I am seeing posts bullying and even telling others to kill themselves because they plan to vote for Biden, despite Biden's blatant endorsement of Isreal. I've even seen people saying things like "even as a non-American, I know you guys have a Socialist party. Vote for that" as if that's an option. Personally, and I am certain several of my other fellow Americans feel this way as well, I would LOVE to cast my vote to the Socialist party. But living in America, that's just not possible. We do not have the luxury of voting for the people we want to. We live under a government that has spent decades dividing the nation so that the two-party system is seen as the only viable form of democracy to the American people, while simultaneously meddling in world affairs and overthrowing small socialist nations with capitalist coups and then forcing their economies to tank just to show the American people just how bad the big bad S is. And we have slurped it up. As someone who has had leftist ideals for more than a decade, I have only within the past few years felt I could use that label because even I was afraid of the capitalist's boogeyman. A majority of the people I know wouldn't dare consider socialism or even leftism a good, citizen-friendly political system. And so, they are going to vote on the two running for office, which is looking to be Biden and Trump right now. Yes, Biden is a racist pedophile with very a questionable ability to cognitively navigate a presidency, and who also supports a full-on genocide. I would not want to vote for Biden in a million years. He's a shit guy, and has been for his whole career and likely before that too. Trump, however, is significantly more alarming. Trump is the person Netanyahu is drooling over to win the election, and let me tell you why. If you haven't, please do your research on Project 2025. If Trump or another Republican wins the primary, the Republican's plan includes a very alarming, and blatantly fascist playbook. The most notable pages include placing the entire executive branch under direct presidential control (eliminating the independence of the Department of Justice, the Federal Communications Commission, the Federal Trade Commission, and other agencies), further militarizing the police, cracking down on immigration (some are predicting our own genocide, beginning with our management of the US/Mexico border), placing a nationwide ban on abortion and undesirable media, targeting LGBTIQIA and other marginalized communities, and ultimately destroying the wall between church and state to create a Christian nationalist government. They are not being subtle about it; you can read the manifesto here. America, a leading world power with an obese military and other friends in low places, is set to become very fascist if the Republicans win. This could ultimately change the course of world politics as many other countries within the West are increasingly leaning fascist. Americans are not going to suddenly discover the third party and vote for it. They will be participating in the two party system. We have no choice to do so as well, or it may be decades before we get it turned back around. By then it will certainly be far too late for Palestine and all the other lives that will be lost along the way. Don't even get me started on climate change. The stakes are immense. Americans, It is your right to choose not to vote, or to vote for a third party during this primary. But this will be a slap to the face of POC, immigrants, LGBTQIA, people with disabilities, the working class, and several other targeted groups, of which there will be many. Bullying people for trying to prevent this is not going to put you on the side of history you want it to. When I vote for Biden, I will absolutely be thinking about how much I detest his stance on Isreal and the rest of his presidency and personality to boot. But I will be hoping against all hope this action is able to curb the right before they place us all in chains, if they'll have us alive at all.

This is something I bet Stolas never really did before, and he also is shown going out of his way to ask Blitzø if he just wants to meet up talk, nothing sexual whatsoever. He just wants to see Blitzø again.

But this scares Blitzø. Due to his fears of abandonment, he feels like he can’t let anyone close. Blitzø would rather leave other people before they can leave him. He makes that clear separation especially with Moxxie lots of the time, mainly only Loona being spared from it all. Don’t get me wrong, he clearly has feelings for Stolas as well. But it just makes it worse for Blitzø. Since he cares about Stolas back, he can get hurt. So instead, he just doesn’t properly respond to all of the gestures to just hang out.

As Stolas starts to reach out to Blitzø more..

some thoughts i have abt amulet bc recently I've been thinking abt it a lot

- if max wasn't killed off he could have had an interesting arc

- if riva is gonna play a big role in waverider (she probably will tbh) she should have been introduced sooner and/or been in firelight

- emily just wanted to save her mother and now she's in this mess. i know she's the "chosen one" but i still sort of don't like leon for pushing emily into this

- trellis' redemption arc is way early compared to others

- if any ship is gonna end up canon it's most likely gonna be nalyson (I think that's the ship name?)

- is it just me or in supernova didn't vigo propose riva help trellis lead the elves? which could be seen as platonic but who knows??

That feeling when you are just a skittish person so you get spooked and "scream" (make a loud noise) when someone walks up to you sometimes and when that happens someone is just like "oh wow you are hard to live with, you should work on yourself you are not in danger here so stop getting spooked bc thats loud and anoying" and then they are miffed at you for getting spooked??? And you are just like huh?!? Im not? Doing it on purpose?!? I am just like that?!? What the fuck am i supposed to do against that? i’m kinda obsessed w tim and cass in bg 2000 issue 58 because he’s just lost his dad & steph, just moved to bludhaven and yet. cass is like ‘i don’t know how he can joke like this i don’t know how he can be this cheerful.’ this is her first time experiencing grief and she has no clue how tim’s holding up. if you read robin from around that time he’s like 100% falling apart but he’s putting on a total front. he’s been through the loss of a parent & hell, he’s lost friends before now too (slobo and darla come straight to mind).

but cass, she literally doesn’t have the ability to comprehend her grief. she’s never lost anything or anyone before. she says she’s never had a friend before steph -- and indeed, steph was the one to make really consistent overtures at friendship towards cass over & over again -- so this loss is just. so painful she can’t talk about it. ARGGH!

plus tim wanders around cass’s apartment in just the red underwear over his green leggings and looks like a total fool so there’s that too. very very funny. there’s like these close ups of his face & he’s like totally haggard with sunken eyes and then the page’ll zoom out & he’s just in the bottom half of the robin costume what a loser

then they beat each other to shit for therapeutic purposes like true bats lol (yes ik this is bg 59 but it’s relevant here!)

am i the only person who didn't like the movie coraline? don't get me wrong, the stop-motion animation was DIVINE and i love the whole creepy vibe. but coraline herself was just such an unlikeable character. and not even in the complex flawed protagonist way. she's just a brat and she never changes.

i think it's mainly because i read the book and coraline was a lot more likeable and relatable in it, and she was still a flawed character. i just hated every moment of movie coraline, especially her interactions with wybie. they turned her from a shy and introverted but good-natured girl to your typical edgy teenager™.

I think SUNTAN shippers tend to get annoying since a lot comment on how “SUNFLOWER IS SO PROBLEMATIC!!!! ANYWAYS SUNTAN BETTER!!!!” especially those on tiktok. They also do tend to spread lies of SUNFLOWER being toxic and that they’re codependent (they’re not really??? I mean, you could interpret it as such, but please do realize that the signs are present in almost all BASIL ships as well. None of his interactions in-game are “good”, especially the ones with AUBREY. and SUNNY.). SUNTAN shippers also do tend to get annoying with like… stuff like the pinwheel placing. You could take that as SUNTAN proof yes but like… BASILHERO and stuff like that does also exist… And like, the dynamics are almost the same every time. It’s just sad wet depressed cat and happy dog. They also do tend to not acknowledge that KEL might be the one to forgive SUNNY and BASIL first. It might be HERO, AUBREY even. Just because KEL is the way he is, doesn’t mean he’ll forgive them first. Also like? Make KEL sad in a situation that isn’t just SUNNY killing himself. Please.

PHOTOBOMB shippers…. They’re actually pretty okay!! The only thing I dislike is when they call the BASIL in other ships “watered down” or misinterpreted for a totally wrong reason. I saw a take where one said that BASIL wasn’t concerned about SUNNY and instead was concerned about what SUNNY can do for him and put SUNNY’s needs second which isn’t the case. It really isn’t! BASIL was hallucinating in that fight. He genuinely believed SOMETHING was there. He wanted to protect him, because he truly believes that SOMETHING is there. BASIL is also scared of SUNNY leaving because he was one of the only ones who actually listened to his vents and rants enough to know almost everything about him. He’s panicking, and for a good reason. He doesn’t know if the truth will ever be revealed. The guilt eats him up alive everyday, the lies, the deception, it eats him up and leaves him paranoid. Which is why he acts the way he is in the fight. It’s his last chance to at least get the truth out, to see SUNNY again, but because of his hallucinations and delusions, the fight ended up happening.

That being said. I do also have a problem with the ones that don’t recognize that bullying is in fact abuse. I’m not calling AUBREY an abuser, but she Did do fucked up things. She was a horrible person, but she wasn’t evil. He’s not calm because he understands, he’s calm because he thinks the one at fault. He thinks he deserves it. He understands, yes, but that’s not why he’s calm. He’s calm because he genuinely thinks there’s something wrong with him, and that he’s the one who needs to adjust. Technically, what she did Is abuse, since bullying is considered abuse. It doesn’t matter if it was verbal abuse at first, it still counts as it. Verbal bullying is STILL bullying. It’s a pretty gray area when it comes to AUBREY, because I don’t want to be too harsh and call her an abuser, but yeah. She was a horrible person, not evil, but one with many mistakes and one who needs to actually atone. Words and feelings don’t matter without actions, much like how actions don’t matter much without the words. They need confirmation that you actually mean it, much like how they need confirmation you’re doing it because you’re sorry.

Also like. Most victims of bullying and/or abuse tend to feel for their abuser if they were previously close to them. Especially if they had a familial relationship or a friendship relationship. That’s what most people that ship it tend to not notice. PHOTOBOMB will take a lot of months, maybe years even to start communicating as close as they were in the past. They will have a phase where they have to heal. I’m sorry, but if you ship SUNTAN and PHOTOBOMB just because SUNFLOWER is toxic, you uh…. I don’t know. If you ship it for different reasons, I don’t mind, but that specific reason is bullshit lmao.
