The look he gives you when you first told him you were his partner. He tried not to get close, tried to keep you at arms length, and it worked for a while, or so he thought.

You would bring him homemade baked goods and lunch daily. He'd pretend he wasn't interested but as soon as you'd leave the room /area to get something, he'd take a peek and eventually eat what you brought. You'd notice the empty containers but never said anything, only smiling happy he accepted them, and nodding once he finally thanked you.

He didn't want to get close to you, look at the people who he was close to in the past and what happened with them, he thought he was keeping you safe by not letting you in. It wasn't until you went on a solo recon mission and didn't come back that he realized his real feelings for you and decided he must do anything to get you back.

(Sorry this is horrible. I'm tired and also not wearing my glasses so also sorry for mistakes)

I kept thinking about that plot you had in mind for Scream 7. Specifically that ending of it. So the rest of the core 4 manage to stop Sam. She is arrested. Sam is hauled off by the police. The remaining core 3 look heartbroken as she is dragged off in handcuffs. Fade to black with somber music.

Credits.

Cut to an after credits scene where Sam is behind bars. A silhouette of a guard very rudely informing that "the psycho bitch got some fanmail". An envelope is tossed to her. It has obviously been opened and checked, because that's what they do in prison. But there is still a letter. Panning shot to the signature of the letter: Stu Macher. Cut to black and the rest of the credits roll.

I would so watch that. I love how your mind works!

VERY IMPORTANT a dam in the Netherlands, the weerdsluis lock, is directly on a migratory path for spawning fish. They have a worker stationed there to open the door for the fish, but they can take a while to open it. So to keep the fish from getting preyed on by birds they installed a doorbell. Only, the fish don't have hands to ring the doorbell. If you go to their website, they have a LIVE CAMERA AND A DOORBELL that YOU RING FOR THE FISH when they're waiting, and then the dam worker opens the door for them! I can't express how obsessed I am with this. look at this shit. oh my god.

Please check on the fish doorbell once in a while :)
