STRAWBERRIES, SANDALWOOD, && SOMETHING HERBAL; a different scent greets him ― it’s not especially overwhelming, but the absence of familiarity chafes. hisoka is, for better or worse, a constant in his life; but much like the nature of his nen, he is a whimsical creature, prone to change. illumi doesn't care for change.

permission ( as illumi understands ) is a construct with a direct correlation to hierarchy ― he views hisoka as an equal, therefore, he is not expected to ask for permission before he acts. illumi leans in, close enough to feel the heat radiating off of the other's neck; close enough to hear his pulse; close enough to take a whiff of novelty. his intentions should be evident. && yet...
