Hello hellooooo I have thoughts about Tiger and Bunny :) below the cut because it's so long lmao. I tried to keep spoilers out of it, for the most part, but this is mainly me talking about things i liked

I really liked the character designs. It's what immediately drew my eye and hooked me when I was just channel surfing and came across it. I was like holy shit!!! Black people drawn super well in an anime!!!! It's something that I wasn't used to, Made my heart sing yk.

I adored the character designs for the most part!! Yeah some of them (barnaby) looked silly, but it really fit their character. It's a superhero anime- I was expecting it!

Oh man, speaking of, I'm such a goner for superhero/ mecha stuff. Some of my favorite franchises growing up were Transformers, Power Rangers, and Tenkai Knights. So when I flipped through channels, saw the heroes in action and the fighting/ animation, my brain went "!!!!!!! Yes!!!" I gushed over Tiger and Barnaby's hero suits, heck, everyone's hero suits. It just scratches an itch in my brain.

I watched the dub, and I thought it was great!! Lots of funny lines and great deliveries :) ("and what's that over there?" "Oh that's. A building." "And that?" "...also.. A building." And "I don't talk like that!" "I dOnt TaLk liKe ThAT!" And God any line where Bunny was crying was just so good. Really pulled on my heart strings even when I wasn't expecting it to) Sure, some of the scenes were corny, but I was expecting it!

The plot was solid, though I can see where some holes might be poked. But there was so much character in every episode, I love the teamwork and the way everyone interacted with each other. And the attention that was placed on their relationships with their families. Even if I wish for more, it's fun to play around with in my head. Like, I'm sure Fire Emblem was a big step forward, in universe, for gay rights and their flirty, flamboyant attitude is the biggest "fuck you" to homophobes. I'm sure Dragon Kid's debut, at 13, caused a commotion about children doing hero work, especially when she's getting hurt so much. I'm sure there's a lot of background politics at play regarding heroes and their sponsors that we don't see. I know a lot of this was left out, because they wanted a story with one plot, because they weren't sure how far this series would go, because it just wasn't as interesting. But oh man, these things have been in my head ever since I watched it. Tiger and Bunny is a fun playground.

(I'm going to be honest, I went in without high expectations for the plot. I was just here for cool fight scenes)

I appreciated the direction they took Karina's crush on Kotetsu. I was really wary at first. She's 15? 16? and he's like 36. If they were going to be pairing up the underage girl with the grown man she had a crush on, I was prepared to drop the whole show and hate it. But no!! The progression was sweet, the way Kotetsu obviously sees her as a daughter, and how Karina evolved into her feelings was just :')

Also. Holy fucking shit. Barnabys entire life just. Put out there, for the whole world to see. I can't imagine the sense of perversion that creates. The world knows his name, his backstory, everything. He no longer has his own life, his own choices. It's ridiculous, and I'm glad he had people there to support him.

UNLIKE KOTETSU JEEZ. Man was getting the short end of the stick at every turn ToT I felt so bad for him every time he tried to hard to be recognized, but also just embarrassed. Give him a break!!!

And. Even before going into this, I knew that people would ship Tiger and Bunny. I've been around the block, I know how this shit goes, especially in these types of shows. Two guys being super close, going on about their friendship and all that, is bound to attract shipping. I wasn't against it!- I was just ready for it, but was mostly planning on ignoring it.

But. Holy shit. It's really all there huh. They're like. in Love Love.

("you're only partners for each other." "You two fight like an old married couple." "we dont need to talk to know what the other is thinking." "you're always making me think about you."

I don't normally talk at lengths about kpop related things, especially on Tumblr, because I feel there are enough other fans in the world adding to the conversation. Yet, I am going to break that for a moment because I finally got around to watching RM's mv for Wild Flower that came out a few days ago. Do you know when you watch something and the meaning comes across loud and clear and it hits you and you just sit a little stunned but also a little sad. And you know you will never see that thing the same way again? Well that happened this morning. I have had Wild Flower on repeat since it came out but due to my lack of fluency in korean, all I could go off of was a few words I picked up, the vibe, feeling, and emotion of the song. I had a feeling RM was singing about his struggles with his life in BTS. But oh boy did was I so unprepared.

That part almost broke me. I can't imagine what it is like to be in his position. Leader of arguably the best known K-pop group. Often the voice of an entire industry due to the position his group is in. The pressure to be what his members, company, industry, and country needs him to be. He is RM of BTS. And I know he has talked about this before but he is also Kim Namjoon. A boy who fell in love with music with no idea what he will become. And I am worried it is what he has become that will one day break him. But it's his second verse that made me want to write this.

You can feel his heart as he is rapping this verse. The sadness and fear he has at losing himself. I think as fans, we often forget what some people give up when they reach that level of fame. But on the flip side, no one truly knows what it means to be RM of BTS. Even the other members, RM's biggest support system, dont know that feeling. They know what it means to be a member of BTS, but to be the voice that RM is always expected to be? They don't know that. But when RM talks.... is it his voice? Or is it the collective voice of the other members and the industry he is representing? Does he answer based on what he thinks is expected of him? And if so, does that cause him to have even less of a voice? At what point does the need to speak for others suffocate someone.

I find it interesting that he brought up the shadows, because SUGA also raps about the shadows often. How they grow and can overtake everything when the light on them becomes too strong. I find it terrifying the thought of it being easier to be swallowed, or friends, with those shadows then to keep looking at the light. But when the light is blinding and the stars are scary, maybe the darkness is comforting.

While the song is sad it is also hopeful. When he talks about burning fireworks to flowerworks, it feels very reminiscent of the Phoenix. Something that rises from the ashes and comes back more beautiful. I think RM is battling those demons and what is threatening to burn him down but I believe what comes out of it is that much better. And I hope that is what we are seeing through this song. That RM is finding a way to be Kim Namjoon. That the world has not taken everything from him in their expectations of who he is. That somewhere, Kim Namjoon is finding his own voice. And that voice will be just as loud and beautiful as RM's is. Because I have a feeling Kim Namjoon has very interesting things to say.

The night was young, and the music was loud. You always imagined your college years would be lonely and studious, in high school you didn’t care for parties or clubbing and fake id’s, so that wouldnt change in college, right? Well burnout is real and now you were about to graduate from your bachelors and all you wanted was to have fun. You werent focused on your future right now, its saturday night for christs sake, you just wanted to get wasted with your besties. 

Mina, your ride or die, was on speaker while you picked out an outfit for the night, gossiping about the past couple days. Nothing was new, you guys talked everyday about other peoples dirt, but something about it was just wrong enough to be fun. “Wait so are you wearing your black boots or your brown ones?” you asked, not wanting to accidentally match, or match at all. Please, you guys aren’t 13 with matching shit from claires, yall are mature now- you match vibes and colors. “I’m wearin’ my black ones, they match my fringe jacket. Imma wear those with some like shorts and that one like blue crochet top- have I shown you that one?” she was rummaging through her closet as she spoke. “Oh yeah you wore it last week right? To the party at delta kappa?” “Yeah!! I thought it’d be cute tonight, what’re you wearing?” Her crackly voice asked. “If i can find it, that little yellow dress, the one with the beaded straps. I heard some of the guys from calc are coming! Like the guys that sit over by the window!” You giggle a bit. It’s stupid and theyre definitely no good, but what the hell. You guys are young, you can go fool around a little bit. “NO!! Are you serious? Like theyre coming to OUR brewery??” She shouted, now noticeably closer to her phone. Mina’s had a thing for a certain someone in that group since orientation. “Shit, you shouldve told me sooner, now i gotta find a better shirt- what do you think about my black crop top?” “You dont have a black crop top..?” “Its like a corset bra thingy” “So lingerie???” “Ok well whatever, its been like three years- i gotta make him see me tonight” “You go girl” you replied. 

After both outfits were completed, y’all had a little facetime to double check how yall looked together and when everything was perfect, you both headed to meet up outside, then driving in mina’s car to the bar. Blasting Country girl by luke bryan and singing at the top of your lungs out the sunroof. You loved mina, she was your number one, the bestie of all besties. Being around her made you happy, you guys just clicked like sisters. Some people brag about their lifelong friendships or how many friends they have, but this was enough. 

Pulling into the brewery’s parking lot, mina squealed at the boys big red f1-50 thats always parked outside their infamous frathouse. Fratboys are bad news nad theyre definitely gonna ruin you and break your heart, but you didn’t care right now. Living is about loving so hard, and hurting even harder so love becomes that much sweeter. So being 21 with your best friend, swooning over slutty frat boys from your calc class you were failing, you needed to keep that rush while it lasted. You basked in the adrenaline and got drunk off the giggling, knowing that in 5 years this will all be a fun story. Tldr: you love living life. 

YOu guys loved this place, youve been dancing here for a good while now. They had line dancing every saturday and that was you two’s escape. You guys set aside bits of your paychecks to pitch in for drinks and snacks, it was a whole ordeal. Mina was already at the bar, trying to get wasted cus it was your week to drive home. You headed out to the floor, following the people already dancing. Through the spins and stomps, you looked for the infamous boys and then you see their hair. Most all of them had bright hair, mina was already eyeing the redhead with her drink nearly gone. To your surprise, he looked at her back, grinning like a devil. You might be driving home alone tonight, heres to hoping shes still on her birth control and that he has condoms. You grinned and kept dancing, getting lost in the music and the familiar steps, the skirt of your dress just long enough to cover everything when you twirl. 

Its around 10 when mina stumbles over to you, clinging to kirishima and his long red hair. Her lipstick smeared and the redhead’s lips noticeably red, they were banging tonight, good for her! “Be careful hun, use a condom and call me if you need me keep me posted!!!” you shouted over the music to her as she left, his hand on her ass. Wow. after three years, she finally did it. Planning out tonight in your head as you left after that song. You can drive her car to the dorms then walk to yours- perfect. You headed to the bar to get a soda, seeing one of the guys lounging against the chairs. He wasnt really smart, like you hes just here for a good time. His bright yellow hair nearly hurt your eyes, but you walked towards him, changing your mind. He looked like sin, he looked like lust, his shirt was unbuttoned just enough to see his chest and his sleeves were rolled up. His arms were pretty and his hands were hot- fuck you wanted to take him home. 

“Can i buy you somethin’ babe?” He smirked at you, you swear you felt something shock you like static. “What do you think i should have?” you responded, the music coming back in with electric guitars and harsh drums. It was getting hotter, you were sure of it. “Booze, i wanna take you home” he stood up straight and made sharp eye contact with you, “unless you wanna drive me home like youre driving me crazy.” you walked towards him as he pushed his hair back. “Fuck, i know youve seen yourself- you cant do that to a guy.. You cant tell how hot you are,” words were spewing from his mouth before he knew what they even meant. He was turned on, this is all hes waited for. You didnt remember, but he did, you guys had classes together freshman and sophomore year. Hes had a massive crush on you, just like mina had on kirishima, maybe tonight was just the night to fall in love. 

You cant deny it, hes really cute and pretty hot- youve eyed him a couple times at parties, but he was always messing around with other girls. Kaminari is well known for his one night stands, and youre known for listening to rumors. Youve heard about him, now you wanted to see what hes really like.

Ohh so k-pop does get overwhelming at times like keeping up with all of their comebacks and activities does take a toll on the psyche 🤧 i took a small break of sorts back in 2021 just to get a breather and instead focus my energy on books :') the whole pandemic situation and the lockdown was beginning to get to me + i had to deal with an academic burnout but !! things are definitely better now.

OKAYY so it took me a lot of time to finalise a bias in nct dream and tbt all nct units unghhh i lobe them all but my nct dream bias as of now is renjun. this man has me wrapped around his finger and activates the heart eyes WDYM HE HAS A PRETTY VOICE HES AN ARTIST HE'S PRETTY HE'S SHARP TONGUED AND HE'S A TOTAL SWEETHEART LIKE HE'S SO CARING 100% BFF/BF MATERIAL :( FDIBCFBN GOD HAS HIS FAVOURITES ALRIGHT and oml don't even get me started w the yangyang and renjun interactions im still reeling from when they did this.

In 127 i have a soft spot for the vocal line lol so i usually bias whoever's in the vocal line for a particular song (DO THEY HAVE TO MAKE IT SO HARD TO CHOOSE THO). rn it's jaehyun bc I'm obsessed w his voice (it's his first few lines in good thing <33)

SORRY FOR REPLYING LATE I SUCK AT HUMAN INTERACTION

kpop does get overwhelming sometimes dfkjlas but also i just kind of got bored for a bit so i didnt feel motivated to check up on it in so long,, but now i just found the excitement again and i feel the same i did when getting into it for the first time its so amazing. i got into kpop just before the pandemic started, so it was something that was keeping me going during the lockdowns and shit :) i am glad you're feeling better now, though!

A thing that people would imagine about Meredith is that she can make candy. It is something that they do whenever she is stressed or has a friends birthday coming up.

Avery:

Avery, they are 6 foot 3 and scary looking yet they spend most of his time outta prison making glass animals and they genuienly do enjoy being calm and chill- even if they threaten to break BACK into happy trails to go see their friends [and a certain all singing all dancing prison boy]

Solstice:

People would expect Sol to be angry and upset about the team of the invinsible two. But Para really does miss fires friends and Skip somewhat blames skipselves for what happened. They do still enjoy the cold despite celci freezing para alive.

Eliza:

Eliza looks like blasting brign me to life in a hurricane. She dresses in dark clothes and looks absolutely terrifying and acts like a complete bitch yet she is absolutely soft for children and baby animals. Seriously give this girl a baby duckling and she will just sit on the floor and go "well aint you cute!". Sure she will punch people who threaten to tell people that shes a softie at heart but yeh.

Cora:

Cora is surprsingly fast for a child whose been starved for most of their growing life. Shes able to climb and run around. she is friendly but she isnt a push over. Cora knows her rights and expectations and abilities in the world.

Caitlin:

She is a seven year old who works in the bostom homicide department and has two lesbian parents. Nobody expects a seven year old to know how someone died or how to do an autposy.

Final thoughts:

As per USUAL I fucking love this album.

It's so good and I will be listening to nothing but this for the next month and a half MINIMUM, as I always do.

I'm so proud of my eight, I really am. I'm so happy to be supporting such an amazing group of men and there is truly no where I'd rather be.

The LALALALA music video, and the S-Class music video are, without question, their best music videos. I cannot get enough of them.

I LOVE how with every comeback, they just continue to prove that there is truly no genre or concept that they can't do and pull off like they invented it. I have NEVER seen such a versatile group and they just continue to amaze me every time.

hurting my own feelings today by thinking about how “the moon will sing” by the crave wives can maybe reflect my tavs relationship with astarion

im only in the beginning-ish of act 2 but my tav is a tiefling cleric for selûne and had this whole good/evil dilemma, eventually going sort of lawful evil placement for them

anyways i just reached a point that i had to choose between astarion or karlach and i chose astarion but the shock he expresses caught me so off guard. this vampire couldn’t comprehend i wanted to build something real with him

i know tragedy is waiting for me as the story goes on but i imagine tav and astarion building their relationship and them showing astarion he is more than what cazador belittled him to and allowing the kindness of my character comfort him. but i dont know if i can become a vampire so i think about how their relationship will deepen and tav eventually passing while astarion continues to live

from what ive seen in a standard romancing of astarion (doing my best to avoid spoilers), tav is the first person astarion says to have been able to love in over 200 years. the thought of going so long alone to only what feels like mere moments is heartbreaking and the grief he would have to bear breaks me a bit. for my tav, since they are a cleric of selûne i like to think astarion would seek comfort in the moon, thinking the moonlight is tav still with him

i could be soooooo off base with his character development but man my heart aches thinking about that

Splintered Fate Raphael - All Symbol Headcanons please uwu

I'm extremely guilty of mostly playing as Raphael in this game I just like his dialogue a lot. I love Raph from the game so much I love his little quirk they gave him of mixing up words like the conversation about the punk frogs wanting anarchy which he confuses for Antarctica, asking why dont they just move to place it snows all the time. But, despite this he's not played off as being a meat head idiot. He is but Raphael got a lot of heart when it comes to him setting Leo straight that they are meant to be a team. I just want more of this I know it's slightly based on the IDW one butttt stil!. Also his threats crack me up "imma sit on your lap till your legs break!"

Okay so some of Raphs I feel at first might not seem right but when you think about his role in the game story? Raphael is impatient and can be easily irritated. And Well yeah those are common traits of this turtle after all. Raphael is an analytical thinker, often questioning everything. I wouldn't fully agree here but I will say Raph in the game dose often depending on what's going on dose question a lot. When you first cross the punk frogs he already thrown off by them before you even start fighting them. He doesn't trust the chairman at all and makes it clear in a lot of interactions. Honestly only time he isn't being this way is when it comes to finding Casey he's pretty confident they are fine. Has a hopeful attitude., is optimistic. And discreet and value silence. I dont agree on the last bit but I will say Raphael can be hopeful and even optimistic but it's very much in a Raphael way in that he knows they will win the fights and such he don't doubt that butt kicking. As you can see Raph's hand writing is messy and spaced out its because he is impatient don't take this imagine for fact he slants when he writes with out a line to guide him.

"Only through those weird portal 'hings." I do kind of feel the portals into the chairman shop are meant to be some weird distorting space but for the sake of this answer I don't feel like this Raphael has been all that many places. Despite liking the docks he's not big on boats. He gets motion sickness uwu buuut he don't like that being know. Cause hes a big tough guy can't be letting others know some waves make him feel like pucking his pizza u-u.

"I like the sound of rain and the ocean waves.." I wouldn't call him the outdoorsy type but he loves going out to the dock to simply listen to the ocean waves. It's a such a nice calming sound. He likes to sneak away on his own and just stay on the docks by himself where he listens to the water for hours on end. But he also has a love for rain because it reminds him of someone special more so those stormy nights.

Splinter often always tries to really help Raphael with his anger in different ways expect 12 u-u were not here for me to rant about this though XD

Splinter knows Raphael doesn't mean anything by his temper, but he dose want to help his son control said temper. Granted video game I feel Raphael has a bit better handle on his temper knowing when best to really let lose at worse? He is just quick to become confrontational. Brash and ready to throw in insults and such As seen with him and Leo's interaction from the comic tie in of the game. Raphael seems the type working with his hands helps him over quite mediation. But Splinter doesn't want to resort to 'hit things' he want's Raph to think. So he got him into the practice of folding paper and well he ended up getting pretty good at it. Since he was a kid he start making simple things like paper frogs. But hes far more skilled now and sometimes can be found in his hammock just making whatever comes to mind like flowers or cranes. He has a set of turtles in blue, red, purple and orange paper respectively that he keeps in his room, they are the only ones he don't throw out and will be a bit upset if you mess with them. Splinter made them for him when teaching him about origami, with them is a messy made rat that Raphael made to go with them.

Raphael also has a special soft spot for Splinter's Noodle surprise dish even if it's a little too salty.

Raphael's a fan of rock music and heavy metal it's what he has blasting in his room when he works out or when hes helping Donnie with any vehicles. Has a very bad habit of listening to music far louder than he needs to or should for sure. He dose like some pop music and that's the only time he will make use of headphones or lowering the music. Raphael a bit more touchy on keeping his tough guy appearance on display.

"Eh not really, ain't much point."

Kinda sorta of, he dose and he doesn't. It sort of depends in all truth on what it is about. As stated in his own ways Raph can be hopefully and optimistic even. He is a very straight forward guy and he doesn't often keep to his past too much more where to go from here. He tends to blow of fails pretty well to just more annoyed that he has to start again. Only thing to do is get back out there and fight again standing around and moping doesn't get anything done after all.

☾ : My muse and sleep. (How much they sleep, how much they wish to sleep, if there is something that never fails to put them to sleep, e.t.c.) 

"Eh I sleep when I gotta" Not like his twin who doesn't seem to understand he needs to go bed, Raphael just is someone who can easily stay up late with out meaning to so much. Mostly because well staying up late means he can sneak out to the surface and maybe get in to a brawl or two. So he tends to be up pretty late often not going to bed till about late in the night and sleeping in if he can the following day. Raphael can actually get by with few hours of sleep, he'll just be a bit more grumpy but everyone is used to him being grumpy just means he sometimes might take a nap in the middle of the day. Which means the turtle is staying up late once again cause he won't be tried come night time.

Raph uses social media just not for the social aspect of it he likes things like tiktok and youtube, but anything that's more for interaction? Nah he just likes to watch videos and such. As established in other replies he doesn't even know Twitter is an app ant a person. So for a good well he's just gonna call Yvonne twitter. Raphael isn't much of a social person in the first place so sites that are more for that?

That being said he dose in fact use Tumblr himself, mostly to re blog stuff like memes and such. He likes to post his origami stuff here and there they tend to go unseen he also likes to take pictures of his bike i'm sorry I can't not see raphie having a bike himself uwu so his feed is mostly memes and almost macanic aesthetics

So pretty much an introvert and some people just drain him more than others and this dose go towards his own brothers even. Mikey and Leo tend to be more draining to deal with for him and often why Leo and Mikey can wear on his nerves so badly. Donnie? Donnie is the exception. Don is clam to be around the person Raph can be alone together with not to odd to find him near Don's work bench late at night. If he's in a pretty bad mood Don's kind of the only person who he will be nice towards. It's that twin biased uwu

I feel like all Raphael's are in fact animal lovers uwu I think Raph has a liking for cats the most, least ally cats seem to like him sometimes he keep little treats on hand that he can feed to any he comes across. It's cause he is also an alley cat himself they just vibe together uwu also the image of big mean look Raph with a cat rubbing against his leg well he tries to keep looking mean is adorable to me uwu

I feel Raph might not be the best with gifts but it's clear he had the person in mind he might not ever give the perfect gift or maybe even a good gift. But he did have the other person in mind and I feel that often that matters more. It's not a careless gift more maybe they would like this thing. And bless him he dose try he's just not the best, like he gives Casey things they might like simply cause they like hockey but it's kind of a dumb gift like a little hockey stick pen.

Raphael loves his family he is loyal to them even if he can come across as critical toward his brothers. Especially Leo. Raphael is reckless in fights because he much rather take a hit over any of his brothers, He focused on landing critical hit when it comes to fights because the sooner he takes an opponent done the better. Because then that mean less chance for the others getting hurt. Raphael's love and dedication to his family is just as much a part of him as his anger is. Raph takes being the protect of his family very seriously and it extends to anyone consider family, but the world is so big and so full of harmful things.

Losing Splinter of course put him in the same panic as everyone else, but he felt fighting enough would be the answer. but as they go over and over again through many of the same fights only for it to be made into some twisted game? Wore down on him. Was he not doing enough? If he was fighting better than they would have their dad back right? He tries his best to stay as support for the team the muscle a tank that can take it all. But emotionally? he was falling apart and coming undone. The longer they went with out their dad? The less home was feeling like well home. Recalling all his memories with Splinter wondering if he been taking it all for granted this whole time? All Raph wants is to bring his dad back home. But he also can't let those cracks be seen hes the idiot muscle head who jumps into fights after all.

His connection his brothers is something unbreakable and that nothing can come between. Even if he fights with Leo he still follows them into battle he just wants Leo to get over himself. They aren't like the foot following order without question. They are meant to be a team why can't Leo get that?

Don as mentioned hes got a biased towards. Raphael doesn't ever mind when Don feels the need to run into his room and grip over an argument he has online. And hes easy to assume if Don needs him for anything he don't even have to ask Raph will be there. Heck he might just follow Donnie with out a mention needing to be made. Don asks Raph if he could come with him a moment and Raph's just gets up uncaring why.

Mikey still gets on his nerves it's what baby bros do best, and he loves him despite it. He actually likes some of Mikey's jokes even more if Don joins in with them and Leo hates it. Raphael honestly wishes he could be a bit more optimistic like Mikey so it's why he tries in his own way. If you want to really piss him of though? hurt Mikey and that all it takes. Tends to be wary around Slash for this reason since Mikey's close to them.
