Singing the Litany of the Saints since childhood is such an Experience™.

You start by hearing those weird names and then you learn their stories, you hear their poems, you discover how your faith has been passively shaped by their lives and love stories with God and everytime you sing the Litany you recognize new friends and distant family members. You hear their name and their letters, poems, lives, friendships, miracles, sufferings come to mind, and although you know that you will never have any idea what it was like to live by faith in their time and in the place they lived, you know their prayers are the reason you're here and their lives shaped yours in a way you will never ever understand.

I don't know man, I just love the Saints and our Blessed Mother so much i could talk about it for hours.

The first time I devoted myself to a saint was to #Saint Therese of Lisieux #who lived in a Carmel years and years after Therese of Avila reformed them #i'm just overwhelmed #communion of saints #catholic #faith
