I'm slow,learned about it only now,but I need to share.Fuller said he didnt even plan Hannigram as a romance,he jst saw the CHEMISTRY between Mads&Hugh and thought it'd be inauthentic not to develop it.I CANT BELIEVE.I thought it was planned!This is really a noncanon ship turned into canon.It makes me respect and worship him even more.He paid attention,he didnt ignore it and pretend theres nothing or make queerbait like ALL OTHERS DO.Hes so intelligent&attentive.Wish other creators were like him

And I agree with everything you said, though I’m still bitter we didn’t get a kiss. I mean we got a… not gonna lie kinda weird but hot lesbian sex scene like three scenes after Margot and Alana’s first meeting but not even a kiss after all that narrative build-up and sexual tension between Will and Hannibal? Yeah, I’m still salty about that.

I know Bryan wanted to show how Hannigram’s relationship goes beyond and is way more complex than a simple romantic fling but goddamn you cannot deny they wanted each other in every way possible, and Bryan even said he could see Will, who is confirmed straight (at least last time I checked), be… effectively seduced by Hannibal (we’ve seen how much influence Hannibal has on Will, and Will is definitely attracted to Hannibal so yeah I’d say that makes him a very “open” straight lol idk he’ll always be a late-blooming bisexual in my book but that’s just my headcanon).

BOTTOM LINE IS, BRYAN FULLER AND HANNIGRAM’S STORY IS A BLESSING, I’LL NEVER FORGET HOW W I L D IT WAS TO WATCH THEIR RELATIONSHIP DEVELOP FOR THE FIRST TIME AND MARVEL AT IT.

useless petty rant about Marvel´s new New Warriors

okay, so the premise of snowflake and safespace isnt that bad, it could be done - ironically adopting those names as a reaction to something, maybe a bit of a backstory, throw in some school bullies for all i care, but the jock x nonbinary person contrast seems like some solid queerbaiting. pink/blue color is also kinda fishy here but i guess, yeah, snowflakes are bluish... as lighthearted parody, why not. i sure am glad i dont have much say in this as a cis person, but like...gender aint a personality, it shouldnt be the first thing we learn about a character, correct me if im wrong.

are you trying to explain the pink, kinda weird looking thing the jock psychic twin is wearing by stating the colour of his fields? also maybe you should look into the connotations again and… the description kinda sounds like „social media addicted social justice warriors gen zs“, but thats just me being a disgusting bitter bitch.

im sure there are some smaller artists and creators with wonderful and inclusive comics, share them. show them to people. its important to find representation. through. some. good. content.

trailblazer is a pretty stupid name, but still makes sense in this case, no powers, magical item, still part of a group - cool, why not, there have to be some ways to make this work. also, maybe its overthinking, but seems to me like trying too hard while making a character whos virtually useless. she might be a wonderful person and important in the actual story, but...how can we tell from this? at least she seems like a nice chick. ... ironically adapting these nicknames is not too bad of an idea...if the characters are given depth and personality...and maybe someone competent is consulted?

screentime is a very milked-out idea of an child genius memelord freakazoid and something about this knockoff ben 10 gay porn addict in mountain dew hue just makes me irrationally angry and i cant help it or explain it but i just hate him and i myself dont quite understand. memes are not a personality and i bet this lil bitch plays fortnite competitively getting high on "internet gas"(????)

also, technology doesnt feel now, at least from my perspective, you know, westerner, middle class, born at the break of new millenium, it just feels…normal, a basic part of life? its like the modern version of summoning fresh newspaper at will. also i misread the caption as „wants infinite screen time“ and got confused at what his age is supposed to be(n), 10? in like 9th grade i made an oc from the future that gained knowledge of everything that ever happened by eating an apple and this is the backlash that id expect for him.

okay, i take everything back, what the fuck. is /this/ my oc from when i was in middle school? is that the joke? how does this work? im sure he would be tender lovers with my emo rainbow haired dhampire Vyctorius, just made for each other. at least he owns it i guess? what was first, the goth thing or the vampire thing? im just confused at this point but i got my goth butt hurt but also really fucking need that jacket now. the name is funny, he seems to try too hard, but that might make for a good character and fun story. be a vampire mary sue and own it, dude. you didnt choose the vamp style, you didnt deserve this roast, go fly into the night and feel free to be negative.

in conclusion of this pitiful bitterness powered rant: the concept is cool and promising, but no reason is given to be even mildly interested in these characters. this thing could work given good writing and colourful relationships and shit and i dont even know if im angry or disappointed or hungry or what but i find it very hard to believe the story will be any good. do the world a favour, prove me wrong. im not saying i could do this better, just that you could and maybe you should, too
