ones. I’m sort of reserved when I first meet someone but soon open up if they seem trustworthy and/or seem to like me. I also get attached and jealous hella easily. I’m somewhat of a girly girl but wouldn’t mind getting dirty. Love the “he hates everyone but her” trope cuz duh.
Tumblr media
Sorry if I spelt some stuff wrong I’m so tired lol. Also sorry it’s not that long. Thank you for requesting. Request are still open! Send them on in!
Abraham love when you would get jealous. He would eat that shit up. You seen him talking to another girl, just a random girl having a normal platonic conversation. You would kinda get jealous. Or to see him give another woman in the group a little extra attention. He would literally eat it up.
He would love to spend the time patiently trying to get you to open up. It would start with a few jokes here and there. Until it would lead up to him having in depth conversation with you and you him.
He knows that it’s hard to be girly in the post apocalypse life. But he loves to see the way your face lights up when you find a beautiful dress or some nice boots. He likes how your eyes light up when you dress up, fix your hair, and do some light make up. Observing yourself in the mirror that laid against your bedroom wall.
Abraham would do absolutely anything for you! He would die for you. He would kill for you. He would go through hell in back for you. He would go up through shit creek and raising water for you. He would take the chance if being ate by a million flesh eating monsters then have anything happen to you. You are his world, his everything; he has no other point in life but you!
He does have that he doesn’t like anyone but her kinda thing. I mean he’s mean/ sarcastic to everyone but her. He doesn’t give her as much shit as the rest of the group. He definitely is a simp for his lover.

A Love that Defies Fate: Sanemi and Tomioka
Sanemi and Tomioka stood, back to back, facing off against the powerful demon that threatened a village. Sanemi was known for being cold and distant, a stoic warrior who never showed any weakness. But when Tomioka's life was in danger, all that coldness melted away, and Sanemi was transformed into a fierce and protective force of nature.
Tomioka, for his part, was a demon slayer that kept his emotions to him self as to not get attached and get upset when those he cares most about dies. He has proven time and again that he could take down any demon that crossed his path.
But this demon was different. It was faster and stronger than any they had ever faced before, and it seemed to have a psychic sense that allowed it to anticipate their every move.
Sanemi knew that they were in trouble, and he knew that he had to act fast if they were going to have any chance of surviving.
"Tomioka," Sanemi said, his voice low and urgent. "We have to work together. We have to fight as one. We have to trust each other, and we have to believe in each other. We can do this, Tomioka, but we have to do it together."
Tomioka just nodded, his eyes fixed on the demon in front of them. He knew Sanemi was right. They had to act as one if they were going to stand a chance.
The two of them moved in perfect synchronized harmony, fighting the demon with a violence that neither of them had ever felt before. They blocked and dodged, attacked and retreated, always staying one step ahead of their opponent.
And as they fought, something strange happened. They both felt a deep connection to each other, a connection that went beyond friendship and into the realm of something more.
When the battle was finally over, Tomioka and Sanemi stood victorious, the demon defeated and the village saved. But as they stood there, breathing heavily and covered in sweat, they knew that something had changed between them.
They had fought the darkness together and survived. And in the process, they had found something that was greater than friendship.
They had found love.
Authors note: Sorry if this is bad it’s my first Fic. Sorry if any thing is spelt wrong or not written in the correct format it was not proof read. I do hope you enjoyed it

can u tell us more about penne-Capello-cottontail?
Oh sure!!
Penne is the second child of Bruno and Theo in the future! A bit of lore of why she was made but he and my pals were rambling in Vc one night a few months back, I forgot how the convo pop up [I have bad memory wahh,,] but I do remember bringing up something with them having a baby girl and how bruno needs a little bit of joy to have a daughter who has similar enjoyment like he does and looks up to him!
Penne is basically you're bubbly girl who enjoys being around both her parents, mainly bruno since as stated she looks up to him! Heck at times she even worries for him when he's down in the dumps.
She also really enjoys doing girly things like doing fashion stuff, doing tea parties with her other father Theo and her favorite stuff animal boomer the horse! So in a way she gets a mix of spending time with both her parents. The only person she seems to not get along with, even if she tries is her older brother Ricci, but that's a story for another time >:] [I think I spelt it wrong I will double check if did and ill fix it]
Her main favorite thing to do is acting like a cowgirl and dreams to go around the world with a real horse and name like her doll. Let alone she wants to ride along side her father <3. She wants to live the life of exploring the world and who knows, could meet the rkz members that are still working their!

Coral Streaks – Chapter 5
Tumblr media
Synopsis – In which she loves him, but he's utterly, painfully clueless. Awra always believed love should be easy – a beautiful gift from Eywa herself. But when she falls for the oldest Sully, it's a love filled with trial. A tale of coming apart and finding your way back.
Related Warnings: Eventual Smut (Aged Up Characters), Language, Descriptions of assault, Harassment
Characters – Neteyam x Fem Metkayina!reader
Related Tags: Major Angst, Slow-Burn, Friends-To-Lovers, Heartache, Tension, Hurt/Comfort
Notes: Posting this from my Ao3 account, please feel free to head over there to read this story as well! I realised only after being 14 chapters in that I spelt Omatikaya wrong this entire time – my apologies in advance. But please enjoy this story nonetheless!
[Do not interact with this story if you are underage.]
Existence was truly a miserable thing. Awra could testify for sure. She was sure the Great Mother was playing tricks on her to prolong her suffering.
She’d gotten little sleep last night – what with the late hour and the frequent tossing and turning. Every subsequent waking hour was spent ruminating over what happened with Neteyam, upsetting her mood and making her completely disinterested in doing remotely anything around the Ometicayan people. Much to her despair however, she’d forgotten she had agreed to help Tsireya teach the Ometicayans how to freedive near the reef today. Outstanding, she gripes. Another day spent having to dodge and avoid Neteyam always bode well for the day.
When they reached the end of the first circle of corals, Tsireya gestured for the Ometicayans to dive. Out of the corner of her eye, she could feel him; staring intently down at the seabed pondering his next move. She rolled her shoulder out of habit. At least he’s not staring at me. Tsireya dove, followed by Lo’ak, ever eager to impress. Awra turns towards Kiri, who shoots her a small smile before diving forward and swimming after her brother. She pauses, glancing at Neteyam from the corner of her eye. He’s still not moving, eyes transfixed on the water surface. Immediately, she feels an awkward tension in the air.
“Are you just going to ignore me again?”
Awra startles at the sound of his voice, smooth and almost confident in the way it carries across the water. It almost irritates her how he doesn’t sound the least remorseful, and she bites her tongue. At her lack of reply, he sighs her name. “Awra.”
“I have nothing to say to you.” She answers, voice clipped with annoyance. She finally turns to face him, both of them treading water to stay afloat. He’s effortlessly beautiful under the sun, as usual, gazing at her with an unreadable expression.
“Must you make this so difficult? I said I was sorry–”
“Sorry doesn’t cut it, Neteyam. Can’t you get it?” She bites back, baring her teeth. “This isn’t a situation a simply sorry can fix.”
“I don’t like it when you ignore me.” Frustration bleeds into her words, making her throat close up. She’s never seen him angry before, he only ever uses this tone of voice with Lo’akl. “All you do is ignore me. Pretend I’m not there. I don’t understand why.”
Awra groans in irritation. “You don’t understand why? C’mon Neteyam, that’s just playing dumb as this point.” She feels herself getting more agitated in the moment, voice raising in pitch. “I literally kissed you. Kissed you! And you pushed me away.” She trails off, averting her eyes. She hates to admit how much his rejection had stung, how much it had hurt when he’d told her it was a mistake. But she was too proud to tell him.
“Look, I know what I said. I didn’t mean it that way.” He offers placatingly, trying to wade closer. She backs away unconsciously, putting distance between them. His ears turn down, swallowing. “I didn’t mean it that way, Awra. I promise you.”
“Sounded pretty clear to me.”
He clicks his tongue. “I said it was a mistake because it was late, we were tired and alone. I didn’t want us to do something we would regret in the morning.” Awra feels her heart sink even more at that. So typical of Neteyam to be all prudish and responsible at the wrong time. “Do you understand me? Awra?”
“Doesn’t change what you said.” You whisper. “Sounds like you were trying to find a way out. And if that’s what you want, then you don’t have to have this conversation with me right now. I’m telling you I hear you loud and clear Neteyam. I get it.” Her eyes sting, but she refuses to cry. Not in front of him.
“Awra, I–” He pauses, biting his lip; contemplating. “I’m sorry. For saying it was a mistake. It wasn’t, and that’s not what I meant.” She rolls her eyes.
“Sure. Okay.” Awra begins wading back to shore, the urge to run away again stronger than ever. She wades with more intensity than necessary, sending sea water spraying back at the Ometicayan with every stroke of her tail. So maybe she’s upset, he should know.
“Awra please, listen to me.” He pleads, and she can hear him swim after her. She doesn’t stop, wading quickly through the crystalline waters to the shoreline. She hears a splash from behind her, and he grabs her by the arm. She’s yanked backwards from the force, and forced under the water’s surface. All at once, there’s water rushing up her nose and into her mouth, her eyes clamping shut as she flails her arms around for purchase. She feels the vice grip on her arm disappear, and pushes herself upwards for air.
“Shit–!” She hears him panic as she resurfaces, coughing salt water out of her nose. She glares at him, making his ears flatten against his head.
“You really have a knack for getting on my nerves.” She says simply, voice betraying her irritation. “And you never seem to get the hint.”
“Just listen to me, please?” She really didn’t mean to, but she couldn’t help but notice how pretty he looked in the sun – dark blue skin glittering with water droplets. She doesn’t answer, a silent cue for him to continue. He takes a deep breath, a stern look crossing over his features. It’s a look she’d come to associate with Lo’ak, because it’s the expression Neteyam makes when he’s about to chide his younger brother for doing something reckless. Awra scowls at that.
“Don’t patronise me, I’m not–”
“Awra.” The sound of her name makes her stop in her tracks. He doesn’t sound condescending in the least, more tired and wary than anything else. “Listen.” She sulks, but stays silent, childishly avoiding his gaze when he tries to make eye contact. He shakes his head at her, an incredulous smile on his lips at her petulant behaviour.
“I meant it when I said I was sorry for hurting your feelings. It was not my intention. Not in the least.” He starts gently, still holding her arm. “But I was serious when I said I didn’t want us to do something rash that we’d regret in the morning. I have – we have responsibilities, and it wouldn’t be right for us to throw it all away for something we aren’t sure about.”
“I was sure.”
“How can you be certain? You do not know me.” It’s an innocent statement, but it hurts. It hurts because it’s true. The realisation makes her throat close up – and solidifies her worry that this entire roulette they’d been playing was one-sided. She thought about the nights she’d spent sneaking out, loitering precariously around his family’s marui just to make jokes and talk. Had it all been friendly then?
“Look, Awra, I like you. I do, but –” He stops himself, biting his lip.
“But what?” She snaps, making him look up. “If you didn’t want me to kiss you, you shouldn’t have kissed me first. You could have pushed me away, told me to go away, hell anything. But you– you just let me kiss you. I let you touch me, Neteyam. I guess I just thought–” Her voice cracks, and she curses her voice for wobbling. She dares to look up at his face, just to see his reaction. He’s looking at her with almost pity, eyebrows furrowed in the middle as he bobs up and down on the surface of the water.
It’s silent, suffocatingly so. She can’t stop the tears from escaping her eyes, clearing her throat and swiping at her face. Anything is better than having Neteyam feel sorry for her. Eywa forbid. She didn’t need his affection, nor his attention nor his pity. No, he could keep that to himself.
“Hey guys! You coming or what?” She’s snapped out of her reverie by Lo’ak’s voice. She didn’t notice him coming up for air, but he’s waving at her and Neteyam. “Bro get over here! I wanna show you this cool new trick Tsireya showed me!” Neteyam just gives his brother a thumbs up, but looks on with worry as Awra wipes at her eyes.
“Awra–”
“Coming!” She shouts, cutting him off. She didn’t want or need to hear anything more the Ometicayan had to say. She didn’t want anyone else catching on either. As she dove into the water, she could feel him there, behind her. Almost following her with each stroke discreetly as he could. She blew bubbles in annoyance, using her tail to speed up, cruising through the water until she reached the first cluster of brightly coloured corals on the seabed.
At this time of day, aquatic life was vibrant – and the corals were full of fish and other sea critters. Oranges and purples bled together in the clear water, and seaweed tickled at their toes as they dove for seashells. She could see her sister off to a corner of the reef foraging for a special kind of rock, probably to give to Lo’ak. She couldn’t help but smile. The younger Ometicayan was a troublemaker, but at least he didn’t kiss girls then claim it was a mistake. She rolled her eyes when Neteyam appeared beside her, holding onto a piece of coral for leverage under the water.
Leave me alone, she signed angrily. He shook his head, cheeks puffed out comically as he held his breath.
Can we just talk about this please? He signs back. She shakes her head, blowing bubbles in his direction as she swims towards Tsireya. Her sister notices her, cocking her head in confusion at the frown that is surely still on her face.
Are you okay? Tsireya asks, signing quickly as she looks on in worry. You look upset.
Awra shrugs, sighing and letting out another stream of bubbles which float to the surface. She gestures to Neteyam, who is still hovering behind them at a cluster of corals hesitantly. She can see him watching her and Tsireya, but doesn’t make any move to swim over. He doesn’t look remorseful or angry – just confused. Awra tears her eyes away from him, looking at her sister and signing, meet me at the surface. Tsireya nods, carefully stowing away a smooth, flat stone she’d collected into her shoulder sling before pushing off the seabed. Awra does the same, using her arms to make large strokes to carry her up to the water’s surface quickly.
She breathes in, the air clean and salty as she inhales. Tsireya surfaces next to her, shaking the water droplets out of her hair. “What’s wrong sister? I haven’t seen you this upset in a long time.”
“It’s Neteyam.” Awra admits, albeit a little worried. Tsireya’s eyebrows raise, but she says nothing. “Something happened yesterday, and it’s just–”
“You didn’t mate with him, did you?” Tsireya interjects, voice dropping to a sharp whisper.
“No!” You shriek. “Of course not. I’m not stupid enough to do that.” Tsireya looks relieved, shoulders slumping Awra’s response.
“Thank the Great Mother.” Tsireya sighs in relief, hand resting over her heart. “Eywa knows what mother and father would do if you had.”
You huff. “Yeah, I’m well aware of their expectations.” Awra bites out scornfully. Tsireya places a comforting hand on Awra’s shoulder, swimming up next to her sister.
“Then what’s wrong, Awra? You guys seemed to be getting along so well.”
“Yeah, that’s what I thought too. But I’ve been wrong all along it seems.” Awra huffs. Around them the waves move gently, rocking their bodies gently. Tsireya urges her to continue, rubbing soothing circles into her arm.
“We–we kissed, last night.” Tsireya gasps at that, hand coming up to cover her mouth in shock. “Yeah, I know I know. But he kissed me first, and I just thought that maybe it meant he liked me. Y’know? So I went along with it.”
Tsireya frowns, worry all over her gentle features. “Sister–”
“But I was wrong okay? He kissed me, and I kissed him back and he told me it was a mistake.” Awra rambles, facing away from her sister. “I–” She hesitates, biting her lip. “I let him touch me Tsireya. I let him touch me, and he told me he didn’t mean for it to happen.”
Tsireya’s frown deepens, and her grip on Awra’s shoulder tightens. Her sister looks sad and worried all at once, lines marring her features as she takes in Awra’s slumped shoulders and defeated expression.
“I don’t know what to do now sister. I thought after he kissed me that maybe he liked me back. But it appears I have been delusional all this while.” You mumble dejectedly. “It hurts. I try to ignore it, and pretend I don’t care but I can’t. It hurts, and it burns in my chest and it’s all I can think about whenever I see him.”
Tsireya’s eyes dart around, trying to find something to say but nothing comes. All that she can do is hold on to Awra tightly.
Awra sniffles, clearing her throat. “He tried to talk to me, just now, when we were diving. I couldn’t get him to leave me alone. Everytime he talks to me, or looks at me, I feel breathless like I’ve been underwater for days. Everytime I see him, I feel like I’ve resurfaced for air. But it pains me knowing he doesn’t feel the same. And maybe, deep down, I don’t want to make up and play nice because I want him to hurt. I want him to know how this feels.” At that admission, she lets a tear slip, and she feels it run molten down her cheek. She doesn’t try to hide it, and Tsireya gently rubs it away with the pad of her thumb.
Awra looks up at her sister, large aquamarine eyes clouded with worry and sadness. “I’m sorry, Awra. You should have told me sooner. I didn’t know you were in so much sadness alone.” At that her sister wraps her in a hug, and Awra buries her face in her sister’s neck. They’re treading water on the water’s surface so it’s awkward, but it feels good to finally have some comfort. Awra feels herself melt into Tsireya’s embrace, more tears rushing to her eyes. She hears Lo’ak’s voice in the distance, accompanied by Kiri’s nagging and Tuk shouting. If she strains her ears, she can just about make out the sound of Neteyam’s quiet nagging as he asks his siblings to quiet down. She hides her face, not wanting the Ometicayans to see her cry.
“Tsireya, Awra! Are you guys coming? We’re going to check out the sea pools!” Come Kiri’s voice, lilting over the sound of the waves.
“Yeah!” Comes Tuk’s excited shout. “Kiri and I are going to look for special stones to put in my hair!”
“Later you guys! Why don’t you go ahead first, Awra and I will catch up!” Tsireya answers, gently pulling Awra towards the shore on the other end of the sea pools.
“Are you sure!” Lo’ak chimes in, waving from atop his ilu. “We’ll see you guys there right?”
“Yes, don’t worry! Go ahead!” Tsireya waves the Ometicayans goodbye, before checking on Awra. Awra wipes the tears from her cheeks, letting her sister guide her towards a rocky part of the shoreline.
“Did he go with them?” She asks, voice raspy. Tsireya just nods.
“He’s really sweet to you.” Awra says with a watery chuckle. “Lo’ak.”
Tsireya turns purple at that, a flush rising to her cheeks. “Oh, well, yes. He is.” She says, a shy smile on her lips. They settle comfortably on the rocks, tails curled behind them as they watch the water glitter under the sun’s rays.
“I really like him, ‘reya.” Awra admits quietly, gazing down at her hands. Four fingers, and a thumb. “I like him a lot. More than I care to admit.”
Tsireya giggles, hand coming up to cover her mouth as she does so. Awra can’t help the smile that rises at the sound of her sister’s infectious laughter. “What’s so funny!”
“Nothing sister, it’s nothing.” Tsireya teases, dimples showing. “It’s just that, I’ve not heard you sound so in love since well, y’know.”
Awra smiles shyly in return. “Yeah, I guess you’re right. It has been a while hasn’t it.”
Tsireya nods, grabbing Awra’s hands and interlacing their fingers. “Listen here sister, you should go and tell Neteyam how you feel.”
Awra shakes her head fervently. “You don’t understand ‘reya. I already did. Or is kissing someone not enough of a declaration of feelings. How obvious do I have to be?” Tsireya just shakes her head again, smiling at her sister.
“You do not understand the way of men, sister. They are,” she thinks of the next word slowly, “slow.”
“Slow? What do you mean slow. Neteyam is like, the smartest Na’vi. Or something.” Awra trails off at that, embarrassment curling at how quick she was to praise the Ometicayan boy. “Not that I care or whatever.”
Tsireya shakes with laughter. “No Awra, you’re not listening to me. Men are…simple. Straightforward. You cannot beat around the bush about your feelings. He’s probably afraid of hurting you, you see?”
“He won’t hurt me.” Awra sulks.
“He doesn’t know that.” Tsireya placates. “All he sees is you. Future Tsahik, oldest daughter of Olo’ eyktan Tonowari and Tsahik Ronal. He knows what you hold upon your shoulders, sister. He’s probably the only one who understands.”
Awra nods. “I know–”
“He knows your romance is,” Tsireya pauses, “unbecoming. And that’s why he probably hesitates to pursue you as a mate. Because he knows it cannot be.” At that, Tsireya untangles their hands, placing one over Awra’s heartbeat.
“But you cannot let these things stop you, sister. You must tell him you feel. And it has to come from here.” Tsireya pats Awra’s chest, over her top where her heart would be. “Inside here.”
“But what if he rejects me anyway. I don’t–I can’t deal with that ‘reya.” Awra admits, head hanging low as she thinks about the look of anger and confusion on Neteyam’s face earlier that afternoon. “I’d rather not.”
“No, sister.” Tsireya interjects, shaking her head. Her long ornate braids fall over her shoulders, framing her face. Her sister is beautiful, and Awra can’t help but smile at the thought of her and Lo’ak together.
“I don’t know what to say.” Awra sighs. “I’ll just make things worse like I always do. And then mother and father are really going to skin me alive. And cook me.” Tsireya makes a face at her gory description.
“Like I said sister, it has to come from within. Follow your heart, and you won’t go wrong.” Awra’s mood lifts at Tsireya’s calming voice, a small smile on her face. Tsireya smiles in return, dimples forming little divots around her lips.
“And if I fail?”
“I’ll pray to Eywa for you. It will happen if it is meant to.”
Awra sighs, stretching on the rock. “We should head back. They’ll be looking for us.” Tsireya stands, offering a hand and pulling Awra up to her feet.
“I’ll be sitting by Lo’ak for dinner, if that’s okay.” Tsireya says quietly, almost like an afterthought. Awra turns to her sister, a grin on her face. Tsireya narrows her eyes at Awra’s mischievous expression.
“Of course it’s okay! You guys are pretty cute together.”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dinner with the Metkayina people was always an event. Everyone gathered at a central marui – far larger than the pods families used to sleep in. This pod was meant for clan gatherings or discussion, and was a place of great importance. Inside, the walls are decorated with woven trinkets – almost like songcords for the clan. Every bead, shell or stone signified a great milestone that befell the Metkayina people and was strung up as a reminder of the clan’s great history.
When she younger, Awra used to sit and play in the central marui or Ta’khu, while her father worked on village matters with her mother and other clan warriors. When she grew older, she grew preoccupied and stopped frequenting the Ta’khu with her father. Since then, the only time she’d step foot inside the marui was during mass dinners. And even then, it was a dread and a half. Her father would parade her around in an attempt to secure a suitable mate, much to her shame and embarrassment.
Please masempu, she’d whine. It’s so embarrassing. Hush, he would say, holding up her hand like a trophy. She felt exposed and vulnerable, and started to dread coming to these dinners. Most days she’d wear a shawl to cover her shoulders – being stared at from every possible angle was violating and made her feel small. Today was no different. As she neared the pod, she could feel herself become uneasy, gripping Tsireya’s hand tightly as they hoisted themselves up into the Ta’khu.
Inside, it’s warm and humid, and she can feel a thin sheen of sweat break out as she sits next to her father near the head of the Ta’khu. Tsireya greets their father quickly and bids her farewell, before skipping over to where Lo’ak is crouching, waiting for dinner to be served. She stops her eyes from travelling, willing herself to look away. She smiles at the look of elation on her sister’s face as she takes her place next to her father.
Tonowari greets her with a nod, crouching at the inner-most part of the Ta’khu. It’s customary for the Olo’ eyktan to seat at the top of the pod, so he may see all his people as they dine. Other Metkayina people filter into the pod slowly, settling into a circle around a feast of fruit, meat and other dishes. The smell is mouthwatering.
“My daughter, where have you been?” He asks, turning to face her with a stern expression. In the dim light of the evening, shadows cast an eerie glow over the tattoos on his face. Awra feels herself shrink under his steely gaze.
“With the Sullys, masempu.” She answers. He looks up at that, glancing over at where the Ometicayan family is sitting. She allows herself a quick glance in that direction as well, and to her surprise, Neteyam is already staring at her. She looks away quickly, willing her beating heart to calm itself. Not here, not now, she reminds herself.
“How has the teaching been?” He probes, reaching for a piece of fruit from the spread of food. As he does so, other Metkayina people start eating as well as a sign of respect. She’s thankful there’s chatter in the pod, and feels at ease with lesser eyes watching her.
“It’s been going okay. They are learning fast, I believe they will be able to ride the ilu without any problem very soon.” Awra says, picking up a slice of meat and nibbling on it. She can feel someone staring in her peripheral, and she prays to Eywa it’s not Neteyam.
“That’s good, that’s good.” He trails off, chewing and swallowing. She enjoys the silence, basking in the warmth of the pod. “Have you had your eye on anyone yet? You know it’s almost time for your Iknimaya.”
And with that, Awra feels her heart sink. “Not yet, masempu. I haven’t really been looking for anyone.” She feels him shift, and swallows nervously.
“Why not, ma’ite? We have plenty of fine men for you to choose from! Warriors, hunters–” He stops himself, a hand on his chest. Awra shrinks into herself even more, the piece of meat she’d been nibbling on now lying forgotten on the floor in front of her. He exhales harshly, turning away from her. All at once, she’s suddenly seven again, and cowering in fear after doing something wrong.
“I’m sorry, masempu. I will look for someone worthy.” She offers timidly, tail curled tight around herself. He doesn’t respond, just exhales again. She takes it as an affirmative, turning away from him.  She looks up at the Sully family and sees Neteyam staring at her – eyes large with inquisitivity. The rest of the Sullys are eating, scooping the food up with their hands and in Lo’ak’s case, shoving it unceremoniously into his mouth. She looks over at her sister, who is giggling quietly at Lo’ak’s antics.
Are you okay? He signs discreetly. Her eyes widen, and she glances at her father to make sure he was busy. Her father is speaking with one of the young warriors, eyes diverted from where she is sitting. Awra turns and signs back, not really.
Do you want to talk about it? She looks over at her father again, still occupied in conversation.
Biting her lip, she signs yes. She sees him blink in surprise.
Wanna go for a walk? Meet you outside.
Her heart skips a beat at the idea of being alone with him again.
Okay.

Hello! If I may be so bold as to politely ask for some Zheng Hua lore? His backstory? He is a very handsome salad I would like to know more about
oh my gosh that's so sweet of you to ask!! thank you so much! <3
my favourite story to tell is always the beginning of his creation, the fact that i accidently wrote 'zheng hau' instead of zheng hua. my friends recommended guild wars 2 to me and i'd made an account named zheng hua, and because im located in EU, i chose EU servers - turns out, my friends are NOT in those servers, so i had to REDO my account on NA servers. i did it as fast as i could and in that process completely spelt the name wrong too fast. i have a name contract nowadays but i think its too iconic not to fix it. i like to call him zheng HOW as a joke constantly
but his actual lore! he originally had black-leaf hair going on:
Tumblr media
he is the pod twin of another sylvari named zheng yinyun, who went on to work for the pact as a sniper/deadeye .
i like to think sylvari are almost echoes or ghosts of human lives, so in HIS human life, he was from cantha (i was so shocked when the cantha expac came out, i was like: finally... my time to shine.). he was a canthan general who was extremely serious. which is quite interesting regarding his sylvari version is posing on couches as if he wants someone to draw him like one of their french girls. if you couldnt tell, he adores the color pink and loves the theatrics, the drama, the lights, the action!
in a more angsty sense, i like to think he also gets vivid flashbacks of his own human life; constantly battling his own identity. is he the human he once was, or was he reborn anew as a sylvari? that kind of stuff!
he'll probably make a lot of sarcastic jokes and he has quite a bit of wit to him! he loves being overly dramatic, suave and flirtatious. which is probably why i like to think him and canach tend to clash alot, or maybe not, maybe they just flirt with eachother. just dont put them in the same room alone
POF/HOT SPOILERS:
you know in the mordremoth boss fight?? yea, when he controls you? (i think its sylvari only but, ive never played human on HOT story) i love thinking that it caused long term damage. his hair became thorns and became a snow-like white! which in my personal opinion was not his best hairday (i had it for like a year straight) he had A LOT of identity issues then and was battling .. quite alot of dark thoughts because of mordremoth even if he was long dead.
Tumblr media
HORRIFYING ISNT IT!!! but that brings us to basically LW4. so basically when he became the champion of aurene his hair Untangled. . . which is my favourite look currently and i think ill keep it. and he hopefully got some semblance of a vacation... or therapy
some other fun stuff? one time me and my friends all danced around a trahearne mini my friend just got me because i'd gone through the entire story of HOT for the first time. they knew trahearne ... you know.. died, but i didnt. and he was my favourite so far. anyways. a bunch of people joined in with us and it was a really fun time after being absolutely traumatized by his explosion into a mcdonalds milkshake
Tumblr media Tumblr media
some really great highlights here (friends in here are @gwapeymwah and @absxntdream ) i think this counts as lore in some way .. . possibly. it just shows off what his personality is
ah, and hes a mesmer! theres probably so much more i could've put here, but i dont wanna make too long of a post!! thank you so much for asking, i'll make sure to talk about him more, im happy to hear you like him!!

SO I read a lot of fanfiction...like more than is probably healthy for me, but it brings me a lot of joy so I'm gonna keep doing it. I recently finished Evolution is spelt with an R by de-sire and I was pretty obsessed with it, I just there are so many things I love about it. I loved the world-building and that it approached the wizarding war from a different perspective
My taste tends to vary pretty widely, I'll go from mature to general. If you haven't read operation toebeans by moonymoment you should because it's so adorable I'm obsessed with it.
I also read "Don't blame me, love made me crazy" by coupe_de_foudre recently and it was adorable. Flirty Jegulus gives me life!
ALSO Quite like Us is so cute and I am waiting with baited breath for the next chapter. I really want to see how the author is going to work with Sirius and Regulus' relationship. It's so clear they love each other but they are both a mess who don't really know how to have actual real conversations. I haven't read the other two you mentioned yet, I'm not a big wip person, I have to really be in the mood to get into one, I tend to read fics all in one sitting and I get anxiety sometimes when I don't know what happens immediately
Don't hate me but I'm 100% the person who purposefully spoils movies and things sometimes for myself because the waiting makes me anxious, so I follow Yaz on here and am pretty much up to date on what's happening in WYWM and I'm super excited to read it when they are finished with it, and I'll live happily knowing all the spoilers thus far
SO for my favorite Au's, I'm pretty partial to magic au's, I absolutely adore seeing how authors see the world and how they expand on it and all the magical theory they put behind it (I'm a huge nerd for magical theory). I enjoy a good modern au when I'm in the mood for it. I've been known to read a time travel fic every once in a while (back to magical theory, I find the theory behind it truly fascinating)
I'm getting ready to read "The things I did" by lolo-row which is a wolfstar fic that just finished. All I really know about it is that it's based after james/lily die and Remus realized the Sirius azkaban thing is fishy and he works to get him free and also works to get Harry away from his shitty relatives. I have high hope for it, so we will see.
What's your favorite fic you've read recently? What au's make you go high-key feral?
-Chaotic Fanfic Anon
i read fanfics a lot that everyone in the household is kind of concerned about me but i'm me and i'm always insane. but i had a humongous increase in my prescription after i started reading fanfics till very very very late in the dark, under the covers. so. probably not healthy
de-sire is such a great writer! they have so many amazing fics but i've yet to read the one you're referring to
i added tobeans and don't blame me to my tbr! thanks for the rec
yess quite like us is pretty adorable. i love it! i've read way too many wrong number AUs but i think there's only one for jegulus. i don't follow many wips too. at first i read everything under the tags but then i came to love a select few and i follow only them.
SAME i ruin everything by going and searching the events of a movie or a book online but i can't fucking help it. no one actually understands how my brain works. its a mystery that im going to pretend ik the answers to
wywm and yaz is a void that sucks everyone in whether or not you're reading the fic. please its just so funny and sweet how you followed them and then stuck around for updates and spoilers of a fic you haven't read and now love as your own
i got sick of sad, canon compliant magical au jegulus so i haven't picked up a magic au in a while. but i agree with being a nerd and freaking out over well developed magic systems in fantasy books. like omg its the most fun part to read and also to write if you're a writer
i've read two or three time travel fix its. there's one i beta-ed for which is Ouroboros. the others i don't recall.
my favorite recently read fic...omg i haven't started new fics in a while. eesh. but i did post a list of comfort fics so you can check that out
what AU makes me go feral. mmm. i love modern AUs bc there's so much potential for everything. i hope this makes sense but i really love how writers translate a certain event from canon to the modern AU and change it - like werewolf remus has a chronic condition instead. little things like that.
enemies to friends to lovers makes me go *incoherent shrieking* which is why i've started writing my own romeo juliet business rivals AU for jegulus bc if gods provide me no content then i will take my destiny in my own hands

Tell us about your your day! Did anything interesting happen?(answer by the end of the day)
04 12 2023;
I missed the bus for school so my sister dropped me and my brother off
My classes are biology, graphic design tech 2, participation in democracy and algebra 2-
So I started the day with biology and learned about the systems in the body; in depth
But it was a short day today so class was not an 95 minutes and I spent 6 minutes getting to my second period because it's at the back of the school
And all biology classes are at the front
I made my shirt yesterday for the shop my class is doing this Friday, and today was a crunch day
We finished more pre-orders, did keychains, more shirts, and stickers especially
I did some promotional video editing on the side
By lunch I was very hungry, was the first one in the cafeteria as usual and went to the wrong meetup spot (where my friends hang out)
Got a bit insecure that I'm always the last person to find out specific things even though I try to ask everyday, but it's whatever and we talked about a guy who didn't like women taking birth control
Because she'll piss it out and it'll end up in the tap water and then everyone will be drinking birth control
And we came to the conclusion that he just wants to be a dad so badly ✊️
Anyways
3rd period was fun, we're writing our own constitution and my friends and I are my teacher's prized group because we always make the projects fun
And now we're collaborating on a for fun storyline about a night school for Knights (because we had to design a school and we came up with: Knight of Bell; the Night School for Knights [18:00-00:00])
Anyways there's this chill guy Kjell who's always in my group and I'm just mentioning him because he's nice
Was late to my 4th, as always, today because I had to piss
Class went surprisingly well, I drew as per usual and worked on requests for my table mates because I mention commissions and they tell me no so a sketched easy request it is
Took the bus home and talked with another friend (she lives in my community) about the night school for Knights and the rival character
My sister picked me up from the bus stop, the dogs in tow, and we went around getting gummies and catching pokemon
I did some more writing for my story spirits of eden and then discussed with my mom possible shirt designs for our upcoming fundraiser (I'm going to Utah for our next next game maybe and since I'm already doing shirt work my parents think it'd be nice to use my art)
(In general also, if I want a shirt design my dad said he'd help me get what I need together)
Then I got nervous because all my art is sketchbook art and no real digital ones at the moment and I'd like to show actual art like everyone wants and I don't have much at the moment...
I asked my younger sister to help me with Mt laundry, then started a sketch of rukkadehvata (hope I spelt it right) and scheduled it for sometime saturday I think?
Around 7ish I started fixing my room; just putting my clothes away
All my siblings and both my parents were home so we gathered and decided to play fnaf 1 (we don't do this extremely often; it's always a treat when we get these nights together) and it was my turn at night 3
I didn't realize Freddy would move and my strategy did not account for him until I kept hearing his music and peeked at the stage
Only to find it
Completely empty
But I lived!
Freaking foxy jumped from phase 1 to 2 in under a second where I flipped the camera twice because I didn't get a good look the first time 😒😒😒
In between that I was playing sky with my wives, and the night will end with me in my room, drawing Rukka again
I did not call with one of my wives as I usually do; but all is well! Another time another time
I'll sleep in an hour

First of all this is so wild yall this acc is a bastardisation of my deadname (based on some nickname but spelt wrong) but hi ig I'm back to rant.
I'm just so sick n tired of my parents and I just feel so bad when I see them emotionally neglecting my brother. they've just had another kid n they have just started w the barrage of "shut up idc that you're upset" and he just wants his mum to give him the attention she gave him before. but they won't. and I can't stop feeling guilty for it, as if I can fix anything. I'm still a fucking kid but I have the intense need to make sure he doesn't end up how I did. that he feels loved. they act surprised when he acts the way they raised him to. they've already started the "stop that you're not a child!" as if he isn't a 6 year old. but why is it my fault? why do I have to pick up the slack? this is one of the most important academic years of my fucking life. and I now also feel guilty for not being a pseudo parent
quite frankly I'm just sick and tired. I'm sick of my dad already thinking I've had my 18th birthday. any other birthday I'd not really care. hes never been very present, why would he know how old I am? but he didn't even remember whether his oldest child was a legal adult yet. and then I'm the issue for being upset about it. I'm sick about the fact that I can never say this ever to anyone in school despite literally treating my physics teacher as a pseudo mom figure, because I know the potential safeguarding fallout. I don't even know if I'm a safeguarding issue anymore. am I telling everyone too much? am I too much? ugh that's just my mentally ill thoughts again just I thought I was doing okay.
I really thought I was doing well. but ig nothing can ever change. I'm still fucking traumatised. because when will I ever not be. its not like they're ever going to get better. it's not like I'm not going to be unable to walk and then get told off when I agree to accepting things people offer bc I'm "selfish" for being,,, yknow,,, too disabled to put weight on my leg rn. and then given the things but in a way that still makes me feel awful. and I'm just sick and tired
and they're just fucking sick. who treats a child like this? who decides that this is how you act? I never got a fucking childhood. I didn't know how to talk to people until fucking ages 12 because noone talked to me as a child. I was a fucking cunt. and hurt people. and got hurt. and yknow what, who else can I blame it on? if I got better n treat people better, clearly I just wasn't taught how to act. and whose fault is that? the parents who did the exact same thing they're doing to my brother to me. caring for (rather than 6, 2) and then tossing me aside for the next tiny thing to come along n be loved.
I spose the one good thing about this is that I can feel again. I have the ability to *feel* the traumatic event when it happens. I have the ability to feel my parents slowly chip away at me as a person and deal w it that day. which feels like a backhanded achievement. my brain has decided I'm strong enough to see the reality of where I am. and I hate it
but hey. 1 year to freedom. 1 year til I move out to uni and I can live away from them. they can't hurt me if they can't interact with me, right? it's really the only thing keeping me holding on

I constantly see people talking about Camilo and Dolores' parts in 'We Don't Talk About Bruno' but I am not ashamed to admit that Felix's voice is most definitely my favourite part of the song. The way he just puts so much energy into his parts, as short as they are, makings sure to highlight how wonderful it was to be married to Pepa, the way he just truly shows how he loves her, it's just wonderful.
"I'm sorry, mi vida, go on" has got to be my favourite part of the song, aside from the end of it with all the parts merged together. His voice is just absolutely flawless.
I would have loved to see more of his singing in the movie because from what I heard, his voice is amazing and he definitely deserves the title as best husband ever shown in a Disney Movie, so I'm going to go into more detail about that now.
You can see that Felix's affection for his family rubbed off on his children, such as Camilo helping to calm down his mama, Dolores who didn't judge Bruno for what she'd heard about him and instead of her own personal experiences with him, and Antonio who was just an angel through the movie. Felix is just a great person who raised amazing kids and cared so much for his wife.
God, that way he treated Pepa in the movie was so beautiful and I would love to see more fictional characters treat their S/O like he dies in the future. He never makes jokes about her and her feelings. He helps her to calm down when she's feeling upset. He gently reminds her to move her cloud slightly when she's crying at Antonio's gift ceremony. He encourages her to feel things, instead of bottling them up until they explode, like she was told to by everyone else around her. It's just wonderful to see him actually care about her and her feelings instead of making jokes about "happy wife, happy life" or telling her to stop overreacting. He genuinely loves her for who she is, even with her flaws and destructive tendencies and that's just something I'm so glad to see portrayed in the movie.
I would love to see more of Felix, Pepa, and Camilo if Disney decide to make a series like they did with Tangled, or even if they just did some shorts featuring them in the future (like what Dreamworks did with HTTYD with their occasional specials)
If I messed up somewhere in the post, with names or titles, or even with how Felix's acted in certain ways, please let me know. I am not overly knowledgeable on most of these things, being a white Australian teenager, but I am glad to fix up any mistakes I made in this post. If you think I should take this post down if I've been disrespectful in anyway, or overstepped, please let me know as well and I will remove it immediately. I just wanted to get these thoughts out somewhere because of my hyperfixation, but I do not have any intentions to offend anyone. I am a bit worried with how I spelt Pepa's name so please correct me if I got it wrong.
Thanks for taking the time to read this long post and I would be glad to hear your own thoughts about this.

I've completed my fanfic based on the ask @ammonitetheseawing sent me. I really loved this idea so I had to write this. Please keep in mind that this is like the second fanfic I've ever written, and it might not be the best, so please don't be mean. Anyways, here it is!
(Quick note: I'm actually 90% sure I spelt Yunan's name wrong this entire time and I really just don't have the energy or time to fix it so I'm sorry )
Rescued
It had all happened so fast. One minute she was in the grasp of King Andrias, being used as a pawn against her will. Then suddenly Lady Olivia and General Yunnan had come to rescue her. Now, they were running for their lives, searching for a safe place to hide. Well, Marcy was being carried on General Yunnan's back, since her legs were too weak to walk. There had been a burning question in Marcy's head though. Why? Why did they risk everything to save her?
They had finally gotten to a safe place. No one should find them here at least for a couple of days. Yunnan set Marcy down carefully on the ground, and sat next to her. Olivia joined them as well. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Olivia asked Marcy, iher breath still heavy from running.
" I'm fine," Marcy said quietly. In reality, though, she knew that was a lie. Honestly, she didn't think she would ever be fine again, but after everything that has happened, the last thing she wanted was for people she cared about to worry about her when she felt like she didn't deserve it.
Lady Olivia looked at Marcy and frowned. She could tell Marcy wasn't telling the truth. She knew Marcy wasn't telling her something. Lady Oliva looked at General Yunnan and Yunnan nodded her head. "There's something you're hiding from us isn't there," Lady Olivia said, "You can tell us what's really going on dear. We won't be mad or upset. We just want to help you."
Marcy sighed. She couldn't believe that it had been so obvious. "It's just, you and Yunnan both risked your lives to save me when you didn't have to. I guess I just want to know why. Why did you choose to save me"
The two newts went silent. Olivia and Yunnan shared a look, neither knowing what to say. After a minute or two, Yunnan broke the silence. "Because you don't deserve that pain. You don't deserve anything that you've been put through. You were manipulated and betrayed by someone you trusted, then you were essentially killed by him, and then he possessed you and hurt you more. You're just a child! You didn't deserve that!" Yunnan said.
"Yunnan's Right. You didn't deserve any of that. And you most certainly don't deserve to go through any of this alone," Olivia started, "When you first arrived in Amphibia, we did what we could to make sure you were happy and comfortable. We did our best to provide you with anything you needed or wanted. That's what we were ordered to do by the king. We were never really there when you needed us. We were kind of just standing by. But ever since Andrias shared his true colors and hurt you, we can't stand by anymore and let him hurt you."
"He can bring on whatever he wants, but we just can't let him purposely hurt you. That's over now," Yunnan continued.
Marcy looked down. She couldn't believe what she had just heard. All of the sudden, all of the pain, fear, guilt, and sadness she felt became overwhelming. She started holding back tears, but then she couldn't hold it in anymore. She started sobbing uncontrollably.
Lady Oliva and General Yunnan moved closer to Marcy to comfort her. "Let it all out kiddo," General Yunnan said.
"We're here for you. Just let it all out," Lady Olivia added.
"I just feel so guilty and confused and scared. I still can't forgive myself for what I did to my friends, and I know they hate me. I still haven't got to process what Andrias did to me and there's just so much fear and horror I keep relieving from that. And I'm so scared about what is going to happen to me and you guys and my friends and I don't know if they're safe. And I feel so guilty because this is all my fault. And even though I'm so thankful that you rescued me, I don't feel like I deserve it because I've made so many mistakes and this is all my fault," Marcy sobbed.
Olivia and Yunnan looked at each other once again, and started to hug Marcy to comfort her. Marcy continued to sob. The love and support she felt from Olivia and Yunnan made sob even more because this is what she didn't know she needed. Suddenly, she felt an uncomfortable but familiar feeling. Then, she no longer had control of her mind or body.
All of the sudden, Marcy stopped crying. Olivia and Yunnan looked at each other confused. Hesitantly, Oliva asked, "Marcy, do you feel a bit better now dear?"
"Yes," the young girl said, "I'm feeling better, Lady Olivia."
The young girl turned around, the light shining on only half of her face. Her eye glowed bright red, orange, and yellow. She had an evil grin on her face. "I'm feeling much better," she said.

"Rock my world" - Sirius Black x reader
A/n: I was thinking of making this a series but idk, let me know what you think. The band in the picture, Maneskin, are my inspiration for the marauders' band music and aesthetic. Check them out cause they're really good. They're going to represent Italy at the next Eurovision contest.
Here's their Instagram and Spotify.
Tags: Muggle AU, so ofc no magic, no Hogwarts, Marauders in a rock band, no Peter but Regulus instead, jily
Warnings: none
Word count: 2.2K ish
Summary: When y/n finally agrees to check out this band that her best friend was always talking about, she's in for a pleasant surprise and one hell of a night.
Tumblr media
It had all started in the cheesiest and most cliscé of ways, really. Y/n had made a bet which had made you go out of your comfort zone that one night and for your bravery, you were rewarded with the most amazing boyfriend ever. It sounds like a story out of a rom-com or a romance novel, doesn't it? Well, yeah, it felt like a main character moment but, unlike what we see in those stories, it wasn't always fun and games.
But let's start from the beginning, shall we?
Y/n's best friend Jules had been nagging her about this rock band who was apparently the new sensation of the year according to her, for the longest time. So, one Friday night, when Jules had informed her that that very band was playing in a bar not very far from her workplace, she agreed to go for drinks there.
Worst case scenario, she thought, the music will be terrible but at least I get to tease Jules about it.
Still clothed in the floral dress she had chosen this morning, but adding a few glittery touches and graphic eyeliner to make her look more nighty, y/n headed towards said bar where Jules was already waiting for her.
"Finally," she huffed when y/n rounded the corner and entered her field of vision.
"Sorry, it was my turn to close tonight," y/n shot her an apologetic smile before hooking their arms.
They made their way inside looking for a place to sit. The bar was already crowded but not in an unusual way. Maybe it was the hour or the fact that it was a weeknight, y/n didn't know but felt grateful that it wasn't packed. She really wasn't a fan of crowded places.
They got their drinks and caught up as they usually would about their week. They were almost finished when the band walked up the stage and music started playing. Even before the first note, one look at their outfits made clear what kind of music they were going to play.
They had an interesting aesthetic, y/n had to admit. They wore the same colour but each member had their own style. The band was made up of four guys, the bassist had long straight hair and he looked a lot like the singer who instead had curly hair, the drummer had short curly light brown hair and y/n couldn't see what he was wearing past a black vest while the guitarist had black hair that was all over the place and wore glasses.
They had an androgynous aesthetic, each of them with beautiful makeup in tones of black and grey and the ones y/n could see clearly were wearing a sort of body. They looked stunning. Y/n had decided she liked them based on this alone. She had to admire anyone who had the guts to express themselves freely especially when it was in such an open and unapologetic way of going against gender norms.
After half an hour, the music stopped and after the singer wished everyone goodnight and they all climbed down. As she expected, they played rock music ranging from soft rock edging pop to hard rock that made her think a lot of ACDC. Y/n wasn't an expert in music but she had liked what she heard and wouldn't mind listening more from them. She was sure that she was going to catch some of their songs on the radio in the future.
However, Jules picked up the conversation where they had left it before the concert and decided that it was the time where she'd complain about her recent love interest. Each of their weekly meetings had one of this moment. Unfortunately, it looked like Jules didn't have a lot of luck when it came to guys. And as it always would, she wondered if she was the problem asking y/n if the reason every one of her relationships failed because she was unlovable. As if.
"That's not true, I truly believe that you can learn to love anyone. Lest you get to know them, of course."
"Of course you'd say something like that."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"If you truly believe that, then you're not going to say no to this." Jules wriggles her eyebrows suggestively and y/n knew that the night is either about to become very interesting or about to go very wrong.
"The expression on your face is telling me that I should definitely say no to what you're about to say."
"Oh c'mon, it's just an innocent dare. Nothing too crazy, I promise."
"Which is?"
"You see that guy leaning on the bar? Long black hair with the black leather jacket?" Y/n turned around indulging her friend and eventually spotted the guy she was talking about. She took her time to look at him until she realized something that made her whip around to face Jules again.
"You mean the singer of the band?" y/n asked incredulously.
"Isn't he handsome?" Jules smiled wide completely ignoring the look y/n was giving her already knowing what was going through her friends' mind. "I want you to go to him and ask him out."
"What?"
"C'mon", Jules complained reaching out to y/n over the table, "didn't you say that it was possible to love anyone? Can't you see yourself loving him?"
"That's not the point," y/n exclaimed still not believing that her friend was suggesting something so outrageous. "Can you see him loving me?" Because that man over there had "heart breaker" spelt all over him. And okay, y/n had to admit that this was a rush judgment she was making and it wasn't exactly fair but there was no way that a guy like him could be interested in a girl like her.
And yes, we could stay here and discuss all the reasons why that statement is wrong but still, if she were to put herself out there -something that was not like her at all- she wasn't going to go over someone so out of reach for her. And that was that.
"Listen, do you remember that video you sent me the other day?" Jules squared her shoulders, now looking fully serious at y/n. Unfortunately, y/n did remember the video Jules was talking about. She would have never guessed it would come back and bit her in the ass otherwise she'd never sent it.
Sighing, y/n looked down at the drink in her hands and thought about it. The video basically encouraged the viewer to go up to what they believed was the most beautiful person in the room and tell them exactly that. It may sound a little silly but at the time y/n had appreciated the sentiment. Going out of one's comfort zone. Challenging yourself. Because, what was the worst that could happen? That person shotting you down? That didn't sound life-threatening. Now though, y/n wasn't so sure.
"Worst case scenario, just tell him I'm calling you and head back here." Jules offered, almost as if she could tell exactly what her best friend was thinking.
Looking at her best friend, something snapped in her. Jules was right. What's the worst that could happen? She already knew that the guy was going to shoot her down. She was prepared. It was a dare, a silly thing that could give her a story to tell to her nephews one day.
What the hell, y/n thought squaring her shoulders.
"You know what?" she downed the rest of her drink and got up from her seat, "I'm doing it." Looking in the reflection of the tissue box on the table to check how she looked, she fixed her smudged lipstick and ruffed her hair before nodding solemnly at Jules and turned around.
As she made her way to the bar, she could hear Jules cheering on her fueling her sudden confidence.
The man of the hour was there where she saw him last. Her steps faltered as she realized that she had no idea how to approach him. What was she going to say? Oh my god, she was totally going to make a fool of herself. If she was not going to die for his rejection, she sure is going to die of embarrassment.
She was almost about to turn around and abort the mission when his eyes met hers.
Well, fuck. There was no way she was going to back down now.
She regained her confidence and smiled at him while closing the distance between them. She smiled at him. Who was she? Did someone drug her drink?
He smiled back at her, turning so that he'd be facing her once she reached him and she almost stopped to pinch herself to see if she was hallucinating or something.
"Hey," she said once she stood in front of him. Good, she thought, let's start with something simple.
"Hi," he smiled back at her.
Okay, okay, it's going good, isn't it? He hasn't ignored me, that must mean something, right? Yes, that he wasn't a rude asshole was her sobering thought.
"So," y/n started trying to take to time while she figured what to say, "I saw a video the other day," was what she ended up with.
The handsome stranger lifted his eyebrows in amusement and took a sip of his beer. Y/n took that as a "go on then".
"There was this woman that basically dared anyone watching to go up to the person who they thought was the most beautiful person in the room and tell them exactly that." Well, let's just get it out of the way, I guess, she thought. "So, here I am," she added as if it wasn't clear enough.
However, as she saw the man's smile widen, y/n suddenly realized how really screwed she was. This man was way out of her league.
"Well, now that I'm here, I should also mention that you've really good at what you do too."
"Not to sound rude or anything," he spoke for the first time that evening and y/n had already decided that he had been the gods' favourite in another life before he opened his mouth but now? as he heard his low and raspy voice? she was sure he had been at least a demi-god, "did you lost a bet or something?" he asked, his grey eyes boring into hers like he was looking into her soul.
Who was this guy? and why was she feeling like this? Get a grip, y/n, she scolded herself.
"Is it that obvious?" y/n's shoulders slouched as some of the tension left them, a nervous laugh leaving her mouth.
"I saw you downing your drink like it was some kind of bravery potion before you came here," he explained with a light scroll of his shoulders. "Not that I mind though," he added with what should be an illegal smirk. Smug.
"Yeah, I'm sure you've heard it countless time only tonight." Let's joke on it, she thought, there's still a chance I can come clean out of this mess.
He chuckled and, not leaving her eyes, he slipped a hand through his loose hair pushing it back. "I meant that if you hadn't come I would probably found an excuse to come up to you too." He leaned back onto the bar looking completely unbothered, not as if he had said something that made her feel on fire.
"Looks like I've to thank your friend for my luck." Looking over your shoulder, he held one of his hands up and lightly waving at Jules, y/n figured.
"Yeah, let's not tell her that or I will never hear the end of it." Rolling her eyes, y/n also leaned on her arm resting on the bar next to him. Whether it was the fact that all the cards were on the table or that what he said meant that he had to somewhat like her, she felt more relaxed than a couple of minutes ago.
"Before I make this solemn oath, I think it would be appropriate to know your name, don't you think?"
"It's y/n," she held her hand up for him to shake. However, he had something else in mind since when he took hold of her hand he turned it and held it up to his lips to leave a soft kiss on it. Y/n  almost rolled her eyes at the gesture if it wasn't for his eyes. They didn't move from hers and she found that she didn't want to stop looking at him. Like she was in a trance. Yes, he was handsome, even more so up close, so of course he was nice to look at but that wasn't why. It's the way his eyes glimmered as they watched her, the gentleness with which he was holding her hand, the softness of his lips on her skin. What would they feel like on her lips, she wondered.
"I'm Sirius."
And that's how it all started. A silly video sent almost automatically to her best friend and an outrageous bet made y/n's night definitely interesting. To her luck though, Sirius became a permanent presence and not a one-night sensation.

Awra keeps to herself for the next few days, busying her day with picking medicinal herbs in the nearby sea pools and weaving baskets to prepare for the hunting party. She hadn’t been speaking with her mother either – their last conversation sat heavy in her gut and reminded her that she was only here for one reason. And that reason was to fulfill her duty to the Metkayina people. It didn’t matter how she felt or what she wanted. What mattered was that she chose a warrior to become Olo‘ eyktan, and became his Tsahik. Her mother had made that much clear.
It would have been easy avoiding the forest Na’vi, if not for the fact that her father had assigned both herself and her younger sister Tsireya to look after the Ometicayans during their stay. It was near impossible to be around Neteyam without a sickly feeling of longing, or dread that her mother would be nearby, watching her. He had picked up on her distance, and sent questioning gazes her way; which she tried to ignore. Even as his siblings thundered down the shoreline, he had lingered behind. Awra knew he was waiting – waiting for her to break the silence, to acknowledge him; to say something. Instead, Awra turned away, picking up her weaving materials and walking upshore to her favourite weaving spot. She could feel him boring holes into her spine, but pursed her lips and did nothing.
Keep walking, she told herself. Don’t turn around. Don’t turn around, Awra.
Eventually, she heard the soft crunch of footsteps in sand, indicating that the Ometicayan had walked away. She swallowed hard. She couldn’t silence the nagging voice in her head telling her to go to him; that she was hurting him by ignoring his presence. I’m sorry, Neteyam.
As she wove in silence, Awra couldn’t resist sneaking a few glances at Neteyam riding his ilu with his siblings in the water. She wanted nothing more than to join them in the water, but decided against it.
He’s going to resent me for ignoring him, she thought. I feel awful. Notch in, notch out, then under. She wove the pieces of seagrass in and under delicately, forming the securing notches by the base of the basket. I’m doing the right thing. I’m doing the right thing. I’m doing the right –
“Awra.”
Awra startles, looking up to meet stern amber eyes. Neteyam is standing, dripping wet, in the sand in front of her, a perplexed expression on his face. Awra stares back, feeling herself get nervous as folds his arms over his chest.
“You’ve been avoiding me.” He says simply, cocking his head. Awra chews on her lip, putting down her basket. “Not speaking with me, when you speak with others. And when you speak of me, you do so in such a cold way. What is wrong, Awra?”
“Nothing–”
“I said, what is wrong.” He interrupts. Awra feels uneasy, his hard glare is fixed on her face as he demands answers. “Awra–”
“I said nothing is wrong.” She bites back, baring her teeth. She stands up, head barely reaching his shoulders. He raises his eyebrows. “Stop questioning me. You’re not my father, Neteyam.” She surprises herself at the amount of venom she’d channeled in his name, taking a step backward.
A moment passes in tense silence. “Leave me be. I need to finish my weaving before the hunting party leaves tonight.”
He scoffs softly, looking at her half-woven basket incredulously. Awra frowns at that, already ready to counter his nonchanlance with something spiteful. “Seriously?”
Awra bites her tongue. I’m not going to say anything that I will regret, she tells herself. If I continue weaving, he’ll take the hint and leave me be. Taking a deep breath, she picks up her basket again, and continues weaving as Neteyam stares her down.
For a few beats, nothing happens. She can see the Ometicayan boy standing in front of her, but he doesn’t seem upset; just confused. He’s simply watching her weave, hands hanging limply at his sides. He’s still soaked, water dripping down his braids onto his chest and shoulders. She knows it must look ridiculous – a Metkayina girl weaving, while an Ometicayan stands in front of her silently, dripping wet.
Anytime now, she reassures herself. She feels her heart twinge when he turns away from her, seemingly about to walk away. But instead, he clicks his tongue and drops into a crouch in front of her. He’s at eye level now, and Awra stops weaving when she catches the look on his face.
The Ometicayan boy looks like he’s pleading, begging her to tell him what’s wrong. He almost looks like a kicked puppy, she notes. His large, round eyes are desperate, searching her face for answers. “Awra, please.” His ears turn down as he says so, flattening against his head.
She feels her heart flip at the way he says her name – all pretty and delicate like sea moss. “Awra, please tell me what’s wrong. Did I do something to upset you? Eywa, just tell me what I did, I’ll fix it.” He pleads with her, snatching the basket out of her hands and tossing it aside.
“Hey–”
He grabs both her hands in his, palms large and warm. They engulf her hands completely, long fingers curled around her wrists. Awra feels her breath hitch at the unexpected contact, eyes darting between their clasped hands and his face.
“Awra. Tell me what’s wrong. I’ll fix it for you, whatever it is.” Neteyam says again, desperation bleeding into his voice. Awra swallows, heart beating as she can feel every callous in his palm where they rest against hers. He’s got pretty hands, all long and slim, she thinks. He’s rubbing over her knuckles in a way that’s supposed to soothe her, but instead she feels her heart soar with panic at the contact.
She pulls herself out of his grasp, seeing his face fall. “Awra–”
“Sorry Neteyam, sorry.” She grabs her basket hastily, the carefully woven notches unravelling in her panic. “I have to go. Sorry.”
“Awra, wait! Please–” Neteyam grabs her arm, knocking her off balance and she drops her basket and weaving materials in the sand. In a panic, she yanks her arm out of his grip. Her mother could be watching.
“Let go! I’ve gotta go, please just, let me be Neteyam. Please.” He looks devastated at her words, eyes glassy and wide. “I’m sorry.”
His hand falls to his side, and she takes off towards her marui without a second thought. She can still see his broken expression in her mind, clear as day. It leaves a bitter taste in her mouth. She hates the fact that she enjoyed that little physical contact they shared – even if it was just for a few seconds.
That night, she tried to commit to memory the way his hands had felt wrapped around hers. How his palms so easily dwarfed hers, his long slender fingers and the way they curled around her small wrists. The way he’d begged for her to stay, the way his eyes grew wide when she’d left him on the beach. Maybe, she tried convincing herself, maybe just the idea of him is enough for me. That night, she falls asleep dreaming of dark blue skin and golden eyes.
