Do you mind sharing a few things about how people in the U.S. react to your soviet courier? (and also, no offense but is there any reason why his name doesn't follow the eastern slavic naming costumes?)
hello anon!!! hope you havin a good day!!!!
oh boy, that is an excellent question!!!!!!! I'm quite excited to answer!!!!!! soooooo yup, while mv indeed gets some rude comments and mean reactions, most people are friendly and either don't really care or are just curious, wondering wtf he's doing in the u.s. and how did he got there.
most of the folks who are suspicious and hostile towards him are either people with ties to military organizations (bos, legion, ncr et cetera all have their own versions and theories about his "true intentions in the u.s." and even consider him a dangerous fella) or the ones who still hold a old world point of view and see him as a shady soviet commie spy who came to america to steal their freedom kill their elders make pies outta their children raid their cities burn their money et cetera.
but besides those two groups in particular, when people find out he's russian, as I said before, their reaction's mostly a mix between "yo how tf did you got here dude" and "dats cool dawg ive never met a soviet before", they'll ask him lots of questions about life in ussr and he'll always gladly answer them. people often nickname him after ussr-related stuff, so far he been called sputnik by his gang friends, petrushka by his cabaret co-workers and homies, vodka-boy by suzette, swan lake by powder gangers and russki baby doll by benny🤙
and important to mention that tbh people get way more annoyed by the fact mv's a drug user/former gangster than by the fact he's soviet. in orleans, after he started travelling with suzette, people would often warn her that he is a "man of ill reputation", a "delinquent" and should not be trusted.
also, about his name, the reason why it doesn't follow the slavic naming pattern is bcuz that's not his full name (yo I know compound names ain't thaaaat common in russia but still, the backstory of his name is basically that his mum wanted to name him after vaslav nijinsky [btw she was a dancer too] while his dad wanted to name him after a friend of his, they spent a long time arguing about it until his grandma told em to fuck off and just put both names)
his full name's actually molko-vaslav pavlovich petrov, the reason why he dropped the last two is bcuz he had a huge fight with his father after his mother passed and decided he would never use them again. (btw important to mention that after being shot by benny, he forgot about his surnames since besides not having a single trace of their existence, no one addressed him by his full name for about 9 years)

1, 2 and 3 for your couriers
since nowadays I only write about suzette and m.v. I will presume you talkin bout em dfjfhzncbcbskkdhdk
1 - do they laugh at their own jokes?: DEFINITELY, not only that, but they keep laughing for hours and hours about the same shit even after everyone around has already forgotten about it.
2 - what does their laugh sound like: suzette is always loud, m.v. is a little bit more discreet unless he drunk, high or around people he trust, then he's even louder than suzette.
3 - what does their voice sound like?: I imagine that suzette would sound like either joan armatrading or tracy chapman, while m.v. would either sound like bryan ferry or jarvis cocker, tbh I still haven't really thought about it, also due to the fact these these mfs smoke like two chimneys, it'd probably be raspy and a little deep.
