How do u feel about Mabel
I have an unending sense of adoration for what Mabel contributes to Gravity Falls. Technically, Mabel isn’t a favorite of mine – I don’t think of her or relate to her as much as others like Stan, Ford, Dipper, or Fiddleford. However, my appreciation for her is endless.
Gravity Falls couldn’t exist without Mabel. The story’s heart would be crippled. Mabel’s energy and charm provides a unique personality to the show through her unique personality. The show wouldn’t have the same vibe without her ridiculousness! Plus, GF is a story of familial love. And Mabel, as half of the younger Pines twins duo, is essential to giving us the feels of what it means to be in a loving but emotionally complicated family. They couldn’t have picked a better personality to interact with Dipper and Stan for the narrative’s central trio. The combination of Mabel’s vivacity, Stan’s gruffness, and Dipper’s paranoia… is what sells us on this cast. (With Bill, Soos, Wendy, Ford, Pacifica, Gideon, etc. making great additions.)
That’s already enough to celebrate Mabel, but I can’t say this enough: Mabel is the fulfillment of my greatest wish for women characters:
Let women be weird.
Tumblr media
The Limited Scope of Female Personalities in Media
All genders get roped into stereotypical personalities in media, but I feel like women especially get reduced. I struggle relating to and loving fictional women… because they feel like the same restrictive subset of personalities I’ve seen reiterated again and again and again and again and again.
There’s the rude, prissy, popular rich girl.
There’s that easygoing cool tomboy.
There’s the hot, edgy, serious, sexy, COOL, highly skilled badass action woman who is the most hardcore of the main cast, hides a sense of internal empathy and compassion, but warms up from her coldness when she meets the main character lead… and then probably goes and kisses him once he, despite being a rookie, magically manages to best her years of hard training.
*ka-sigh*
Even when a fictional woman doesn’t hit something that cringeworthily stereotypical, she still feels… bland. Fictional characters can be enjoyable exaggerations of personality traits – we have the opportunity to create as weird, ridiculous, or diverse of individuals as we possibly can. And yet usually women aren’t written to be as wild or diverse in their personalities as men. The ladies will probably look standardly pretty, act standardly reasonable, act standardly feminine, and make standard choices. Women characters in a cast often feel the least distinct to me. I’m probably not going to find quirks in my ladies or something that sets them apart from the crowd. Let’s be real: media depicts women according to societal expectation. Women in media are reduced to a washed-out, generic fantasy that doesn’t relate anything to how women feel, nor does it try hard to relate to what women feel.
The writing doesn’t understand women. And I can feel it.
When a bland, stale action woman goes on screen in her hot sexy tight pants, is her presentation supposed to be female empowerment (she’s fighting [gasp!])? Or is it another quick, uninspired shortcut without thinking through what her humanity is? “She fights, she’s a ‘good’ female role model, that’s good enough.” Still caters to the male gaze, still caters to male fantasy for what an attractive woman is like, still doesn’t think through her psychology, still presents media’s “desire” for what women “should” be like.
Tumblr media
We drastically need to improve how women are written.
You know what my women friends are like? Women are loud and unashamed belchers. Women crack terrible puns about the French Revolution while everyone boos. Women dress up their stuffed animal cats in goggles and a lab coat. Women geek out over how cute worms are. Women want to kill the opposing team in sports competitions. Women eat food off the floor. Women spend sleepovers watching chick flicks and musicals. Women shriek screamo songs at the top of their lungs, getting maybe a third of the lyrics right, racing through the night in their car twenty miles over the speed limit. Women spend thirty five minutes trying to get the perfect selfie because their hair finally fucking cooperated. Women repeatedly text their friends photos of them flipping the bird making derp faces. Women play beer pong until they’re drunk. Women do unnecessarily complicated mathematics calculations to prove their point in fandom. Women stay up all night screaming murder at first person shooter video games. Women play shitty pop song covers on their tubas. Women spend an hour and a half dyeing their hair pink in the sink (and dye the entire bathroom pink in the process). Women debate the finer points of Immanuel Kant with one another. Women demand their friends dish the details when they hear someone has a new significant other. Women binge watch anime eating frozen dinners heated from the microwave while sobbing out their mascara. Women get crushes on Simba or Kovu from The Lion King. Women work out at gyms because they want to get RIPPED. Women. Are. Diverse. And. Delightfully. QUIRKY.
I know I ranted a long time about it, but the point is to show the difference between what women are (personable and peculiar)… versus the stale bread, watered-down crap we get in the movies.
So this. This is why I will never quit raving about Mabel.
Mabel finally lets us see an ACTUAL GIRL as ACTUAL GIRLS act: she’s delightfully, realistically, over-exaggeratedly, charmingly, unforgettably WEIRD.
Instead of trying to write a “girl” first and getting tied up in the tropes and gender biases, Gravity Falls writes a character who happens to be a girl with some girl traits.
What Makes Mabel Different
Tumblr media
Instead of writing some standard bland stereotyping “oh this feels vaguely feminine and attractive” excuse-for-a-cardboard-cutout-of-a-woman… Mabel is given real love, real personality, real demonstration of what women are. After all these years of me suffering in theatres thinking, “Oh look, it’s the same uninspired sexy badass action woman stereotype,” I can finally find a character who’s not what media pretends women should be like. I see a character who the writers actually thought about her personality for!
Gravity Falls allows a woman character to do things I almost never see of women characters.
For starters: Mabel’s gross. She finds leftover tacos in the backseat of the car and decides it’s a perfect snack. She sticks her head into a dusty barrel and laughs when caterpillars crawl over her face. She makes fart sounds and laughs at those fart sounds. She lets a statue pick her nose. She shoves food into her mouth voraciously. She’s animated with wild, ridiculous, non-flattering facial expressions. Gravity Falls allows Mabel to be gross.
Tumblr media
This is already amazing to me. Cartoons are a little better than live action movies, where the latter can’t let a woman look imperfect when she’s crying or fighting villains. But cartoons often have limitations for how women are shown, too. It’s refreshing to see a girl who is gross.
And I don’t know about you, but I’d be hard-pressed to name even three other contemporary Western women characters who’re allowed to be girly AND gross. Mabel Pines. Princess Fiona. The list ends there for me? Sometimes I’ll see girls in media dressed with “unruly” appearances – their hair is SLIGHTLY frazzled and they wear glasses (gasp) – but that’s not real grossness, and it’s especially not grossness combined with girliness.
Gravity Falls isn’t afraid to make Mabel both gross and “girly”, and that’s special.
Next, Mabel’s girliness feels authentic. By “girliness” I mean Mabel taking actions according to Western societal gender norms for ciswomen. I don’t mean that’s how girls have to innately be. I hate the idea that people “should” behave according to gender roles and encourage us all to express our individuality. Anyway. Yes, most women in media have girliness to them… but nothing prepared me to seeing a twelve year old girl act like the twelve year old girls I knew.
Mabel loves bright colors, rainbows, unicorns, cute boys, formal dances, boy bands, and looking cute. These are girly traits and girly interests. But the way they show Mabel, Candy, and Grenda bonding over boy talk at a sleepover? That ridiculous, unrestrained screaming, combined with the mischievous grins, is exactly the sort of stuff I grew up with. It’s not just “oh we wrote a girl who likes pink and makeup who gets catty about crushes” – it’s “oh, we wrote a girl who enjoys her girly side like a twelve year old would!”
Gravity Falls allows Mabel to live according to some elements of the gender norm. The show doesn’t tote the idea that people live without gender influence, that people live in a vacuum of culture. It shows people in society often live by some pattern of gender roles. But, the show doesn’t make Mabel be that norm or preach she should be that norm. Honestly, I don’t see many shows try to strike this balance: willing to give characters gender role interests, while still respecting that everyone is unique and doesn’t need to live by those roles. Either the shows completely drop gender roles (which can be refreshing and help us overcome our biases) or they stick too close to assumptions that your gender = your brain, which is backwards thinking.
GF doesn’t lazily pin a character with girly traits because “that’s what women are.” It doesn’t stop at some assumptive “She wears pretty boots.” It understands Mabel’s psychology, lets her express that girliness unrestrained, provides her screen time to live this (!!! screen time to girl time in an all-gender-demographic-show!!!), and allows her to intersect that girliness with her grossness and her weirdness.
Tumblr media
Next, Mabel is allowed to be confident and bold. Society isn’t good with women being bold and outspoken yet. Women often get criticized for being bossy, bitchy, obnoxious, etc. when they speak their minds and act with the confidence that men are “allowed” to have in their daily lives. And yet Mabel can be an outspoken and unrestrained character.
It works well for her age, too!
Last, Mabel is weird. Mabel has quirks. I’ve said this three hundred times and I’ll say it three hundred more, but Mabel being weird is a delight. It’s not often that women are allowed to be the ridiculous comedic side in children’s / family animation. (Yay Ruffnut for also fulfilling this role.)
Mabel is unrestricted, allowed to be a wild dork on screen. She’ll eat tubes of toothpaste because they’re sparkly, make “Mabel juice” with plastic dinosaurs in the pitchers, dress pigs in costume, knit scratch-and-sniff sweaters, slap stickers on her uncle’s nose, scream for a minute straight before coughing up glitter, dream up the centaurtaur, and more.
But it’s not just that. It’s her mindset. Mabel’s excitement for things – down to an eight legged cow having “more limbs for hugging” – is a perspective I essentially never see in stories. She’s got a way of looking at the world like no one else I know. It’s a wild, bizarre perspective… but that’s what makes her so good and human.
Mabel has a “What the heck?” vibe from her, whether it’s her interests, her thought processes, or her choices.
And frankly, that’s so much more relatable, personable, and beautiful to me… than almost any other woman I see on screen in media. When I see Mabel, I can remember what I was like as a kid.
Although I’m non-binary, I didn’t grow up knowing about non-cis gender. I grew up more or less thinking of myself as a little girl. Many of my childhood experiences were with little girls. So, when I look at old photographs of myself, I see someone with unrestrained energy, joy, and weirdness - just like Mabel.
Tumblr media
That is what kids are like, guys! That is what kids are like!
Not this weird restricted stereotype on television I see! But THIS.
So yeah.
Even just from the topic “What does Mabel bring to women’s representation in media,” Mabel is a shooting star. She’s a success. I love it. It’s freeing, exciting, and refreshing to me, being able to see a woman character given this loving treatment. I’m passionate about women being represented well in media, and not in the sense of falsely-portrayed empowerment. Mabel is the glorious three-dimensional, unique, bizarre, memorable type of girl I want!
She’s worth celebrating for all her personality traits, too: her creativity, her energy, her lightheartedness, her love for her family. But that’s content for another essay.
In short: bless Mabel Pines. Bless, bless, bless Mabel Pines.
This is a damn great character.

A Whole New World
Nuka is a man who has lived through many moments. With a temper that could rival many this five moments he’s lived through.
TW: War, Death, Slavery, Nothing in detail mainly cause I don’t want to get into the horrid details of it, But it’s part of his almost 800 years
1600’s
Nuka loved plays. Yes the man who had a temper fit for a royal king who didn’t get a dish he wanted liked to sit down and watch plays. Living on his own Nuka heard rumors about Shakespeare and his work. He heard retellings from other vampires and even some humans that saw fit to enter his personal space.
All of these stories brought Nuka to the United Kingdom. He had been around to listen to Beethoven when he first entered the scene. He sent a letter to Zira,it still only being the two of them at the moment to meet him (even though they were apart there was a connection that Nuka could not avoid) and enjoy the delight that was Shakespeare.
And colour him, impressed, Nuka had seen many things over his 300 years and he definitely knew this man would reach some type of height but he didn’t know how high exactly until another 400 years.
Nuka’s travel as a solo vampire was about to end and it was a good thing he had enjoyed the art while he had because who knew where his new sister would choose to go for her next 50 years.
1800’s
Slave trade was disgusting to watch and to witness. If it wasn’t for the fact his existence needed to be kept a secret, he was sure there would be no descendants of slave owners today. Nuka removed himself from the workings of the cities and the towns. Living by himself or visiting his Mother or Sister.
No one would even call him the crazy man who lived down the street. If anyone saw him Nuka compelled them to forget.
But there were days when even Nuka, agent of chaos and who didn’t care for humans couldn’t listen to the screams of terror and pain from others.
The vampire would silently step onto a slave owner’s land luring out a couple owners. Compelling everyone to forget the night many families were set free due to horrific animal attacks that slaughtered families but left their slaves alone.
If he was feeling generous Nuka would leave everyone with some money and wish the best of luck. He was sure many died like this but at least they had a moment to fight for what they cared about. Zira had given him the chance to fight and in a very different way Nuka had given it to them as well.
 1900’s
There is no war that Nuka participated in. Not without backup. For a nearly 700 year old vampire the man knew his limitations. He wouldn’t die but the horrors he would see, the horrors of children and the blood that was spilled. Even if it was before sundown Nuka knew he would lose himself.
There would be no human that could stop him when that fine string in his mind snapped. And when that string snapped there was no coming back for humanity. Not for him either.
There would be no Zira to reel him back in when the tragedies unfolded. This was not a point in human history that Nuka was strong enough to face by himself. The rage of this vampire sat deep in soul that he crawled back home to Zira following her lead.
If Zira was with him, they would make it through. She would stop him before he lost his mind at the meaningless death. At the wars that happened. For power, for control, for genocide. He could help on the sidelines where he wasn’t expected to kill but instead offer back up to heal and help. It truly was the only way Nuka maintained his sanity during the wars.
1950’s
While Nuka was not mentally sound for the war that didn’t mean he wasn’t sound of mind to pay attention to the civil rights movement. This was something Nuka could participate in without collectively losing him mind.
There were moments of close calls, moments that Nuka nearly ripped multiple heads off but the death that was faced was not at the same level of that of a world war.
Nuka joined in protests and on his nice days shielded those from the attacks of others always turning around with a grin that could shake anyone to the core.
It truly was amazing just how much danger some human could realize they were in, even with Nuka’s baby blues staring down a them.
Sometimes at night he’d choose the person that irritated him the most follow them home and make a snack on them. Media was getting wiser, stories were being connected and Nuka’s own bloodlust had to calm down lest he was to be discovered. Unknown to him in less than two decades he would have another brother and well this solo travelling would end. Of course Nuka never did stop attending protests. He just always had to make sure he was never caught on camera.
2000
The world was collectively freaking out. Even with parties celebrating the new year Nuka hovered in the back on a ski lodge could see the apprehension on so many faces.
Would the world collapse? Would planes fall out of the sky? Perhaps everything would blow up because the computer’s could handle the change of the new year.
Nuka of course would be fine, so would his family even Kovu. The stupid newborn. But watching all the humans freak out. Well it was better than anything currently on television.
He listened to different conversations. Watched people drink the night away and make decisions they would regret in the morning. It was really the same as any new years that Nuka had watched for the last twenty years except you had a few people crying in the corner.
Actually that was the same as every year too.
Sipping on his glass of whiskey Nuka stood to make his way to wherever his family was. Sob story as it was they were one and they were in Kovu’s newborn years.
The count started and Nuka barely paid any mind to everyone but when a girl bumped into him he couldn’t help looking her up and down settling on her neck for a moment.
“If we survive this night you should find me after.” Nuka offered setting away as the cheers went up.
Well Lookie Lookie the clocks ticked on.

The Lion King 4: Dawn of A New Era Chapter 14
Chapter 14
"Nala … Nala sweetie, wake up …"
"Huh?" Nala groaned, opening her eyes slightly. She let out a yawn as she looked up to see the blurry image of her mother standing above her. "Mom? What's going on?"
"There's been an accident." She said in a panic, breathing. "Mufasa and Simba … they … they …"
Nala shot awake and looked at Sarafina. "What!? Mom, are … are they okay!?"
Tears filled Sarafina's eyes as she slowly shook her head. "No … no baby … they … they …."
"They what?" Nala whined anxiously.
"... They're with The Great Kings of The Past now." She sighed.
Nala shakily took a step back. "The … The Great Kings of The Past …. But they … they …"
Nala burst into tears as her mother pulled her closer. "But I …. I just saw Simba this morning … I … I promised him that we'd …. We'd …. Play later …"
"Nala ..." Sarafina stroked her back with her paw.
"I … I didn't even get to say goodbye and … and I'll never get the chance to see him again or … or … or play with him again! And … and … Mufasa …. I … I … He was so mad about yesterday … I … I .. I didn't get to say sorry to him …. I …"
"Oh, Nala." Sarafina cried, pulling her closer.
They stayed like this for a few minutes until Sarafina pulled away. "I need to go talk with the other lionesses. Will you be all right on your own for a little while, hun?"
Nala sniffled but nodded.
Sarafina gave her one more loving nuzzle before heading out of the den. Nala laid there and sobbed into her paws.
Soon she couldn't bear to stay in the den anymore. The darkness and stiff air was suffocating to her. Nala forced herself up and headed towards the den entrance.
She made her way to where she had her bath yesterday and laid on the rock Sarabi had been on. Sniffling, she snuggled on top of the rock. Simba's scent was there, but it was overpowered by Sarabi's. Despite this, Nala found comfort in the vaguest hint of his scent.
"Simba …." She sniffled.
"Nala?"
Nala looked up to see Zazu fluttering above her.
"Zazu …" Nala said, hoarsely.
He landed beside her and gently put his wing on her back. "I'm … I'm sorry …"
Nala pulled Zazu closer and cried into his chest. He snuggled her gently and stroked her back lightly.
"Shh shh. It's all right." Zazu said, nuzzling her.
"They're gone …" Nala cried. "I ...I didn't get to say goodbye or … or anything!"
Zazu kept her in his embrace, trying to comfort her the best he could.
"Do .. do you think Mufasa was mad at me?" Nala looked at Zazu with teary eyes.
He frowned deeply and gripped her shoulder. "Why would he be?"
"Because Sim ...Simba and I … w … went to the … The Elephant Graveyard and we … we … almost got k … killed … by the … the … hyenas …" She sputtered out as much as she could.
"I'm sure he forgives you." Zazu said, tightening the hug. "When I was talking to him … this morning … he told me he was more worried about your safety than anything. He was just glad you were safe."
Nala sniffled and rubbed the side of her face against Zazu's chest. "Thanks Zazu …"
The two sat there in silence for a while until Nala spoke up again, "Zazu? What's going to happen now?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean …. Who's gonna be king and all that?" Nala asked.
"Oh, uh, Scar is next in line, he'll be the king of The Pride Lands." Zazu said.
"Why can't Simba's mom just stay queen?" She sniffled.
Zazu sighed. "Unfortunately, that's not how it works. One of the rulers has to be of royal blood."
"Why?"
"That's just how it's been for generations." Zazu explained. "It's tradition."
"Oh, like that bee … thingy?" She asked.
"Bethrothyal? Yes."
Nala stayed silent for a moment before giggling slightly.
"What?" Zazu asked, lightening his tone.
"Does that mean Scar's gonna betrothed?" Nala laughed.
Zazu chuckled. "No, he's old enough to choose a queen for himself."
Nala laughed a bit more. "Who would ever wanna be his queen? He's so … weird …"
"I do admit, he always has been a little … odd." Zazu added, still finding it humorous. "Although he did have a few lionesses swooning after him in his Lion Guard days."
Nala tilted her head in confusion. "Lion Guard?"
"Oh, the second born royal cub's duty is to lead The Lion Guard, the protector of The Pride Lands." Zazu explained. "Scar was Lion Guard until the power went to his head …"
Nala looked worried. "You don't think that'll happen when he's king do you?"
Zazu was silent for a moment. "I sure hope so …" He muttered under his breath.
That night all the Pride gathered at the base of Pride Rock. Scar sat on top of a small ledge of rocks, readying himself to address the lionesses. Nala hid in between Sarafina's paws, crouched low to the ground.
He sighed deeply and cleared his throat. "I have an unfortunate announcement to make today. As you all know, Mufasa and Simba have both sadly passed away today in a tragic accident."
He let out another sigh and looked at the crowd below. "It pains me deeply to have to make this speech. Mufasa's death was a terrible tragedy, but to lose Simba, who had barely begun to live …"
Nala started choking up.
"Mom!" Kiara rushed over and nuzzled her. "Mom are you okay?"
She sniffled and looked Kiara in the eyes, nodding slightly. "Yeah, it's just … hard to think about … especially now that he's …." She looked to the sky again and returned Kiara's nuzzle. "I'll be okay … I just need a moment …"
Kiara laid down beside her and let her rest her head on her. Nala relaxed she snuggled close to her daughter. "Okay, I think I'm ready to continue now …"
Nala cried, nuzzling against her mother's leg.
"For me, It is a deep, personal loss." Scar continued. "So it is with a heavy heart that I assume the throne. But I must admit … I cannot bear this burden alone, and I will need some help … to ensure the safety of the Pride."
Silhouettes of the hyenas lit up on the side of Pride Rock, followed by their maniacal laughter.
Sarabi leaned down, "Nala, stay close."
As the hyenas emerged, Scar scaled Pride Rock and concluded his speech, "Yet out of the ashes of this tragedy, we shall rise to greet the dawning of a new era … in which lion and hyena come together, in a great and glorious future!"
Nala exhaled roughly.
"Mom … do … do you think that's what's happening again?" Kiara asked, gently.
The hyenas gathered inside of Pride Rock paid attention closely for her response.
"I … I don't know .." Nala said, just barely above a whisper.
"My guard and I have determined they were harmless." Vitani vouched for them. "They probably don't even know who Scar is!"
"I know!" Nala nearly snapped. When Vitani stumbled back in fear, she softened her tone. "I'm sorry … even that first night was hell …"
Sarafina pulled Nala closer as the hyenas flooded in.
Sarabi stepped away from their side and made her way up Pride Rock, a deep growl escaping her throat.
"Scar!" Sarabi said, taking her ground in front of him. "You can't do this!"
"Can't do what?" He asked, cheekily.
"Put the Pride in danger like this!" Sarabi roared.
"Why, what ever do you mean?" Scar asked, his tone not changing.
"Letting the hyenas in!" Sarabi snarled. "You're putting us all in danger!"
"Oh, dear, sweet Sarabi, the hyenas are here for the protection of the Pride." Scar said.
"Protection? You call this protection!?" Sarabi boomed, looking at all the hyenas. "Did you forget what happened the other day!?"
Nala winced and hid even more in Sarafina's paws.
Scar stared her down slightly before continuing, "Who do you think informed me about the stampede in the first place?"
Sarabi's eyes widened before it turned into a glare. "What do you mean?"
"My top scouting hyena, Shenzi, was the one who informed me about the stampede in the gorge." Scar said.
"I did?" Shenzi asked in surprise. Realizing what he was doing, she quickly changed her tone. "Oh, yeah, yeah! I did!"
"She was too scared for her life to tell Mufasa directly, so she went to me instead." Scar sighed. "Imagine if she had been able to go to Mufasa instead of having to have me pass on the message … Oh how things could have ended much, much differently. I won't let that happen again. The hyenas are part of our Pride now. We are one."
Kovu, Kiara, and Vitani had varying degrees of perplexation based on what Scar had said in the story.
"He … didn't mean it the same way you three do." Nala said, quickly. "He was trying to make us feel safe when we really weren't … I don't think he actually believed it …"
She sighed and kept going, hoping it didn't bother the three that much.
Sarabi let out another low snarl. "What about the cubs!?"
"Oh, they're great with children!" Scar insisted, looking over at the hyenas. "Isn't that right?"
"Oh, of course we do!" Shenzi said, playing along. She made her way down from her rock perch and headed over to Sarafina. "We just looooove cubs!"
She bent down to Nala's level. "Hey, no hard feelings about the other day, right?"
Nala shook in fear as Sarafina snarled at Shenzi.
"Besides, they're raising cubs of their own." Scar said, walking over to a female hyena and her baby. He grabbed the cub between her front paws and pushed her forward so the lionesses could see. "Why would a mother injure your children?"
Sarabi examined the child closely. The hyena whimpered as she scuttled back into the safety of her mother's paws.
She looked back at Scar, still angry.
"Unless … you want to challenge me for the throne?" Scar asked, a smirk on his face as he looked at all of his hyena supporters, surrounding them both.
Sarabi huffed and took a step back. Scar grinned.
"Trust me." He said. "This partnership will work perfectly."
He turned towards the den entrance. "We should rest now, it's been a long day."
The lionesses hesitantly made their way to the den of Pride Rock, … as did the hyenas who rushed in.
Sarafina clamped Nala securely in her jaw as she headed up to Pride Rock.

TLK: A Thousand Years
Fanfic below
“Let’s name him Bahari. Er- No, wait! Maybe Tangawizi, sounds kinda spicy and edgy!” said a male voice from a cave just outside the Pridelands.
“How do you know it’ll be a boy?” asked a female.
“Well, it’s all I can really come up with. Besides, you don’t know if it’ll be a girl!”
The pregnant lioness rolled her eyes and sighed, “At least come up with a feminine-sounding name, honey.”
“That can work for any cub!”
Huzuni raised her eyebrows impatiently. She was not gonna dwell on this the whole day.
Chumvi huffed, “Hrrrgh, fine! Alright. Ummm... Hasira?”
“That’s a tad harsh.”
“Ack,” Chumvi shrugged and swing his paws in front of himself in disbelief, “you asked for feminine! I thought feminine AND edgy would satisfy us both!”
“What about something softer like..... Shauriana?”
“I’ll admit, that is beautiful. But.... you got any other ideas in case it’s a boy, though?”
“Kanusho?”
Chumvi arched an eyebrow, “I thought you didn’t want a harsh name...”
“Hmmm...” Huzuni glanced up in thought. She suddenly remembered what had lingered in the back of her mind all day. Ever since she met Chumvi’s sister and friends, she felt this… relief, a reassurance that not all prides were unwelcoming and in fact were friendly because they were a pride. Ever since they said if they were able to, they’d make her one of them. She felt… accepted.
“How about... Kukubalika?” she finally suggested.
Chumvi scoffed, “No way, that’s too long to even remember.”
“We can call him ‘Kooky’ for short.” Huzuni smirked.
Chumvi winced, “Oh, heck no.”
Huzuni chuckled. She couldn’t wait to celebrate her acceptance with the birth of her cub.
_______
Huzuni was due any day now. No, it felt like any minute now. The lioness had been going through contractions that woke her up one morning. But these contractions were unbearably painful. Did all lionesses go through this?
Chumvi and Huzuni were taking a walk. The male was unaware of his mate’s pain. But that was all because she didn’t tell him as she had a notorious habit of hiding what was wrong with her. Soon, a contraction pulled Huzuni to the ground.
Chumvi caught Huzuni during her collapse, “Whoa, whoa, whoa! What’s happening to you?”
Huzuni winced and panted, “Chumvi, I-I think it’s time!”
Before Chumvi could respond, he heard a distant cackle. The hyenas that chased the insolent male lion months earlier finally caught up to him, spotting him out in the open. Huzuni heard it too, her heart dropping at the familiar sound.
“W-What was that?” the lioness nervously stuttered.
“Oh no, it’s the hyenas that chased me before!” he hurriedly walked Huzuni back to the cave.
Huzuni burst into a panic, “What?”
“Hey, hey, hey-”
“Why didn’t you tell me you were being chased by hyenas?!” Huzuni hyperventilated and started to cry a bit, the trauma of the hyena attack from her cubhood coming back to her.
“Hey, hey, hey, hey!” Chumvi gently laid Huzuni down in a secure part of the cave, “I’ll hold ‘em off. Please don’t stress out. It’s not good for you right now. I need you to focus on the baby.”
Huzuni nodded and pushed. Chumvi couldn’t decide if he should help her or fend off the hyenas. The hyenas sounded like they were coming sooner than the baby.
Chumvi kissed his mate’s forehead, “Remember, focus. You can do this. I’ll be right back!”
Huzuni pushed harder, panting uncontrollably. Everything felt so hot all of a sudden. She felt horribly dizzy and shaky. The push caused another painful shift, but the cub still wasn’t out. A loud roar slipped from her lips as she gave the last push. She could be heard from outside the cave.
Not good.
The hyenas followed the source of the noise and rushed near the entrance, only to be blocked by Chumvi. He did not let them any further inside. Meanwhile, the cub was finally properly born, but with a price…
Huzuni took the cub by the scruff of its neck and placed it between her arms. Fighting off her dizziness and heavy breathing, she gazed upon her beautiful baby boy. Her cub was born, but not without massive blood loss along the way. Not a normal sign of labor.
Huzuni knew what was coming. As a rogue, she knew what it was like to almost die, This felt much closer to death than all of those other times. Starvation, dehydrations, and infections did not compare to this.
Knowing these would be her last minutes on this Earth, she mustered up the strength in her voice to hush her mewing baby with her final lullaby.
“I have died everyday, waiting for you. Darling, don't be afraid... I have loved you for a thousand years...  I'll love you for a thousand more.”
Huzuni felt her body begin to drop. The cub still mewed, the lioness gently shushed him as she caressed his cheek with a paw. She continued her song.
“...all along I believed, I would find you. Time has brought your heart to me, I have loved you for a thousand years... I'll love you for a thousand... more...”
Huzuni felt her cheek touch the floor. Despite her vision fading, all she saw were the highlights of her life flashing before her eyes. Her mother’s tales, the hyena that marked the start of her life to come, her hellish, unforgiving life as a rogue, the lion that brought her out of that hell.
She closed her eyes tightly. Her life would now be free of worry as her soul escaped all of her past and possible future troubles.
Huzuni went limp. She was free now.
Chumvi finished wearing the hyenas out by running and performing sharp turns that required much stamina. He ran home, still full of energy from the chase. Nothing stopped him more abruptly than what lay before him.
The lion froze as his eyes fell upon the sight of his mate lying dead in a pool of blood. The flies already gathering around the lioness’ gray, motionless corpse. The living cub mewed as it blindly wandered away from his mother.
Chumvi rushed after his son to keep him from possibly squirming out of the cave. He looked back up and began to sob uncontrollably, getting up to nuzzle Huzuni’s cooling body.
“B-a-aby! P-lease, n-o!”
He barely looked up as he heard the hyenas returning. Above the laughter of hyenas, he heard the mewing of his cub. He looked down at his new responsibility, pulling it closer to his chest.
“I promise I’ll keep him safe, baby.” he knew that’s what Huzuni may have wanted.
The hyenas burst through the entrance, creating a circle around the new father. What broke the circle, however, were hyenas that made way for something. Behind them entered a lioness. Chumvi’s teary eyes widened as his jaw dropped.
“Zira…”
The lioness by that name grinned evilly. She puffed out her chest as she gazed down at the runaway lion. She stifled an urge to laugh as she looked down at the pathetic lion that lied on the floor crying.
Chumvi growled, “These filthy hyenas shall perish for all they’ve done. Taking the Pridelands and the lives of our loved ones! Us lions will prevail!”
“Oh, is that so?” Zira cooed, “That’ll be the day.”
Chumvi was shocked, realizing Zira, unlike the other lionesses in Scar’s pride, was affiliated with these hyenas. He was all alone now.
“Kill him.”
In a snap, the hyenas tore Chumvi apart. He let out a final, garbled roar.
Under the commotion squirmed a baby cub, whose squeaks in distress were heard by the lioness. Zira walked up to it and got a closer look at its features.
The baby’s eyes finally opened to the first lioness he’d ever seen in his life, revealing beautiful, emerald green irises. Zira gasped.
He looked just like her beloved Scar.
Meanwhile, the hyenas, unaware of what their lioness was looking at, knew it was their job to eliminate any male lion on sight, so they charged after the baby cub.
Zira leapt over the cub and swiped at the hyenas, “STOP, YOU FOOLS!”
She glanced all around before composing herself, “We’re taking this one home. I have… a great use for this cub.”
Zira looked down at the cub, giving him the unmistakable look of possession and determination. She caressed his cheek, a sinister grin creeping up her face as she thought up a brilliant name in homage to her king.
“I’m going to have my beloved Scar say ‘hello’ to his new heir. My new son…..
Kovu.”
THE END.

Masterlist of Ships Subtropes
Dynamic tropes
Puppy love
Romance between children.
Examples: Gendry x Arya, Arnold x Helga, Mike x Eleven, Shaoran x Sakura
Childhood Acquaintance
They meet when they were children, regardless of the frequency or how close they were. They may have been raised together, may have saw each other every now and then, or even just once.
Used to be Friends
Examples: Petyr x Catelyn; Erik x Christine; Mina x Lucy
Used to be Lovers
Couples that were officially together (At least had sex) before everything went to hell. Ships that only flirted, such as Anna/David (The Guest) and Jackson/Lisa (Red Eye) are not included.
Examples: Athos x Milady; Tom x Elizabeth (The Blacklist); Dolores x William
Love Makes You Evil
A character who was originally good but did things for love that turn him to the dark side.
Examples: Anakin, Petyr Baelish and Claude Frollo
Love Makes You Crazy
A character driven to the brick of sanity because of love.
Example: Claude Frollo from Notre Dame de Paris and Ram from Princess Daisy
Not So Different After All
Opposites/rivals/enemies that actually have many hidden similarities. They are canonically each other’s shadow and are compared as two sides of the same coin.
Example: Anne x Vincent, Steerpike x Fuchsia, Kylo x Rey, Jackson x Lisa
Love Beyond Death
Meeting in the after-life, meeting reincarnation or person coming back from the dead.
Example: Catherine x Heathcliff, Petyr x Catelyn, Dracula x Mina, Naraku x Kikyo
Dragging You to the Gutter with Me
A villain turns a heroine into a brutal lonely broken thing only he can understand what it’s like to be, and still she won’t come to him. So what keeps them together is also what keeps them apart. Read more.
Example: Naraku and Kikyo; Alina and Darkling; Petyr and Catelyn; Dolores and William
In Love with the Mark
A man who works for some really big, bad guys. He may or not believe in their ideology; that is not the point. He is there for the money and he prides himself of his professionalism. For some reason, this organization working on the shadows have “business” to deal with this ordinary everyday woman. So he is hired to stalk, threaten, or even kill her. Turns out, Stalking is Love, and he develops feelings for his target. That doesn’t stop him from keeping up with the job, thought. He had to be undercover to get closer, so cases of Used to be Lovers/Friends are probably included. You will likely hear from a character In Love With the Mark the quote “It wasn’t personal.”
Example: Jack/Angela; Jackson/Lisa; Vincent/Anne; Tom/Lizzie (Jacob/Masha); Skye/Ward
The Queen and her Champion
Woman occupies traditionally feminine roles of power and the man is an example of masculinity for others. She uses clever words, social understanding and schemes. He is her sword and her armor, but nothing more. Because of their different stances, he is bound to be close to her he protects, but never with her.
Examples: Maly and Alina; Zelda and Link; Lancelot and Guinevere; Rhaenyra Targaryen and Criston Cole; Daenerys and Ser Jorah; Every Elizabeth Tudor romance, Queen Anne and Aramis; Lucrezia and Cesare; Cersei and Jaime.
Art Inspires Love
When character A realizes or falls (more) in love with character B after watching him dance, sing, or doing something artistic.
Examples: Frollo/Esmeralda, Christine/Erik, Hap/Prairie, Isaura/Leôncio, Anne/Vincent, Sandor/Sansa and Babydoll/Blue Jones.
Supernatural Connection
The characters have a psychic or physical connection. Maybe they can communicate through telepathy or can feel each other’s presence and emotions when they are nearby. There might be a spell connecting their hearts in a way one can only die when the other one does. Maybe they are twins. Whatever the reason, these characters are bonded in a way no one else could be.
Examples: Kylo x Rey, Nuada x Nuala, Darkling x Alina and Cersei x Jaime.
The Frollo Effect
A guy falls in love with a girl he is suppose to reject, repulse or dehumanize, and fights against it. By trying to suppress it, her converts love into hatred against her and himself, and probably punishes both hoping it will make the feeling go away. It does not work and the guy starts doing things he never thought he was capable of in order to deal with this unbearable need. He is usually proud, rational and very in control of himself until she comes along. Her initial dismissal as a suitor commonly starts out as social expectation - in which the characters are from divergent social segments and ideologically separated -, but it’s always a expectation the guy has over himself, regardless if anyone else imposes this on him.
Examples: Esmeralda x Frollo (Gypsy and priest), Amon x Helen (Jew and nazi), Isaura x Leôncio (Slave and master), Daisy x Ram (Sister and brother), William x Dolores (Host and guest) and Hap x Prairie (Subject and scientist)
Bonding undercover
When the bad guy pretends to be a normal person long enough to befriend the good girl and make her fall in love with him. This is usually how tragically two-sided vxh happens, because she gets to know his other side before the bad one gets in the way, but they can still have a happy ending because it also establishes they could have the base for a healthy relationship if only he could abandon his malicious quest. This only happens when the girl develops deeply romantic feelings for him; if it's only a crush or devilish attraction (Red Eye, The OA and Agents of SHIELD) than it doesn't count. She must be sobbing on the floor when this is done. May also involve an amnesia period in which the antagonist approaches the hero as an old friend or a lover.
Examples: Steerpike and Fuchsia, Christine and Erik, Kiara and Kovu, Elizabeth and Tom, Dracula and Vanessa
Generation Parallel
A love story doesn’t end up well. Years later another generation repeats the first one in a slightly different manner. Most of the time, the parallel between the two affairs means the characters from the first one have the chance to develop as we wished they would, and that their love might have grown roots under a different field. Sometimes it just means shit happens no matter the circumstances, and that people will make the same mistakes of their elderlies despite that they should have known better by now. If we are talking about the first generation’s offspring (Incest not necessarily included), it might mean their love is on their DNA and they would fall over and over again under different names and places. In any case, this trope is the romantic side of History Repeats Itself.
Very common theme in incest, because their birth requires a previous affair between their parents, but it only counts if it is a story on its own, full of ups and downs, and people talk about it. If it’s not mentioned or important to the plot, there is no point in calling it Generation Parallel.
Examples: Jaime and Cersei (Joana and Tywin), Arya and Gendry/Jon (Lyanna and Robert/Rhaegar), Catherine and Hareton (Cathy and Heathcliff), Abby and Henry (Wakefield and Sarah), Rey and Kylo (Padme and Anakin), Isaura and Leôncio (Almeida and Juliana), Leonardo e Marina (Pilar e Murilo).
Roaring Rampage of Romance
Love that starts a war and the main plot. Characters that destroy cities and galaxies because Love Made Them Evil, because they are trying to be with whom they love or to secure their safety and happiness. It might be on purpose, in which they have foreseen the consequences but choose to take them anyway as a means to an end, or it was accidental. There may be decades of conflict and the count of a hundred corpses, or maybe a famous massacre with a handful dead extras. Maybe a murderer is hunting down everyone on an Island so that he can be alone with his beloved. Anyway, innocent people that had nothing to do with them nor interfered with the couple’s happiness will suffer the collateral damage.
Common trope among royalty, since marrying or bearing the children of someone you were not supposed to could have disastrous consequences to the State, still people would do it for love.
If the character is causing the rampage in search for something else, like power, and to secure his beloved is an incidental bonus, it isn’t considered Roaring Rampage of Romance, unless he is doing it because Love Has Made Him Evil. Alina/Darkling and Nuada/Nuala, for instance, don’t fit this category.
Examples: Penny Dreadful, Inuyasha, ASoIaF (Rhaegar x Lyanna, Jaime x Cersei, Petyr x Catelyn), Harper’s Island, Westworld, Notre Dame de Paris, Wuthering Heights, The Phantom of the Opera, Bram Stroker’s Dracula, Apollo and Cassandra, Star Wars (Anakin and Padmé)
Taboo Tropes
Incest
Self-explanatory. Cousins will not be considered incest in here. I’m brazilian.
Subtrope: Decadent Aristocrats
Ho Yay
Homosexual couples
Age gap
Ships with age gap between then, 10 years at least. Supernatural/immortal beings won’t be taken into account unless the other part is a child or coming of age.
Wife Husbandry
A man adopts or temporarily takes care of a little girl. She may or not develop a precocious crush on him. Little girl grows up into a extraordinary and desirable woman. She had him on a pedestal all these years and has been saving herself for him. Man is distressed bc he can’t reconcile the image of the child he cherished as a father and the provoking woman she turned out to be. He mostly resists her advances, but they work that out by the end.
Example: Older!Mathilda/Leon AU, Nancy/Hartigan (Sin City), Veronica/William (Final Girl)
Development Tropes
End game ship
Is not everyday an OTP becomes end game
AU ship
A.k.a. “Canon? Who needs canon?” ships. OTPs that had a lot of potential but were ruined by canon. So either I ignore the end they were given, either some parts in the middle. Unlike Not Canon ships, these were meant to be romantically involved, but the way it was executed ruined it.
Secondary Interest ship
That One Scene ships are the ones with nothing shippable except for one or two scenes. Sometimes is not even canon and are more anti-recs than anything, but it’s still about villain x heroine, so it’s relevant to this blog.
Not canon
Word of God stayed silent and, according to my best judgment, the subtext was not enough. If something sexual or romantic happens between the characters but isn’t based on desire, such as the villain seducing the heroine for his advantage, it’s not canon.
Example: Scream (Billy/Sidney), Kim Possible (Kim/Shego), Mulan (Mulan x Shan Yu), World Without End (Carys x Edward), Sky High (Layla x Warren), Star Wars (Obi-Wan x Padmé), Richard III (Anne x Richard), Tesis (Angela x Bosco)

Perfect
Pairing: young!sirius black x reader
Requested: obv
Warnings: mild swearing
Word count: 1892
Sirius Black and (Y/N) (Y/L/N) had been best friends sincetheir first year at Hogwarts, and had been dating for the last 3 months.Everyone could agree that they were the hottest couple at Hogwarts.
“Hey love!” she heard her boyfriend’s voice
“Hi Sirius” she said, giving him a peck on the cheek “Areyou going to Hogsmead tomorrow?”
“No, I’ll stay here, enjoy the silence for a while.”
“So you’re going to leave me all alone?” she pouted
“I know you better than that, besides, you’ll have the restof the gang with you…”
“Fine, but I’ll miss you…” she said
“Who wouldn’t?” he answered cheekily, earning a smack on theshoulder by (Y/N)
“Ok, well, I gotta go to class!”
Sirius sighed, hisgirlfriend  was a Slytherin, meaning thatthey only had one class together on Fridays, and then, he didn’t get to see herin the afternoon since she had Quiditch practice. It was a weird relationship, since, because of his family, he never would’ve guessed that they could’ve beensuch good friends, let alone dating. But she had indeed stole his heart. Therest of the marauders had accepted her as one of them too, since she became ananimangus with them to help Remus with his ‘furry little problem’.
“So, Sirius won’t be coming tomorrow at Hogsmead, huh?”asked Hazel Kovu, a Ravenclaw in her age
“What my boyfriend does, or doesn’t do, is his business, andhis business alone” she answered “Now, if you wouldn’t mind, I’m going to class”
“Are you okay, I saw you talking to Kovu…” said Isla(pronounced Ai-la), one of her best friends at school
“Yeah, she was just asking about Sirius, again”
“Oh god, what does she want with him now?”
“Nothing, she was just eavesdropping, and heard that he’ll  be staying here tomorrow”
“That can’t be good…” sighed Isla, and (Y/N) nodded “so, we’restill going tomorrow right?”
“Of course, with the rest of the marauders”
“Yup, now come on, we’ll be late for class”
-
(Y/N), Isla, James,Remus and Peter had a great time at Hogsmead. They went to Honeydukes, to buysweets, they bought book, quils, and last but not least they visited Zonko’sJoke Shop, to buy pranking supplies.
“I’m going to head back now.” Said (Y/N)
“What? Why?” asked remus
“I just feel bad for leaving Sirius all alone”
“Fine, but I’m staying” said Isla and the rest of the boysnodded
(Y/N) headed backto the castle alone, not being able to wait any longer to spend some time alonewith her boyfriend. Or so she thought.
She arrived at thecastle, and headed towards the Gryffindor common room, she wasn’t sure how shewas going to get in, but she would find a way. She was interrupted though bythe sound of someone laughing, Sirius. She turned around and headed towards thesource of the noise, only to find her boyfriend, Sirius Black, and the personshe hated most, Hazel Kovu, laughing together like some sort of old friends.
“Sirius?” she struggled to keep her voice steady
‘Oh, uh (Y/N), what are you doing here so early?” he asked
“I was hoping to keep you company, but it seems like you gotthat all worked out…” she said, her eyes filling with tears
“Wait, no! (Y/N)!” but he didn’t get a chance to explainsince she ran towards the dungeons.
He triedto follow her, but a hand stopped him.
“What are you doing?” he asked Hazel
“Come on, is it really worth the trouble?”
“Of course it is!”
“What I meant to say, is that, she didn’t even give you achance to explain yourself, so why should you go running after her?”
“What the hell Kovu, of course I should go after her becauseshe is my girlfriend, but now, thanks to you, she’s already in the slithering commonroom, and I don’t have the password!” he said, while walking away from her
-
(Y/N) had been crying for hours now, of course he had done somethinglike that, why would the infamous Sirius Black date her, when he can have agirl like Hazel Kovu? That’s why he wanted to stay here. ‘Enjoy the silence’ myass! He was cheating on her, plain and simple!
“(Y/N)? What the hell happened?” she heard Isla’s voice
“Sirius was apparently enjoying the silence, alongside withHazel Kovu, that’s what happened!” she said between sobs
“That little bitch! I’ll end him! But, hey, it’s his loss, Imean come on! You’re (Y/N) (Y/L/N)! You’re the best thing that happened to him,and he lost it!”
“Yeah, right! I get it, y’know! I mean, why would he want mewhen he can have Kovu, right? With her long legs, pretty face…”
Isla couldn’tfind a way to respond to that, because, in fact, Hazel Kovu was one of theprettiest girls in their year, so she just held her best friend as she cried.
-
“I screwed up, Prongs, I screwed up real good…” he said thatnight
“Well, you did! WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING!” shoutedRemus
“I wasn’t!”
“YEAH, NO SHIT SHELOCK! HOW COULD YOU? AND WITH ISLA KOVU!”shouted James
“I’m sorry! Okay, I just-K didn’t think it was so much of adeal!” said Sirius, his eyes actually filling with tears
“Ok, but you have to do something..” said Peter, his voicesofter realizing how sad Sirius was
-
The next morning, (Y/N) and Isla didn’t sit with themarauders at the Gryffindor table, but at their own table with Lucius Malfoyand the rest of his friends.
“Hey, I heard what happened with you and my brother” said Regulus,Sirius’s brother
“Yeah, well, he’s a douchebag, I think we can all agree, butcan we please talk about something else?”
“Whatever you like, little one.” Said Lucius
“Don’t call me that!” said (Y/N), slapping him playfully onthe arm
“Not our fault you’re so short…” said Regulus, hugging Islasince they were dating
“Whatever” she sais, completely ignoring the Gryffindorcoming towards her
“(Y/N), can we, can we talk?” asked Sirius
“So, how do you guys think you did on Slughorn’s test?” shesaid, ignoring him
“(Y/N)! Please, just let me talk to you!”
“Look, Black, it’s clear she doesn’t want to, now why don’tyou leave before you add us to your list of problems, huh?” said Lucius
“Nobody asked for your opinion, Malfoy, now let me talk tomy girlfriend”
Just then, Isla jumped of her seat andpunched him square in the nose.
“Now, you can either leave or you can add a black eye inyour collection, alongside with your broken nose” she said
   Sirius sighed andleft.
-
“So, how did it go?” asked James
“Like you didn’t see!” said Sirius “She hates my guts!”
“Well, give her some more time…” said Remus
“And Malfoy and my brother act like they’re her protectorsor something”
“You can’t be jealous of Malfoy, or your brother…” saidPeter
“I am not! I simply don’t like her hanging around with thembecause they’ll change her!”
“Whatever you say mate…”
“Regulus, STOP! You know I’m ticklish!” they heard her voice
Sirius was fumingwith anger, so James, Remus and Peter stood upn and dragged him out, before hecould do something he would regret
“And, I mean, Isla literally punched me! I though she was myfriend…”
“Well, she was until you cheated on her best friend…”
“I didn’t cheat!”
“We know, but they think you did!”
-
The day had passedslowly, (Y/N) was ignoring Sirius completely, choosing to hang out with hisbrother, Malfoy and some other guys. And Sirius was practically mad withjealousy. That’s how the rest of the week went, until, on Tuesday, Sirius couldn’ttake it anymore.
“I miss her so damn much, Prongs! How the hell did I manageto do this!”
“We know, look, Pads, at this stage, just speaking to herwon’t do! You have to do something big…” said James, sighing. Over the courseof that week, one minute couldn’t go by without Sirius declaring how much hemissed her. He was a mess, dark  cirlesunder his eyes, messy hair, and he wasn’t eating properly!
-
“I miss him so much Isla” said (Y/N)
“I know, maybe you should give him a chance to explain toyou what happened?” Isla tried to convince her friend, she was a mess. Sherefused to eat properly, and she spent the majority of her time crying.
“No, if he truly wanted to get back with me, he would’vetried harder to speak to me…” said (y/N) firmly
-
“I swear to god, Malfoy’s changing her!” said Sirius
“How come?” asked Remus
“Last night, she was with Malfoy and Flint, when they weremaking fun of a Hufflepuf first year, and she didn’t stop them”
“Look, I think she just misses you mate, okay, you shouldtry to al least talk to her once more”
“Why, the only thing she does is ignore me”
“Hi James, Remus, Peter” she said as she passed them in thecorrido
“See! It’s like I’m invisible!” exclaimed Sirius as theyentered the Great Hall
“come on Pads, we’ll find a solution” said Peter
Just then, they heard(Y/N) giggle, and turned around, only to see Malfoy with one hand around herwaist.
“As if!” said Sirius as he got up and marched towards them
“Oh, this should be good..” said James
-
(Y/N) was ignoredthe black haired boy as he marched towards her with determination. But shecouldn’t ignore him when he kissed her forcefully. Now, someone might thinkthat she would push him away, but she couldn’t resist the kiss and melted intoit to.
“Look, I know this doesn’t fix anything, but I ad to get youto notice me. I refuse to sit by and let the person I love the most in thisworld change because I am the stupidest person in the world. I’m not going totry to explain myself because I know that you don’t want to hear it, but I justwanted to tell you that I wanted to go after you, but that bitch Kovu stoppedme, the past week I’ve been a complete wreck without you, because you’re one ofthe few reasons that keep me going during the endless summer with my family, that if I didn’t kiss you one last time, I would probably explode because ofthe fact that I simply can’t resist those beautiful lips of yours, that Kovuisn’t even half as pretty, intelligent, funny and perfect as you. Because, eventhough nobody’s perfect, you are in my eyes” said Sirius once they pulledapart, he hesitated for a moment to wait and see if she had to say anything, but when she didn’t, he turned around and started walking back towards he Gryffindortable.
“Sirius black don’t you dare take another step!” he heard(Y/N)’s voice
“What the hell took you so long” she said, this time beingthe one that closes the gap between them
Once they pulled apart,he pulled her in a tight hug, burying his face in her hair as the marauders,Lucius, Regulus and the rest of their friends erupted to cheers.
