Part 2: Caution to the Wind
Part 1: Grey Skies and Blue Eyes
Tumblr media
pairing: Officer!Leon Kennedy x Coroner’s Assistant!Reader
no use of y/n or names
warnings: Leon has some small dirty thoughts about reader. not anything to really worry about this chapter, we’re slowly building up to the darker themes.
Tumblr media
as Leon pulled up to her apartment, a shitty, two toned, plain looking building. He let out a sigh, the squeak of the windshield wipers the only sound as her breath was near caught in her throat. "tha-", "wel-", their voices mingled in the warm air, thanks to Leon's Jeeps air conditioning.  a soft smile fell on her lips while Leon's wide eyes stayed on her, an eager pull to his lips. "you first.", his words were sweet and soft, nearly as quiet as the air conditioner. "i was going to say thank you.", she let a breath release from her tense chest, "for the ride and your time.", a look of awe as lightening danced across the sky, lighting up the two.
In the quick light, she could see his hair stuck to his forehead from the walk to the car, blonde strands twisted and plastered to his tan skin. "it's- it's no problem. an honor- really.", he shifted, his hand running through those darkened locks, causing a drop of water to fall down his cheek. "to drive a pretty girl like you home.", a shaky breath left his wet lips, slick with spit from his tongue darting across them. her cheeks lit up, almost unbearingly hot. gaze dropping instantly. Her feet tapped softly, the bottles of gatorade in the floorboard nearly making her laugh. "do you want-", "i meant-", laughter filled the car as they spoke over each other once more. "do you want to come inside?", she didn't know why she was asking, he was a coworker- someone she saw nearly daily and felt... odd around.
She was inviting him inside? Leon's smile tilted, his eye squinting while the other remained wide in a 'why would you ask that?' way. "sure.", he nodded, looking back at his uniform pants, fingers on the keys, causing them to jingle as he cut the vehicle off. Did she not realize how dangerous that was? They'd just seen each other in passing. Then again, accepting his ride, had he been anyone but his sweet, caring self, would've also been a mistake. Did this girl not realize the situations she was possibly putting herself in? Sure, Leon had watched her, possibly for longer than she realized, her eyes reflecting the lightening as Leon stared at her. Pupils moving around as she thought, he wanted to know what about, was she thinking about him? was she finally piecing together that he really was, at the end of the day, a stranger.
———
Her fingers moved to the door knob as she twisted it, she didn't have to unlock her door, she wasn't a worrier, she trusted those who lived around her. She was insane, Leon had figured, who was so trusting that they accepted rides, offered people into her home and left the door unlocked. "you don't lock your door?", Leon asked, his head tilting as he walked through the threshold.  "no- i trust everyone on this floor and sometimes Mrs. Jones will drop off some of her cooking for me.", she admitted as she placed her purse down on the counter, her apartment was very... her... it was cozy and warm- inviting - too much so. How could she just tell him that, that crucial piece of information about her life? "you just trust nobody will steal from you, come in while you're gone?", Leon couldn't help but press as his eyebrows furrowed.
Her shoulders rolled slightly, shaking out the stiffness as she wiped the rain from her face. "i haven't had any issues yet.", she was either very, very naïve or she was stupid. Leon wasn't sure which was the truth, she had gotten a job at RPD so clearly she wasn't stupid. She was just innocent and good natured, the world didn't deserve that. She didn't understand how dangerous it was out there, but Leon did. His family having been murdered when he was younger- he knew how nasty it was. He knew how human nature could become deranged so quickly, human nature was so quick to flip a switch. Someone so kindhearted could kill- someone so chivalrous could stab you in the back in a moment.
Maybe that's why Leon found himself staring daggers into her. How could she be so fucking naïve?  "Are you thirsty?", she asked, her head lulling over her shoulder to get a good look at him. in an instant the glare was gone, swapped with a smile that made her feel like there were butterflies in her stomach. "do you have any tea?", he couldn't help but have his mind racing as he stared down at the girl in front of him. How fucking naïve could she be? It wasn't something he wanted to think about, what if some creep wanted to break in? What if someone hurt her. He could feel his eyes widening, training on her form. Hands reached up to open the cabinet, presumably holding mugs.
If she had turned around, she'd see Leon's perturbed stare, it irked him. How could she act as if her life wasn't in danger, because it was. In Leon's mind, she was always in danger. She lived in a relatively shitty end of town. Far from his apartment, he lived on the North side of town, near the college and bustling streets. She lived in the nearly dark side of town, hell, Raccoon City didn't even care to put many street lamps on this side of town. South side was always the place crime happened, it's where those increase in bodies had started, a few gang related incidents and some drug deals gone wrong. Did she realize how much danger was outside her doorway every day, the door she left practically open, inviting anything in?
Her hands pulled at the creaky cabinet doors, reaching for two mugs. "do you prefer any certain kind? i have many.", her eyes went to him, she knew he was acting a little off. He hadn't really acted the same as the station. People were different out side of work, she knew that. She was. Leon was just... "i'm okay with anything.", his hands slipped into his pockets, eyes dancing around the apartment. It wasn't the most decorated, nor was it going to be the cleanest. Throw pillows sat on the couch, she had a candle or two out, burnt down to the middle. Leon couldn't help but be more intrigued. He wanted to know more about the girl who seemed to throw caution to the wind.
"it's a....", his word droned on as she filled up the kettle, the water running over his words. "shitty?", she offered, a smile on her lips in amusement. "well- i wasn't-", he tried to cover up, trying to not offend the girl he just got to be near. "i'm fucking with you, Kennedy.", she giggled, fingers turning on the burner as she placed the metal kettle on the eye. "it's a shit hole- i know.", her hands rested on her biceps, crossing her arms over her chest. She watched as Leon took in her apartment, the decor and photos around. "you see anything that peaks your interest?", she was curious what else he would say. He was so awkward it was almost funny. "yeah...", he smirked, it looked cute on him, not douch-y as it did on most men. "you.", his cheeks flushed at his own flirt. Then, it was hurt urn to be flustered, her eyes nearly falling from their sockets. "me?", she breathed slowly, her teeth biting into the flesh of her bottom lip. "i'm fucking with you.", he used her own words against her. He meant it, but he didn't want to move too quickly, he was known to speak without thinking, girls found him awkward and too eager. He tried to reel back a little, not realizing how it looked to her. Kitty wished he hadn't been 'fucking' with her. "well played.", she laughed, hearing the whistle of the tea kettle, causing her to jump slightly. "shit-!", she hissed, quickly turning off the eye and pulling the kettle off the eye and pouring the steaming water into the respective cups. Before, she added in two bags of peppermint tea to them.
"we'll let it steep.", she spoke, her hands bouncing the bags, holding the paper ends. Leon watched as she did so... she was so domestic. Leon's apartment barely had anything in it. She had hers filled, cluttered in a well lived in way. Part of him was curious what her bedroom looked like. It was a good thing you could read people on, but what bothered him the most was the unlocked door. He couldn't get over that, he wondered how much more careless she could be. His head moved, looking towards the back of her apartment, a small hallway, two rooms on either side and then a door at the very end. "it's a cozy place, i didn't mean anything by it.", he felt the need to let her know he appreciated how welcoming she was, even if it found it astonishing that she'd let a man- someone who could easily over power her in her own home, into her safe space.
"its.. a shithole.", her hair fell over those big eyes, hands holding both mugs as she walked towards her couch. Leon's eyes followed up her legs, to her ass. her pencil skirt hugged her hips so perfectly. the way she swayed her hips and bent down to place the mugs in the corkboard coasters. He felt his dick twitch in his pants. slit brushing against the zipper, causing a small hiss to leave his lips. "you okay?", her head was turned back to look at him, her body still bent, the skirt tight over her plump ass. Leon stifled a groan, his eyes fighting to stay open and off of the black rippled fabric, there's no way she couldn't tell that her skirt was hugging her ass tightly. "i'm okay.", he had a slight whine to his tone, a huff of air leaving his throat as he moved his hands over his crotch, crossing them. "just a little thirsty is all.", the curtains over her sink window now becoming very... very interesting to him. His adams' apple bobbed, holding back saliva.
"tea's ready.", she knew something was happening, her eyes going down to his crossed hands, "you don't have to be nervous. I don't mind you being here.", it was almost cute how innocent she was. Leon also felt bad. How could he think of someone to cure like this. Imagining sliding that tight fabric over the plump of her- "Leon.", her voice broke his impure thoughts. "the sink really that interesting?", she crossed her arms, bottom lip slightly jutted out in a unconscious pout. "right, sorry.", his face flushed, an itch in the back of his esophagus starting up as his fingers brushed over the skin on his neck. "i zoned out there.", he explained it away.
"right...", she had a squinted look, her eyes tense as she watched him. Something- something wasn't right with him, she was sure, maybe it all amounted down to his nerves. Leon wasn't the most gracious in front of girls. She'd noticed then Jill spoke to him, his cheeks pink and eyes moving around anywhere but her. She'd found it cute at the time, but Leon was a grown man who, at least she assumed, wouldn't be that shy.
To anyone else, Leon was a nice man, he'd walk you to your car, help you with anything you asked him for. Give the shirt off his back. His eyes had picked up on her suspicions, he wasn't sure what she had made up in her mind about him, but he knew she was starting to act a bit different. A bit more cautious if he did say so himself. "i'm going to change, if that's okay?", she whispered, her eyes not leaving his. "that's fine. I'll just sit here and enjoy this tea you made.", lips curled back as his finger hooked the handle of the mug. it was cute, little cat motifs across the sides. "y-yeah-", her voice was airy, her hand wrapped around her midriff as she stepped back. "enjoy, i've got cookies in the cabinet too if you want any.", she offered, what a sweet girl.
As she walked into her bedroom, Leon leaned back, his back pressed deep into the couch cushion. His head tilted towards those 3 doors in the hallway. He didn't mean to be so nosey, but catching the purple bed spread and the open window from the closing door. He knew he had to be.

This Is Me… I’m Going
Pairing:Leon x Tom
Rating: S for suggestive content— sort of
Part: 1 out of ??
Word Count: idk it’s short.
Tagging: @scariusaquarius who inspired me writing this au cuz she haaaad to remind me of my love for noir!Leon
Description: Tom and Leon grow closer as people and the latter of the two finally decides what to do for Tom’s birthday
"Mr. K I just wanted to-" Tom paused, noting that his boss was in the middle of a shirt change- probably spilled his coffee on it by accident again. "Woah- okay I'll come back later-" he offered, making a beeline for the door.
"I told you not to call me that. You call me Leon, remember?" Leon mused, calling Tom back in with a simple gesture, watching as the man slowly walked back through the threshold. "Now... What did you need to ask me?"
Tom cleared his throat, standing before Leon timidly, looking up at the man and hesitantly locking blue eyes with him. "I- well... I wanted to know what you wanted me to get you for dinner- when you come back later-"
Leon raised an eyebrow. "Is that... all you wanted to ask?" He inquired, watching the man nod and fidget slightly with the sleeve of his deep red button up. "I'll just take another coffee, don't worry your pretty head about getting me anything." He insisted.
"I'll bring you the usual then. You know I'm not going to let you work on an empty stomach-" Tom insisted, ignoring the blush that burnt across his cheeks. He cleared his throat nervously. "I should go- you asked me to do research earlier- I'm- I haven't finished that yet..."
Shaking his head at the shorter man's stubbornness, Leon nodded to his statement. "Yeah... you should do that-"
"Right- but what if-" Tom suddenly cut himself off, realizing his gaze had lingered a bit too long on Leon's exposed chest and took note of the fact that the other man didn't seem the least bit concerned about buttoning it back up right now. He forced himself to meet the brunette's gaze again. "What if-'' he tried again, breath hitching in his throat.
Leon smirked slightly, catching where Tom's gaze fell as he listened to the other's soft tone. He inquired, closing the space between their forms, leaning down and capturing Tom's lips in an eager yet gentle kiss, the first between them, but certainly not the last judging by how eagerly they both seemed to fall into it.
Tom blushed darkly, kissing the man back, fingers reaching up to tangle slightly in his boss's slicked back hair. He pulled back once he needed air, looking up at the other through his lashes.
"What if, what?"
"I'm sorry... were we talking-?" Tom offered a coy smile, caught up in the lingering feeling of the man's plush lips on his own, softly resting his hands on the smooth expanse of Leon's chest.
Not bothering to answer the, obviously, rhetorical question, Leon leaned back in and kissed his secretary again, firmly grasping the other man's hips. He didn't remember the last time he indulged himself in something he wanted, and he didn't really care about the past anyway, so pleased to be able to kiss this handsome man and enjoy himself even if for the moment.
The pair kissed for what felt like ages, Tom's hands shifting to grasp onto Leon's shoulder with one and cup his jaw with the other. It seemed they couldn't get enough of each other, the kiss growing deeper and far more feverish the longer it went on, a few soft noises leaving them both.
And then Tom pulled back quickly, timidly running a hand through his hair as he drew back, avoiding Leon's hypnotic gaze in an attempt to compose himself. "I'm sorry. I, um... I have to continue researching-" he insisted, scurrying towards the door as fast as his legs could carry him.
He couldn't believe how carried away he had gotten himself.
"I know." Leon's voice rang out as he followed, slightly in disbelief at how fast that warm comforting affection had been ripped away. He felt like a dog chasing its master to get more attention.
Before Tom could even reach the door he felt Leon grab him by his arm and turn him right back around, arms coiling around him as he kissed him deeply. He wouldn't let him get away that easily. Not now. Now that he realized they both were rather interested in each other.
Tom kissed back without any hesitation, hands resuming previous positions for the moment before he almost started trying to tug Leon's shirt off. "God you feel-"
"You have to get back to doing that research-" Leon interrupted, a faint air of teasing in his voice and a smirk playing at his lips as he walked Tom backwards to the door.
Nodding, Tom took in a shaky breath. "I know. This is me-" He kept a bit of distance between them, an eager smile curling his lips as he glanced back at the door for a moment, pulling it shut with a soft click. "I'm going..."
Leon chuckled softly, hands pressing to the man's shoulders and leaning him right up against the frosted glass door. His blue eyes were darkened with lust and he kissed Tom again, hunger driving his actions- but not a hunger for food, a hunger only for Tom- one that he had been dying to satisfy for months.
Tom sighed in satisfaction, this time giving in and reaching up to slide Leon's crisp white dress shirt off of him before tangling his fingers back up in the mans hair, further messing it up.
Grinning gently, Leon began moving his kisses down Tom's jaw and then down his neck pausing only when he heard the man in his grasp chuckle softly.
"I like this."
"Me too." Leon chuckled as well, resting his head on his partner's shoulder gently, looking up at him. "You know, you still haven't told me what you'd like for your birthday." He teased, beginning to gently rub Tom's hip.
Tom smiled and nodded gently, tracing the little scars along Leon's torso, unable to help himself. "Surprise me." He purred.

“Not exactly a five star, is it?” You glanced cautiously around the market, slowing your breath to a whisper as to not alert anything lurking about. There wasn’t much choice in your resting quarters these days, and you should count yourself lucky you even made it this far at all.
“No.” Leon grunted from the entrance, using all his strength to shove a couple of shelves in the form of a blockade at the door. He wasn’t fond of taking chances. Especially not after the first gas station he had the misfortune of visiting in this hell. “But, if you know a place close by, I’m all ears.” He sighed in relief when he was done, hands clapping together as he swept some of the dust and caked on blood from them. It made little difference in his appearance, and he grimaced at the smell coming from him. To think of all those years he took showers for granted, if the world ending was anything, it was humbling. “We should take a look around. Better to be safe.”
“Yeah.” You watched him sweep by you, his precious Lightning Hawk already drawn and ready to dispatch possible threats. He really was a cop, you mused. Rookie or not, he was one hell of a survivor, and you were certain you wouldn’t be standing here if not for him. To think it was only a few weeks ago when you first met, at the end of his gun no less. Thankfully, he wasn’t the trigger happy type, and that zombie yearning for your flesh soon found itself truly dead by his hands.
“Geez, what a mess...” The truck stop was rummaged and ransacked, broken bottles and entire food shelves thrown to the ground. It was clear people had stocked up here at the beginning of all this, and unfortunately for you both there wasn’t much in the way of a meal. At least you had grown accustomed to that disappointment.
“It’s all clear.” Leon came from around the aisle, gun once again holstered at his hip. He seemed relieved, knowing that his makeshift barricade could buy you both at least a few hours until a horde came crashing in. A mercy you hadn’t felt in quite some time.
“Well, I’ve got some good news for you.” You reached into a canister, waving around the last packs of jerky you managed to scavenge. “Hope you like dry meat.” You moved towards him, holding one of them out and gently pushing it into his chest. He grabbed it swiftly, a breath of a laugh escaping him at your quip.
“My favorite.” Leon spoke, sighing heavily at the thought of having to endure another less than savory dinner. “Take our wins where we can get them, right?” He began unpacking the item, ripping off a bite or two before he felt the loss of your presence. “Y/N?”
“Back here!” You called out to him, too focused on the facilities lining the wall of the backrooms. It wasn’t often either of you got lucky enough to find running utilities, but it seems this one was in good standing. For the time being, that is. “Check it out.” You turned the knob of the shower, happy to hear the creaks and squeals of the pipes as a stream of water came leaking out. It wasn’t strong by any means, but you were grateful the truck stop offered these amenities around here. “Looks like they paid their water bill, at least.”
“Yeah.” Leon glanced at it with a longing expression, no doubt equally tempted to douse himself clean from all the grime and blood he was covered in. The poor thing, you thought, knowing he was in worse shape than you. “It won’t last long. It’s tapping into the reserves down here.” He reached for the lagging flow of water, cringing when he felt the cool temperature it brought forth. “Ice cold.”
“Take our wins, right?” You offered him a tired smile, leaning against the wall as you watched him wash some dirt from his fingertips. It would be nice to manage one shower, considering it had been ages since your last.
“Go ahead and wash up. I’ll wait outside for you.” Leon pulled away from the shower, trying to be the gentleman you had come to learn he was. The man needed a bath as badly, if not more, than you did. It would be uncivil of you to expect him to remain in such a poor state for the sake of dignity. If it truly was the end of the world, what did any of that matter now.
“Wait...Leon-um...” You felt the rise of a blush on your cheeks, the sudden idea crossing your mind making you grow nervous with him. Would it be odd for you to suggest such a notion? Dignity really didn’t matter these days, that much was true, but now that you found yourself holding onto his arm and staring into those piercing blue eyes of his...all the bravery you felt slipped away. “Just,” You slowly released his arm, turning away awkwardly in consideration. It wouldn’t do either of you any good to waste more time here, so the argument pretty much presented itself. “Listen, the water isn’t going to last long, and we both know they’ll just keep piling up outside.”
He was quick to catch up, and you were thankful he got the hint of your suggestion from your rambling. For a moment, he looked intrigued, but that quickly faded to the courteous manner he normally treated you with. “I don’t know if I should-Uh...” Leon rubbed the back of his neck, momentarily glancing away from you as less than pure images began running through his mind. He wasn’t blind, after all. Your attractiveness wasn’t lost on him and while he certainly would’ve entertained the idea of asking you out prior to the virus, he wasn’t sure this was the logical next step.
“Look, we can sit and debate this all night or just get it over with.”
“Uh-...Okay.” He caved to the invitation, shrugging away his skepticism. You weren’t wrong, he found, and cold or not he missed the comforts of a shower.
“Okay.” You agreed, still trying to hide the obvious embarrassment you felt as you began undressing. This wasn’t how you pictured the night going, but somewhere in the recesses of your mind you were glad for it.
“I’ll turn away.” Leon swiftly pivoted on his boots, clearing his throat as he listened to the ruffle of your clothes and shoes coming off. He briefly wondered what you looked like, but he reminded himself of his wits and settled for removing his own dirty attire. Now wasn’t the time to be playing the pining fool, because that could likely spell a death sentence.
You let out a shaky breath, arms instinctively coming to cloak your chest from anyone’s view. It was cold in the room, and the water was no more relishing as it hit your body. The slow stream cascaded across your curves, enveloping you in what was possibly the worst shower you had taken in your life. But, count your blessings, right? Because, at least you felt the weight of the filth melting off your figure in a welcomed silence. Eventually, you grew used to it, and it was only when you heard his footsteps that you dared to open your eyes.
Immediately you made to look away, not wanting to ogle the officer that stood completely nude in front of you. If you were honest, he was the only sight worth seeing since this all started. You knew he was built beneath the uniform, but the visual of his muscles so exposed and on display...it left you flushed and wanting.
Leon was no better in his failed attempts to be a decent person and stare anywhere but you. But, no matter how hard he tried he’d find himself journeying back to your bare figure. There wasn’t much room to work with in this stall, and while he wished to give you space, he couldn’t exactly determine a decent way to do so.
“You can,” How childish you were acting. There was hardly any time to get a decent shower in, and here you were ruining the rare treat by covering up and worrying over a custom that barely held these days. “You can look, I’m sure it’s nothing you haven’t seen before.” You blushed at the last bit, knowing a handsome man like Leon had his fair share of women in the past. You even entertained the fantasy of dating him, but that was a long shot and something left for the day all of this ended and returned to normal. If it ever did.
He laughed softly at that, finally ignoring the shred of decency he was trying to muster by giving you space. In reality, he was grateful for your words. “If only it was under better circumstances.”
You smiled at his comment, realizing you had wished the same. If there was one positive thing you could take from the virus corrupting everyone around you, it was this. The natural way it broke down barriers and let two people become close in the span of a few weeks. After all, being saved by a complete stranger would create a bond unlike any other.
You gradually reached for his hand, fingers sweeping his palm when you tugged gently to pull him under the water with you. It was slowly losing its force, but you hoped it last long enough to enjoy this moment. “Here.” The water sprayed across Leon’s head, soaking his blond strands and slicking them back and away from his features. It brought out the blue in his eyes more, or perhaps, that was just the proximity of your wet bodies.
“Thank you.” Leon sighed, blinking as droplets swept down his forehead and over his face. He would’ve closed his eyes from the annoyance, but he was content with the view he had in front of him. You were no longer covering up, but were easily on display in all your bare glory for him. He probably should have made his attraction less obvious, but he couldn't ignore his more primal self from admiring you. Every detail, he took in. From the curve of your hips to the delicate way you ran your fingers through your dampened hair. Every action was deliberate with you, and he couldn’t help but watch as your hands caressed down your sides to wipe the particles of dirt away.
“Wait.” Leon reached forward, roughened fingertips tracing the edge of your hip bone where your thigh connected. There was a line of muck you had missed, and he was far too entranced by your movements to care if he crossed a line.
His touch made you stiffen in place, your eyes opening to glance up at him as he continued his path along your prickled skin. The heat of his palm was a welcomed change, and in contrast to the water it felt like heaven to you. You only hoped he wasn’t astute enough to notice how effortlessly you were affected by the sensation.
“Missed a spot.” He smiled cheekily down at you, hand moving to leave your skin he desperately wanted to continue touching. It was only when you promptly grabbed his hand, eyes steady and longing as they bored into him, that he opted not to move.
“Just a while longer.” You pleaded, missing the comfort of touch, his touch. It had been far too long since you felt such a way, and you couldn’t bear the thought of losing it so quickly all over again. “Please.”
Leon considered your appeal, lips parting as he released a breath and decided it was now or never. “Don’t worry.” He caressed you again, thumb brushing your waist as he leaned down. “I’m not going anywhere.”

Blind Memory
Chapter 2: Going back in complication
*2 weeks later*
Its been weeks since Joen's encountering to Nicol's little doll friend name Addy that started to give him a certain problem that he didn't know or whether or not it is a problem or wasn't. His has been having headaches that he thought he got over it after he and his brothers left the asylum, however, this is different then just a natural headache. While sleeping or napping, he keeps on getting dreams about that same image memory of the mysterious girl.
One is an image inside a dark room crouching closer to him with her hand reach out to his face, two is an image of the girl sitting at a bench from a place that is unfamiliar. Then today is a different image memory after he took a longest nap of his time, it is an image that couldn't make out clearly but 4 things; two hands holding together, a scream of a girl and many voices of boys, a forest filled with traps and blood from a leg with a bear trap. This frustrated him too much that he needed to get another sleeping pill at the other room where they storage all the medical equipment including medicine. He always sleeps by consuming with a single sleeping pills yet he wanted to get the headaches to go way as possible.
He sits up from his bed and stretches his arms and legs before jumping out of his comfy bed to go to the kitchen first before getting the pills.
At the kitchen was Lea and Linette eating snacks at a warm afternoon and that is went they both look up to see Joen with his sleepy face wearing onto him with his hair in slick back and went to the fridge. Since those weeks after Ronnie inform them along with the whole group about Joen's behavior. The Unicorn and the Lion pretty much could notice him every afternoon at the kitchen seeing the Rabbit man goes to the kitchen, eat, grab some pills then left returning to his bedroom. Beside that is Victoria, the one wearing a Poodle mask and apprentice to the comedian Margaret Cho and Bebe, they both saw Joen walking at the kitchen similar to what the lion girl and the unicorn girl witness but only at almost midnight. Linette could see that the pills he pick was sleeping pills and acetaminophen for headaches. Lea, Linette, Ronnie and Bebe were the only people who kept checking on the rabbit man as the other day where Lea called one of Joen's brother Leon Roger, apprentice to Lance Bass. He was only brother very close to his older brother then the other 3 brothers, she inform him of the concerns of the white rabbit himself which turn out shortly told her to talk to him. He inform to the royal lion that he may be tough to get talk to him but the black rabbit knew his older brother so well that he is the most honest rabbit of the 5 Rabbit brothers.
She thank Leon for that and cancelled the call. This is the day Lea and Linette to reach out from him to get into a investigation chat together.
Lea: Joen?
The rabbit man look at her side meeting the lion girl as he gave a groan and rubbing his face with his face before turning his face into her.
Joen: y-yeah?
His voice was kinda tired like he never been sleeping at all. Linette went to Lea's side and look at Joen.
Linette: Joen, we need to talk.
Joen gave them a confuse look but tried not to look very sloppy in front of them.
Joen: what do you want to talk about?
Lea: can we talk together at Unicorn's room?
Joen: why the hell do you guys want me to her room for?
Linette: about the problem you been doing weeks ago.
Joen look at them in complete silence. Damnit, he forgot that he carelessly didn't told them about his headache problem in deep seriousness. He didn't even told them or mostly Ronnie at the past few weeks ago he walk pass through him without answering him. And what's worse is the fact he didn't call for help of this situation he had, he had never pass the question or ignored everything that everyone in this mansion was. He is a honest and kind rabbit goddamnit! He snaps out of his head with a twitch then look at them with a shaking sigh as he nodded and followed them to Linette's room.
Linette's room was clean and pure white with a hint of gold, platinum, bronze and silver across the room, a white piano, a bookshelf of books containing fairytales and other genres, a white bed fit for a unicorn girl and 2 white chairs and 1 lounge chair where they all sit while Joen sitting at the lounge chair. Joen avoid eye contact to his friends which Lea caught her attention as she speaks.
Lea: Joen, I know that you keep telling us that it is just a headache that might go away for an hour but this is getting serious is that this isn't really a headache at all.
Joen: .....
Joen didn't answer her then went to Linette with her hand placing at his shoulder.
Tumblr media
Linette: Rabbit, you know you can tell us about it. Remember what we all told you about someone has a problem right? We are all family and we take care for our family and that includes your problem.
Joen still didn't answered, his face looks distressed yet sadden from the thought he didn't answer them. He could feel his back and shoulder weighting him down from the guilt he felt for not telling anyone of everything he felt since weeks ago. But the dizzy memory image that kept haunting him from his sleep that he tried to forget couldn't stop him in one piece. He shakingly sigh and slowly look at the two females before his turn lowered to his lap.
Joen: Unicorn.... Have you remember my story at my.... Asylum days? Where me and my brothers used to lived and survived to love and hate.
He said in a lower voice. He seem shaking at that topic.
Linette knew that topic makes him feel uneasy after getting to know him. After years of that horrible place he and the 5 Rabbit brothers been through, although she remembered that to her suspension the rabbit man didn't even mentioned about how he and his brothers escape. With the help of the lion girl, her work from gathering information of a bunch of rumors about that place but none of those rumors revealed the answer how they escape, even visiting the 4 Rabbits who also didn't know how they escape but the last time they remembered was Joen at the hospital with a injured leg, head and right eye which Lea considered a clue for a very long time during the rivalry of the Rabbits vs Dogs.
They both nodded to him and Joen continued.
Joen: well... A few weeks ago when I meet up with the Dog with his little doll friend of his which gaves me a headache for no reason.
Linette: and?
Joen: I sort of thought that the headaches are cause by the doll girl that Nicol introduced me.
Lea: who is this doll girl who Nicol introduced?
Joen: he did't told me her name since they got to my amusement park restaurant, however, Nicol did call her name. Its Addy.
Linette listen focusing at his words to pick up the info from him. The cause of his headaches was a doll girl? What?
Lea: wait, what did it has to do with the doll girl name Addy do to you at the asylum?
Joen: i-i don't know... But the first time she look at me with a mask on her face except her mouth was exposed was nothing but expressionless, the time we first handshake, the small crack on her left wrist then.... That voice....
Its like.... I have know her before... At the asylum which I don't understand.
Linette's head jolt in surprise at his speech and hop out of her chair then went to her closet looking for something. Joen and Lea look at each other and shrugs at whatever the unicorn girl is doing as she came back with something heavy on her hands. It is a typewriter, but not just an ordinary typewriter, it was a gray Deluxe Quiet Tab typewritter instead of a similar color scheme as her room and on top of that was a crystal ball at the end of the lever. Placing the typewriter at the rabbit man's side and facing two confusing faces to the unicorn girl.
Joen: uhh... Why did you bring a typewriter beside me?
Linette: Rabbit, this isn't just an ordinary typewriter. This one is came from my father who pass it to me for generations, it is special its because this typewriter could do some magic of the forgotte memory. This could help us know what exactly happened to you that haunts your head involving the doll girl you met weeks ago.
Linette proudly said of this precious old typewriter. The rabbit man and the lion girl couldn't make out if they would believe her or not but to Joen's opinion, he needs to know exactly why he felt so much about the Doll if he really knew her before or not.
Joen: alright Linette, how do I start?
Joen asked as Linette give him the constructions.
Linette: lay down at the chair and place your hand at the crystal ball at the lever, but not gripping it hard just let your hand hold and relax as you close your eyes to sleep. Me and Lea will wait till the typewriter write itself to show some stories of your forgotten memories that didn't connected to your most memories.
Joen nodded in understanding and remove his slick back hair to his messy hair beforr he lay his head at the lounge chair and placing his right hand to the crystal ball lightly. Slowly closing his eyes to force him to sleep quietly then wait till it happens. The royal lion walk beside the unicorn girl who is staring at the typewriter patiently. The crystal ball itself started to glow slowly as they both heard a clicking sound that came from the typewriter itself writing.
Lea: 2015... The same year where they still lived at that same old asylum and mysteriously escape together.
Quietly they both read the paper written the forgotten memory story of Joen's past.
*Joen's past, 2015*
At the far away place at the mountains filled with forest and danger, a huge asylum can be seen far away from the town where no patients or prisoners would not escape from a highly security that no one could imaging. A room was huge was inside are 5 male patients in different straightjacket colors base of their natural color of their hair. One was the oldest one in black and white straightjacket and hair, dark black eyes that looks off from reality or insanity with a insane creepy smile on his face. The other one was another older one but about younger then the oldest male beside him, this one is brown with long hair reaching at the back of his chest and gray daring eyes. Next is a younger one who is shorter then the other in pure black that could concealed him from darkness at night with electric blue eye on his left while his hair bangs covered the right eye that might covered a dirty secret. The next one is the youngest of the other male patients but instead he is taller then everyone, wearing a gray straightjacket and dark gray long hair that slick on his right with a serious look on his face.
What they all in common is that they all have the same type of teeth as sharp as a deadly paramus, sharp claws that could slice anyone, Rabbit ears, same last names and of all they are brothers.
The 4 brothers missing one brother with them. A metal sound cound be heard from behind them was two guards tossing a patient inside before shutting the door with a loud bang of the metal door. They all quickly ran onto the male patient in pure white straightjacket and messy hair, his hands are now freely from restrained him for a very long period of time as he opened his red eyes that could note out his puffy eyes from crying this long.
Leon: Joen? Joen Roger?! White!
The male in black was Leon Roger the Black Rabbit, who held his older brother in his arms trying to wake him up. The young Joen Roger the White Rabbit trying to open his eyes clearly from the blurry light at the sight of his other brothers especially his favorite brother Leon who is still holding him. He groan in pain as he sit up and rub his eyes. He could feel his arms become sore from the very long restrainting time.
He accidentally fall into his left and caught him in time for about to fall into the floor.
Helios: whoa there White, don't wanna see your face smack at the floor huh brother?
Helios Roger was the Black and White Rabbit, holding his brother to sit up and place him to sit his back at the wall. The youngest brother, Jason Roger the Gray Rabbit goes in front of him on his knees and talk to him.
Jason: White, its over. Your not in the Box anymore brother.
Jason could hear his older brother sobbing and his shaking voice which Leon hugged him and his other brother, Jacob Roger the Brown Rabbit put his hand to his messy white hair to comfort him. Joen has been at the solitary confinement in 26 hours after he attack his psychiatrist that lead him to his long hour isolation torture that he hated so much about this asylum.
However he couldn't just hating about the asylum, the 5 Rabbit brothers has been living in this asylum over 9 years and become so fond of wearing his pure white straightjacket except his restraining his arms. He hates being held back by someone and controlled him by putting him at the solitary confinement which they called it "the Box".
*At the Present*
While the typewriter written about his horrific experience of the solitary confinement that he had been through, the two females could hear him wimping at his sleep with his eyes close shut tightly behind his white hair bangs with tears could be form to his eyes that the Unicorn and the Lion look pity at the Rabbit about his traumatic experience of torture.
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, the typewriter continues to type the forgotten story.
To be continue.....
