you placed your pen down, a clicking sound was heard as the cap enclosed the nib. you uncross your legs and make way to the couch with your phone on one hand, ready to take a well deserved break.

you opened TikTok, the symbol animatedly popping up as her for you page loaded. there was something so addictive about it, not that of the app, but how the edits and controversies of your boyfriend pulled you in for hours.

the thing was, the both of you had an argument and you're missing him more than usual. you long for him to grab your thighs, the neck kisses, his fingers running down you as if to sculpt you.

from POVs to edits to just scenes of him had you captivated. just the thoughts of him doing what they claimed. you found yourself rewatching an edit of his thighs. for some reason they turned you on so much. his walk, his arms, the way he moved, how could he do it all so seductively.

was it getting hot in here?

you instinctively started unbuttoning your shirt and removed your shorts, leaving you in a pretty set. you were home alone anyway, who would be bothered? but god didn't he love that set. you rested on your stomach as you encountered an audio, a one with Theodore Nott fucking you. you could feel yourself practically melt with his voice draining all thought and reason on your mind.

that was absolutley untrue. is face was perfection. it was gorgeous and defined and just perfect.

"sit on my annoying face then baby" he murmured. it was soft and kind.

you crawled to the head of the bed, "you’re fuckin perfection." you muttered, pressing a gentle kiss on his jaw as he positioned his hands round your hips, pulling you on top of his face. you settled in, your legs locked on either side of his pretty head. one arm was resting on his chest lightly as the other played with his soft curls.

"fuck" you moaned, his lips spread under you only sucking harder, the sensation making you shudder. you were already dripping and he's just gotten started.

"darling-" he shushed himself off as you moaned, your fingers entangled in his brown hair as he lapped up your juices, quickening his pace.

his tongue lightly ball room danced around your clit as you came and your hands switched to the bedsheet so you don't nearly pulled his hair from his roots. he was memorized with the feeling of your thighs tightening

Marauders Design 💫🐺🐶🐀🦌

Okay.

So.

These are my take of how the marauders are in my head. So if they don't look like what you have in mind, well first sorry, but second I'll gladly listen to what you had imagine ! (my "ask me" is open btw)

More info on my designs !

I made these designs based on fanon, and also some kind of world where voldemort and war doesn't exist (and so where Peter, Barty or Evan aren't some awful asshole death eaters or whatever).

However I think it could fit canon universe or other AU. I would just change the outfits and minor details depending on the context/world.

Most of these are based on fancast and fandom hcs, trying to fit what I have in mind and what the fandom did.

Also, these design fit them between I think 15 to 19 years old, they would maybe change a bit older, and obviously be different if younger. This is approximative, but well.

Let's just say they're around 16/17.

Regarding the clothes and outfits in general

I didn't do all of them in their hogwarts uniform BECAUSE I really love fashion design, costume design so I gave them outfit based on different factors :

It fit their era, even if some are more modern

DARK ACADEMIA OUTFIT

They all fit their personality, color aesthetic, and are very unique to one another (that's also why some are more modern cuz men dark academia fashion can be a bit repetitive sometimes)

Also,

I rlly stopped myself at giving them face piercing.

I love giving piercing to characters I draw. But I thoughts it didn't fit here.

So be prepare, they'll probably have some face piercing who pops up in sketches and other thing.

For a final a note, I'd like to add that they might CHANGE with time.

I've been real absent online the last couple of months, but I can't miss out on @iwtvfanevents 'a meal to remember' because we are so incredibly blessed with beautifully creative and talented people in this fandom who constantly inspire and allow me to forever-wander in the world of Louis de Pointe du Lac, my most darling and favorite character ❤️ this won't be nearly as organized as I'd like it to be, won't say all I want to say, and I will inevitably miss somebody and/or some fic, but just know that there is so much wonderful content out there, especially by so many of the people on this list that anyone can check out at any point:

twelve days/nine months by @devotiondroid & @weather-mood daniel/louis/armand modern human au quite literally the fic that saved the holiday season for me. when new chapters of 'twelve days' would post, I would drop everything to go read it and would count down the days until the next update was set to happen. 'nine months' is a wip in the same verse and just as stunning. it's no surprise it's amazing; it's toni and it's bri, two people shining with so much talent it's blinding. and their powers combined?? oh my god. (there's also a one-shot in this verse called 'saint valentine' and my brain broke reading it, idk) now, just a list of @devotiondroid fics that changed me as a person: daniel/louis (and a little louis/armand as of now) human au quicksilver/mercury a danlou noir au that I reread a couple of weeks ago just to feel something again and then toni up and posted its prequel 'mercury' and I simply couldn't cope. the noir vibes paired with the gorgeously yearning story is just !!! everything.

ships i like and why i ship them: a small, affectionate rant before bed

zhongchi: probably the first ship i ever interacted with. i may have started playing genshin for them. I specifically remember reading modern, non canon au fics on ao3 when i was still low AR and did not have liyue unlocked yet just to enjoy content of them without spoiling the story too much. those were good times

love the betrayal, the reciprocated manipulations, their individual bloody pasts and their juxtaposing love for humanity/family. the marriage chopsticks. god, the amount of threads I've read explaining those... and ofc you can't forget the official art with them by the harbor with the gingko leaves falling cinematically. i think that's the art that drew me to them lol

there's also something so deliciously tragic about a near-immortal being who's fated to succumb to erosion in due time, falling in love with a mortal man who's always within death's cold embrace. not to mention the subtext of their themes and principles. geo and hydro, stability and turbulence, land and sea, they crystallize when they meet in the middle, etc etc

kaeluc: another pairing I enjoyed the absolute shit out of, way back when I wasn't even playing the game yet. I remember learning about them while I was deep in my mxtx phase, specifically tgcf, and I'm pretty sure I dipped my toes in after I learned that they used to be sworn brothers. keywords here being used to. hook, line, and sinker. before I knew it, I was also reading fanfics about them, but only modern, non canon au ones because genshin terms made no sense to me and i didn't want spoilers. then I played the game. and then—we get Kaeya for free. I mained the shit out of that man for months.

and then. I fully entered the fandom, only to be immediately slapped in the face with the mistranslation issue.

and I get it, honestly, if you like ragbros good for you, I'm happy for you, but me personally, I will scorn hyv until the day I fucking die because had they not messed this up? kaeluc would've have been so powerful. KAELUC WOULD HAVE BEEN SO FUCKING POWERFUL

how could they not be? they're childhood friends but they're also forbidden romance coded, and rivals/enemies coded, but they're also soulmates. they don't just know each other, they're two halves of a whole, they know each other.

and the themes, don't even get me started on their themes. fire and ice, red and blue... paimon's line about them being similar (i.e. kaeya's a shady mf who fights in the day/diluc's a bright fire in the night) is one of the most romantic lines ever. they're sun and moon but only because they complete each other. also, lamp grass and calla lily? that's them as flowers, but they're the other person's ascension material like hello???????? fucking wild.

and ofc this kaeluc section can't end without me mentioning arundolyn and rostam. for those who don't know or have read/heard of those names but never really dug deep into it, arundolyn and rostam were knights of favonius around the same time as the cataclysm, and you can read about them in artifact sets such as brave heart, defender's will; and partially from the elegy bow

the reason they're here is because there are too many damn parallels between them and kaeluc to just be a coincidence.

arundolyn was a claymore user (see: ferrous shadow), he was the "lion of light,"; he was naturally gifted in strength but still trained hard and would later become the grand master of the knights; he'd push rostam to drink wine and tell him to have a little fun; he gives up his title and weapon after rostam dies

on the flip side, rostam was the swordsman who created the art of favonius bladework (see: favonius sword), his title was, "wolf pup,"; when he and arundolyn played as children, he was the stand-in for the champion knight of aristocracy; he "ruled the shadows," by protecting mond with ways the knights did not approve; rostam dies in an expedition to expunge the evils poured forth from the cataclysm...

I'll let you connect the dots there. I just also wanna point out, as a final note, that in the favonius sword's description, it says, "the childhood friend and spiritual counterpart of Arundolyn, the Lion of Light, whose name was Rostam, the Wolf Pup." ok. yeah. moving on

xiaoven: i very quickly realized after reading the genshin webtoon that venti was gonna be one of, if not my most favorite character. and i was curious as to who the people wanted to pair him with. keep in mind, this was around 2.0~2.2 I believe, so when I searched them up, the only canon backing I could find was the music scene

and boy, was that scene enough because holy shit, the brain rot these two gave me??? of a god who embodies freedom, and the last remaining yaksha chained to his duty????? they were so thematically opposed and beautiful, it wasn't hard to fall in love with them

by the time 3.0 came rolling in, I've already stopped playing, but that didn't mean i wasn't aware of how we were well fed by canon. from the trailer to venti full on attending the lantern rite and sitting down with the liyue gang; it was one of those interactions that transcended everything

and of course, OF COURSE, they also canonically addressed the fact that venti's music soothes xiao's soul. that's intimate. that's deep. that's so fucking romantic and nice and beautiful in the most tragic way...

also, we can't forget the depictions of god and servant here. the holy themes, the worship. the promise of immortality and foreverness, but also the threat of it. i just think xiao doomed with karmic debt and venti vowed to divine erosion is such a soulmate connection, and I'm also delusional

With over 400k words under my belt of purely crossover fanfiction (no really) I feel like I've dabbled enough in the genre to pinpoint three distinct types of Crossover Fanfiction Setups. With no one else to rant about this, and the hopes that this will be helpful to someone, here's you go:

A Breakdown on All Three Ways to Cross Fandoms Together

1- Fandom Fusion

My favorite type. This is where the worlds are happening on the same plane, simultaneously with one another. So, both stories are happening, or have happened, or will happen, without meshing with each other. Except they don't. Characters from each world meet, and get pulled into the other world's shenanigans. Very easy to do when both stories are both taking place in modern day Earth. Or in similar time periods of Earth.

2- Portal Crossover

Breaking out the isekai trope here. It's a classic work, with a built in setup in stories where grand cosmic scale is introduced. I'm talking the Gate sending Edward Elric into another world, or jonmartin finding Somewhere Else to be another medium entirely. Or Amphibia's music box, or Owl House's Between Dimensions or- or- or- you get it.

It's easy to do, and people are generally willing to accept PORTAL happening esp in superhero media and the like. You dont have to figure out how to make the fandoms compatible either, and gives a good common goal for all parties to work towards (i.e. return the interloper home)

Doesn't have to be a trans dimensional portal. Could be a time travel thing. Or visions. Or whichever plot device you find fits most. I enjoy this a lot because it forces characters who would never normally meet to interact and we need that. The two fandoms being transported could easily be fictional in each other's universes. Or not. The possibilities are endless with this one, just on a surface level.

3- Scenery Change

Last, there is the Alternate Universe Setting. Or, as I prefer, the Scenery Change. This is where the characters from one fandom are taken wholesale and translated into another setting, never having experienced their Original World. You know which ones I'm talking about. The Percy Jackson AUs where characters from another fandom are given godly parents. The Hunger Game AUs. The fandom w four easily separated groups that we do not talk about anymore but is prolly still v prevalent.

There's a lot that can be done with this, ranging both from fluff oneshots to 100k plots, but I've found that this is most effective when unique characters are placed into a very structured setting from another media, where their unique perspectives and reactions will color the overdone situation and give it life. The appeal of these crossovers lie solely in this: "We've seen it happen before, but what would happen if these characters were here?"

And. It. Works.

So, yeah, careful observation has made me categorize these three premises. Tell me if you think there are more. Probably might do some breakdowns on the themes and the possibilities each premise holds the best weight for, and what goes into a crossover AFTER the two fandoms meet.

MODERN AU NORTALICE

Quick Disclaimer- Hi sorry for not posting in 2 years I've jumped around a bunch of fandoms and if you followed me for A3! content there probably won't be any more of that as the EN server shut down and I don't feel like reading TLs forever.

I posted this on all my platforms, but I needed to get all my thoughts out of my head on this AU. I am still in the design process, and I will probably redesign the characters more for this AU, but the jist of it is that Alice moved to the big city. Living away from the rest of society as she grew up in a rural area, she wanted to move to the big city and chase the big dream of becoming famous. She currently works for a tabloid company and has to act like a paparazzi to get some new material for work. When she finds out that an old diner was getting demolished to make room for a mysterious figure to rebuild over it, she wants all the inside scoop to be ahead of her competitors and co-workers.

She stalked outside the demolition crew's fence and waited until she could chase after someone who had just finished off their shift. Though she waited longer than she thought, she stayed there waiting longer than she would've stayed if she was just in the office. Many construction workers and demolition crew passed by her, but most terrified her as they didn't have the friendliest expressions or had no desire to be a part of such a thing. As she was about to give up, she noticed that there was a man she'd seen working a bit earlier by peaking through the fence. What stood out to her was the scar over the man's eye and the "piercing" on his nose.

He seemed the least scary to her visually, (and potentially the only one that would be willing to talk to her cause all the other ones tend to walk off immediately.) so she mustered up the courage to go over to him while he was on a lunch break. He just stared at the blond awkwardly as she greeted him, her previously neat and tidy ponytail was now messy due to the heat. He almost mistook her for a solicitor and was just planning to never respond and wait for her to eventually back off, but he realized how desperate she seemed for this interview and felt bad for her.

He understood, in a way, how much she needed the interview, as he also had to do what he could to make ends meet. I'd like to think that Alice would stop by every week and soon make excuses to come by every other day to talk to him. She wouldn't realize at first that she fell for the guy she just wanted information from, making excuses that she just made extra lunch that happened to include some bread he mentioned he liked eating once.

Norton would try returning her favors by trying to make something; though it wasn't the best, Alice always appreciated them. Soon, her visits to ask for inside information about the construction and demolition company turned into an "I just wanted to visit a friend." I'd like to think Alice was the one who pulled the official first date move by asking him if he'd like to go to a local cafe sometime and him being too oblivious and overthinking her asking him to the cafe, then realizing what she meant when she brought him a flower and a mole keychain I put on his toolbag in the drawing.

Norton would eventually ask her out officially after a while, and Alice would ask, "Are we not already dating?"

Syverson x OFC Eve (💕🔥🌩, status: completed)

I read this early after I found my way to tumblr and I was drawn into this world so fast. @notabronte gave us this lovely small town feeling where we can see Sy fitting in so well. It's the good old enemies to lovers trope, perfectly executed. I had to re-read earlier chapters after I learned a few things about our protagonists in the later chapters and it made me realize how good exactly this whole story was put together. You're going to fall in love with this town, with this car, with this girl and of course with Sy.

The heir

Modern AU Charles Brandon x female reader (💕🔥🌩, status: completed)

This one is special to me, too. First of all, I am such a huge fan of modern AU Charles. I just love the idea of it. And @daydreaming-in-letters is a master in building atmosphere in her stories and The Heir is not an exception. With the first scene she dragged me into that misty morning where we're about to meet His Snobbiness. And it only gets better after that.

Walter Marshall x OFC Jo (💕🔥🌩, status: completed)

This is my favorite Walter ever. He's just perfect. As is @mayloma's writing. She gives us wonderful characters, not only our two lovebirds but also the side characters that we meet. And so many sweet memories, it's heartwarming. Both Jo and Walt have a past and a life and joining them on their journey how to adapt to each other was a great experience.

A modern AU Edmund x reader fic about academic rivals for @needsmth's request

First year of uni, and you already found a rival. Yay!

At first, you couldn't complain about sharing most of your classes together, since he was intelligent and cute, but when he started getting all the answers before you (and of course, he called them right), he became unbearable.

Sociology? He got it. Psychology? Easy-peasy. Economy? Wait, how come he had previous knowledge of this one? And let's not get into Philosophy, the subject you were looking forward to the most during that last year of high school.

And he was beating you on that one, too. He was so quick to answer, so quick to understand, and that when he didn't guess what the teachers would say next.

Now, he was not over-confident or smug. Even you could see that. But just that happy little smile he had on his pretty face after he won a teacher's approval was so, so annoying, sometimes you just could not resist the urge to find something to shout right after him -- a counter-argument or whatever. Whatever.

Yeah, you were not proud of that little scene you may or may not have displayed yesterday. The worst thing was his concerned look as if you were a little mad girl with no self-control. His dark eyes were tender, looking down at you. You felt sorry for him that time -- he had nothing against you. So you decided that today you were going to apologize to him.

Such decision had been made with no consideration of the long class hours that were to pass before lunch. There he was again, the smart boy. What was his name again? Oh, Edmund. Edmund and his dark wavy hair, his rosy lips uttering every right answer... You had to look down.

Coward, you told yourself. Apologize as you should, little brat, and grow up for once. No more high school drama. You graduated with honours, and you were now decided to make the best out of your college years.

The arrival of lunch was both a relief and a burden for the feeling of anticipation that surged in your chest. You walked out of the classroom, through the hallway, preparing a speech. When you entered the cafeteria, you scanned around the room. You spotted the cute boy waiting at the last of the queue, one hand in his trousers pocket. He stood straight, with almost a regal posture, and looked ahead with patience. How could he be so perfect?

You approached him, steadying your breath. Apologizing was never easy. He noticed you were walking towards him, so turned his head with curiosity.

'Hey,' he said. Low voice, soft.

'Hi,' you said. 'About yesterday...'

'Oh...' He remembered.

'Yeah, I'm sorry.' You twisted your fingers in awkwardness. 'I don't know what came unto me, I didn't mean to shout at you.'

'It's OK,' he said.

You stood there, next to him, fingers twisted. The queue was advancing, and you also needed to have lunch. Better not to wait awkwardly that long distance to the counter.

'So...,' you said, 'Edmund, right?'

'Yeah. And yours is...'

'__.'

He nodded. 'Seems we have every class together.'

'Oh, yeah. For better or for worse, you won't get rid of me so easily.'

'Pff,' he looked away, nothing to add. Then, something occurred to you.

'I guess I'll stand to a challenge,' you said, shrugging. He looked at you. 'I won't let you call all answers out so easily.'

'Well, it won't hurt a little play.' He lifted an eyebrow.

'A little play?' You mocked offence. 'Sir, I'll make you play in hard mode.'

He scoffed. 'I'm all in.'

2023 AO3 Year-End Fic Review

I found the AO3 review I had made last year and decided to fill it out for 2023! Answer all the questions yourself, then tag some friends!

What is your AO3 account?

2. How many words did you write total in 2023?

I wrote 69, 299 words in 2023 for 4 different fandoms! Well 3-4, since one fic was a crossover fic. Most of that was for ACOTAR, which is HILARIOUS considering last year I was so convinced that I was done with ACOTAR. I played myself. It's also way more words than I wrote the past few years, which is cool!

3. How many fics did you publish in 2023? How many multichapters vs oneshots?

I published 17 fics in 2023, 15 of which were for ACOTAR. 3 of those are multichapter, and the other 14 were oneshots.

4. What was your longest fic? Your shortest fic?

The longest fic CONTINUES to be my multichapter Tamlin/Lucien fic, lovely and lonely, which is now at 27,528 words and is ALMOST DONE. My longest oneshot is the Nesta/Eris fic, counterintelligence, which is at 4,446 words. The shortest fic I wrote last year was you up?, which is a modern AU Tamlin/Rhysand fic.

5. What was your most popular fic? Your least popular fic?

My most popular fic was lovely and lonely, which is now at 2,044 hits and 107 kudos!! My least popular fic was the Tamlin/Briar fic Come, my drifting flower, which is at 29 hits and 5 kudos. But TO BE FAIR all the fics I wrote for my gift exchanges are at the bottom of the list for hits/kudos, because they were only published like a week ago!! So the least popular fic that has been online for over a month is my Eris Week fic Concession Strategy, which is at 168 hits and 11 kudos. BUT ACTUALLY I'm realizing now that somebody put the fic in a secret collection so nobody has been able to read it in months lmao. So my REAL ACTUAL least popular fic is the Tamlin/Amarantha fic obsessed with you, at 226 hits and 17 kudos.

6. What fic didn't perform as well as you thought it would?

I feel like I've answered this before lmao but ANYWAY I thought a knife for every heart would perform a little better. It's been up since March and has 143 hits. I guess people don't want to read about Lestat and the Corinthian fucking nasty.

7. What fic performed way better than you thought it would?

ALREADY my Nesta/Eris ACOTAR secret santa fic soare cu dinți is performing way better than expected! It was posted just a couple weeks ago and already has 262 hits, which is PRETTY GOOD for an ACOTAR rarepair! In general I've found that Neris fandom fucking SHOWS UP when you write them fic, which is awesome!!!

8. What was your favorite fic you wrote in 2023?

LMAO my favorite fic this year continues to be my Yellowjackets fic, Lagomorpha. idk I just love writing body horror and psychosexual tension and learning about how fucked up rabbits are. I also just LOVE Shauna, I'd really like to write more from her POV in the future!!!

9. What was your favorite fic that somebody else wrote in 2023?

OKAY LISTEN!!!! yall are very talented but really stood no chance against @goforth-ladymidnight's Tamcien fic A Second Chance. Seriously, if you haven't read this fic, GO READ IT RIGHT NOW!!! IT'S AMAZING!!! LIFE CHANGING!!!! EARTH SHATTERING!!!

It's me again, I read your reply like 3 times before I finally, finally understood what you were trying to convey through chapter 5. To say I'm gobsmacked is an understatement. I'm just so so thankful that this fandom has such amazing authors that have a taken these characters to new highs and lows, I came back to reading fic after watching Bridgerton and now I almost exclusively read fics on Ao3 instead of published works.

Also, as an aside, Primogeniture is my favorite fic for Bridgerton because it's the only one which stays in Canon throughout, it just fills in a lot of gaps and gives so much context to so many of the choices the characters make. All of the other fics I adore are post HEA or AUs set in Regency/Modern settings. I remember every time I rewatched Episode 4, I wanted to hit Anthony with a blunt object, then I read 'Cost of Conscience' in the Primogeniture series, and I wanted to weep.

I'm glad that fic has been able to bridge the gap for my obsession with these characters because I was quite disappointed with a lot of choices the writers made for the show, and that we as readers are able to draw our own inspirations and conclusions for all of these fics. Makes for a very rich fandom experience. Thank you!

Can I say the JC fandom? Because it's a very small, unpopular fandom, and not many people are fond of Jaime and Cersei together. So even if I'm very vocal about them, I think it's the most obscure one I can think of.

12. Craziest thing you've ever done as part of a fandom?

Oh, I think it would be getting my JC tattoo! It was so big on my arm, I was scared at first, but now I'm used to it.

Hmmm, I read "therefore each to other bound" a lot tbh, almost religiously. But I'd say "Until Death Do Us Part" by my friend Annie. It's a Modern AU where Jaime and Cersei are married, and I love it to pieces and keep reading it over and over again.

24. Funniest fandom-related story?

OMGGGG Once upon a time, I blocked another JC stan on Tumblr. Her behavior was really "Meh", very childish behavior, and she kept trying to fight br*imes. And so, I blocked her because I didn't like the vibe she was giving off and she was annoying. Girly got MAD, like mad MAD and everytime she tried to make friends with other JC stans, she used to shit on me. Once, years later, she tagged one of her fics "it's better than most of the Pentos AU you'll read" or something along the lines, and it pissed me off, because you don't shit on your fellow writers, especially in such a small fandom, so I made a vague post about it on my blog. I didn't mention her, only in the convo I had with my friend in the replies. But Ma'am was STALKING MY BLOG, LITERALLY. And a few days later later, she wrote a WHOLE LONG ASS POST about me on her blog, saying I was insane and unhinged. I found out because someone send me the adress of her blog. And honestly? It was hilarious, to see her still being mad years later after I blocked her as if I had murdered her whole family. I didn't say anything about that post because it made me laugh and I don't know what she became, but I do know AO3 banned her for her behavior.

i am stalled on The Witch King by Martha Wells, not because it isnt good but just because. lmao. If im reading, i cant be writing. or sewing. or or or. The last one I remember finishing was This Is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone, and i loved that.

Greatest literary inspiration:

I put part of a Mary Oliver poem on my graduation cap. Also genuinely quite inspired by Tamsyn Muir.

Things in my current fandom I want to read but I don't want to write:

I dont know if I'd ever try my hand at a modern au but i adore aevallare's pour one out.

I certainly wont write no-magic or all-human aus (I like tieflings a normal amount, she says, lying) but I'm sure someone could do something cool with those.

Things in my current fandoms I want to write but I think nobody would be interested in them but me:

:') i already think this about my work but i write it anyway. who wants to read astarion stuck in a druid grove when he's [redacted]?? well, i do, so now we have eldath's mercy.

i am working on a story rn where kira is a ghost haunting the szarr palace. do i think very many people will be interested in that? i dont know! but I want to write it, and at least one other person probably wants to read it, so. eventually, it will go up onto ao3.

id love to do something with a focus on minthara. she's going to matter in true colors but that's not going to happen for a while. for now i rotate her in my brain.

You can recognize my writing by:

7000 word chapters where fully half the words are the characters thinking sooo hard, mid-chapter pov shifts, asides about tiefling/druid culture that i've made up whole-cloth, tail mentions.

My most controversial take (current fandom):

if you mod anyone in the game to look younger/more conventionally attractive i am putting you in the oubliette in my mind-palace. why cant you like these characters as they are. i thought we enjoyed this game

if you mod gortash clean or mod away a character's scars, i am putting you in the oubliette inside of the oubliette in my mind-palace.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Usually, I don't do sad endings, but the most bitter-sweet one is Pebble (Dragon Age: Inquisition) about a kossith who cuts his massive horns off to look more like a human so he could follow his lover to the city where kossith race isn't welcome :c Although I don't think his lover would let him go there anyway......

7. What is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Haha every other one :D But Sun, Rum and Gunpowder (AC Black Flag) has the happiest and the most carefree vibes whatsoever!

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not on the fics, but the ships! I just delete those because why is it an author's problem suddenly that some people don't know how filters work??

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Oh, I sure do ;> It's not extremely explicit (no holes in sight, but dicks and balls can be spotted) and is mostly focused on emotions and dialogues.

10. Do you write crossovers?

Nope, but I write AUs sometimes to spice things up! Modern days AUs are the bane of my existence, and still... somehow... I keep making them...

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

No, but I noticed my lines and phrases in the stories of fellow writers. I appreciate it!!

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yeah!! Out of all possible fics, it was The Remnants of a Ruined Past, a Mad Max (the game!) story translated into Polish. Love it lots!

13. Have you ever co-written a fic?

Never as i am incapable to work in groups haha. I did some challenges though, such as picking a theme and writing something small with a fren to compare the results later. It's very fun and helps to keep your brain gears spinning!

14. What’s your all time favorite ship?

Like, the one and only ship that I could bring along if I was stuck on a desert island? Or the one I don't even write for anymore but carry in my heart daily? The former would be Hawke x Varric (Dragon Age 2) because they're a comfort ship with many possibilities for plots. The latter is Ezio x Leonardo (AC II + Brotherhood + Revelations) and Arthur x Eames (Inception) because they started it all hehe.

15. What’s a fic you’d like to finish but don’t think you ever will?

It's a compilation of drabbles written for a very niche CGI Resident Evil movie (Damnation) & very rare pair that i was planning to continue for as long as the planet keeps spinning, but got overwhelmed with the amount of ideas I had in mind :c

16. What are your writing strengths?

Humor and dialogues!

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Everything el– 🥲 Deep character studies, believable politics and fights.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in a fic?

A big yes from me, it ads depth and character when used correctly. Also, it's very interesting to keep an evening reading about the language you're planning to use, even it's for a few simple words.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

It was an attempt to mimic Marie Corelli and write a ficlet for her novel "The Sorrows of Satan". And then Assassin's Creed took my soul and I've never seen it since! Kinda ironic, huh...

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

I'm gonna cheat bc I'm quite proud about Beautiful Decline, a series of four fics written for Assassin's Creed Valhalla. It's an enormous project that was never meant to break out from its confinements and produce three more stories lmao.
