Drew Laurance from my thought project "The Adventurers."

He's waiting for time to pass for him and the others to go to a wedding on his home world.

So, obligatory worldbuilding, the tunic and undershirt are customary. The band around his thigh marks that he is married, the crystal shows he's a good friend of the couple getting married, the armband things and rolled sleeves mark that he was a guard of the village and retired with honor (not really retired but moved to a bigger job protecting worlds instead of just a village) and the shoes don't have soles because dancing is a huge part of any celebration in this world and the soft shoes means you're lighter on your feet and can perform more complicated dances.

my father preached on sunday and the church had funeral flowers sitting out from the day prior. i sketched them while i was there, then made this based on a few of them. i think it turned out nice.

i used Artist's Loft colored pencils and soft pastels, as well as a gelly roll while liner. the sketchbook is also from Artist's Loft.
