i like the idea of jaybabs. Jason has been through a lot of pain and trauma in his life. would be nice to see him find solace and love in babs dont you think?

I do! I think Babs’s attitude could also help Jason, like, let things go a little bit.

I’m not saying there’s a right way to deal with trauma, but they’ve been in similar situations and dealt with it differently. Jason was hurt bc he didn’t see the support he wanted from his family. So, he got angry.

Babs was also angry, but mostly because people weren’t respecting her agency and how SHE viewed things. She says, “The Joker took nothing from me.” She would not want her family to go after the Joker for revenge bc it would mean that they don’t respect her decision to move on or to her handle her own problems

If Jason took that attitude, it would not take away the hurt or abandonment that he feels from Bruce, but I think he would be happier.

Also, Jason is just constantly on the move, cycling through teams. I think having someone like Babs play a bigger part in his life would help him relax a little.

Jason would also be good for Babs bc he can keep up with her. She’s wicked smart, and Jason is super quick on the uptake. The banter would be phenomenal.

Jason would also understand Babs’s need to not be coddled or pitied, which is one thing that she really can’t take in a relationship (pre-52 dickbabs....breaks my heart 😭)

Dang it you guys you’re turning me into a jaybabs shipper!
